Riddle

Very impressed, he never thought you could do stuff like that and make it look so effortless. He doesn't know anything about figure skating, he did not watch it or ever see it because he wasn't allowed to. So when he sees you on the ice he's staring at you like you're a strawberry tart at a bakery!

You dragged this boy out on an ice-skating date to the ice rink. He was really nervous about this idea, he never skated before let alone even been any public entertainment places. He follows after you overthinking how this will go down.

You help him put on the ice skates making sure they are put on properly and secure. You have your own, a bit more worn out but good quality. You help him onto the ice slowly teaching him how to hold himself up, balance his weight and basic moves. He does get a bit tired and sore quickly going to sit down on the benches on the side lines. You stay on the rink moving to the centre of the space to avoid the small crowd of people on the main circle.

Riddle watched you intently. You move so fluidly as if it's not that hard. He struggled with just simple glides and you're out there spins, performing some pirouettes. He takes notice of your flexibility and how much time you must have put into training. His eyes follow you as you jump of the floor spinning in the airs with your arms contracted to your body legs slightly crossed over. He holds in a breath worried for you trying such a dangerous stunt. His mind is racing "what if they fall?", "How are they not slipping". At the same time he wants you to keep going, too see more. You're skill are so impressive, so beautiful.

You come off the ice, sitting down beside him a little puffed out. He looks at you for a few seconds unable to form a sentence, just staring at you with a amazed expression. "That was beautiful...how did you..." He is still trying to figure out how that is even possible, especially the quad, the amount of force and momentum you must need to perform that. "You are truly incredible..."

Azul

Azul is interested in the concept of ice skating, the idea of using an ice surface to perform such graceful and dangerous stunts. When he finds out you are a figure skater he is memorised. He will be very impressed by the ability of the human body to do such things involving great coordination and strength. Azul is relatively new to walking and here you are spinning and elevating high off the slippery surface landing on two thin blades.

It's the middle of winter, Azul goes to take a walk near campus. He comes across a small pond that now is frozen still. He doesn't pay much mind to it until he sees you in the corner of his eyesight. He freezes looking at you intently with his mouth agape.

You don't seem to notice him standing in the distance, your focused on practising some skills. You can't leave campus so you chose this frozen secluded lake to peacefully practice and enjoy your figure skating.

He watches you glide across the space, keeping elegant and controlled movements, hypnotising him into a trance. You build up a bit of energy, speeding up to push off into a quadruple jump winding yourself in the air. As you land, Azul let's out a breath of air, the warmth of his breath mixing in with the cold.

He slowly walks his way towards you, approaching slowly trying to keep up his business persona. His heart is beating fast trying to maintain his confident composer.

You note his presence, acknowledging him as you skate over closer to him with a small wave.

"Uh...t-that was rather impressive I must say." He says trying to stay calm. His cheeks are flushed in a light pink, if it's because it's cold or if he's blushing, you'll never know. "Are you not cold?" He asks a little concerned seeing you're not wearing that many layers, your jacket and belongings stranded off to the side of the lake.

Being the shady little businessman, he would offer you some ways you could promote yourself wanting to share your talent and profit off it. If you offer to teach him how to ice skate, he would be a little hesitant, he is horrible at fitness and athletic activities. But he would appreciate it wanting to bond over the activity, beware he'll be gripping onto you like his life depends on it.

Vil

Silver

This man here knows how to hold himself on the ice and to do so with grace and elegance. Elegance is his second name. Vil knows the basics, he's got some experience up his expensive sleeves. He knows a professional when he sees one, he knew you had some secret ability. He noticed your form and visible evidence of being trained in a sport. When he realises you're a figure skater he's intrigued.

You were on an empty ice skating rink practising your routine. Vil walks around the the perimeter, his gloved hand brushing the top of the boarder. He stops in the middle leaning slightly onto the edge observing you.

You see a familiar face looking over at Vil who is attentively watching you. He makes eye contact with you realising he's distracting you a little. "Don't mind me, dear" He projects. As you continue practising some skills or going over a routine he takes in your technique and line qualities. The way you carry yourself, your energy. He feels a sense of pride. He stands there tall and confident almost looking like a coach.

He puts on some ice skates making his way towards you. "You've got flawless technique." He compliments you, "would you do me the honour of showing me what you can do?".

You do want to make a good impression on Vil Schoenheit himself. You build up your energy stabilising your breathing, you perform a sequence leading into a quad jump. Vil remains rather stoic but with a soft look in his eyes. He's not as stunned as some other people would be but he feel admiration towards you.

He will share his opinion with you and ask for some tips and advice on some moves. Overall he's very supportive of you being a figure skater wanting to see more of your performances. He might as well film some of your combos or tricks. He is really proud of you and wants to see how you progress and improve even more.

Silver cannot skate himself, however he's seen some things like figure skating growing up in Briar Valley where it's cold. He is a very interested boy who wants to understand and learn when given the opportunity. When he sees you he remains calm quietly observing you. He will compliment you on your skills and will mostly be interested in understand how they work theoretically.

