Thunderclan: Formation
Thunderclan was created by the Legendary Lions Thunder, one of the destined Five. Born to Star along with his siblings Solar Sky and Jay’s River, he was the most powerful and chivalrous of the three. He helped teach his nieces in morality and strength when they were old enough, and brought in many cats to their group through fiery speeches and promises.
After the death of both his father and his mate, Lions Thunder followed his brothers when they decided to leave their territory, searching for a new life away from the grief and hardship of their previous home. More cats joined their travelling group, and they all split once they came across the land that would become their new home.
Lions Thunder took over part of the forest closer to the marsh, leaving the rest of the pines to Solar Sky’s group. During this time, Lions Thunder took in a cat named Bumble, who knew every language on this side of the mountains, a key cat for communications between the group and those not in it, including those who wanted to join.
However, when Solar Sky began pushing against his territory, Lions Thunder was quick to panickedly attempt to take Jays River’s territory in return, causing fighting among all the groups. During the First full moon after the fighting began, the past family members agreed to meet together at the five trees in the middle of the territory to negotiate.
The truce did not last long, and every cat threw themselves at each other. It was a pointless slaughter, and it was only when Star’s spirit and the spirits of the fallen in battle begged for the fighting to stop did they listen. Eight lives were gifted to those leaders who were worthy, and those who were not were cast aside as the dead were buried.
Lions Thunder, now a Star, led his clan the best he could with his new lives, appointing two cats to lead in his stead if he could no longer. Leading them through a crisis of faith and attacks from twolegs, dogs and others, he appointed new ranks to serve proud in their chosen role, starting the creation of the system Thunderclan knows today. He died as he lived, leading his cats to the very end as Thunderclan’s first Leader.

Skyfall: The ThunderClan Shrine
Sketch of the ThunderClan Shrine! Shrines are an addition to the clan camps in Skyfall that serve as local StarClan beacons. They’re essentially powered down versions of the Moonstone/Moonpool that are available to everyday clan members in their camps. Rituals and ceremonies for briths, deaths, and namings occur at the shrine, so that StarClan and the clan deities can hear the ritual.
The ThunderClan shrine is a stylized carving of Roaring Thunder (Thunder in canon), the legendary first leader of ThunderClan. In legend, he is depicted as a sleek tom with two tails and amber eyes. The symbol carved into his chest is the glyph for Roaring Thunder. It is usually painted red/orange using ochre paint, as are his eyes. In this sketch, the paint has faded somewhat. In ThunderClan it is common to decorate the shrine or give offerings of flowers, leaves, bones, and rocks.
The ThunderClan shrine is carved from oak and is so old that no one quite remembers when it was carved. The base has rotted a few times and has needed to be replaced. Some older or more cynical cats suggest that the same must have happened to the statue at some point. Some cats refute this however, arguing that since the shrine is under the cover of the Highrock’s ledge that the statue has not rotted and is the original. No one knows the truth for sure.

Anything more you can share about the Clans' religion? Do each of them worship separate gods... Do they each have differing views on each god... Do they have specific worship practices... Things of that sort! ^^
of course!!!
Each clan has their own separate beliefs in the gods that run the world, but they all agree that the others from separate clans exist as well. they've just come to accept that they believe in different things in the same world, that's all there is to it.
now, i'm gonna put the clans gods and worshipping practices under the cut, bc it'll probably get long
THUNDERCLAN
Thunderclan believes in the rule of Usisi, Omra, Beckt and Roma, all birds of prey. Usisi is a buzzard, Omra is an owl, Beckt is a eagle and Roma is a falcon. Each represents a different aspect of Thunderclan's lives.
Usisi --- Loud and Proud, she represents love of food.
Omra --- Observant and Strong, he represents brutality and care for family.
Beckt --- Silent and Large, she represents war and battle.
Roma --- Fast and Judgmental, she represents intelligence and justice
Their worshipping style is one of the more lax, but they still believe in it fiercely. They make small offerings, and lay them on altars they have created, watching and waiting for a bird to take it. It doesn't matter what type to them, it just has to be a bird.
SHADOWCLAN
Shadowclan believes in the Pack God and the Fae Lords, those being the Surrima as a whole, Benshi, Sass, Rooci and Asrel. The Surrima is a group of dogs from the pack afterlife who have chosen to watch over the clan after they cared for a pup, and the others are Fae Lords that all fae answer to. Each represents something Shadowclan believes in.
