I usually avoid tumblr out of shame after a binge but I wanted to make a list of all the negative feelings that come immediately after and things to remind myself next time
I feel so physically uncomfortable
I feel ugly
My clothes look ugly
Stomach cramps
Teeth feel fuzzy
Gassy
Guilt and self hate
I feel heavy and moving takes more effort
I’m bloated
I feel like a failure with no self respect or control
I feel lethargic
I’m now in a shit mood and taking it out on people around me
I feel sick
I wasted money on mid food when there are 5000 things I’d rather save money for
The short term satisfaction was not worth it. It felt good for literally the few seconds the food was in my mouth and now I hate myself
The cravings will pass
Feeling empty is so much better than feeling full
Idc if you’re on your period. Grow up
F4st1ng/r3strict1ng feels sooooo much more rewarding
However hungry you are right now, you can wait until you get home where there is plenty of healthy food that won’t make you feel guilt
No, you don’t need to buy the box of snacks just to have on hand because you can practise restraint and only have one. You will eat the whole box. Save your money, don’t even go into the shop
I’m further from my goals than I was this morning
I had come this far without binging and now I’ve ruined my progress and have to start again
I’m terrified to weigh myself tomorrow instead of excited to see how much I lost
The longer i go without a binge, the easier it gets
The post binge clarity has me stressing the fuck out but what’s done is done, all I can do now is try to be better.

I’m doing the ABC diet starting tomorrow (15th Feb)
(it’s Valentine’s Day and I’m in love so I won’t be tracking cals today)
Rules:
Start from beginning if I make a mistake
Fast days can be 50 cal limit to include a ginger shot or a piece of fruit but only if I’m feeling unwell
Weigh in only every 10 days
If I have an event planned on a low cal day I can swap it for a higher cal day but still must not exceed
Post wieiads with pics daily
10k steps daily
2.5l water daily
Cardio on days of 400 or more
Im lowkey excited to see the result in 50 days and i need some discipline and structure so lets go 🤪

Idk if this will help anyone but this is how I get over 10,000 steps while having a full time office job without going to the gym
Found a carpark 10 minutes away from work, that’s an extra 20 minute walk each day = about 2,000 steps
If I can, I get to work a bit early and walk around the block before I start
Never take the lift
Get out of my seat at every opportunity and go to a different floor for water, coffee, and toilet breaks
Drink a ton of water so that I need to go toilet frequently
Walk for my whole lunch break. I’m lucky to get an hour for a lunch. I’m in the city centre so I literally just pick a random direction and walk somewhere different each day, 50min walk = about 5,000 steps
By the time I get home I’ve usually done about 8,000 steps
If bf isn’t home I’ll usually spend 20mins getting the last 2,000 in by pacing at home while watching Netflix or something (I would feel weird doing that while he’s around)
If he’s home we might go for a walk together, or I’ll go for another short walk on my own
If I can’t do either of those, I’ll try to get them in with housework, going to the shop or whatever errands I need to do
With housework, I’ll try to do it the most inefficient way possible lol like putting things away one at a time and making multiple trips from room to room and going up and down the stairs
I do go to the gym when I can but I treat it as a bonus and try to have already got my steps in regardless
Honestly, sometimes it’s just not possible. It’s hard as a busy adult if you also spend 8-9 hours sat at a desk. So, if I don’t make 10,000 during the week, I don’t stress too much because I’ll make it up at the weekend
I think it’s mostly common sense but there are little adjustments you can do throughout the day to get more steps in without having to do them all in one chunk okkkk hope this helps someone

I am so pear-shaped my thighs are huge I don’t think I’ll ever get a thigh gap ☹️ I don’t remember ever having one even when I was bmi 16
honestly i wouldn’t even mind as long as i looked skinny but the thing is i get chub rub and it hurts so i want a thigh gap so bad
like am I doomed to have chub rub forever even if I get skinny? What is even the point if I can’t wear shorts and skirts

I’ve started going back to the gym to do weights, nothing too crazy, I just think I will overall look better when I lose weight if I also try to be a bit toned
but oh my life the weigh ins are scary
I may have to fully go like 2 weeks without weighing myself just to let it balance out and not get too disheartened but that is gonna be rough