Silver was asleep near the woods like he does often (baby don't sleep in the cold!). He woke up surrounded by a few animals. One of the bunnies hops around almost asking Silver to follow him. Silver follows the small white bunny to a frozen lake in the middle of the woods.

He lifts his gaze seeing a familiar figure. He knows it's you, but what are you doing here in such weather. His knight instincts kick in feeling protective for you concerned you are in the middle of a frozen lake, that's quite dangerous, let alone you must be cold.

He walks down keeping a serious and stoic demeanour. You look over making eye contact as you continue skating. He stays quiet watching but feeling the need to tell you to get off the ice. "What if the ice cracks?" He thinks to himself. He can't seem to say anything he's very engaged in watching you continue gliding across the small lake, the blades of the skates leaving thin marks on the ice surface.

You continue going into a series of jumps. He thinks you look beautiful as you do that, you make it look effortless and easy. His heart feels warm at the sight of you clearly enjoying yourself, that this brings you peace and happiness. He doesn't have the heart to stop you.

You prepare going into a quad. Silvers muscles tense up, he subconsciously want to protect you in case you fall. He feels a sense of relief and fascination as you land coming out of the jump.

When you finish and move onto the edge of the lack back onto the ground he comes up. "You're really skilled" his comment is genuine but blunt. "However you shouldn't be doing that on a frozen lake, its dangerous" He says concerned. You insists that it's fine and the ice is thick. "Are you cold? Would you like my jacket?". Silver is in awe at the fact that you are a figure skater but he can't help but be protective and caring for your well-being.

I headcanon Briar Valley to be cold since it's based around European countries (Sleeping Beauty is set in Italy and the Character names have Italian, like 'Malleus' which is Latin, French even slightly Russian roots)

Ever since primary school, he never had a friend to rely on, always feeling lonely and not heard. Nobody ever paid attention to him, neither at school nor at home. His parents invested their time mostly in his younger brother’s education and hobbies, driving him to his after-school football practices and maths tutoring and leaving the older one alone most of the time. To feel at least a tiny bit wanted and liked he wrote about Jake, as his older brother he never had, but always dreamt of. Days spent alone at home started to get more bearable and gradually he couldn’t wait to be left with him and his new best friend, with whom he played football and who helped him with his homework.

Park Sunghoon | 박성훈

➶ girl who lost her confidence in sport

Injury is the worst fear of any athlete including her, but once it happens it turns out to be much more. She never even imagined a day she would have to experience the pain of a twisted ankle, but now daily rehabilitation has become her reality. Even after complete recovery, her foot felt like it belonged to somebody else, not listening to her like before. Things that she had been doing easily now were her biggest enemy. All eyes of her teammates were filled with pity, and even her coach stopped spending her time helping her, increasing her misery. What helped her ease her mind was a boy she imagined named Sunghoon, who was the only male ice skater among all the girls, they isolated him by whispering to each other and watching his every fall. None of this stopped him from mastering every jump and technique he found hard in his tempo. If he was able to do that, she would too, even after a painful injury.

Kim Sunoo | 김선우

➶ girl who always wished to have a boy best friend

She always knew boy-girl friendships weren’t particularly the easiest - it’s easy to catch feelings and not every boy is trustworthy enough to be considered a friend. That’s why she desired it so much. Her every male friend ended up being a freak who had a bunch of weird opinions, turned out to be even misogynistic, or simply caught feelings for her when all she wanted was to have a companion. The more she tried the harsher the disappointment. To compensate, she started to imagine one, who she named Sunoo. Hanging out with him was just as she wanted, maybe that’s why she spent so much time in her head. Both of them had their weekly tradition of doing face masks and watching old romantic comedies, judging wrong doings of the characters but also simping to them, just like it happens in movies.

➶ a grandma who lost her grandson

Nothing could ever prepare her to lose him, who just like cherry blossoms sweetened her old days with his pure smile and eyes full of curiosity, after years of endless winter. But, the thing about cherry blossoms is, it doesn’t last long. Her grandson, contrary to pink petals, wouldn't be back in a year, he would be gone forever. That pure smile and curious eyes disappeared, or should I say, were ripped off her arms so brutally, so pitilessly. Her life came back to the excruciating dullness and silence. She couldn’t stop thinking about how her lovely boy would grow up, what hobbies he would pick up, and who he was going to love, since he didn’t have a chance to experience any of that, subconsciously creating Jungwon, who lived surrounded by love and gave it to others. Who never lost his pure smile and curious eyes, just like her grandson.

Nishimura Riki | 西村力

➶ girl who always danced alone in her room

She always knew her destiny was on the dance floor. Even her tiny bedroom she had to share with her two younger siblings. Or the daily nagging and lack of support from her parents. Even the fact that she had to do that all by herself. None of that stopped her from doing everything to achieve her dream of standing on stage, in blinding spotlights with crowds watching her moves. Her main inspiration was Riki, a boy she imagined had the same dream as her. In contrast to her, Riki had everything she ever wanted and needed to make things easier - a family full of great dancers, who also owned a dance studio and great teachers and mentors from whom he learned not only different techniques but also to love dancing.

Quincy spent a lot of time at the skate park, even by himself. He didn’t really go for the people, or to make friends. It was his meditative downtime, working on his skating and doing something he loved.

