Joining in Throwback Thursday to share this gem of a series from Seven Seas! 😍
Granted I didn't read it until this year, but I loved this manga so much! I've reread this volume at least three times and cried every single time! 😭🥹
A very fun time travel shoujo that I would recommend!

The story im writing about
As Trael traveled through time, he encountered many challenges. He faced creatures from other dimensions, navigated through space-time anomalies, and even battled time pirates who wanted to hoard time for themselves.
But Trael was determined to fulfill his duty. He knew that time was the most precious resource in the universe, and he would do everything in his power to ensure that it was used wisely. Every second mattered, and he knew that the fate of the universe could depend on how time was used.
As he journeyed through time, the Trael began to understand the true value of time. He saw how it could be wasted on trivial matters, but also how it could be used to achieve great things. He witnessed the birth of civilizations and the fall of empires. He saw the rise of technology and the impact it had on society.
Through it all, Trael remained steadfast in his mission. He retrieved lost time and returned it to those who needed it most. He became a hero to many, a symbol of hope in a world where time was often taken for granted.
Trael's adventures were not always easy. He faced many obstacles along the way, and sometimes he wondered if his mission was even possible. But he never gave up. He knew that the fate of the universe depended on his success.
And so, Trael continued his journey through time, always vigilant, always ready to retrieve lost time and bring it back to those who needed it most. For he knew that time was not just a resource, but a gift, and he would do everything in his power to ensure that it was used wisely.
Trael's legacy lived on long after he was gone. His name became synonymous with the preservation of time, and his story was told for generations to come. Trael may have been just one person, but his impact was felt throughout the universe. He was a true hero, and his story will never be forgotten.

Automate these 5 tasks using ERP Software
Tumblr media
ERP, or enterprise resource planning, holds great potential in today's data-driven, digitally interconnected business environment. ERP automation provides numerous benefits to corporate executives and planners, including increased efficiency and the betterment of business processes.
However, not every architecture of an ERP system is the same. In order to reduce the amount of time and effort required for routine processes, the most effective ERP automation solutions entail making certain workloads and tasks open for the rules of data governance.
Automate the 5 tasks mentioned below by STERP - one of the most reputed ERP software companies in India, using ERP Software, each of which has the potential to significantly reduce labour costs for an organisation. If you're wondering whether or not to automate some ERP system features, consider all these advantages.
1.  Workloads
ERP software may automate a wide variety of tasks. Workflow and approval diagrams are a great place to start. Making use of a flowchart is possible. Auditors can examine the smooth flow of a company's processes as they progress through their many steps and procedures. The benefits of automation can therefore be realised by implementing an ERP system with careful consideration given to typical results and workload variations.
Recurring audits are also useful in this context. Further analysis of workloads is required to determine where this automation may have the most impact and how to best incorporate it into current practices.
Keep in mind that not all workloads are created equal, especially when it comes to the business process as well as automation solutions. Assessing which workloads are the most delicate and which may be automated is a key part of the appraisal process.
Workloads, like data security, can be evaluated individually for automation of ERP systems based on factors like their location in the architecture and compatibility with cloud and on-premises systems.
Analysis of ERP features like these is useful for automating tasks and getting systems closer to their "desired state," as defined by experts. STERP (formerly known as Shanti Technology) ranks among the top ERP solution providers in India that can fulfil all of your ERP software requirements.
At the end of the day, ERP systems can be integrated with other programmes that aid in the exact automation of individual jobs.
2.  Financial Planning and Forecasting:
Financial planning and forecasting are two other areas where an ERP systm may be of great assistance when automated.
Most companies struggle with cost forecasting, and creating accurate predictive budgets is a challenging process.
Budgeting software that includes a repository for approvals is, thus, an invaluable tool. Estimates can be automatically entered into budget workbooks as part of an ERP system's automation. The following forms of estimation are available to planners:
Percentage estimates
Statistical averages
Amounts of Fixed ballpark
Predictive planning is aided by assigning monetary values to approval tasks. Organizational resource planning (ERP) systems often incorporate access management as well as an identity feature, allowing for granular control over user access based on certain roles within the company. That way, the appropriate people may reap the benefits of automation while still receiving the financial information they need to make informed decisions about budgeting and forecasting in the future.
3.  Tracking Expenses:
This is yet another procedure that requires a lot of manpower at most companies. Someone needs to keep tabs on staff and employee spending, and either approve or reject expense reports for things like trael, meals, as well as other unusual expenditures.
People seeking to expense various items to an employer and the examination of the department of HR that is trying to limit the approval of expenditure are frequent targets of comedic depictions on television. Not counting the cost of a new pair of headwear or a classic automobile as an investment in the company's future is one such example.
Still, this is another area where ERP software can really shine. Rather than having a manual review of expenses, automating this process and setting standards for data governance relieves some load from human review employees. The use of automation tools provided by ERP software developed by STERP which is popularly known for manufacturing ERP software in India is highly useful.
When an ERP tool detects an expense request that is more than a specific amount, it can immediately refuse the request and transfer the data into a graphical accounting system. Human assessors will have an easier time seeing and comprehending it this way. The "digestibility" notion is an integral aspect of the corporate transparency afforded by today's ERP system configurations. If you can observe things with more clarity, you'll be able to put them to better use. This is something that is considered by developers of software at all times.
Easy and effective problem-solving in the realm of spending tracking is guaranteed by having access to the relevant data in real-time.
4.  Payment Automation:
The accounts payable department is another area where firms can benefit from ERP automation and ERP features.
In addition to paying employees, businesses must also pay their vendors and suppliers in a timely manner.
Contractor processing is an integral part of this kind of automated solution. Businesses that distribute tax records may interact with a diverse group of third parties, including consultants. Generated documentation may be required of anyone selling a product or service outside of an employee relationship. Most high-level executives have experienced the stress of trying to complete all tasks before tax season. This is a common stumbling block, and there are typically difficult logistical hurdles to overcome. If you are looking for one of the excellent ERP software providers in India, STERP is the best pick for your needs.