The Surrima --- Love and Ferocity
Benshi --- Spirits and Kindness
Sass --- Magic
Rooci --- Life and Devotion
Asrel --- Death and Anger
Their worshipping style is that whenever an apprentice reaches maturity and is deemed ready, they will be sent to spend the night among the fae in the wild. Along with that, the apprentice is to bring pawmade gifts.
RIVERCLAN
Riverclan believes that all water is a gift from the heavens to be cherished and loved as much as another cat. They don't have a pantheon themselves, just the belief in the higher power that created them, and the other clans and their gods, too. The Mirra.
Their worshipping style is the most lax, but they make sure to thank the Mirra for every day they have water, food and each other.
WINDCLAN
Windclan believes in the Three, Lurra, Memm and Tirra. Lurra is a great lion, Memm is a sleek leopard, and Tirra is a lumbering tiger. Each represents a crucial part of life for a Windclan cat.
Lurra --- Life
Memm --- Water
Tirra --- Death
Worship in Windclan comes down to intense preying, by lifting their whiskers to the sky, and saying quiet words of prayer.
SKYCLAN
Skyclan believes in their own gods, and has the most extensive pantheon of the clans. so much so that it'd be impossible to list them all, so I'll list the main three. Aioa the Deer, Derrsa the Crow, and Minooa the Dog. Each represents Skyclan's core values.
Aioa --- Life and Power
Derrsa --- Death and Intelligence
Minooa --- Love and Humans
Their worshipping is very focused on prayer and giving offerings. Each God has their own personal altars that the cats use to give their offerings and pray.

ThunderClan Culture
The Strong: ThunderClan’s old-growth forest protects them from enemies, both Clan and predator alike. They are strong and formidable fighters, believing that fighting for their Clan is the best way to serve it. Unlikely to retire until they have to, they believe that dying in battle for their Clan is the best way to go.
ThunderClan cats are often large and warm-toned. They are typically named very literally, with their looks directly informing the name they are given by their parents.
Below the cut are the following expansions to ThunderClan's culture:
Council
Holidays
Territory
Territory Powers
Territory Tales
changelog: added naming convention and stereotypical features
ThunderClan's Council
ThunderClan's council is made up of 3 members who hold their positions until they step down or retire. They are chosen from the winners of the Clan's Greenleaf Holiday Competition, to ensure that the best warriors are filling the position.
ThunderClan's council often leads border patrols. They are responsible for helping to make big decisions, representing the warriors within the Clan. The council members are often expected to complete special assignments given to them by the leader, such as establishing and maintaining trails, monitoring prey animal populations, and other as-needed responsibilities.
The deputy is chosen by the leader from the current council members.
Clan Holidays
MAJOR ThunderClan’s main holiday is in Greenleaf, during the longest day of the year. The Clan participates in a day of competitions for everything from hunting and fighting to climbing and races. They end the day with a feast, with the winners of each competition getting their pick of the prey. If any council positions are available, the new council member will be named at this feast.
MINOR While ThunderClan's major holiday is in Greenleaf, they still celebrate the holidays of the other seasons.
Leaf-fall: To prepare for the upcoming cold season, ThunderClan sets aside the leaf-fall holiday for making large den renovations. While cats do den maintenance the rest of the year, this holiday is dedicated to big projects such as expanding a den that is too small or replacing a roof.
Leafbare: On the shortest day of the year, each ThunderClan cat will find some alone time between patrols to go on a silent walk through the territory. During their solitary walk, they will reflect on the past cycle. They will decide what things they want to leave behind, and what they want to carry forward with them into the new cycle.
Newleaf: To celebrate the new growth, ThunderClan sets aside the newleaf holiday to clean out the old from camp. All dens are cleared out and thoroughly cleaned; the camp clearing is swept of all leaves and debris. After everything is fresh and new, cats will spend time decorating the camp and their nests. Cats will often coordinate their decor with friends and family.
ThunderClan's Territory
A lush old-growth deciduous forest. Greenleaf is warm and mild, and the large trees protect the Clan from precipitation in the rainy and snowy seasons. There are plenty of birds and squirrels living in the ancient trees.
Territory Powers
ThunderClan's territory lends them strength, but also the ability to grow.
Plant Growth: Can cause small burst of growth in a plant, such as increasing leaf cover or making a flower bloom.
Thunder Strike: A battle move that causes a loud sound, and often staggers or concusses an opponent. Not good for stealth, and often halts a battle while everyone recovers from the noise.