But lately he’d started noticing another skate park regular - a girl he had seen from school. She was a good skater, and Quincy found himself quite interested in watching her… or checking to see if she was watching him. When she did, his stomach would do backflips, and it took everything in him not to mess up.

Eventually, after seeing each other around so often, he decided to just be brave and go talk to her.

‘You’re a good skater,’ he said, trying to seem cool and casual.

‘Thank, you’re pretty good too,’ she replied. To Quincy’s relief she was receptive. ‘Want to hang out?’

The pair spent the rest of the afternoon skating together, performing tricks and trying to secretly impress eachother. Quincy felt so out of place, hanging out with a girl - but in a good way. Her name was Kylie, he though she was cute, and he liked her. But would she like him back the same? How could he tell?

When they tired of skating Quincy offered up a joint and they smoked up together. Kylie opened up to Quincy about herself - that her parents were separated, her Mom was a bitch, she hated being at home and so spent as much time out skating as possible. Quincy tried to empathise, but he realised he didn’t have much to complain about - his Moms were great. So he invited Kylie back to his house to play video games.

It was weird having a girl who wasn’t his sister in his room - but life in a house as the only boy had prepared Quincy well for how to be chill. They could play games and hang out! It was fine!

Until Kylie suddenly made a move towards him, and Quincy didn’t feel like he needed to worry about being chill anymore.

💋 David 💋

Is a skilled fire arm shooter. (Loves the cowboy aesthetic)

Has his own gun hidden in the cave.

Doesn't get the chance too often, but will ride a horse when the chance arises.

Likes wood carving. Mostly non specific whittling into basic shapes or animals. It helps him relax.

Movie nut! When the boys go the Max's store to fool around, David makes sure to tuck a movie or two that catches his eye in his coat. Tends to watch them alone, all the questions from Paul would just grate on his nerves too much.

I imagine David would be like REALLY good at origami for no particular reason. He doesn't even try, just once the boys do it just because and he's just the best at it.

I don't know if vampires can emerge in water in the lost boys lore, but if they can David loves to swim. Chilling in water clears his mind.

💀 Dwayne 💀

Skater boi! Does a lot of sick tricks, but when you can levitate it's less impressive. XD

Doesn't care for guns, but likes archery. Hammers his own arrow heads. Dwayne and David like to pick a spot in the woods to shoot make shift targets.

A real book worm. Will spend a lot of time just silently reading for hours.

Takes up knitting from time to time. He prefers hand knitted blankets and throws rather then the store ones.

Likes to make jewelry. Made his own necklace.

Enjoys all types of puzzles. Cross word, jigsaw, and brain teasers.

Can sew and offers to sew up holes made in all the clothes the boys decide not to get new ones.

🌿 Paul 🌿

Can play the guitar.

Also likes to sing, and is pretty good at it. Wanted to start a band, but the other boys weren't up for it.

Has the biggest music collection and is always hogging the tabletop/cassette/cd player.

Amateur photography. Just likes to take photos randomly. Some are really artsy.

Got really into tie dye for a while. Although he might have just been high.

When he wants to relax, Paul really likes to stargaze. Laying outside the cave looking at the sky and hearing the waves of the ocean just makes him feel at peace.

When David isn't using the tv monitor, Paul enjoys quite a few video games. He also likes to take on the arcade and carnival games at the boardwalk.

🪶 Marko 🪶

Aside from pigeons, Marko will try to domesticate a number of animals to the cave, including stray dogs, cats, deer, badgers, squirrel, foxes, bats, and even a black bear once.

He in fact did NOT domesticate a black bear, but he did wrestle one.

He does his own patchwork on his jacket.

Like David, he likes to sculpt into wood, but he usually carves patterns and landscapes into more grand pieces.

He's also a skilled painter. Mostly he'll paint murals on sections of the cave David says is ok for him to paint on.

He collects sea shells on the beach.

He'll style the others hair. Especially David who he'll cut and dye in the way he likes best.

🔥Pack Activities🔥

Dart throwing. The bigger the target the better. David and Dwyane are very competitive at this one specifically.

Rollerblading. Put wheels on shoes, what more can you want?

Listening to music. The boys have very wide music tastes and sometimes they cross over and they all like the same stuff. They take turns around the player of their choice to just smoke, drink, and listen to the sounds of the music plays.

Card games. Specifically poker when they're all together. They make things more interesting when they make bets.

And of course motocycle cruising and board walk loitering.

Something that always strikes me with vampires in fiction and indeed with any immortal creature with the high and emotional intelligence of humans. IMMORTALITY IS FUCKING BORING!

I mean, think about it. Imagine you're given all the free time in the world with very little responsibility with no fear of getting sick or tired allowed to do pretty much whatever you want. What would you do? Cause I would go stir crazy. So I came up with these dumb little head canons on how I image the boys specifically would pass the time in their little vampire lives that doesn't revolve around murdering and feeding off of people.

Of course cruising on their bikes come to mind. And there's a couple in the movie we get to see like Dwayne's skateboarding and Marko's fondness for pigeons but I wanted to throw more possibilities out there. :3
