#tina deserves better

Matter of fact I feel like voicing my take on Tina and jimmy junior. I wish they kept him like how he is in the first episode we see him at tina’s birthday party. I mean you can tell he liked her genuinely. I’m not gonna sit here and say that he doesn’t have feelings for her or he doesn’t like her in general because I believe he does but he has a really weird way of showing it. Everytime I rewatch the show besides season 13 it just seems like he’s always annoyed or low key embarrassed by her. It’s sad because Everytime Tina finds someone outside of jimmy junior that’s when he wants to spill out his heart to her. Like Tina deserves someone who loves her for her. Since he’s one of the more popular kids he just treats her like a second option and it makes me mad because Tina steady throws herself at him. Like borderline creepy throws herself at him and idk about anyone else but jimmy junior is not worth it. Like he’s so bad to her a lot of times and it’s just like ugh. Like I been saying zeke would treat her so much better. Also it seems like jimmy junior likes zeke more than he likes Tina. Idk just my thoughts so make sure to keep it cute I will not argue over a cartoon but I will defend it lol. But to end it off I hope once Tina enters high school she’ll find her people, people who share similar interests so she’s not a tag a long for the popular kids that treat her horrible and I hope someone treats her with the love she deserves aka (zeke, Josh, or literally anyone else). My baby deserves love and acceptance.

This is like 10 years too late but the "Tina hits her head and dreams everyone is swapped" episode of glee was so annoying, first because it wasn't even an episode that "plot" was like 15 minutes long, and second because why would Tina dream up a world where everything and everyone relies on Rachel and her talent and come out of it thinking that Rachel is deserving of everything she wants? The world Tina dreamed up is not how Tina sees the world. If anything, it's how Rachel sees the world. Why would Tina dream of a version of herself (or Rachel as herself) who sees herself as small and incomparable to Rachel when Tina started her "plot" angry that that was how others were seeing her?

“And we're gonna fucking find Jaiden,” Bagi promised. “I'm going to track her down. We are gonna get all of us back guys.”

I’m back on Halloween brainrot and thinking about the “Thorn” movies and then the H20 movies, and going into that thin sliver of hope that somehow Rachel AND Tina had actually survived. If Rachel went into shock when Michael stabbed her and Tina managed to hold on despite her wounds.

I think about if they had lived knowing Jamie was kidnapped, if they tried to find her or if they spent years blaming themselves for failing her.

Then they find out she died.

Then they find out her birth mother was alive this whole time living under an assumed name with a different kid because she was scared of Michael finding her.

So what would it look like if these two women went to meet Jamie’s mother after she was institutionalized. These women who thought they had failed this little girl, who had been left behind.

I can only imagine how broken Laurie would’ve been at that point but I wonder about the rage that Rachel or Tina must feel on Jamie’s behalf. Would they pity Laurie or would they be mad at her as a way to feel less guilty about the suffering Jamie endured.

Jasmine: (Jumps back in alarm) “OH GOD WHAT IS THAT?!?

Hancock: (Also goes flying back in fear at the green monstrosity)

Nick: (Calmly at the two Drama Queens) “It’s a salad.”

Jasmine: (Dives behind a confused Danse) “WHY IS IT GREEN IT LOOKS LIKE THE DEVIL!!!”

Nick: “Just calm down, doll.”

Hancock: (Examines the offered dish) “Eh, she’s got a point. It looks like you shredded a Super Mutant then tossed it into a bowl.”

Nick: (Lowly) “You’re not helping.”

Danse: (Crosses his arms) “I don’t see the problem here, it looks fine to me.”

Jasmine: (Climbs onto Danse’s back like a monkey and peeks over his shoulder) “It’s staring at me!” (Points accusingly at it)

Danse: “It’s an inanimate object. I highly doubt it.”

Nick: (Dad tone) “Jasmine. I need ya to do me a favor and eat some salad.”

Jasmine: (Jumps onto the coffee table like a cat with her back arched) “NnnnnnNo! No, no no!”

Nick: (Heavy sigh) “Hancock, hold her arms. Danse, keep her mouth open.”

Danse: “Roger that.” (Picks Jas back up from the table and sets her down on the floor)

Jasmine: (Takes out her Murder Mittens) “No! YOU FOOD FASCISTS!!! YOU CAN’T-”

Hancock: (Holds the girls arms behind her back so nobody gets mauled)

Danse: (Keeps Jas from closing her mouth on his fingers)

Nick: (Starts feeding his feral daughter the salad) “Cmon kitten, work with us here…”

Jasmine: (Aggressively hisses and snarls) “AAARHGHFHFHFH!!!”