Lightning Leap: Adds a supernatural boost of strength. Useful for moving debris off of trails, or making an extra-big leap from tree branch to tree branch.
Territory Tales
OWLBEAST While the other Clans believe the Owl Tree is named for the owl that lives within, ThunderClan cats know the truth: the owl in the Owl Tree is not an owl at all, but a half-owl half-cat creature. While most of the year it’s not viewed as a threat, during cold Leafbares it may steal kits or apprentices for a meal. Apprentices may sneak out of camp to try and catch a glimpse, and many have claimed to be successful. Skeptical cats insist that it is just a big owl. They think the disappearances of young cats during the cold months can be blamed on Twolegs luring them into their dens, or simply catnapping them from the territory.
THE WILD HUNT When the full moon is especially large and bright, a collection of ghostly cats roam all four territories. Named the Wild Hunt, the group catches prey and chases off predators. ThunderClan cats believe these cats are warriors slain in battle who could not find peace in StarClan. They roam the territories hoping to find and end their killer.

TigerStar wip. Conflicted about his character design. It may change.
But now for some lore about him in my au!
The armor you see him in now was the not tbe same he had when he was a knight and later captain of Thunders knighhood. When he was banished and exiled he was stripped of his armor and the metal was used to make random tools or horseshoes as an ultimate form of disrespect.
When he took over Shadows knighthood and kingdom he needed to have a whole new set forged for him. It was made in a hurry so it was a lot less intricate and made with a lot less love than a knights armor usally is

Leopardfoot confronts Pine
This when Leopardfoot confronted Pine about him abandoning their remaining kit, Tiger, and breaking his promise, after he announced that he was leaving the clan to become a kittypet.
While Leopardfoot's family and the rest of the clan backed her up, Pine was apathetic, and after the whole clan berated him, Pine leaves without saying anything, to finally escape from Thunderclan, starting his new life.

Ancient Roots: The Clans and Lore
Some base info on clans and their daily life/rituals/habits
ThunderClan:
Considered the proudest and most stoic of the clans
"Welcome to ThunderClan—the Clan of courage and loyalty.[...] There is no Clan in the forest so true or so brave. [...] the Clan of heroes, the Clan of compassion, the Clan of destiny." Secrets of the Clans
Other clans often view them as stuck up and snarky, but all the help they offer isn't done out of malice or viewing other clans as less, it's simply what they think is right to help the clans.
ThunderClan is also fairly hated for their issues being ones that often ooze over into other clans
In the forest territories, there were skirmishes over the Sunning Rocks, however, many elders were always happy to share between the two clans, much to the irritation of leaders, especially Sunstar.
The clan is the most open to outsiders, thanks to Firestar's rise to power from a kittypet.
After Firestar's death, the clan slowly withdrew from the lives of the other clans.
They are one of the best clans at blending in and hiding in thick undergrowth, as well as the quietest when moving through their territory
Their families are much more tight-knit than those in other clans, with heritage prized and upheld in stories
Is often the largest of the clans due to their relative lack of predators or environmental challenges in their territory
They are the broadest shouldered of the clan cats
WindClan:
Considered the most withdrawn from the rest of the clans, as well as the most quick-witted and skittish
Love and prefer open spaces to exist in
Often view themselves as the closest to StarClan due to their unobstructed view of the sky
Fastest and most skittish of the clans, much like the rabbits and hares they share their lands with
Queens occasionally will nurse young puppies or kits of barn cats
While tunneling has not been as common in the lake territories, there are still visible differences between Moor Runners and Tunnelers and their descendants. Moor Runners are often more lanky, longer-legged, and smaller-pawed, with longer tails to aid in balance. Tunnelers are broader, stronger, with larger paws
Tunneling has slowly come back into popularity and is a skill being relearned and taught by Shattered Ice and past tunnelers.
