Just one feature doesn't feel enough. Things observed over the years, traits that she admired and found inspiring. Resilience and determination, that refusal to fall into line like so many others, to resist their lot in life ever since he was dragged to the Circle. His humor and quick wit, his tongue sharp and antics legendary. His compassion and empathy, a healer at heart that's full of love to give, though guarded. Passion for his cause, that righteous anger. Soft hands, warm eyes, that smile.

abrasive, all burred edges and static charge --- he’s as dangerous as the magic at fingertips, and as wild as the flames of an apprentice studying the arts of elements. but! there are exceptions, there are those few moments seen, heard, known, welcome and cherished. it’s the healer’s hands, a gentleness born from a fractured heart and a loss of faith. hope, wish and want for what he believes is right, what they believe they deserve --- not from action, but from simply living. it’s the smile that then follows with firm grip and squeeze and promise: things will be better.
