Meet Venus! Venus is a "coral glow", which is interchangeable with the "banana" color morph, ball python. Ball pythons are native to West and Central Africa - living in grasslands and shrublands. They are the smallest of the African pythons. Her color morph produces shades of yellow and orange with black speckles like a ripe banana.

hi ive been stewing on this ask for a while. truthfully i havent been able to answer it because ive been mostly rotting myself with nothing but rdr2, but its been a very fun one to think about. i hope you, anon, whoever you are, see this so long after you sent it.

reinhardt from overwatch is the first for no other reason than i think he would frankly be an absolute delight in an old western setting. he would be such a joy and have so much fun being able to run free on the plains. it's in character for him to join a renegade group fighting for what he believes is right anyway. hes robo racist in overwatch so hed fit right into the 1890s-1910s.

the unreliable crew from the outer worlds. they could be their own outlaw gang!! scifi and old westerns are only like two degrees of separation to me.. i think its incredibly easy to reflect all of the unreliable crew's backstories into the universe of rdr too. you can easily have parvati and max be from a company town all the same, groundbreakers just new yawk baby. stellar bay is a company town out in the middle of the desert thats been abandoned and the people have been making do on their own still. could have it be a ranching town if you wanna make it more pre established.. idk. SAM's a dog. thanks SAM. i mean, both games even share the character archetype of "debauched priest you help set on the correct path." i dont think this ones too much of a stretch.

handsome jack, timothy lawrence, and angel from borderlands. idgaf about the rest of them right now. look at me. i neeeeeeeed handsome jack and timothy to both be weirdly similar looking guys that have known each other their whole lives. and jack needs to be a prime example of the american dream, a worthless, abused nobody who nobody cared about, to one of americas biggest corporate successes. and timothy lawrence needs to not exist in the public eye much. and he needs to be off doing things wearing a pretty porcelain mask, handling jacks affairs hes too lazy busy to handle himself. why the porcelain mask you ask? its quite offensive to inquire, hes got quite the deforming scar dont you know. and by 1911 angel needs to be ruling her dead fathers company with the same ruthlessness he did with some man as her puppet. shes dyking it up in the background dont worry about her. i think she only wears mounrers clothes and refuses to marry because "no man will ever have her fathers approval" or whatever. and jack and dutch need to suck on each others faces or whatever. Hi! 👋

I’ve done a few photo-related things (LOTR terrain inspo and Colour series) as well as book covers and headers. Some of you will have noticed that I’ve talked about and use Unsplash a lot, and that’s because it’s an awesome resource that I firmly believe everybody could use. I’ve used it since 2015, and I will continue to sing its praises.

Tips and Tricks (that work for every website)

You can search

By theme; This is what I do for headers, book covers and moodboards. I define what the idea is, and then search things that work for that. For ‘The Shadow of Sorrows’ headers, I knew I wanted Cleia, Kalendora and Hamund on there, so I looked for ‘Fantasy Woman’, ‘Armour’ and ‘Warrior’

By location; For the LOTR terrain inspo, I looked up where everything was filmed and scoured through Unsplash for photos of those places and places I’d been I knew felt right.

By colour; This is what I did for the Colour Series, as well as look in the Wallpaper section, since I wanted mostly minimalist pictures.

By method; Say you are looking for some landscape inspo, but have no specific place in mind, you can always start by looking at the 'landscape' tag. It's always a good idea to work wide and refine your search as you go. You can try 'portrait' if you're looking for people inspo.

Grilled Portobello Mushroom for Two

Although this classic Antivan recipe calls for large portobellos, I can attest that there is at least one mushroom better suited. I do not know its name. I do not know what it looked like before it was cooked. But I know that, in a little cabin in a mining town just north of Wycome, an elderly dwarf served me slices from a mushroom the size of plate prepared in this way. They were newly arrived from Orzammar, where their family grew heirloom mushrooms, they told me with a sad smile. The cooking had turned the mushroom an unusual purplish red, which my host assured me was as it should be. And they were right. I can say, with all honesty, that I dream of that dish more than I do the finest Orlesian white truffles. Perhaps it's because I've had the good fortune to sample dishes with white truffle on several occasions, while, when I returned to the mining town the next year, the dwarf had moved on, and when I wrote to Orzammar I learned they had been the last of their line.

Ingredients

One large portobello mushroom

Two tablespoons of olive oil

One tablespoon of olive oil flavored with garlic and parsley

Salt

A tablespoon of finely chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Cut off the mushroom's stem and gently clean the outside. Cut the cap at a diagonal into slices a quarter of an inch thick..

Set your cast-iron griddle over a flame of middling heat. Put a tablespoon of the plain olive oil into the pan. When it is hot, put in mushroom slices so that they make a single layer.

Cook for two minutes, then turn them over and add the remaining tablespoon of plain oil. Cook for another two minutes

Arrange the slices in a single layer on a large platter and lightly sprinkle them with salt. Dribble the flavored oil evenly over then, and then sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
