As much as I dislike the Windsors, man, what a fascinating article to read. For those who are also iffy on the British Royalty, the article is about the foreign royals invited to the event and some of them are a) hot as fuck and b) wearing gorgeous jewelry.

Also I sent this to my mother, who loves all things royalty regardless of who or where, and she was DELIGHTED. We agreed the Queen of Eswatini is wearing what mushrooms would look like if they were a dress, but also that it's a gorgeous dress and she's wearing the hell out of it.

I was bummed to discover the Crown Princess of Greece brought a clutch shaped like a book rather than bringing an actual book.

(Michaelis brought a book to Gregory's coronation. Well, the thing is HOURS long and he was seated where nobody could see him. It was Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.)

Royal jewelry is an insane rabbit hole to climb down -- the last time I was looking up royals, because my parents decided to switch allegiance from the British to the Norwegians, who are more attractive and less....Like That, I found this messageboard that I still check regularly because it's fascinating.

2024 has been a jam-packed year of events. I've found myself and lost myself so many times this year, But honestly, those moments led me to this moment—right here, right now. After not writing anything for so long, I found my spark for writing again this year. I’ve gone through god fucking knows how many hyper fixations this year alone. I got back into kpop this year as well; after taking a bit of a hiatus from it for a year or two.

Looking at my tumblr archive is insane. And I think some of you would enjoy seeing the progression into brain rot. So, here we go!

January starts with a continuation of my mortal kombat phase. Seeing the amount of fics I wrote for this media is insane. My 2023 kinktober compared to my 2024 one is a stark contrast. There may also be some COD stuff sprinkled in there as well and honestly, that makes me want to rip my eyes out.

February is still part of the mortal kombat train with some love and deepspace stuff placed here and there. It’s still mainly mortal kombat because that fixation had a very strong chokehold on me.

March is still part of the mortal kombat stuff but with resident evil stuff thrown into the mix too bc re4rm came out. Hints of genshin stuff too. Oh and milkman. March had a lot of little bits and pieces thrown at it. This just shows how versatile my taste in characters is (no, it’s not. Im basic more often than not).

April, aka my birthday month!! Anyways more mortal kombat. Oh yeah, boops were a thing for a day. Ooh, more milkman stuff too.

May was where the clusterfuck of fixations came together. Early May was still mortal kombat, some spiderverse stuff thrown in there as well, some stuff about Midas from fortnite too, some jjk fics and such, etc. Now… May 6th was my first official reblog of ateez content after coming back from my kpop hiatus. It was actually the ‘boyfriend texts w/ jeong yunho’ from @beenbaanbuun !! Then slowly I started reblogging more ateez stuff, both from other writers and my older posts as well. The rest of the month was full of ateez fics and whatnot.

*Side note; May 12th was the start of my return to ateez writing with ‘sweet as sin w/ yunho’

June was filled with only ateez posts and reblogs. By this time I was on summer break so I had a lot of time to myself. A lot of horny reblogs and shitposts.

July has significantly more reblogs and posts than other months bc I’m pretty sure I was really getting back into ateez and stuff and the brain rot was getting worse by the day. Still contains mostly shitposts.

August was when the dilf hongjoong brain rot was in full effect. I also posted some pretty good fics this month too. Such as;

October was kinktober month and let me tell you I loved writing these fics. You can find my complete kinktober list here!! Dilf joong is still keeping me occupied and the fixation is now slightly worse. Oh yeah, silent hill 2 remake came out around this time so I wrote some fics for that too. Pyramid head made a short-lived comeback on my blog with the remake as well as reading some kinktober fics of him too.

November was shitposts upon shitposts. So many horny postings it’s insane. IOMT comeback happened and wreaked havoc across social media platforms. Tumblr atinys were in shambles I can tell you that much.

December was still more horny postings and reblogs. If there’s one thing im good at, it’s reblogging and reposting shit at ungodly hours.