Once again, the imaging and visual representation of payments facilitate their resolution and tabulation.
5.  Data Reporting and Visualization:
ERP automation handles a wide range of tasks, from payroll to product creation to invoicing as well as accounts payable, allowing firms to become more nimble and efficient. Data is commonly referred to in the business world as "business intelligence," and having that insight presented visually can have significant benefits.

Love You Forever
Be My Valentine Content Creation Challenge Day 9- "Are you tired yet?" "Of you? Never."
Hosted by: @xxsycamore and @chaosangel767
Fandom: Ikemen Sengoku
Character: Motonari Mouri
No warnings, pretty much just fluff. Hint of spice at the very end.
Love You Forever
I sat on a stool on deck, sewing a new piece that was to be delivered to a vendor when we arrived at our next port. Motonari was standing at the navigation table talking with Hiroyoshi and few others of his crew. Though I tried to completely focus on my sewing task, my eyes couldn't help but to be drawn to Motonari, stealing glances at him every so often.
The way he looked in the glimmering sunlight, skin slightly damp from the sea air. The way his hands would move, gesturing to some place on the map or gesturing to his crew. I watched him give out orders, threatening to throw anyone who dispbeyed his orders overboard. Though I doubted he really would and his crew knew it, too.
I couldn't help but to smile as I sat observing everything while I sewed. I loved observing Motonari and seeing what he was like. I loved discovering all of the different sides to the man I loved. And I surprisingly loved being on the ship, travelling the world. I found it funny that I was doing more travelling in the past than in my own time, when traeling is easier and faster.
The day passed by quickly, soon giving way to night. I had finished my commission hours ago and now I stood, leaning over the railing, gazing out over the ocean, looking at the stars reflected in the wayer. I felt two arms wrap around me from behind. "What are ya lookin' at so intently, m'lady?"
I smiled as I leaned back into Motonari's embrace. "Just thinking how beautiful the view is." I answered.
"I was thinkin' the same thing." Motonari replied, though he was looking at me and not the ocean.
I felt my cheeks redden. It was funny that this man, who could say some of the crudest things, could also say some of the sweetest.
"So, did ya gte yer fill of watchin' me today?" He asked, his tone teasing.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I replied, my cheeks reddening further. I was likely to be able to light up the ship if he kept going like this.
"Don't act like ya weren't lookin' my way every so often, watchin' me while ya worked on yer sewin'." Motonari countered. "I felt yer eyes on me."
"So...what if I was? Huh?" I replied, turning around in his arms. "You got a problem with me watching you?"
"Just as long as ya ain't expectin' a big show." He teased.
"Oh? Says the man who was all about putting on a big show." I teased right back.
Motonari shook his head, though he wore a small smile. "I just don't see how you can even find all of this every day stuff so interestin'." I could see a hint of some hidden emotion in his scarlet gaze.
"Because it's you." I answered.
"Ain't ya tired of me yet, flower girl?" He asked.
"Of you? Never." I answered, honestly. "I want to continue getting to know you and spending the rest of my life with you, loving you."
Motonari's cheeks seemed to redden ever so slightly. "Ya just had ta go and say a thing like that." He muttered.
I was about to retort when his lips captured mine in a heated kiss. His arms which were wrapped around my waist, pulled me closer as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Our lips melded together as our tongues came out to play twisting and tangling.
When we finally broke for air, we were both panting. Motonari looked at me his gaze all fire and hunger. "I hope you got plenty of rest today 'coz I ain't lettin' you get any tonight."
I smiled at him. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
He was then scooping me up into his arms and carrying me below deck to his cabin. He did indeed not allow me any rest that night, but I enjoyed every moment of the pure blissful pleasure he brought me as he showed me just how much he loved me.

Subtle, feat. Matthew Tkachuk
Tumblr media
Warnings: Smut, Jealousy, Edging, Rough sex
Length: 3.1k
Inspiration: I was actually inspired by a line in @jasonmorgan96‘s Meet The Parents with Vince Dunn. I almost used Vince for this fic, but Matthew fit much better.
To say your boyfriend hated your neighbor was an understatement.
A major understatement
Like, a wow understatement.
But you couldn’t really blame him. They were exact opposites. While your apartment neighbor, Will, was clean and put together, Matthew was wild and untamed. Whereas Will had has hair clean cut and slicked back, Matthew let his curls run wild. Will strutted around in J. Crew and Banana Republic, Matthew lived in sweatpants and ath-leisure. The differences went on for ages.
But the biggest difference was that you were dating Matthew and not Will. And this was a difference Will seemed unwilling to accept.
See, you and Will were a lot alike: Academic, intellectual, scholarly types that didn’t take up a lot of room in front. Your boyfriend, on the other hand, was a loud, in your face, take up all the air in the room type of man. And you adored him for it. Your totally contrasting personalities fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. While you brought peace and serenity to his life, he brought intensity and fire to yours.
It was this intensity and fire you felt in your belly that Friday night, his fingers digging into your hips, his hips strong against yours, his teeth sharp on your throat. You giggled as you both stumbled into the elevator of your apartment building, his strength enough to keep you both from falling to the floor. Pulling his head up, you took his mouth in a kiss that quickly turned hot as he took control. The two of you collapsed back against the wall of the elevator, mouths still fused. It was when you felt his calloused hand pulling your floor-length dress up your thigh that you dragged yourself away.
“No, no, no. No, sir. We were late for the last event. We will not be late for this one.”
Matthew only hummed in feigned compliance as you wiggled out of his grip and leaned forward to press the lobby button on the control panel. You barely made the reach, as he still had his hands firmly on your hips, which were cradled back into his own.
