The Belchers and their favorite Pixar movie

Bob: Ratatouille. Yeah it's the obvious choice but I think he will relate to Remy a lot. Linda: Up. She will bawl at the beginning of the movie and spent the rest of the movie sniffling. Russell reminds her of Gene. She also really like the movie Soul.

Tina: Turning Red. She can realte to Mei. She daydreams of being in their friend group and has written FriendFiction where she and Mei are friends. Gene: Coco. A movie about a boy who wants to play music? Love it! He thinks their should be more musical numbers in all of the Pixar movies.

Louise: Toy Story. She spent several weeks trying to sneak in on her toys after she saw the movie and are still not fully convinced they are actually not alive. A lot of (other people's) toys had to suffer to make Frankenstein toys like Sid's.

(Bonus Belcher) Teddy: Cars. He made his own car-sona with help from Tina. He doesn't think Cars 2 is that bad but would never say it out loud because he knows it's an unpopular opinion.

💋 That's SO Fetch!: What To Read After Watching Mean Girls

🩷 Good morning, bookish bats! I actually have a weird, complicated relationship with Mean Girls. After reading Queen Bees & Wannabes, my mother didn't let me watch the 2004 film, as if THAT would somehow protect me from the realities of middle and high school (WOW, feeling old writing this now).

👠 Yet somehow, I CONSTANTLY ended up around people obsessed with the movie (and we love Tina Fey, so, I can't blame a single person). Right before the mess of 2020, I even had the luck of seeing Renee Rapp perform as Regina on Broadway, and WOAH. New Descendants OC/Sona, Nicolás de Avalor !!

His full name is Nicolás Federico Castillo Flores, and despite his appearance he acts nothing like a royal. Because of his rebellious attitude and tendency to interact casually with Villain Kids, the court of Avalor wonders whether he is fit to take the throne once he is of age.

His main friend group consists of Wendy, Tina, Aiden, and Seghen; he also gets along well with Meredith (Red) but doesn’t talk to her much as Wendy has a strong distaste for her. He has the same powers his mother has, though he has more difficulty controlling them.

He doesn't have a significant other per-se, though the court has tried (and failed) to set him up with several princesses over the years. He flirts with almost all his guy-friends, though whether he's serious or not is a mystery to most.

okay okay so.. remember when i wrote this hobie fic and mentioned how i'd introduce my oc who's his friend?

well I lied. Bunny (the friend in question) is a black cat varient (idk why i didn't say that in the post) but anyhow. i do have a spider-sona and i wanna ramble about them and their relationship with their hobie varient as well as their earth and whatever. instead of Bunny bc im hyperfixated on them.

origin story (short version):

Doctor Olivia Canna was working on her experiment for years. The spider had the ability to create strong webs and a substance that could dissolve almost anything! and she lost it.. it had been months and she could only hope that the spider would find its way back to her. or still be close by.

meanwhile, Juniper caught a cold and couldn't sleep with her mouth closed bc of a stuffy nose. so while she was sleeping, the spider crawled into her mouth and took a trip to stomach acid town.

as the weeks go by, Juniper gets new abilities and with the help of their twin brother, Benny, they decide to use their powers for good! Juniper steals from big companies and gives all her findings to homeless shelters and the like. she steals tampons, pads, baby formula, diapers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, clothing etc! and sometimes they'll stop a crime or two.

Once Juniper's savings and stealings become more public, Doctor Olivia sends her most reliable 'friend' The prowler to go out and find this Jumping Spider.

A while ago i drew some concepts of my self insert in Mummies Alive. Her original backstory is that she was the reincarnation of a princess who died alongside the mummies trying to protect her cousin Rapses. Her current backstory is she is a night guard at the pyramid exhibition who comes into contact with a pendant belonging to a Nubian princess. Empowered by the pendant she becomes a bovine heroine and the "5th" mummy except she's a mortal. Mostly I made her so Nefer-Tina isn't the only woman on the team and have another human ally on Presley's side. She's not a reincarnation and only bares shallow similarities with the Princess.

Of course her color had to be pink. It's my favorite, it's unique to the team. Yellow and orange wouldn't pop out against the gold very well. My intention was to make it similar to the headdress Hathor is often depicted with but it only makes my sona look goofy. Her new helmet has the circle lay flat on her head. Also she was gonna wear a dark grey bodysuit underneath but I changed it to navy blue instead.

was tired of not taking advantage of clip studio paint nor trying new things in general, so i tried to take some risks and experimented with a cool perspective and some lightning effects. and the test subject was a silly idea i've had for a while: my sona, cosplaying as keroppi! i'm happy with how this turned out, hoping i can maintain a consistent level of quality now that i have better software

Abridged version: Soppy wet cat that's a less-than-average duelist, a coward who avoided most endgame battles, has beef with a demon living in one of her friend's soul bc they killed her while possessing her crush another friend and is the embodiment of these images:

Her name is Anita, my newest s.elf ins.ert oc in the y-g-o verse. Not as OP as other incarnations because she is in a sh.ou.nen this time, so I avoid making her too important.

As a character, she is the kind of person to do well in theory classes and written tests- but not so much in practice, which keeps the self-esteem quite low, leading to her choosing to stay back or go look for adult help in the more "end-game" battles. This, of course makes it so she never quite improves skill wise...

Accidentally ends up becoming an older sister (despite being just a few months older on average) figure to the core group, but is still childish enough to enable and partake in tomfoolery that isn't too dangerous.

Her d.eck's theme is centered about protection. She is too scared to put her life on the line for anything-- even her beloved friends-- unable to draw on it's full potential.

Until she literally can't run away from one of those world-ending situations her protag friend keeps getting tangled in. She fights a loosing battle knowingly, because otherwise someone else will, and she can't bear the thought of losing a friend to inaction. Not anymore. No more. No more fear, no more hesitation, even as your legs shake and you can't breathe properly- fight.

tl;dr: She is a coward, she loves her friends, she wants to help but doesn't trust herself, she can't live to the expectations of her deck, it took her being forced in a world ending situation to push past her cowardice and fight despite death staring right in the face, she lost, her death broke morale, she haunted the narrative, she came back, nothing will ever be the same, she is becoming braver, she loves her friends no matter where they are and go.

She crushes on the funky crystal lad. Doomed by the narrative from the get go because...gestures c'mon man I'm not blind that 3rd season is very 🌈.

A demon shakes her like a dog toy for their own amusement until graduation. Anita wants to swing at them but the demon isn't corporeal.

I'm having brainworms over her lately because it's not usual I deviate from typical heroic characterizations for my oc's or my sona's