But overall, this year was full of memories. I got to interact with so many amazing writers and readers this year. There were a lot of anons that I got to interact with. I just can’t get over being able to connect with so many wonderful people. I want to say a thank you to everyone who followed me and stayed with me even through the chaos.

All the times she lied about the BRF, the family of the UK's head of state. (US government officials will prioritize the US/UK special relationship over the whines of one single woman.)

The time she was NFI to the US/UK state dinner, held at Buckingham Palace. (It was explained as maternity leave but yeah, she wasn't invited. If she was frothing at the mouth to wear a tiara in Fiji, she would've done the Trump State Visit for a tiara.)

All the times she hasn't been invited to the White House for state dinners or advocacy since 2021 since she has COVID vaccinations, motherhood, and supporting military veterans/families in common with Jill Biden.

The times the White House sent the Secretary of Transportation, the NASA Administrator, and other not-well-known government officials to represent them at 2022 and 2023 Invictus Games.

The time Nancy Pelosi's office laughed when a reporter asked them about Meghan's political prospects.

The time she aligned with the unimportant side of the Kennedy family (versus the "real" Kennedy).

And that's just the stuff that's been confirmed. We haven't even scratched the surface of the alleged gossip (like her work to lobby Newsome for Feinstein's recess appointment or her manipulations of Gloria Steinem).

So all that considered...makes one think that the establishment doesn't like Meghan and won't engage with her. Which says a lot about her standing in political Washington.

She loves the idea of Washington IG in theory, but she's gonna hate it once she's here. And that's just the dignitaries attending the ceremonies. We haven't even started to talk about the weather and what the humidity is going to do to her appearance (since the brief sounds like it's going to be a spring/early summer event).

Le Bal 2023

Le Bal des Débutantes is tomorrow and I'm very excited that V Muse will be the official jewelers again. We usually see a tiara or two at the event but last year was amazing because they choose an estate jeweler with a huge historical collection instead of a company making new jewelry. As far as I can tell V Muse currently has ten tiaras in their inventory and I hope to see several of them worn by this year’s participants.

I would have thought that costume was inspired by Wanda’s second hellfire gala dress, but upon review idk why I thought that bc they’re pretty different (the thick twisty tiara and gold details like the belt, maybe)

But in my attempt to see that look I noticed most places have her looking pale. I know that was what the cover initially looked like, but I thought it got recolored before it actually went to print? Do you have any idea which version is the actual cover? No worries if not, this is obviously a really pedantic question

For context, we're talking about this variant cover for Doctor Strange (2023) #5, which was illustrated by Dustin Nguyen, showcasing Wanda's design for the third, and final, annual Hellfire Gala event. The version on the left was originally posted by Nguyen and Marvel, and circulated by various news outlets, and as you can see Wanda is extremely pale. This issue came out during the run of Scarlet Witch (2023) and a full year after Dauterman's redesign of the character debuted in the previous Hellfire Gala event.

The image on the right is recolored to give Wanda a more accurate skin tone, keeping her on-model with her official design. I'm 99% certain that this is the version that was actually printed and sent to retailers, but I can't verify that because I've never actually laid eyes on a physical copy. I had refrained from ordering this cover specifically because of the whitewashing, and I didn't find out about the recolor until after the fact. I think it was done pretty last minute, and a lot of retail sites still display the original version, which is definitely confusing. But the recolor is the version that's shown on the Marvel website, so for all intents and purposes, I believe that is the "official" version, but I can't say with absolute confidence what the physical copy looks like, or if were any discrepancies in printing.

THE WALES DIARIES ♚

21 NOVEMBER 2023 || SOUTH KOREAN STATE VISIT DAY-I (3/3) - STATE BANQUET, BUCKINGHAM PALACE

The Prince and Princess of Wales joined other members of the Royal Family in hosting a State Banquet in honour of the President of South Korea Yoon Suk Yeol and Presidential Spouse Kim Keon Hee at Buckingham Palace.

