ppl on tik tok and twitter having a meltdown that adrien brody talked about antisemitism in a later speech after his golden globe win for the brutalist and a lot of the comments say “make a movie about palestine” as if there isn’t currently in theaters a documentary about palestine.

i cannot express the level of cognitive dissonance going on in the comments of videos i saw of the speech. instead of complaining about jews in film how about going to actually watch the Palestinian film in theaters? it's called from ground zero and it's by 22 palestinians in gaza throughout the current war.

i think im frustrated by the amount of complaints against jews in cinema from people that aren't actually aware of what's even in theaters or what critics are watching and recommending. is it an antisemitism issue, media literacy issue, or just general ignorance? i have no idea, but i don't like it regardless.

Hello! Maybe it's a dumb question but I was checking your insta and noticed you have a disclaimer to not use your designs unless buying a tat ticket. How does that work tho? If someone were to do it regardless there's no way for you to know.

(ps: I'm not planning on getting a tattoo but the question popped up in my mind. Also I absolutely adore your art bye:3)

Obviously there's no way for me to know when my art gets used without permission, and I'm sure it happens 99% of the time. But I get like 5 comments a week from people asking if they can tattoo my art, to which my answer is no, unless they get a ticket from me (aka pay for the usage fee). My art is not free to use. Of course people will steal it regardless, but anyone who has at least the tiniest good will and intelligence to know art doesn't fall from trees will pay for a tattoo ticket, it doesn't cost much, especially for someone who can afford to make a tattoo
