one of my best friends. ive known her since spring last year and i couldnt imagine my life without her, i feel like ive known her for so long. she was the best friend of the last guy i thought i loved before i realised i really am a lesbian and i'm just so grateful to get her out of the situation. she reminds me of summer and the sun because she has warm blonde hair. she always used to wear this vanilla deodorant and still does and bc we met in summer that smell just reminds me of happiness every time im around her. she is bright and funny and just the right amount of assertive and easy going to complete me. she's honestly made me a better person too. and i appreciate her so much and i love so much about her, she has the best music taste, humour, doesn't do anything for anyone else but herself and makes me feel safe. we've shared so many great memories together like going on vacation over the summers. i know that i can talk to anything about her because she genuinely understands me or doesnt judge me and i would always do the same for her.

“Waaah  seminar apa Bu? Kece banget. Hehe” Kata ku ikut heboh.

“Seminar pendidikan antinarkoba untuk di sekolah anakku. Keren ga? Bantuin bikin powerpoint, konsep acara, sama menghubungi narasumber ya. Kamu kan biasa organisasi di kampus. Aku mah baru pertama kali thyyy.”

Terlihat sekali bahwa Ibu sangat antusias mendapat amanah itu dari forum orang tua murid di sekolah anaknya. Biasanya jarang ada ibu-ibu yang tertarik mengurusi hal seperti ini diusia mereka, apa lagi untuk ibu yang bekerja juga. Penasaran, aku tanya kepada Ibu kenapa beliau begitu bersemangat. Dan inilah jawabannya.

“Ih aku emang punya cita-cita jadi ketua panitia thy. Waktu kuliah ga sempet ikut organisasi-organisasi, pas udah nikah acara-acara di lingkungan rumah kan ketuanya bapak-bapak, nah pas didukung sama orang tua siswa yang lain ya aku mau. Aku pikir ini kesempatan buat mewujudkan cita-cita itu.”

Aku diam sejenak.

Sederhana. Sangat sederhana, tapi aku merasakan makna yang sangat dalam dari cara ibu mengungkapkan cita-citanya itu. Tentu bagi sebagian orang menjadi ketua panitia dari suatu acara bukanlah hal yang istimewa atau bahkan tidak layak disebut sebagai cita-cita atau mimpi. Terlihat dari semangat Ibu untuk membuat acara seminar itu sukses, aku mencoba mencari makna lain tentang mimpi.

Tibalah pada hari H, aku tidak sabar menanti cerita Ibu tentang seminar itu. Acara berlangsung pada pagi hingga siang hari, setelah makan siang Ibu kembali ke lab. Setibanya di lab beliau langsung memelukku.

“Alhamdulillah, sukses thyyyy acaranya. Anak-anak antusias banget, bahkan diluar dugaan, mereka aktif bertanya dan memberi tanggapan.” kata Ibu

“Waah Alhamdulillah Bu, Barakallah ya Bu.” kataku ikut senang

Lalu Ibu bilang, “Jadi thy ketika Allah mewujudkan satu mimpi kita, sebenarnya Dia sedang mewujudkan juga banyak doa yang telah kita panjatkan bahkan lebih dari itu, bahkan doa-doa yang belum sempat kita ucapkan. Tadi setelah acara, anak aku langsung meluk aku dan bilang kalau Ibu nya keren ke teman-temannya. Itu membuat aku lega, selama dia di sekolah (pesantren) aku merasa belum jadi Ibu yang bisa selalu ada untuknya. Setelah jadi ketua panitia pun aku dipercaya sama sekolah untuk memang golden card, semacam kartu yang bisa digunakan agar dapat terlibat di kegiatan siswa. Misal jadi pendamping ketika study tour dan lain-lain. Aku minta sama Allah agar tetap bisa dekat dengan anakku meski dia di pesantren, dan Allah kasih jalan untuk itu melalui amanah jadi ketua panitia seminar.”

Sekali lagi, ini terdengar sederhana. Tapi maknanya sangat menakjubkan. “Bersama satu mimpi sederhana, Allah bukakan jalan pada hal yang lebih besar. Dan Allah selalu melihat kesungguhan kita. Jika kita mau menghargai sesuatu yang sederhana, memaknai setiap rezeki meski hanya segelas air, maka dengan ridhoNya kita akan dimampukan untuk mimpi-mimpi besar yang mungkin bahkan tak pernah terlintas di “tidur” kita.”

Vanilla World is a semi-vanilla whitelisted server with a few aesthetic plugins. We think anything that changes the gameplay is a cool thought, but just takes away from the natural feel.