“They’ll understand. Especially when they see you in this dress,” he purred against the shell of your ear. You rolled your eyes. “Of course they’ll understand. They’ll understand so well I’ll hear about it for the next two weeks.” You could practically hear Matthew beaming with pride behind you.
Before the elevator doors could close, a hand shot out from the hallway and they parted again. You immediately felt Matt stiffen behind you, his hands tightening on your hips as Will slid into the elevator, his eyes narrowed judgmentally. Since you believed in keeping peace with your neighbors, you cleared your throat and smiled cordially.
“Hi, Will.”
“Y/N. Where are you headed this evening?”
“Oh, the Flames are having an event.”
“Again?”
“Yes, they have quite a few.”
“How...humanitarian of them.”
Jesus.
A few months ago, Will would have been your type. But since you started dating someone as open and unashamed as Matthew, you could better see a guy like Will for what he really was: condescending, judgmental, entitled. He never missed a chance to remind you that he thought you could do “better.” Though he never said this in as many words.
You should come to this new cafe with me. I’m sure you’re long due for a stimulating conversation.
While I can’t push a puck around, I can read Shakespeare and Balzac.
No amount of money or fame can replace a college education.
Jackass.
You replied before Matthew got a chance. “Yes, I certainly like to think so. They love to give back. What are athletes without the people who support them? Oh, here’s the lobby. Have a good night, Will.”
Lacing your fingers through Matt’s, you all but dragged him out of the elevator toward the front door. He fell easily into step next to you, your fingers still laced together. “You should let me beat him up in the parking garage one day.”
You let out a very unladylike bark of a laugh and brought his hand up to kiss him on the knuckles. He responded with a kiss to the crown of your head and a not so subtle squeeze of your ass as you made your way to his waiting car.
By then end of the night, your boyfriend had you dying for him. Soft, teasing touches under the table, deep kisses snuck when no one was watching, and filthy words of promise whispered in your ear made you so on edge you were dragging him out the door by the end of the night. His hand rested dangerously high on your leg the entire ride back to your apartment, his fingers only just brushing the seam of your thigh. You fidgeted desperately, trying to pull his hand where you needed it, but he wouldn’t give in.
As soon as you were alone in the elevator he was on you, his hands shoving your dress up so he could grip your thighs and hoist you up between his body and the wall. You grunted when your back met the metal, but it was muffled by his mouth over yours. The kiss was deep and wild, everything you had been holding back the entire night. It was everything that was Matthew. The ding of the elevator at your floor had you pulling apart reluctantly. As you stumbled out of the elevator you ran right into Will rummaging through his satchel at the door to his apartment. He looked up, eyes narrowing at your unkempt appearances.
“Oh, hi, Will. How was your night?”
“It was good, thank you. Very productive. How was your night?”
“It was great.”
“Yes I can see that.”
Before you could reply, Matthew opened his big fat hockey mouth. “And it’s going to get a lot fuckin’ better. Good night, Billy.”
With that, he pulled your key out of your hand, deftly unlocked your door, and dragged you inside.
“Very subtle, Matthew,” you scolded him drily, hoping your voice relayed at least some displeasure at his childish behavior. Unfortunately, his hands at your waist and mouth at your neck were making it difficult to hold your ground.
“Wasn’t trying to be subtle, princess,” he murmured against your ear, his chest rumbling against your back as he squeezed your hips and guided you toward the bedroom. You groaned as his lips moved from your ear down your throat to nip at your shoulder. His hands were also roaming, skimming up your sides to tug at the back zipper of your dress.
“Actually,” he continued. “I don’t want to be subtle for the rest of the night.”
“Wha-”
You yelped as he twisted you around and shoved you not ungently onto your back on the bed. He was stunning as he towered over you, eyes hooded in the darkness of the room.
“I want you to be loud  tonight. Can you do that for me?”
Unable to deny him anything, you wordlessly nodded, still speechless at the sheer sight of this man that was yours.
“Hmm, good girl.” With that, he dropped to his knees, hooked his arms beneath your legs, and dragged you to the side of the bed. Shoving your dress to your waist, he buried his face between your legs. The sudden heat and pressure of his mouth made you cry out and buck against the feel. Collapsing back, you arched into the touch. He hadn’t taken off your panties, and it was torture to feel the pressure of his tongue against you, but not inside of you.
Pleading his name, you shoved your hands through his curls, both pulling him closer and pushing him away as the pleasure built. When he finally pulled your panties aside and curled two fingers inside of you, his name was a sharp cry, your back arching off the bed. Just as you were about to tip over the edge, he pulled away.
“Not yet, princess. It will be so good when I let you come. So fucking good, baby.”
Whimpering, you reached for him, but he was shoving your hands away and grabbing at the neckline of your dress. He ripped it off in one quick motion, having unzipped it a few moments before. Your panties came with it and you were bare to his eyes. When you reached forward again, he let you make quick work of his own clothes, his hands just as urgent as yours as you tore open his shirt and shoved aside his dress pants.
As he stood naked before you, cock hard against his stomach, you couldn’t help yourself. Moving to the edge of the bed, you wrapped your arms around his waist and laid kiss after kiss over his chest, nipping here and there with your teeth, worshipping him. His hands were in your hair, pushing you closer as a loud moan of your name left his throat. You could imagine his face: head tipped back, tendons strong against his throat as his eyes fluttered shut and his mouth opened in pleasure.
You felt his cock twitch against the skin of your chest and his hand was suddenly at your neck and shoving you down onto the bed. You felt his grip on your throat trael between your legs and you nearly came, but his voice was pulling you away again.
“Not yet, baby. You come with me inside you.”
Before you could object, he was moving over you, a knee coming to the side of your head, the other coming up beneath your arm and under your shoulder. One of his hands had fisted his cock. “Suck me off, princess.”
