Finally finished my vtuber's character reference sheet :D Its Thyri! You might have recognised her from some previous postings I've done, and yeah I've been using her as my pngtuber model the past few months :) Figured I'd get around to making a reference sheet instead of a hodgepodge of different art pieces to give to artists when I commission them XD

My Entry for the last Prompt of @vikingsevents Winter Solstice. Day 7: Mead

Honey Mead

Aslaug always threw the greatest feasts for her subjects on the holidays. Midwinter was no different. Ubbe caught Hvitserk eating a chicken leg while chatting up two maidens and couldn't help but smile. It didn't fade as he walked past, patting his little brother on the shoulder to find someone for himself.

With his cup in his hand he walked through the masses gathered inside the Great Hall, passing people he knew and greeted as usual without stopping. There was someone who'd caught his eye earlier and he needed to know if he was right about her.

Many years ago Siggy died for Hvitserk and him and they never saw Thyri again as she left Kattegat for good. His mother once told him it was due to all the horrible things that had happened to her family that she felt the need to leave this place behind.

She was a little older, he noticed once he finally was close enough to be convinced it was her and none other. "It's been a long time," Ubbe said, loud enough to be heard over all the music and chatter of the guests. "Thyri, right?" he asked, effectively pushing another man out of the way who'd been about to try his luck.

Thyri smiled at him over the rim of her cup. He knew she only had ale in it and offered his own, filled with honey mead. "You must be a son of Ragnar," she said, a fire dancing in her eyes that captivated Ubbe immediately. He nodded to confirm and she offered the seat next to her. Then she took a sip from Ubbe's cup, a surprised expression crossing her face. "I haven't had this in a long while." Thyri said wistfully.

"You could have it whenever, if you were to marry me," Ubbe said cockily, a smirk on his lips.

Thyri laughed, the sweetest sound to Ubbe, "I don't even know your name, son of Ragnar." He regarded her with a hungry look. She was something else, he decided. Older and probably not what Aslaug wanted, but as far as Ubbe remembered Thyri used to be a princess.

"If that's the only condition holding you back," he remarked, looking over the people who danced and were having fun around them. "I'm Ubbe."

The way Thyri bit back her smile entranced Ubbe and he swore he'd do anything to see her smile more often.

i've been thinking about an au! where aemma never lost her fives babies before rhaenyra nor baelon (and where viserys waited for her to be of age to consummate their marriage)

i've also been thinking about another au! where alicent's children are aemma's (and where alicent marries someone sweet and of her age) and i know they'd be so loved and, truth be said, it's just me wanting to have everyone be happy, especially the targtowers kids.

and then i've been thinking about a merge of these two au!s where aemma has her five babies, rhaenyra, baelon and aegon, helaena, aemond and daeron (yeah, i know, having eleven children would have probably killed her in these times but let's say she has eleven safe, healthy and smooth pregnancies) bc she just deserved to have all her children by her side, to meet her grandkids and, again, the targtowers kids deserved love.

oo! ooo!🙋‍♂️ I have a Tal Sol good ending which is as it sounds and then I have an ending that's like extra bad where Thyri ends up fully transforming into a hag so I don't know I think this is good for me I'm having a great time actually😜

Day 18: Tyra of Denmark (also spelled Thyri). In the sagas, she was forced to marry the pagan king Burislav of Wenden by her brother Svein Forkbeard. She refused and fled to Norway, offering to marry the Norwegian king Olaf Tryggvason instead. She sent her new husband to retrieve her Wendish properties, but he was killed by Forkbeard on the way back, after which Tyra apparently committed suicide, but that’s just what the sagas say…

BEATRIX THYRI, vinte e oito anos, campeã do deus veerom.

pai: desconhecido.

mãe: úrsula thyri, morta.

irmãos: não tem.

atual cargo: tenente da legião das chamas.

nasceu em um bordel; úrsula trabalhava como prostituta, logo, o homem responsável pelo genes daquela garotinha, ela desconhecia. beatrix então cresceu em meio a outras mulheres, quando criança, ficava presa nos fundos do prostíbulo, assustada que algum daqueles homens pudessem a fazer mal. aos cinco anos, a mãe vem a falecer de uma gripe forte, a deixando sozinha. primeiro, achou que as demais mulheres cuidariam dela, que a manteriam segura. depois, percebeu que as pessoas não se importavam consigo verdadeiramente. no primeiro homem que ousou tocá-la, pensou que alguém ajudaria, mas havia sido vendida - algumas horas em troca de pouco dinheiro. ela o acertou com uma faca no olho. depois disso, fugiu e passou a sobreviver nas ruas como dava, fugindo de tudo que pudesse machucá-la, aprendendo a lutar, a ter um pouco de garra. só aos vinte que recebeu o chamado de veerom e nem fora tão simples assim. perdeu-se na floresta e encontrou um urso, enorme, com dentes e garras afiadas. entraram em luta corporal, fora arranhada, mordida e mesmo perto da morte, conseguiu matar o animal; mas enquanto o via sangrar, beatrix fez uma oração pela alma do urso, suas lágrimas caindo sobre a ferida da fera, o que revelou a figura de veerom. ela tinha passado no teste.

deus veerom: está associado ao fogo, a terra, a caça. aqueles que cultivam ao deus, costumam fazer oferendas em florestas; seja ofertando frutas, ou até mesmo sangue de animais em pedras entalhadas com suas runas. costuma ser representado por cervos.

legião das chamas: são um grupo que defenda o deus veerom. quando o grupo foi iniciado, mulheres não eram permitidas, mas após beatrix, o grupo passou a recebê-las. o deus não permite que integrantes do grupo se relacionem, são todos como irmãos. em suma, costumam agir contra caçadores (que optam pela caça como um prêmio ao invés de um alimento a ser respeitado) e as vezes, agem como justiceiros contra agressões a mulheres e crianças. não costumam ser reconhecidos por sua piedade ou mortes limpas; são agressivos, irritadiços.

habilidades: além de ter super-força, beatrix consegue manipular a terra. seja mudando o aspecto, abrindo túneis (geocinese).
