I sort of hate that all the posts about 'The Prisoner's Throne' is about Jurdan. I mean I love them and all, but it's Oak's and Wren's book and they aren't appreciated enough. And Hyacinthe and Tiernan are criminally underrated.

Ok The Prisoner's Throne broke me, but you know what was the funniest part of the entire book?

Oak being the noisiest bitch in the entirety of Elfhame. That boy was always listening!

When he accidentally listened in to Jude and Cardan's private conversation in the prologue and in the end when Jude was with Cardan while he was recovering. LITERALLY EVERY TIME HYACINTHE AND TIERNAN WAS INTERACTING!!

No because he was INVESTED into Hyacinthe and Tiernan's relationship! Boy was carrying the entire fate of Elfhame and his relationship with Wren on his back for the whole book but damn him if he didn't give couple counseling to his otp any chance he would get! And he was always eavesdropping into their conversations!