Eyesight is especially important and valued. They have the keenest sight in any of the clans and to become a warrior, they must monitor the clan, borders, or patrols from a distance, while their mentor watches and decides if they can be a warrior
They prize their history and past, especially given their prominent historical figures, such as Moth Flight, Gray Wing, Shattered Ice, Windstar, and many others
During Onestar's leadership, their connection with other clans significantly deteriorated, although they're working to improve them once again
They are often the tallest of the clan cats
ShadowClan:
Considered the most reclusive and fearsome of the clans
“'And ShadowClan holds power over there, in the darkest part of the forest.' [...] 'The elders say that the cold winds from the north blow over the ShadowClan cats and chill their hearts.'” -Into the Wild
Proud, defensive, and secretive. Since the rule of Tigerstar I, and the string of harsh and even cruel leaders before him, the clan has gotten more and more aggressive and defensive over how they're perceived by the other clans. They have pretty much given up on changing their perception themselves, instead just resorting to defensive and snarky behavior. It's not like they're believed by the other clans anyways
Since Dovewing's move to the Clan, the perception of the clan has improved, but they still face scrutiny, especially after Tigerstar II's takeover of RiverClan
They're usually the smallest of the clans by number
The clan is semi nocturnal. Many cats prefer to sleep during the day and hunt or patrol at night. Other clans aren't fully aware of this and many just assume that they have early dawn patrols. While not all cats are night patrollers, any member of the clan is willing to pull a night patrol. Most cats take turns on who is nocturnal, but some cats have chosen to take this role permanently
To become a warrior, an apprentice must prove proficient in moving through the territory silently. They must spy on the clan and return when they're ready without being seen or detected by their mentor and clan, providing any and all information they have gathered about the clan
Many cats are silent most of the time and have perfected paw speak. Silence is valued for the continued connection to the shadows they are named afterThey specialize in stealth, ambushes, spying, and silence
Apprentices spend much of their training learning to sneak, patrol, and even hunt in complete silence, relying only on body language, paw speak, and subtle signals for communication. This is valued for stealth missions and general clan life
They are very private and closed off, often preferring to keep clan matters to themselves or to their immediate family
They are often the most stocky of the clan cats
RiverClan:
Considered the most peaceful and mild-mannered of the clans and the most patient.
“'Loyalty, honor, courage, and faith in StarClan. These are the values of a warrior.' [...] 'Peace, community, and kinship. These are the values of RiverClan.'” Riverstar’s Home
They kept the values on which Riverstar formed the clan. When Tigerstar was able to take over the clan, with Leopardstar going along with it, it turned most of the clan against her. Why should she stay the leader when she goes against the values set by Riverstar, the patron of peace, who created the clan with peace in mind? Even after Leopardstar started having second thoughts, she was never able to regain the respect that the clan had had for her. She is often scorned and her memory is spat on by the clan, which has since worked hard to get back to its peaceful roots.
While Riverstar started the habit of meditation, the habit has drifted in and out of the clan's habits. The clan had started meditating again during Mistystar's leadership, but since her death, the habit has not been kept up.
They're the best at building and weaving, followed only by ThunderClan
Healers often cultivate the growth of herbs in or around their camp or territory, depending on the habitat a herb needs
Like in Riverstar's time, RiverClan collects small items, such as shells and feathers, to decorate the camp, nests, and dens with. To give their highly valued items to their close friends or lovers is often viewed as a declaration of love
Beauty is highly valued in the clan- be it physical or in mannerisms
Swimming is taught to kits by their parents in small creeks or slow-moving portions of the river
Outside relationships are much more accepted than in many of the other clans. Additionally, there is never any pressure for a queen to share the parentage of her kits, for did Riverstar himself not bring a mate back to the clan?
They are the most touchy and loving of the clans, often brushing against each other, rubbing their heads against each other, or grooming each other. This isn't viewed as something that should stick to their mates, though mates spend considerable time grooming and cuddling each other. This is important for them while swimming, as touch can convey many different signals, much like ShadowClan and their paw speak.
They are able to hold their breaths the longest. The cat who can hold their breath the longest is often the better hunter. However, the number of apprentices making competitions of this results in many exasperated mentors
They are often the longest-furred of the clan cats, along with the unique trait of webbed paws. Many cats think of them as fat and lazy, but they are quite muscled and quick-pawed
SkyClan:
Before Leaving the Forest: Considered the most aggressive and arrogant
Taking after Skystar and his rogues, SkyClan was considered, in this time, as the most aggressive and least trustworthy. This made exiling them easier. Who wants an aggressive neighbor?
SkyClan cats are the most open to rogues and quick-to-fight cats. They were even more intimidating than ThunderClan and ShadowClan, leading to their continued isolation
They were considerably less territory-hungry after Skystar's death, but were still considered to be the first to leap after empty territory
Their borders were often closed to all but medicine cats. Any information sharing done by leaders could simply be left at the border with a representative
In the Gorge: They are considered withdrawn and sad by outsiders
Before the clan fell
They were often withdrawn from the world.