During the event, The Princess of Wales was in the Queen Mother’s Strathmore Rose Tiara along with Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Orbital Frame Earrings and her Royal Victorian Order Sash and Star.

As I'd hoped it has been a very red, white and blue year for the PoW. There were some pinks and oranges in January's but those eventually disappeared and except for the occasional green ensemble and some neutrals, she has stuck to the coronation theme. That's fantastic!

I've really enjoyed the coronation prep, even if it hasn't been as glam as I had hoped for. The words that come to mind are "professional," "stature," excellence. It has been a very "20th century British diplomatic service" kind of affair, efficient, subdued and targeted. From the train ride to London to drinking pints in Soho to the royal receptions...everything is thoroughly professional, down to the color scheme. It's Executive Royalty.

That's a bit disappointing because I love the royal glam, but KCIII is definitely setting the tone for his reign. It's not the tone I expected because I've always thought KCIII loved glam. I think he still does, but it's not what he wants his reign to represent. Apparently, we won't even get tiaras?

That's a statement. I don't necessarily hate it. He is definitely setting the theme-nature, diversity, service, etc... very successfully too.

Tiara Predictions: Denmark to Sweden

King Frederik and Queen Mary will visit Sweden on the 6th and 7th May 2024 for their first State Visit as King and Queen. The trip will focus on Swedish-Danish relations, technology, the armed forces, the arts and life sciences.

And now to the predictions…

The tiara I want Mary to wear: Pearl Poire - Queen Margrethe’s signature tiara, this would be a lovely tiara for Mary to wear to show a passing of the baton from the former queen to the current. It was last worn in January by Queen Margrethe.

My Prediction: Ruby Parure - This tiara is more likely as Mary has recently worn the Emerald Parure Tiara for her first official portrait as Queen, which cannot be taken outside of Denmark, and I don’t think she’d wear another new tiara so soon. It was last worn in January by Queen Mary, then Crown Princess, for the New Year’s Reception.

The tiara I want Silvia to wear: Braganza Tiara. As Silvia only wears this tiara to multi-royal events, it’s one of the only times that this tiara will get an outing so it’d be lovely if Silvia wore it tonight. It was last worn in September 2023 for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations for King Carl XVI Gustaf.

My Prediction: Leuchtenberg Sapphire Tiara. As the Danish don’t have any huge tiaras, I don’t believe that Silvia will go to the maximum, so the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Tiara is a safer bet. Silvia has worn 6 different tiaras to multi-royal events so this is a harder one to predict. It was last worn by Silvia in Dec 2023 for the King’s Dinner for Nobel Laureates.

The tiara I want Victoria to wear: Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara. This tiara is my absolute favourite Swedish Tiara so it will appear in every prediction! It has been 2.5 years since Victoria wore this tiara so it’s overdue a wear. It was last worn by Princess Christina in January for the State Visit from France.

My Prediction: Baden Fringe. Similar to Silvia, Victoria has worn 4 different tiaras to multi-royal events in the past 7 years, so it’s a hard one to predict. It was last worn by Victoria in September 2023 for her father’s Jubilee celebrations.

The tiara I want Sofia to wear: Cut Steel Bandeau - I really like this tiara and it doesn’t come out of the vault enough. It was last worn by Crown Princess Victoria in July 2017 for the wedding of Astrid Bernadotte.

My Prediction: Wedding tiara. The only tiara Sofia has worn in the last 7 years, this is probably the safest bet! It was worn last month by Sofia for the State Visit from Finland.

The tiara I want Princess Christina to wear: Connaught. Another Swedish stunner! This tiara holds particular significance for the Haga Princesses as it was their mother’s favourite tiara so it’s always lovely when she wears it. The tiara was last worn last month by Christina for the State Visit from Finland.

My Prediction: 4 Button Tiara. The better Swedish button tiara, I am not the biggest fan of either. However, aside from Victoria’s birthday tiara and the Cut Steel Bandeau, this tiara has been in the vault for the longest so it’s due an appearance. It was last worn by Princess Christina in December 2022 for the King’s Dinner for Nobel Laureates.