You did as you were told, greedily accepting his cock in your mouth. He groaned long and loud, his body pitching forward until he had to catch himself with one hand against the bed. You ran your nails up his thighs to his hips, digging them in hard as you took him as far back as you could. This drew a long, strangled moan from his chest and you whimpered in need. His other hand went to the back of your head, digging a strong grip into your hair and forcing your head forward.
The pace was rough and desperate as he fucked into your mouth, his hips snapping forward until he was hitting the back of your throat at every stroke. You welcomed him every time, giving him complete control to take whatever pleasure he wanted from you. You could only hold on, let his hold on your head dominate every movement you made. Words of filthy encouragement dripped from his mouth and you opened your mouth wide as you felt his cock twitch.
But before he came down your throat, he was yanking your head back and pulling away yet again. You collapsed back onto the bed, gasping for breath.  Before you could raise your head or even open your eyes, you felt the heat of his tongue lick a long path up your pussy. Groaning out his name, you thrust your hands through his hair in welcome. But he was gone again the next second, the strength of your hands incomparable to his.
“Do you have any idea how fucking gorgeous you are like this?” He purred against the mound of your pussy before laying a gentle kiss there. “So fucking wet and wrecked for me. God, such a slut for me.” You could only whimper in reply as he kissed his way slowly back up your body. Your pussy throbbed at the soft brush of his cock, but it was gone again in the next breath.
His next words were murmured against your throat. “Who does this to you, baby? Who makes you this fucking wet?”
It took a long moment to find them, but your words left you on a rush of breath. “You-you do, M-Mathew.”
He hummed in approval against your throat before taking your mouth in a rough tangle of a kiss. You groaned again and collapsed back against the bed, wrapping your legs tight around his hips. No matter what he did, how far he pushed you, the pleasure he dragged screaming from your body, his kiss felt like sanctuary every time. The two of you stayed like that for a long moment, relishing the warm intimacy of the kiss before he was flexing his hips and biting hard at your bottom lip. You yelped in pain, but then squealed in surprise when you were suddenly moving off the bed and through the air.
Your back met the headboard so hard you grunted. Matthew’s body was hot and hard against yours, pressing you back until you could feel the tension of his muscles with every deep breath you took. You leaned forward to kiss him again, but he clapped his hand over your throat and shoved you back against the headboard.
“Matt...”
His hand gripped your hip and lifted your body up slightly. You gasped against his mouth as he pushed just the tip of his cock into you.  Your pussy clenched reflexively, but he was pulling out again to the sound of your strangled sob.
“What do you need, princess?” he growled against your lips. “Tell me what you need.”
“Matthew, please. I can’t-”
You yelped again as he slapped your ass hard. “Tell me.”
You struggled to find words as he pushed in slowly again, only slightly deeper than before. You both inhaled at the pleasure, bodies moving as one.
“You, Matthew. I need you. Please. Please-”
He pulled out again, but was quick to push back again, his own need reaching a breaking point.
“What do you need? Tell me exactly what you need, baby.”
“I need to come, Matthew. I need you to come inside of me. Please. Please.”
He chucked against your mouth, shameless in his knowledge of your desperation.
“Whatever you want, princess. But be loud for me. Scream my name fucking loud.”
As he pulled out and slammed in to the hilt, you did just that, screaming out louder than you ever had before. His hands flew up and one of them manacled your own wrists to the headboard, dragging your body up until you had to sacrifice all control. His other hand went to the top edge of the headboard and held on tight. With every thrust against you, he slammed the headboard back against the wall.
Let that little prick hear whose name you screamed. Let him hear every slam of that headboard until he couldn’t think of anything else when he so much as saw you.
Your orgasm was shattering when you finally came, more powerful than any you had had before in your life. Your body sagged in his grip, but Matthew wasn’t done. He pounded into you until he reached his own climax, pulling out and thrusting in so deep you could feel him in your throat.
When he let go of your hands and let his own body relax, you sagged against him, collapsing as you struggled to catch your breath. He held you gently, murmuring praise into your ear as he stroked your hair.
When you finally regained some composure, you laid a hot, wet kiss to his throat, a silent thank you for the pleasure. He groaned and tilted his head to the side in compliance. When you felt his cock twitch in renewed interest, you flexed tight around him.
HIs next words came only after a strangled groan. “Not yet, baby. You did so good for me. We’re going to rest a bit.”
Before you could argue, he wrapped an arm tight around your waist and moved you both to lay down with your heads against the pillows, his cock still inside you. Your bodies more than enough heat without the blankets, you snuggled into him and let out a small noise of content and drifted off to sleep.
He woke you up twice more that night, dragging you on top to ride him and then putting you on your knees, head shoved into the pillows as he pounded into you from behind. The next morning, you could barely move, grimacing as you pulled yourself into an upright position.
“You okay?” Matthew’s voice was tired and raspy. You looked down at him and your heart fluttered like a teenage girl’s. He was beautiful next to you, unashamedly naked and taking up every inch of air in the room. You also didn’t miss the glint of concern in his eyes. Not being able to help yourself, you leaned down and pecked him on the mouth. “Yes,” you reassured him. “But you need to feed me.”
He grinned against your mouth and pulled his own body up and out of bed. You couldn’t help but glare at his retreating form as he sauntered to the bathroom. He was used to throwing his body around like a wrecking ball. You were not. You were going to feel last night for at least a week.
As you began to get ready to go out for breakfast, you caught a glimpse of the wall behind your headboard. You squawked in anger and disbelief as you took in the state of your wall.
“Matthew!”
He poked his curly head out from the hallway, his toothbrush hanging out of his mouth.
“What?”
“Look at my wall! It’s fucking dented!”
The cocky bastard didn’t even try to look ashamed. He looked unbelievably proud of himself. “We did good, babe.”
Grabbing the closet object - an UGG slipper on the floor - you lobbed it at his head. Of course, he ducked back into the bathroom just in time.
