11 years of being stalked and harassed by this man

#i genuinely need him to die #he's not just a danger to me he's a danger to everyone #he has no friends and cant keep a job because he assaults everyone #last job he had he lost it because he physically assaulted his boss #I've seen him hit his friends they stopped talking to him yesrs ago #hit me quite a bit too of course #he's the most violent misogynist i know and genuinely thinks all women are whores #his ex is making a case against him now because he told her he's gonna get her pregnant no matter what #threatening her with what he did to me #i have a video of him saying ''if you didn't wanna have a baby you shouldn't have had sex [with me]''#i dated him from 17-18 and he was 20-21 #we're 29 and 31 now and he's only gotten worse #I've had more restraining orders against him than i can count #he's broken into my house before #I'm still 100% for absolishing prisons (he gets worse the longer he stays in there)#but i can't help but hope he stays in there as long as possible because im terrified of him #he's in there right now because he beat up a stranger with a skateboard...#one of the last things he told me was that he made friends w tory lanez but then fought him over giving him ''fake drugs''#(they were in prison together)#(tory lanez is the guy who shot megan thee stallion)#so im sure that says something about his personality too #.bdo

#I understand that this is hard topic to navigate #but me saying that /they've changed Gabe and that's consequently altered the dynamic he has with Sally in way I don't like/#is NOT me saying I don't think what they've portrayed onscreen is non-abusive #or that I WANT to see him abuse her???#its just the guy in the show while clearly controlling and abusive (emotionally and financially so far)#...I don't believe he's the guy who's presence was so horrid and disgusting MONSTERS avoided him #I wouldn't call him /Smelly/#in the book his abuse (all forms) is much more overt #(and just to be painstakingly clear: abuse doesn't have to be overt to be abuse)#but the guy in the show does not have the same presence as the guy in the book #book Gabe is menacing #he growls and he threatens and both Sally and Percy have developed very specific responses to deal with it #I've seen one take saying that people can't recognize the abuse in the show because its not physical (yet?)#but even disregarding the physical abuse entirely #if you compare the book scene and TV show scene of Percy arriving home and he and Sally readying for Montauk #there is a pretty stark difference in tone #and in how both Sally and Percy interact with Gabe #in the book Sally goes out of her way to avoid /provoking/ Gabe and asks Percy to do the same until they can leave for Montauk #and Gabe is just itching for any excuse to keep them home #and imo if Book Sally had said the things that show Sally did to Gabe #Gabe wouldn't have let them gone!#and again im not saying that the show's depiction is nonabusive #or unrealistic #im saying its simply /different/ than the book #and im upset that it doesn't feel like dynamic depicted the book #and no book sally is no simpering wilting flower #but she's also not what they depicted in the show either #pjo adaptation #sally jackson #pjo

Danny loses his parents due to their own lack of safety in the lab (death? Coma? People finally putting their foot down about the Fenton's endangering their kids? Idk pick). Jazz can't take him in due to being in college and living on its campus (and he didnt want to force her into an apartment just to keep him, he saw the prices and knows she'll have to work to make rent) and Danny fears the only place he can go to is... Vlad. (Sam's parents would never let him live with her and Tucker's place doesn't have the room)

Vlad's been lording it over Danny, smug about it all, after all he IS Danny's godfather and he has the space and money to provide for the boy in his time of need.

Only, when digging into Danny's files, his social worker discovers Vlad isn't Danny's godfather, he was meant to be but the Fenton's forgot to send/sign in the final paperwork (even if those documents were the only contact they had with Vlad over the years before the reunion)

Thinking about Elizabeth Woodville as a gothic heroine is making me go insane. She entered the story by overturning existing social structures, provoking both ire and fascination. She married into a dynasty doomed to eat itself alive. She was repeatedly associated with the supernatural, both in terms of love and death. Her life was shaped entirely by uncanny repetitions - two marriages, two widowhoods, two depositions, two flights to sanctuary, two ultimate reclamations, all paralleling and ricocheting off each other. Her plight after 1483 exposed the true rot at the heart of the monarchy - the trappings of royalty pulled away to reveal nothing, a never-ending cycle of betrayal and war, the price of power being the (literal) blood of children. why do people think Yevgeny wasn't Mickey's son? in 3x06 there was clearly no condom used (not that Terry probably would have let Svetlana stop to get one), but there's no reason to think she wasn't using condoms with her regular clients. it's not Svetlana's fault that she was a tool used to rape Mickey—the sole blame for everything that happens in that entire situation belongs to Terry Milkovich and him alone—so why does it feel like it's just another way for people to shit on Svetlana for something that wasn't in her control? it's not as though she'd asked to get pregnant in the first place...

I'm kinda tired of dungeon meshi fans blatantly misinterpreting Kabru's goals, motivations, and character so they can ship him with Laios...like obviously it's awesome if you enjoy Laikabu but can you nooot twist Kabru's intentions for involving himself with the guy who constantly triggers his monster trauma and pisses him off so bad he gets brain damage so that he turns into "the guy who wants to suck Laios's dick" as his entire character? I've even seen people cut off Kabru's words to make it seem like he is admiring Laios because it would disrupt that narrative

Current system experience: my brother said “hey you should watch this show, it’s really good! I think you’ll really like this character” so I watched the show and I really liked the character and then some shit went down and suddenly the character was in my head and it makes sense because he’s a detective and the shit that went down was me being accused of something I didn’t do so ofc I split a detective. Of course I split someone who was able to remain calm and present evidence that shows exactly why I didn’t do this and they should know that, while respectfully insulting the situation as a whole and saying it’s an absolutely ludicrous situation, a baseless, slanderous accusation, downright insulting to us as a person, and a waste of not only his time and intelligence but the time and resources of the higher ups who had to waste their time dealing with something that nobody cares about.

I really don’t think we talk enough about how much Sir John by virtue of being the symbol of (british) empire, intrudes and encroaches on everybody so much. Literally takes me aback every single time I watch the Terror.

He always treats Francis as a subordinate, even on his own ship. He takes the head of the table (when it should be Francis’), he leads every interaction with Francis with superiority- always subordinates him even when he’s trying (so SO fucking poorly) to apologize for them getting iced in. He dictates the menu. He poaches even from JFJ for his journal. He just takes and takes and takes- and is it any wonder Francis resented him so much considering how much of it is absolutely related to the fact that he’s Irish? To the very thing that likely has put him in a subordinate position with most of the navy for most of his life? Something that shouldn’t continue considering his accomplishments and tenure as a captain? It’s absolutely vile.