BRF Reading - 3rd of March, 2023

Question: What is Meghan planning for the coronation of King Charles II on May the 6th?

Interpretation: Some event that she thinks will completely overshadow the coronation.

Card One: The Star in reverse.

The Star is a card of hopes and wishes, of having faith in yourself. Reversed, it means that you have lost hope in a situation ad/or lost faith in yourself. The energy from this card is that Meghan has lost hope of being invited to the coronation or of attending the coronation. Her dreams of standing there in a tiara and robe, all eyes on her, basking in the attention - these dreams have collapsed and died. She knows that either she will not be attending, or that if she does attend she will be hidden away in the background - a fate worse than death to her.

The energy of this card is that if Meghan can't be the star of the coronation, then no one will be the star, and she will do something else to draw all eyes to her and away from the event.

This is a major arcana card so it is the first main energy of the reading.

Card Two: The Eight of Cups.

This is a card of loss, of walking away from a situation. Cups represent emotions, so this is a decision that has been made made based on Meghan's emotions, not rational thought. She has decided to walk away from the coronation and all the attendant glory, because, as per the first card, she can't be the centre of attention. She is not the star of the show so she is walking away from it in a very emotional state. The energy I am getting is hurt (How can they not let me make myself into the star of the event?) and anger (How dare they do this to me?), and then coming after both of those, revenge (They will pay for hurting me like this).

Card Three: The Hierophant in reverse.

The Hierophant is the card of institutions, and here it stands for the BRF. Meghan wants them to fail, as the card in reverse signifies. She is rebelling against them - you won't let me star in the coronation, so I will show you!. There are too many rules in place for Meghan to feel comfortable going to the coronation. She feels that she has lost control of the situation, and she is going to try and regain that control somehow.

This is a major arcana card and the second main energy of the reading.

Card Four: The King of Cups in reverse

This is the card of a Scorpio person, and here it represents King Charles, not in his role as king, but as a person - son, husband, father, grandfather, friend. The card in reverse has the energy that Meghan wants to overshadow King Charles on his big day, but also that she wants to hurt him personally, as cruelly as she can, as she sees that it is his fault that she can't make his coronation be all about her, and therefore he has to pay for this. This is a selfish, cruel, and manipulative energy that is focused on the emotions, so Meghan will be going for maximum emotional hurt with whatever she plans.

Underlying Energy: The Three of Cups.

This is the card of partying, of having a good time, of celebrating with friends, and, perhaps, of over indulging in alcohol. The card has two energies for me in this reading. First, it is the celebration atmosphere of the coronation itself, from which Meghan plans to exclude herself. Secondly, it has the energy of a bigger event, something that Meghan is planning that, she fondly thinks, will take all the eyes off the coronation and focus them where they belong, on her. We all know how the last three years of planning events like this have worked out for Meghan, but she is convinced that this time, finally, it will work.

I don't know what sort of an event Meghan is planning. The card shows a wedding, so maybe she and Harry will renew their vows on the day instead of attending the coronation???

Underlying Energy Two: The Lovers in reverse.

This is another major arcana card and the third main energy of this reading. The Lovers is about relationships, usually romantic relationships, and in reverse it means the relationship is over.

I speculated above that Meghan and Harry would renew their vows on Coronation Day, but this card says that Meghan is far more likely to announce her separation from Harry or her divorce on that day, or before to the date so she can use the coronation PR to drive her separated/divorced PR. She could also do something that says the relationship between her and King Charles/the BRF is over, or she could even try and get Harry to disown his father right before the event.

A relationship is over, but I am not sure which relationship being over is the one that will be used as part of this event Meghan is planning. The Three of Cups before indicates that it could be her and Harry, but it could also be her and Harry joined together against the cruel BRF.

Major Suit: Cups. This is all driven by Meghan's emotions - her hurt feelings at not being the star and her desire for revenge.