“You’re paying my security deposit,” you hollered over your shoulder as you stomped to the other bathroom.
When the two of you made it out of your apartment, who should you run into but Will. Who did not look happy. He got one glimpse of the two of you and his jaw set in an angry, judgmental line.
“Good morning,” he greeted you frostily.
“Mornin’,” Matthew replied, a wide smirk on his face.
You felt your own face flush a deep red. God, the two of you had been loud last night. And Will lived in the apartment right next to your bedroom wall. If you were rough enough to dent the wall, you were loud enough to keep him awake.
As Matthew was about to say something else, the three of you turned your heads as a tiny old lady hobbled out of the apartment. You and Matthew both stood in stunned silence.
“This if my widowed grandmother,” Will explained with a tight voice and a frosty glare. “She stayed with me last night.”
You gaped and looked up at Matthew, who had turned a concerning shade of white.
The little old lady took you both in before her face broke out in a big brilliant smile. She reached out and patted your cheek. “Good for you, sweetheart!”

They think it's odd the Mia is there all the time when no one else's partners are but?? he's the talent?? The entire reason they're on these trips in the first place? I think they forget that they work for him, even if they are all close friends. Most celebs bring their partners with them for things like this. that doesn't mean everyone is able to have a +1
The ccc still hasn’t figured out -or acknowledged- that the reason we see Mia is because we are looking for every post and mention of Darren and stalking their friends. We don’t do that for any other celeb- but if we did, we would see their wives and their teams.
Tht looks to me like they made a decision after Scream Queens that Mia would open a bar which would allow her to travel with him whenever possible. They are really lucky.  I cannot imagine anyone turning down such a great opportunity. Besides the beautiful places they get to see and the cool people they get to meet, they get to spend time together.
Yes, Ashley, Eleni, Ricky and Michael all work for Darren and when their skills are needed, they accompany him. Ashley is with them because they went to Italian and Paris Men’s fashion week.  Ashley and Darren have gone to various Men’s fashion weeks for many years.   Nobody is “babysitting” Darren. Darren employs them, they don’t have control over Darren...but as my last anon said, they hate the idea that Darren and Mia are spending time together so they fabricate stories to suggest there is a babysitter to make themselves feel better-calm the anxiety.
These aren’t in order but are pics of Darren and Ashley at various Men’s Fashion Weeks- NY, Milan, Paris and a few of Chadwick Boseman and Ashley because Darren isn’t the only client that she traels with.

AU where Ylisse isnt from another worldnbut is just a country on another continent and the reason the Trio hide their names and appearances had nothing to do woth Anonkos at all and everything to do with the potential repercussions of having two Prince Inigos, Prince Owains, and Lady Severas existing at the same time with one group being older than their younger counterparts because Awakening was still a thing that happened and tome trael is a secret to pretty kuch every one who wasn't involved!
That could definitely make sense! It’d be so interesting to see the repercussions of Nohr and Hoshido existing in a world where Grima took over as well. It would probably be Ylisse’s problem, mainly, but since there’s the need for the Future Kids to go back in time in the first place, I would have to assume Grima’s rule would have spread to the other continents eventually. Would Hoshido and Nohr have put their conflict aside sooner to fight a failing war against the Risen? Or would they have both been destroyed because of their inability to mutually work toward the greater good? Would they have not even realized a problem in a halidom so far away as Ylisse before it was too late? In any case, changing the names and appearances of the Trio to make sure no paradox happens/nobody gets called a liar for being into places at once (and the wrong ages) makes a lot of sense!

Conculture notes on Gotevians/Gotêvi...
Kind of headcannon-y, cultural notes about Gotevians (and Gotêvi itself). Some are kind of generalizations (obviously not all people of X nationality are like Y), but still might help to give a general feeling to the people...
Reincluding this moodboard about Gotêvi:
Tumblr media
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Education is very important to Gotevians. Many believe it should be government-funded, but they are unlikely to have this wish fulfilled en masse. There is a limited amount of publically-funded education for children, but only in and around cities.
The sentiment is widely held that domestic and personal life shouldn’t be undermined by political or professional career.
The Gotevians take utmost care in making their homes as neat and aesthetically pleasing as possible.
Most tend to be quite formal when interacting with new acquaintances or strangers. If they are over 40, they probably use the title of respect meliarenwhen addressing peers in formal situations.
Despite how dearly they’d like to keep up the pretense, they really don’t care much for the Lomi on a social and cultural level, despite their historical and political alliance. They secretly think the Lomi are slightly unstable and backwards, though most Gotevians far too diplomatic and tactful to admit it.
Gotevians admire the ethereality of Bayën art and culture. They might view it as an escape from the mundane of their own society, or they might be drawn to the elusive and mysterious nature of the Bayë in general.
Despite its flourishing economy, Gotevians of the middle class make nearly all of their clothing and many grow a lot of their food, except for their exotic imports, such as various types of foreign spices, fruits, cloth, and precious gems and metals.
Gotvians love to wear linen, silk, and cotton. Often, to appear sophisticated, some might wear many thick layers of silk in the winter instead of wool. Wearing canvas or leather is considered pretty rugged, unless one is from the south of Gotêvi (which is a southern hemisphere place), where it gets really cold. This is where the Teg and Phul peoples dwell, who are culturally and ethnically distinct.
Most speak at least one other language apart from their their native regional Gotevian dialect. These may include Lomi, some language from Ei, the “standard” Gotevian dialect (though they don’t consider it as much another language as a different social register, or even something as exotic as Tosi (if you’re considerably cultured). If you do know Lomi, they generally only use it when they have to, and thus it’s a bit rusty for most people. More people speak Ori than speak Lomi. Gotevians like to trael to the Quariosian territories of Ei, and Ori is widely spoken there, even though Orikrindia is an independent state.
Cow’s milk is considered disgusting to drink. Goat cheese and milk, however,     are standard foods in some places.