Many clan traditions were lost as well as their connection with the other clans
There was no feeling of love or longing towards any of the other clans after their exile, except maybe from those who had left family or lovers behind. Why would they? None had stood up for them, so there was little love of those who had watched them leave
After their rebuilding
"SkyClan's destiny is that we will never live in isolation from other cats. We're not like forest Clans, we can't shut ourselves off entirely from kittypets or rogues. And visitors will be welcome"- SkyClan's Destiny
The clan was much more open to the presence of others. They essentially got a new start
They are much more peaceful and accepting than they were before, thanks to Firestar's open-mindedness.
They often have the oddest traits of any of the clans, given their kittypet or loner blood
They're working hard to rebuild their connection with the ancestors and their traditions
Skystar and former leaders often visit the healer(s) and Leafstar in dreams, informing them of traditions and herbal knowledge
After joining the Lake Clans: Considered the most judgmental of the clans
Much the same as after their rebuilding, however, they're much more judgmental of the other clans and their traditions. The toxicity and habits of the clans have not been ingrained into SkyClan cats since birth
This judgmental view often results in judgment from other clans. They tend to view SkyClan as odd and weak given their odd habits
They are still working to reclaim their culture and traditions, often aided by their ancestors in dreams
They have the weakest connection to StarClan, with many of the clan members not fully believing all the stories and glory that the other clans have of the clan
They are the least afraid of twolegs given their kittypet, loner, and rogue background

So I decided to draw at least the headshots of the kingdoms so that way you guys can sorta get an idea
They’re not my best… underneath their fur is scales, so the skin inside their ears matches the same colors
Riverglade (accidentally wrote riverside ugh) have neck frills and when spook they puff up. They don’t fully grow in until three moons old so at first they’re just a bunch of scales around the neck
Shadowmire looses their tusks all the time, and in two-three days new ones grow in. It’s the same with all the cats teeth if they lose one but it five-six days
Thundergrowth doesn’t really have anything special except unlike the others they can’t handle the cold too well…if they get too cold they’ll stop moving, stop eating and then slowly die, it’s call the Stilling for them
Windmoor I’m still figuring out but they’re a lot different than the other kingdoms since at the founding most of their group are the ones that originally lived at the Strath but wouldn’t allow to be chase off. They’re more bug like like the hivewings and they have a sort of hive mind with each other. It’s why they don’t like outsiders too much because it’s very hard to be welcome into it

ROLES THUNDERCLAN
THUNDERCLAN
Leader - The Leader of Thunderclan, sometimes called "The Thundering Star", has complete control over their Clan. Their power is the utmost other than the gods and Starclan, so when they give an order, it must be followed. Many cats think this rule is stupid, but it has been a part of the clan as long as anyone can remember.
Deputies - The Deputies of Thunderclan are picked directly by the leader, usually being cats who will do everything the leader says. They are in charge of both the fighting of the clan and the running of the clan.
Hunters - Hunters are just that, the hunters of the clan. They hunt for food, bring it back, and then continue hunting. In addition, they are also brought into battles as a main force of combat, hoping to use strength in numbers to defeat foes.
Seers - A Seer is a cat who sees signs from Starclan specifically, being told through vague instructions what to do, though what they make of those instructions is up to the cat.
Priests - Priests are in charge of helping cats with crisis of faith, themselves, and their spiritual or mental health. They answer directly to the Gods, and carry out their teachings faithfully. Most of the time at least.
Lorekeepers - Lorekeepers are the teachers of clan lore and language to kittens and outsiders who decide to join. They are some of the oldest cats in the clan if their apprenticeship hasn't just ended, and are plenty happy to talk your ear off.
Aviators - Aviators keep tabs on the birds of the area and communicate with them, making sure they are happy and will leave the cats alone. Their job is a necessity because of their religions closeness to birds, so a clan cat and a bird can steer clear of one another as they find their meals
Caretakers - The Caretakers are put in charge of both maintaining the camp and the elders and court. They make sure they're fed, rebuild camp walls when necessary, and are counted on for taking the elders for their daily walks.
Mentors - Cats who are currently Mentoring an Apprentice and are expected to give their all in teaching said Apprentice. They are usually only picked if they are 2 cycles or older.
Elders - The eldest cats in the clan, they have rightfully retired from work to relax in their final days.
Cook - The cook is the cat that pushes healthy food safety on the other cats of the clan, and helps them prepare the food to as much of perfection as they can get.
Kits - Cats younger than 6 moons old who have yet to become apprentices, but have received their first name.
Apprentices - Cats older than 6 moons who have begun their training in any number of jobs. Name ends with "paw".

