This quiet murmur that falls from Nadia's lips is the first thing you hear once you wake up. Still bleary eyed and tired yet you welcome the sight of her vermilion eyes shining down with adoration. Affection gnawing at your heart, urging you to greet her. A smile ghosts your lips as you push yourself up on your elbows to place a gentle kiss on her lips. Nose brushing against one another as your low lidded eyes drinks in her beauty. She seems to be doing the same. "Hmm am I truly that breathtaking?" You joke while brushing a strand of hair away from her face. Not letting anything hide her beauty.

"Enough to distract you from all your fears and doubts?" You muse with a grin and she chuckles. Bumping her forehead against yours, hands slowly pushing you back down, and quiet as a mouse you let her do so. "Of course, my love, do you doubt it?" She chuckles at your silly questions. "You're more important than any of my fears or doubts. When I think of you . . ." A blush begins to dust her cheeks, eyes darting away. "I can't help but feel this deep-rooted sense of peace washing over me. As if everything will be okay once I find you again." A sigh of contentment falling from her lips when you pull her closer. With the date of the masquerade ball drawing closer and closer, you had witnessed firsthand just how stressful planning a big event really is . . . Of course, it's not like you were completely clueless about it before, it's just a different story when all of Versuvia must enjoy it. That's alot of people. So many demands and wishes. So many traditions to uphold, but many that serve as a warning. Overindulgence. Greed. Apathy . . .

Yet admist all of this, you find yourself admiring Nadia even more now. The hussle and bussle of the castle never taking your eyes away from her. Her attention to detail, her dedication to her job as countess and her quick decision making is inspiring to say the least. Isn't she amazing? Her ability to keep a cool and level-headed approach no matter the mess up only grew the admiration you had of her. "You really are magnificent . . ." Is what you'd often say to her. But she'd always wave the compliment off. "Not as radiant as you my dear." You can't say you agree with her, but her gaze leaves little to dispute. However, if there is something everyone can agree on . . . Is just how tenacious she actually is.

You just wish she didn't work herself to the bone. That she'd accept the help offered to her . . . Your help at the very least. But she doesn't, she never does. But what she can never quite fully resist, is a warm cup of tea and some alone time with you. She loves you even more for combining the two for your morning ritual.

And so that is usually how you'd coax her to stay in bed just a little longer. Cuddled in her arms or her snuggling into you is how most mornings are spent together. "Just stay five more minutes until the tea arrives pleaseeee Noddy!" . . . She knows your games but entertains them, nonetheless. Mostly because she can't help it. She can't help adoring you and all your silly little antics. Especially not when you insist of asking for biscuits as well so you can feed them to her and spoil her appetite for breakfast in the process. But she's not complaining. Why would she when your soft warm hands are holding her so close? Why would she when for once there is someone taking care for her? Just her and her alone~

Oh So Torn - [Itachi x Female Reader]

You knew the head of the Uchiha was intimidating. Even just being in the same room as him at clan meetings felt suffocating enough, but having him sit across from you, staring at you, feeling like he was staring through you, measuring you up and as much as you wanted to crumble, you sat tall you would show him you were someone worthy of his son’s affections.

���So we would like to extend to you an offer to join our clan,” when your father politely asked him to clarify, he continued, “by our heir’s marrying.”

Your breath caught in your throat in excitement and disbelief. Was this happening? Was everything you ever wanted right around the corner?

“Your lovely daughter.”

You could see it now your father giving you away, finally being able to tell the world how much you cared for each other, Itachi looking divine in his royal wedding robes-

“To our Sasuke.”

Itachi was as confused as you, but like the elite shinobi he was, he hid it better than you; if anyone bothered to look your way, you imagined they would see how hard you were breathing, how panicked you looked, could see your dreams that had so quickly formed in your eyes shattering.

“Sasuke?”

Fugaku looked right at you at your broken mention of your offered betrothed, his gaze somehow victorious.

“He is closer to your age than Itachi. So it makes sense, doesn’t it?”

That was technically true, but Sasuke was two years younger than you.

You stared at the side of your father’s face with a desperate intensity when the Uchiha head looked at him, expecting an answer. He didn’t know how you felt, how deeply in love with Itachi you were, how long you had adored him and worse of all, an offer like this made so much political sense with how small and uninfluential your clan was. Marrying into a family such as the Uchihas was like being handed the keys to Konohagakure, no questions asked. As a clan head, he had no reason to say no but more than he could count to say yes.

“We are honoured, Fugaku! We humbly accept your offer!”

How thrilled your father sounded only made him placing the final stamp on your broken dreams worse.

The emo kid in me will never, ever die. I know this is a pretty "standard" list, but my god do all of these albums hold emotion and memories for me. Close runner ups were Paramore - Brand New Eyes, Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree, Halestorm - A Strange Case Of..., A Day to Remember - Homesick, Avril Lavigne - Let Go, and any Rise Against album.

American Idiot was my introduction to Green Day and this album changed my whole view on music and introduced me to so many bands that I'm forever thankful for. Screaming St. Jimmy and Jesus of Suburbia during the Revolution Radio tour was cathartic.

Slipknot I actually found while playing Guitar Hero 3, Before I Forget immediately hooking me by the sound alone. They're still one of my favorite bands to date and whom I've seen the most in concert. (I think 6? It'll be 7 in September!) Snuff off of All Hope Is Gone still makes me cry, no matter how many times I listen to it.

It was so, so fucking hard choosing between Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade; the only reason I chose the Black Parade is because Famous Last Words will forever be one of my favorite songs of all time. Three Cheers is special to me as well, it was my intro album to MCR through MTV's Top 10 Countdowns after school (dating myself here tremendously lmao). The Ghost of You is also one of my favorite songs of all time, too, but I had the Black Parade on repeat for years. Seeing them on tour in 2022 was one of the highlights of my entire lifetime.

I sobbed the day Chester Bennington passed away, the entire commute home with their discography on blast. I still can't bring myself to listen to One More Light as a whole. It's one of my biggest regrets not seeing them live when I had the chance. I discovered Hybrid Theory first, but Meteora was an emotional attachment. I carried it around in my CD player at school for years (before iPods...again, dating myself lmfao) every day, along with Fallen. I burned through two copies of this CD from playing it so often. And so...many...Teen Titans & Naruto AMVs.

Evanescence, my beloved. Front to back, a no skip album. Whisper and Imaginary are still two of their best songs and I wish more people talked about them (no hate to Bring Me To Life, but you get it). Haunted as well.