Major Arcana: These take up half the reading (3 out of 6 cards). The Star in reverse (the won't let me steal the limelight), the Hierophant in reverse (they must pay for this by being overshadowed by my event), and the Lovers in reverse (the relationship is over).

Conclusion:

The strongest energy of this reading was Meghan's emotions. The BRF is not letting her star in the coronation and they have put rules in place to make sure she can't steal the limelight if she attends. Meghan knows this and she is both hurt and angry over it. Her response is to walk away from the coronation and plan another event for around that time that she fondly imagines will transfer all the attention back where it belongs - on herself, the star. What, exactly, she is planning was a lot less clear.

I would not be surprised if Meghan herself does not know what to do at this stage, nor if she was planning the event fuelled by copious amounts of wine. It is most likely to be something to do with her wedding and with a relationship being over. Announcing her separation from Harry would be the obvious move, but she may also do something like plan a second wedding with Harry (because in her mind a bride trumps a king), or have Harry announce that he is divorcing his family because of their cruelty to Meghan. She will go for the most hurtful event that she can, as part of her revenge for not being allowed to be the star of the coronation.

Bad Girls Club held a Christmas special concert on December 24th, 2023! The event was loved by k-baddies who were able to attend and featured many fun performances and activities for the holiday season! the event featured 8 full group performances, alongside three unit stages! While the event was fun and enjoyable for fans, multiple things were pointed out by fans, such as the absence of Cloe, the groups center, and the lack of security provided to the girls by Mindmix despite their extreme growth in popularity. The only statement left about Cloe stated she could not participate for personal conflicts. Though it left many fans disappointed, they continued enjoying the fun stages nonetheless! The performances included their two latest title tracks Pull Up & Talk That Shhh, alongside this they performed their b-sides Attitude, Kitsch, I’m That Type, & Body Moving, and two unit covers, Megan, Sanghee and Erena covering the iconic Mean Girls Jingle Bell Rock dance, while Lisha, Taehee, and Tiara covered All I Want For Christmas is you! At the end of the concert, the group performed a minute long performance of their unreleased track titled “Pitiful”

Invitations do not come as a surprise after the beautiful announcement of the couple's engagement that hinted the date was closer than anyone could imagine. What surprised the receivers was that the first envelope to arrive wasn't sent or signed by either the bride or groom. The second envelope however contained the information everyone was expecting to read: the wedding ceremony is set to take place during the late afternoon of the 19th at the Botanical Garden of São Paulo, followed by a reception at the Ipiranga Palace, the official residency of The Imperial Princess of Brazil. The fine print of the invitation also had information of an after-party in the wee hours, for those who still had the energy, at the Princess' private island.

If the rumored Met Gala drop did indeed happen in 2018, right before the wedding, then the (rumored) Givenchy dressing room incident could have also been why. No way Anna wouldn’t have heard about that quickly.

I hadn't even thought of that!

Yes, absolutely, 100%. Anna Wintour knows everyone and she absolutely would've heard about what went down at Givenchy. Edward Enninful too. And now that you mention it, I wonder if others in British fashion also heard about it and that may have affected who sent clothes to Meghan. I imagine so - fashion is a small world too. But how many of them believed Meghan when she said it was just wedding stress and she's not really like that. We know Enninful got somehow duped, since he looked pretty chummy with her in all the behind-the-scenes stuff for the September edition she did.

Anyway. For all the new-to-royal watching anons (and a refresher for everyone else!), this is is the the lowdown on the "Givenchy incident."

In November 2018, Camilla Tominey/The Telegraph published a story that Meghan made Kate cry during the bridesmaid fittings. (This is the original article, behind a paywall; I'll post excerpts below the cut. This is the Daily Mail's version of it.)

In March 2021, Oprah asked about this incident in the interview and Meghan revealed that "the reverse happened"; that Kate had made Meghan cry. Later on social media, Camilla doubled down on her sources that it was Meghan who made Kate cry.

