Somewhere in the multiverse, there’s a version of KH3 where Sora and Roxas genuinely have to timeshare the body for at least part of the game; at least until they figure out a solution for the fact that they don’t want to share the limited resource of being in the same time and physical location simultaneously if they can help it. (There’s basically a fanfic/meta commentary about a fictional KH video game under the cut):
The other guy is always running a background commentary, so you really do have both Sora and Roxas at the same time. The “other guy” commentary and internal conversations are also used to flesh out the otherwise unspoken themes of KH3, which Sora isn’t comfortable talking about with others; such as the fact that he still doesn’t understand “love,” he cares deeply for Kairi but doesn’t want to split a paopu with her anymore, and sometimes he turns into a rage form of himself. You know. Normal teenage stuff. Roxas also openly comments on the fact that Riku now has a chronic wrist injury, that Roxas initially caused, but which probably sustained permanent damage following the Xehanort battle (since Riku fought while still injured, including using that hand directly to block a powerful and painful attack that was directed at Sora).
Anyway, there’s something really awkward about Roxas being in the same party as Goofy and Donald… the truth is, Sora is a very special person who can vibe with being in a battle party with literally anyone, including a cantankerous duck and a goofy single dad dog… so in this universe you’re allowed to periodically swap in Axel or Riku. Kairi, for thematic reasons, has a completely separate side story that the player is periodically looped into. This side story includes comedic scenes of Merlin being her mentor, and if you’ve seen the film, you know what I’m talking about. Her story is about letting go of preconceptions of who she’s supposed to be (like Wart thinking being a squire was the path he was supposed to be on) and coming into her own. In fact. In fact!! Our universe’s Square Enix team loves including plots that parallel or bring light to Sora’s journey, and this would have totally done that, as Sora is canonically hanging onto the facade of who he’s supposed to be with all his might…
Back to the battle party, Riku doesn’t like being around Roxas, and vice versa… it’s way too uncomfortable, given their history… actually, being around Roxas brings out some of Riku’s old negative tendencies of competitiveness and posturing (thus, bridging and transitioning between his KH1 and KH3 ways of behaving and thinking) but it’s also awkwardly funny enough that there’s of course youtube videos dedicated to documenting every branching/alternative cutscene with Riku and Roxas in it. (The Soriku fan videos also wax for hours about how Riku completely becomes so gentle and loving around Sora. Specifically Sora). Eventually though Roxas and Riku stop being painfully tense around each other, and Sora just about bursts from happiness that all his people can be happy together, more or less.

oh boy! i just finished the first ep of Hello Tomorrow! and the world and ambiance is so fun. almost none of you will understand this reference but it's exactly the vibe and aesthetic of my DECORUM world. basically, the future with a vintage aesthetic to it, self driving delivery cars with virtual ai cartoons in the driver's seat, everything has a slightly hokey happy dystopian feel to it but whimsy too, a company is selling timeshares on the moon promising you a better life but something about it doesn't quite add up. the lead is such a perfect smarmy charismatic salesman, he has me hook line and sinker.
possible spoilers b/c i'm theorizing now: my guess after finishing the first ep is that no one lives on the moon and they're not actually selling timeshares for it (alternatively, ppl do live on the moon but it's substantially smaller than earth and so they've run out of real estate on it but need to keep making money by selling timeshares even though theres no more houses to sell). i'm thinking maybe the world is over populated and they're chucking those who buy timeshares on the moon out into space to die. the lead guy seems to know more of the truth about the moon than the coworkers beneath him but i don't know if he knows about where the people go. he might. and maybe he's sort of okay with it because 1) he needs money to live and 2) as shown in the first ep, he preys on ppl at the end of their rope with barely any hope left, he probably imagines they're about to end it anyway and he's sending them off happy and hopeful even if it's a lie.

The aspiring supplicant isn’t a leader, businessman, conservative, hero, inspirer, achiever, or advancer.  But he is a telemarketer, so he’s in the right business.  Donald Trump appeals to the bloc that still has landlines.  The perpetual hopeful yells at another household member to answer.
Someone of Trump’s age who shares his distaste for learning anything new feels he is the voice of a generation.  The question of how anyone could still be falling for him is has the same answer as why timeshares remain a business.  This is the least slick seduction yet.
It’s hard to mock royalty while the least deserving family maintains power despite being wholly unqualified.  The junior Robert Kennedy remains the prototypical entitled brat no matter how old he gets.  A combination of leftist lunacy with lunatic conspiracies is the genie’s take on a challenge to the establishment as he laughs about the granted wish.  Privilege’s embodiment is paranoid about all the wrong things, which is such a Kennedy move.

Obama’s fourth term would be an ode to FDR.  A soft reboot is a hard prospect.  Running your life as a complimentary courtesy offered by the most compassionate of parties.  Democrats claiming they have new ideas hope you’re not into history any more than you are researching what happens when the Treasury prints too much cash.
Sticking with Biden even as the tumbleweeds take over in his skill is part of Obama’s sincere commitment to maintaining power. That’s just the start of selflessness for a former/quasi-current president who tirelessly wants to keep making your life difficult.