The mainstream ideal appearance for a man or woman is a slender, moderately tall of build, grey eyes and a pale face. Long hair and fingers are a plus as well. Overly muscled physiques generally don’t improve things.
Dancing is a favorite hobby, and most Gotevians consider themselves good at it and do it often.
The classically ideal number of children to have is 1-2, but most people are “unfortunate” enough to have more. But for royalty, this is desirable.
If your spouse dies, a Gotevian probably won’t remarry for quite a while, at least legally. If they separate from a spouse or partner, they often stay single for a long time afterward. Quickly remarrying is considered unwise and “looks bad”.
It used to be customary for males to undermine females in terms of royal succession, but this has been elimianted from law.  On a day-to-day basis, gender roles in Gotêvi are fairly loose, compared with some other cultures in  Aeniith.
By law, one can only have one spouse at a time.
May Gotevians have a slightly hard time understanding that there actually are people who believe in the concept of fate. As a culture, thy regard societies that believe in it at large to be bizarre and illogical. It viewed as primitive and dangerous.
The majority of Goetevians are not overtly religious. Some believe in some elemental spirits, but they do not worship them. Some people have some social ties to a local temple, priest(ess), or religious group, however, such institutions and persons are generally considered enigmatic and worthy of tacit suspicion.
One bathes every two days. Infrequent bathing is considered unpleasant, but over-frequent bathing is considered to be bad for the body. The environment’s too arid for that in any case.
Gotevian culture considers language arts to be the highest form of non-visual art, closely followed by drama and music.
It is popular to have a cat or ermine-type creature that lives in one’s house and which fed.
Those under approximately twenty-five who are member of the upper-middle-class, often depilate all the hair growing anywhere below below the eyelashes, regardless of gender. It’s considered to be a sign of cleanliness and consciousness, despite the fact that the older generations consider it to be silly and fastidious.
Regular nudity is proper only for the highest classes and possibly the lowest, depending on where one lives. Brief or practical nudity (such as occurs with changing clothes, public bathing, or working in hot weather) among the middle-class is acceptable, however.
Rape is a greater criminal offense than murder, and is punishable by 30 or more years in prison. Capital punishment was abolished under Gotevian rule in the year 403 E.K.
The kitchen is the largest room in the Gotevian house, unless one is wealthy, in which case, the main “all-purpose” nɛxivan room is.
Only children wear ankle-length socks. After the age of fifteen or so, thigh-length stockings with decorative garters are worn, except in the summer when most people wear long, light clothing to keep the sun off and to keep their legs cool.
Wearing shoes in a house that’s sufficiently heated is considered pointless and uncomfortable. It is polite to remove the shoes before entering a house, especially that of a host.
The only women who wear their hair up on their head are servants, manual workers, and queens.
All members of royalty and the higher nobility wear cosmetics in public, except small children.
It’s considered inappropriate for non-noble young people to wear heavy make-up in public places, unless there’s some kind of festival, ceremony, or something of the sort going on.
If someone becomes seriously ill, they can be fairly sure the local governmental services will pay for any advanced treatment, unless one is a proven criminal.
The majority of the populace is an artisan, farmer, or a working artist.
Many people have a large, soft, intricately designed rug on the floor in the main, non-kitchen room. It’s almost always an old family heirloom, and is never, ever walked upon with anything but meticulously clean or socked feet. If one has young children or infants, they commonly sleep on it.Sometimes adults sleep there as well during the middle of the day, when it is hottest, or at night by the hearth when it is cold.
When a person dies, their belongings, legally and traditionally, go to any surviving children, and are divided equally among them.
If one lives anywhere outside a large city, they have to prepare every summer for the possibility of wildfires.
Soft curls on either gender are considered very attractive, especially long, soft curls.
Those who live in one of the major port cities are often well-traveled and cultured, taking trips to Ei and even into Elta.
Staple foods include bread, vegetable or grain-based porridge-mash, or rice. Meat is reserved for special occasions. Many people grow vegetable gardens and herbs.
Young females between the ages of eleven or so to seventeen often keep bundles of lavender, mint, or rose petals in a chest of personal items to keep them from smelling stale.
Cane sugar is rare and expensive. Honey is usually used to sweeten food.
The idea of a strict patriarchy or matriarchy is disturbing to most Gotevians.
Many people of the lower and middle classes collect berries, nuts, roots, and edible flowers and leaves in the summer and autumn.
Gotevians tend to value serenity, sensitivity, and introspection.
Many people living outside large cities build their own house and live in the same dwelling all of their lives.
Most people don’t have a personal bathing room at home. If they live in a decent-sized town, there are public baths. Otherwise they use streams, lakes, or rivers.
The idea of theocracy is foreign and considered primitive by most Gotevians.
Most people wear silver more than gold, and not because it’s more abundant; it’s considered more appealing.
Most Gotevians count on living for about 90-100 years, yet they are deeply concerned about their mortal nature. It is not appropriate to discuss death or dying in polite situations, even euphemistically.
The typical Gotevian maintains a reserved, stoic, almost innocent public image, but are often more worldly and cunning than their appearance.
If one has the resources and money, most Gotevians conclude that there is no excuse for having an aesthetically unappealing living environment. Rich people who have no taste are considered pathetic and contemptible.
There are two meals taken per day: one in the late morning and one in the early evening. Gotevians drink lots of nourishing liquids through the day including herbal teas, fruit juices, and various elixirs that help keep up their health.
Symmetry is considered more aesthetically appealing than asymmetry. This is the biggest Gotevian gripe with Lomi art and fashion: it is seen as too chaotic and unbalanced.

Issue Thirteen
Almost 100 episodes of a classic TV show are missing (and so is this squirrel's scarf)!