ThunderClan territory map! View below for info on the landmarks
ThunderClan’s territory is thick deciduous forest, with mixed coniferous species near the western border. In the east, the forest thins out into hilly fields, butting up against Moon River. ThunderClan camp lies in an abandoned quarry.
The Sky Oak An ancient oak tree that grows near the lakeshore, its branches reaching high into the sky. Apprentices learn to climb here, as the wide branches and soft, rich grass make for a relatively safe training space. It’s a popular hangout spot in general, especially on hot greenleaf afternoons.
The Mossy Hollow A narrow clearing where moss grows thickly. It’s considered a beginner’s training spot - the open environment allows mentors to see exactly what their apprentices are doing. “Graduating” out of this area is often a mark of pride for aspiring warriors.
Deadfall Ditch Two big trees that fell into a narrow ditch, their branches criss-crossing into a maze. The trees fell long ago and have since been colonized by smaller plants, lichens, and fungi. As opposed to the Mossy Hollow, Deadfall Ditch is considered a difficult training spot, one conquered only by determined fighters - the tangled branches and slippery trunks make for a difficult battle. Apprentices and warriors alike enjoy training here for the extra challenge.
Newt Pond A nice, weedy pond, situated just west of the Old Path. There’s lots of rich foliage and mud. There’s also a low elderberry tree, serving as the clan’s sole source of elderberries - other herbs include sweet woodruff, horsetail, and valerian. Aquatic wildlife flock here as well, and cats may hunt the native frogs and newts when prey is scarce elsewhere. Newt Pond is widely considered one of the territory’s prettiest locations (at least if you enjoy water).
The Abandoned Twoleg Nest / The Herb Garden An abandoned house with a toppled garden wall made out of cobblestone. The house itself is degrading as well, with a collapsed roof, missing windows, and gaping door. The old garden is overgrown but cared for by ThunderClan’s medicine cats, who cultivate rare herbs here; foxglove, ginger, rosemary, poppy, and sage. Ginger and rosemary aren’t found anywhere else in the territory.
The Old Path Once a dirt road, now an overgrown path through the forest. It winds from camp northwards past the abandoned twoleg nest. It’s used as a trail through the woods and for orienting oneself when lost.
The Greenleaf Twolegplace A campsite in the northwest corner of the territory, situated just beyond the scent markers. Twolegs visit during greenleaf - warriors are careful to avoid it during that time. When vacant, cats may sniff around, but it’s considered too dangerous for further exploration.
Dandelion Glade A nice sunny meadow in the woods, often blanketed by dandelions during the warm seasons. Cats like to come here to sunbathe in greenleaf, making it quite the social spot - it’s deserted other times of year.
Sun-down Hill A hill near the northern border. The land here opens into a little cliff, overlooking the territory - one can sit atop it and see all the way across the lake. It’s considered a beautiful scenic overlook with oft-romantic connotations.
The Lone Ash and the Cave The Cave is just that, a rocky tunnel that twists deep into the earth; its entrance is narrow and marked by a singular ash tree. Unknown to the clans, this cave system connects to the abandoned passageways below WindClan. ThunderClan cats avoid this spot, as they find it frightening or useless, but apprentices might visit to freak each other out.
The Lush Woods A section of mixed deciduous-coniferous forest, widely considered to begin just past Newt Pond and end at Border River. in greenleaf, the variety of foliage attracts many different prey species - in leafbare, birds and squirrels are drawn to the abundance of nuts and seeds. These factors make the lush woods an invaluable hunting ground year-round. Due to its importance, cats avoid cutting through here on patrol, preferring to leave it be and let prey accumulate for later hunting parties.
The Weedy Clearing A long, narrow clearing that runs along the ThunderClan side of Border River. It’s thickly overgrown with water-loving plants.
Border River The river that separates ThunderClan from the neighboring ShadowClan. Generally difficult to cross, given its rapid current and depth - cats avoid entering it, as even wading a few paces in can expose one to dangerous conditions. It widens and slows a bit near the lake.
Splash-cross Point A shallow spot in Moon River somewhat near the lakeshore, this location is used as a crossing-over point from ThunderClan to WindClan land. ThunderClan cats use it primarily to get to the monthly Gathering.
Moon River The river that separates ThunderClan from WindClan. Its current is slow and meandering, though the water is deep in places. It gets its name for how medicine cats follow it north to the Moonpool (the two bodies of water aren’t connected, however).