Hancock: (As he struggles to keep her under control) “Don’t let her bite you too hard, Danse. Baby sister gets a taste for blood, we’re gonna have problems.”

Jasmine: (Teenage grumbling as she folds her arms and sits on the sofa) “I can’t believe you made me eat salad!”

Nick: (Slight smirk from his spot next to her) “It wasn’t that bad, now was it?”

Jasmine: “No it wasn’t! It was tasty! That’s the PROBLEM!”

Nick: (Pats her head) “I’m sorry kiddo, it had to be done for the sake of nutrition and keeping ya healthy.”

Jasmine: (Grumpy kitten noises but she allows herself to be petted)

I just watched the episode of bobs burgers where Tina and Tammy are babysitting a little girl named Kendra. At the end Tammy, tells Tina she hurt her feelings about calling her horrible and that Tammy can’t babysit which was all true btw!! I was appalled that Tina actually apologized, on one hand I’m glad she apologized but the other made me so mad because Tammy didn’t apologize for trying to sabotage Tina throughout the episode. She’s such a fake person and it’s so hard to feel bad for Tammy. Tina has her moments but she’s literally the most humble tv character I’ve seen in that show and it bothers me that Tammy has really yet to stop bullying Tina. Anyway thanks for coming to the Ted talk lol.

What are your thoughts on The L Word if you’ve seen it?

I saw the original and the first few seasons were entertaining but I lost interest. I mean I watched it to the end but I wasn't really invested, especially those later seasons that went off the track. I liked Shane and Alice and Dana a lot though.

Not to say TLW wasn't good or meaningful or whatever but I never connected with it. That was probably mostly to do with its setting. Like it had this trendy, sleek LA vibe it was trying to project, which cool. But I kind of always felt more drawn to the working class setting of Queer as Folk. Everything was a little more dingey and real. Michael worked retail hell and Emmett had a series of unfulfilling jobs before finding what suits him. I remember when I first watched the show when I was younger I thought Mel and Lindsay were soooo boring but when I got older I realized how grounded they felt and appreciated them so much more.

So I'm not saying QAF is better or anything just that I connected to it in a way I could never connect to TLW because I could relate to the setting. For some people it might have been the other way around, to each their own.

Geneuary Day Nine: Robot/Jingle

This piece is sort of a collaboration with @br1ghtestlight, with the concept being Gene and Tina being absolute Autistic cuties and doing puzzles together!! ☺️

I kind of based this drawing off Tina's imagine spot in Gift Card or Buy Trying, where she imagined herself in the English Cottage puzzle. So I like to think that one day, Gene and Tina imagine themselves in some sort of robot puzzle. I realized way too late that the text is very hard to read. Gene is supposed to be saying, "Wow, T, no wonder you love puzzles so much. This is great. We should listen to Jingle in the Jungle while we work!"

Yes, I just had to sneak in Gene's love of Jingle in the Jungle from the episode Christmas in the Car. His love of that song just cracks me up every time. And it's an amazing song.

Glee -Tina rants about not getting a nationals solo 3x20

Rachel Berry is truly one of the most disgusting, self-righteous, and selfish Glee characters ever. I understand how her fans may admire her talent and ambition (I like those qualities as well and she does have her soft moments) but am truly bewildered how they can excuse all her awful behaviour.

I hate how Mercedes and Tina are demonized when they express valid frustrations with Rachel favouritism. Glee is a choir - meaning it’s a team effort. It’s not the “Rachel and her backup” group.

I watched this video and I remembered a user here on Tumblr said Rachel was the Anakin of Glee and I literally feel sick. The comparison is surface level at best. Anakin who was constantly rejected by the Jedi vs Rachel who gets everything handed on a silver platter (she was bullied, so what? who still got all the solos!!!). Rachel never faces any real consequences for her actions while Anakin suffered a fate worse than death when he became Vader. Rachel is not some super-talented chosen one. She’s definitely one of the best in Glee but she’s not THE best. Everyone in Glee has their talents and the group did well enough without Rachel as lead several times. So much talent in Glee was squandered because Rachel refused to share the spotlight.

Btw screw Mike Chang. This guy had the worst boyfriend moment in Glee in this nasty episode. Sure the other couples have cheated (what else is new in Glee) but Mike completely threw Tina under the bus. Tike was probably the healthiest teen relationship in Glee but the writers loved randomly using Mike to hurt Tina. Tina and Jenna deserved better.