About two weeks after oprah, Empress received the original Givenchy tea about Meghan's beyond-bridezilla behavior for the wedding. (Also, this is the post we're referring to by "Givenchy Anon" or "Givenchy tea".)

In July 2022, Tom Bower confirmed the bridezilla behavior and the bridesmaid dress fitting incidents in Revenge. Here is the Daily Mail's report.

In January 2023, Harry wrote about the bridesmaid dress fitting in Spare. This the Daily Mail's article about Harry's version of events. Camilla Tominey again doubled down on her sources via social media. (Also around this time, there was a rumor that Camilla had seen the actual text messages of Meghan gloating that she had made Kate cry and when Kate came to apologize, Meghan had slammed the door in her face after taking the flowers.)

Then in December, Sassy got some follow-up tea about Meghan's behavior around the wedding. The wedding tea is about 2/3s of the way down.

It was only a matter of time before all eyes would be on Kate and Meghan and how well they did – or didn’t – get on. The royal sisterhood has not been under this much scrutiny since a young Princess Diana and an excitable Fergie joined the household in the Eighties.

But the talk of a growing froideur between Kate and Meghan really ramped up following rumours of an apparent falling out between the pair in the run up to the Sussexes’ wedding in May. The Telegraph has spoken to two separate sources who claim Kate was left in tears following a bridesmaids dress fitting for Princess Charlotte. “Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional,” said one insider. The incident happened around the time Meghan was reported to have also “upset” the Queen by asking to wear an emerald tiara instead of the one offered by the 92-year-old monarch. It came after a book by veteran royal journalist Robert Jobson described Harry as “petulant and short-tempered” in the build up to the Windsor Castle wedding. He allegedly told staff with a raised voice: “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets” and when reports reached the Queen, she asked to see her grandson privately and “put him firmly in his place”, Mr Jobson wrote. Rumours of any lingering ill feeling between the Queen and Meghan appear wide of the mark, however. The two women, who share a love of dogs, enjoyed each other’s company at their first solo engagement together in Cheshire in June - even if Meghan did inadvertently break protocol by not wearing a hat. And earlier this month the Queen entrusted Meghan to “look after” Elke Budenbender, wife of the German president during the Remembrance commemorations in a move which saw her separated from the Duchess of Cambridge who was on an adjacent balcony with the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall. Despite being welcomed into the family fold, the attitude “below stairs” has apparently not been universally positive, with some giving the relationship “five years”.

Upcoming Bruneian Royal Wedding

The Bruneian royal court have announced that Prince Abdul Mateen Bolkiah will marry Anisha Rosnah Isa binti Adam Kalebic in a ten day celebration starting on January 7th. They announced this one a little earlier than they usually do possibly to give his rather intense fans more time to come to terms with it.

Prince Mateen's sisters have gotten married in the last couple of years, Princess Fadzilah in January 2022 and Princess Azemah in January 2023, and Anisha attended both of the weddings with him. I guess the siblings are taking turns every January.

The couple have been together for many years and have most likely been engaged since before last January. At Princess Azemah's wedding, the photographer posted a photo of Anisha wearing a large diamond ring with the caption 'one with the bride to be eh?' and she was later pictured wearing it while watching Mateen play polo.

The wedding of Prince Mateen's siblings have had anywhere from two to four tiara events but I think this one will follow the pattern of Princess Azemah and Princess Fadzilah with two tiara events on the 14th and 15th. I'm also looking forward to the Berbedak on the 10th which is when the bride wears the fancy gold headdress.

I really enjoy Bruneian royal weddings because I like learning about all of the traditions and let’s be honest because there are a lot of diamonds! Princess Fadzilah wore two tiaras that belonged to Queen Saleh and Princess Azemah wore a new tiara and one that belonged to Queen Saleh. I keep hoping that one of them to wear the former Princess Mariam's tiaras so maybe she was saving them for her son.