Subscribe to Sincere, Positive Things here!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before anything else, let me make this clear: it doesn’t matter if you care about Doctor Who for today’s thing. The long-running science-fiction show is background; today’s thing is about the short-sightedness of the past, destruction to save money, searching through international archives, and creating beautiful tables of sweet, sweet data. Okay, Doctor Who. It’s about an alien who looks like a British person, traeling through time in a telephone box. It’s been going for more than 50 years. Now, what happens when we talk about something as disposable as television, particularly television produced by the frugal BBC, we start to lose some pieces of history. You see, the BBC didn’t think about the future. Especially as color television became the norm, they didn’t think people would want to watch a show they’ve already seen, so why bother letting it take up space in their archives. So, they wiped the tapes. And for a while, nobody cared. Then home video came along and people realized there was money in old TV shows. All of a sudden, Doctor Whos from 1963 were in huge demand. Thus began the Doctor Who Restoration Team. This group scours old film collections across the globe, looking for copies of the 97 remaining lost episodes. Sometimes copies were made and shipped off to other countries to be aired overseas. Audio recordings have been found of all the missing episodes, recorded from the telly by superfans. Piece by piece, a ton of stuff thought lost forever has been discovered and released to fans. (Just check out this list of what’s been released and what’s still missing) And sometimes, some big swings are taken. Today, the BBC is releasing a recreation of a missing episode that was created by a bunch of college kids at University of Central Lancashire on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel. It’s not the original, but was meticulously made, and probably the best we’ll ever get.

The more I say about this short animated film, the closer I'll get to ruiing the experience of watching it, so let's keep it brief:
It starts cute, then quickly shifts.
It's gorgeously animated.
The always great George Takei narrates.
It makes you think. Maybe too much.
Enjoy!

Ask même : 88, 72, 53 😄
53: Do you save money or spend it?
Both ? Tho I save more than I spend since I’m not a big buyer. Except books but I always manage to find not too expansive prices. The only thing I don’t make restrain is food as in quality, fresh stuff and everything. But since that’d be one of my sole expanses unless one or two films a month, it’s alright.
72: You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live. a) Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? b) What do you do with your remaining days? c) Would you be afraid?
a) Idk. I’ve never really asked myself this question. I’m torn between not tellng to spend my remainig days as usual with no pity or forced rest. And torn between telling so my loved ones can prepare themselves.
b) No idea. I’d try to trael, visit stuff. Spend as much time as I can with my loved ones.
c) Idk. Easy to say no now that I’m in good health. I really don’t know.
88: If you could press a button and make anyone in the world instantaneously explode, who would it be?
Oh, idk either. I’m not really that much violent toward anyone. Unless it’s a nazi. So yeah, a nazi.

Olympic History (Part 1): Europe and the Ancient Olympics
Baron de Coubertin's 1892 speech was what led to the establishment of the modern Olympic Games, beginning in 1896.  But it wasn't the first time someone had suggested it.  In 1833, Panagiotis Soutsos, a Greek nationalist, published Dialogues of the Dead, in which the ghost of Plato spoke to the Greek nation, which had recently gained its independence from the Ottoman Empire.
Where are all your theatres and marble statues?
Where are your Olympic Games?
Soutsos wrote to the Minister of the Interior, suggesting that they revive the ancient Olympics and hold them every four years, with four rotating host cities – Athens (the new capital), Tripoli (in the heart of the Peloponnese), Messolongi (a resistance stronghold during the war), and the island of Hydra (which had provided naval forces that had been essential in fighting the Turks).  Olympia was not an option – it was a ruin, with only a few walls and columns left, and covered up in silt.
For the last three centuries, European had been reinterpreting and reimaging the ancient Olympics, in various forms and for various causes, using its imagery and language and even staging their own Olympic Games.  Soutsos' idea was tied to the Greek nationalist cause, but there were many others.  Soutsos, however, was the first to call for an actual revival of the games, and Coubertin was the one who made it happen.
The usual history of the Games says that the Roman Emperor Theodosius I banned the games in 392 AD by an edict.  Over the next two centuries, Olympia was destroyed by fire and neglect.  In the 400's and 500's, earthquakes and river flooding broke down most of the site, and buried it deep in alluvial silt.  The remains of the buildings were scavenged for stone, and the metal braces & dowels that held the columns together.
However, Theodosius' real target was pagan practices, in particular Rome's old polytheistic state religion, with its temples, sanctuaries and oracles, and its offerings & sacrifices to the gods.  His edict was not fully enforced, as the army was dealing with a civil war, and also a border war with the Goths.
So the Games probably continued on a lower level, and gradually petered out, due to the hostility to its religious practices & associations.  A Byzantine historian called Lucian (date unknown) wrote, “The Olympic Games...existed for a long time until Theodosius the younger, who was the son of Arcadius.”  This suggests that the Olympics finally ceased under Theodosius II, around 436 AD.
George Kedrenos (1000's Byzantine chronicler) says that the huge gold & ivory statue of Zeus had been taken from its temple at Olympia to the palace of Lausas (in Constantinople), and was destroyed in a huge urban fire around 475 AD.  By then, the Olympian cult was already dead.  Lucian continued, “After the temple of Olympian Zeus had been burnt down, the festival of the Eleans and Olympic contest were abandoned.”
Earthquakes and river flooding in the mid-500's finished it off. However, recent analysis of sediments suggests that tsunamis sent massive waves up the Kladeos River (which runs past the sanctuary). The silts are too thick to have been caused by the river alone, and marine micro-organisms have been found in them.
In the 1500's AD, translations and editions of Greek & Roman texts began to become more widely available in Europe.  For example, in England, in the last quarter of the century, translations of Homer's Iliad, Plutarch's Lives of the Noble Greeks and Romans, and Herodotus' Histories were made.
