Look, I think we can all agree with the fact that abuse thrives in darkness. So explain to me why a 21 year old used the word pdfile and pronounce it exactly like that when we were talking about child abuse. Censoring the word does nothing. It literally took me several seconds to understand what she was saying. Clear communication is vital when someone comes or tries to come forward. It can be the difference between them feeling seen and heard and refusing to divulge anything. When you censor words like that in real life there can be consequences because you are obscuring information and hurting communication. Use the proper words. And if they make you so uncomfortable you can’t use them then maybe you shouldn’t be having a conversation that requires use of those words.

So I'm totally normal about this (<- bold faced lie) but

Whenever someone falls, and is injured or overwhelmed in battle, Sky is always the first one to notice and get there to help

He repeats these phrases:

"Oh no!" When he notices someone's in trouble and needs his help.

And "I've/We've got you!" When he's coming to help.

Here's 19,928 examples

Literally the first battle we see them fight together

Everyone else went after the moblin, and Sky went to help who got stabbed (revenge vs rescue, Skys got his priorities right)

When Wild got injured jumping in front of a sword for Wind

When Twilight got injured (he and wars got there asap)

When they were getting Twilight out and Lizards followed

When Legend was surrounded while the others were debating (again, priorities people)

We talk about how he's there emotionally for the others, but in battle? Sky will drop everything and go to who needs help. And he's truly the most reliable in tense battle because of that. He's teased for being slow/ low stamina/ sleepy, but the truth is he's the fastest swordsman, and if someone needs him? He's there. Instantly, he's there to help.

And I think that's pretty cool :)

tiktok's hype over harpy hare feels the same as their hype over too sweet when hozier release "unheard."

don't get me wrong, both songs are phenomenal in their own right (and props to harpy hare for encapsulating the unbridled joy of playing and performing with your friends only to learn years later what the nursery rhymes you'd sung were really about), but oh my god are the other songs overlooked. yaelokre is out here awakening wonder i genuinely don't remember ever being given space to have.

Hartebeest? adrenaline like running as fast as you can and rolling down hills.

And The Hound? haunting like campfire stories and realizing that a parent lied to you.

Neath The Grove Is A Heart? "foolish dreamer, be awakened," "how do i begin when the roof is ever changing?" i will never not weep to this song, it will play every time i do inner child work.

not to mention the story they're weaving? meadowlark is such a fucking rich world created through one of the oldest methods of storytelling and passage of a culture's history from generation to generation. and the dynamics between the members of the Lark, the found family of it all is so heartwarming i can't watch "meeting milestones" enough.

i don't know what happened in the fandom about "crickets" and whatnot? i just got here this morning, all i'm saying is yaelokre is a master storyteller, brilliant musician, and deserves the world.

Ik people usually have Artificer's other slugpup survive in an au, but I give you this:

While blue slugpup was messing around with pearls, green slugpup was messing around with spears, trying to be like their mother. Then boom, you know the story. When green falls into the water, they accidentally pierced themself with the spear they were so desperately holding on to. And then everyone's least favorite worm sees a spear in the possession of another creature and knows what it must do. And WOW green is yanked out of the water by their ear, which eventually tears open and leaves them on shore, somewhat safe.

Any thoughts? I just wanted to join the Arti slups live au train. I think I came up with something unique though! I'm going to try to come up with some more lore later.

Sleeping beauty !

"why is he is so pretty " You brush his hair out so you could see his face better

You had been awake for almost an hour. You should have already started your day but you didnt want to get up. Not with the pretty boy sleeping next to you.

Your boyfriend Ran was the most beautiful human being you had ever meet (other then you ofc🤭) but his beauty was tripled when he was sleeping. Its just the way he looked so peaceful as if he hadnt almost beat up all those people. And his "messy" black and blonde hair always looked so perfect.

But of course he is such a blanket hoarder . Sometimes you wake up at night feeling cold only to see that your boyfriend has taken the entire blanket all to himself. And when you complain about it he just denies it!

You fell back as soon as you notice that he was awake and smilling at you. You dont know show long you had been staring at him. You quickly tried to prentend that you sleeping which didnt work.

He started laughing "I caught you dont pretend to be asleep"