The Iliad gave an account of Patroclus' funeral games at the wall of Troy, showing that athletics could be a sacred rite.  Plutarch's Lives told of Alexander the Great's Olympic career.  Herodotus wrote in his Histories that Olympic champions received glory, but not cash prizes: the Persians cry: “Mardonius, what kind of men are these that you have pitted us against?  It is not for money they content but for glory of achievement!”
Later on, Pausanias' Description of Greece gave detailed first-hand accounts of Olympia and the Olympic Games.  (Pausanias was a geographer during the 100's BC.)  “Many are the sights to bee seen in Greece, and many are the wonders to be heard; but on nothing does Heaven bestow more care than on the Eleusinian rites and the Olympic games.”  Europeans at this time didn't quite know why the Olympic Games were held, or exactly why there so important, but they did know that they were extremely important.
This is shown in two of Shakespeare's plays.  In Henry VI, Part 3 (1591/1592), Prince George is trying to rally his Yorkist troops:
And, if we thrive, promise them such rewards
As victors wear at the Olympian games.
In Troilus and Cressida (1602), the elderly Greek Prince Nestor is describing his Trojan rival Hector in battle:
And I have seen thee pause, and take thy breath,
When that a ring of Greeks have hemm'd thee in,
Like an Olympian wrestling.
Michael Drayton (1563-1631) was one of 33 contributors to Anallia Dubrensia (published 1636), a collection celebrating Robert Dover's Cotswold Games.  He hailed Dover as the “great inventor and champion of the English olimpicks.”
Dover was born in Norfolk in 1582, as part of the Catholic gentry.  England was under the rule of the Protestant Elizabeth I (died 1603).  He was educated at Cambridge, and practised law at Gray's Inn at London for a while.  Then he retreated to his small country estate.
He began the Cotswold Games in 1612. They were held in the natural amphitheatre formed by Dover Hill in Chipping Camden (west England), as an act of local patronage and national politics.  Although rural contests & fairs were very common at the time, with local patrons quietly supporting them, the Cotsworld Games were much larger.
There were sports and contests with cash prizes, but also feasting, dancing, games and gambling.  A fake castle was set up on the hill, where a large crowd would gather to watch horse-racing, hare-coursing, wresting & shin-kicking, stick-fighting, and hammer-throwing.
Tumblr media
A woodcut of the Cotswold Olimpick Games, originally published on the cover of Anallia Dubrensia (Annals of Dover).  Dover is on horseback, holding a wand.
Dover would introduce the games dressed in the cast-off clothes of King James I (reigned 1603-25), as a deliberate celebration of his rule, and his attitudes towards popular pastimes and games.  This was a very political act, as puritanical, harsh forms of Protestantism were steadily rising, and they opposed this sort of thing.  By the 1630's, puritan landlords & gentry were banning fairs and games on their lands, and closing down rural fairs.
In 1642, the English Civil War broke out, and in 1645 the Puritan Roundheads defeated the Royalists. Dover died in 1652, and the Cotswold Games stopped.  When the monarchy was restored in 1660, they were revived, but the olympick reference was gone, and they were “just another country drunken festival”, even though they remained popular and enthusiastic.
Olympia still had a place in Europe's literary imagination and popular culture.  In 1667, John Milton published the first edition of Paradise Lost, in which he described the flight of Satan's hordes as:
Part on the plain, or in the air sublime,
Upon the wing, or in swift race contend,
As at th' Olympian games on Pythian fields...
The French philosopher Voltaire visited England for a short time in the early 1700's.  He wrote about a sporting festival on the banks of the Thames, “I fancied that I had been transported to the Olympic games.”
Friedrich Schiller (1759-1805) was a German polymath during the Enlightenment era.  In his Aesthetic Essays, he used the ancient Olympics as an example of “play as an element of the beautiful”.
In 1786, a “burlesque imitation” of the Olympic Games was held, with women competing to have the ugliest smile.  They were “placed on a platform, with horses' collars to exhibit through”, and over their heads was painted: “The uglies grinner shall be the winner.”  The prize was a “gold-laced hat”.
In 1794, The Times reported a chariot race at Newmarket (Suffolk), between Nanny Hodges and Lady Lads, with a prize of 500 guineas.  It was described as “something like a revival of the Olympic Games to supply the turf gentry and the rapid decay of horse-racing.”
Of course, these last two examples were nothing like the ancient Olympics, and there was more information about them by this time.  Gilbert West's Dissertation on the Olympick Games (1749) and Jean-Jacques Barthélemy's Traels of Anacharsis the younger in Greece (1778) were the two best accounts, and were based on a far more scholarly reading of the ancient sources.  But popular usage & culture didn't care much about that.
For the next half-century, popular knowledge of the Olympics came more from the circus than ancient sources.  Even into the 1850's, Olympic spectaculars and re-creations on horseback were performed – Pablo Fanque's travelling Circus Royal (Britain), Madam Macarte's Magic Ring and Grand Equestrian Establishment (Edinburgh), and Franconni's Hippodrome (New York), for example.
Pablo Fanque was the first black British circus-owner.  His “unrivalled equestrian troupe” offered “new and novel features in the Olympian Games.”  Posters for Madam Macarte's circus stated that “the Extraordinary Evolutions of the Gymnastic Professors will forcibly recall to the Classical mind the old Olympian Games.”

The most ambitious Olympic revivalist was Colonel Charles Random, but he was also the least successful.  He came from uncertain social origins, and had an even more uncertain military career.  He bought the extensive grounds of Cremorne House in Chelsea (western London), and in 1831 created “the stadium” – its full title was “The British National Arena for Manly and Defensive Exercises, Equestrian, Chivalric, and Aquatic Games, and Skilful Amusing Pastimes.”
In 1832, he proposed the staging of his own Olympic Games, and again in 1838 (to celebrate Queen Victoria's coronation).  But nothing came of it.  For the next few decades, the stadium was used for the fairs and spectaculars which were the norm for a slightly risqué Victorian pleasure garden.
