I'm starting to think that maybe outie irving sees his innie in a similar way that helena does, ie. a tool he can use to further his own ends. he's clearly got a plan, and he chose to become severed to advance that plan somehow. is he going to be shocked or even angry to find out his innie has spent the last 3 years worshipping the company he's been trying to infiltrate from the outside? he literally created his innie for the purpose of bringing down lumon, and you're telling him he's actually the MDR hall monitor and lumon's biggest cheerleader?? will he freak out if he finds out he's been down there falling in love and getting his heart broken and wanting to LEAVE because of it instead of trying to find the testing floor hallway? innie irv's reaction to breaking out is like the total opposite of what his outie would have wanted if you ask me based on how he immediately goes to tell whoever he's working with that his innie got the "message" (saw the paintings) and that probably means to expect forward movement in whatever their plans are, and instead of pursuing it innie irv wants to leave the severed floor forever. what would outie irv's reaction be if dylan had let him walk out into that stairwell. would he have walked right back in like helena did on her first day?

Jan-New-Ary Day 7/8! I think paradox pokemon are going to be difficult for me to do in the sense that I have done many of their "regular" counterparts and they'll feel too much like remakes, but this one had the additional hurdle of basically being 3 pokemon in one (magneton which is just magnemite x3 and both of which I've already done), PLUS more details. Altogether took 8hr7 and I had to take so many breaks because I was falling asleep a lot. Also this is a good example of a pokemon whose design really isn't that complicated, just time consuming. I love the way it turned out though!

Why do you think specifically Fuyuhiko took a part of Junko? It makes sense why Mikan and Nagito would, but even under the influence of despair I kinda struggle with the motivation Fuyuhiko would have to remove his own eye and replace it. That is, unless he considered Junko a part of him somehow. I think it may be similar to how he promises Hajime half of his life, albeit also very different. I thought it would be fun to hear your thoughts on this!

I think about it lots but it boils down to 3 things that are actually just 1 thing

He wanted to see 'her vision' and got a little weird with it (seen other ppl say this, not my idea)

He's always known he doesn't have what it takes to be ruthless (too soft) and point 1 was a frantic attempt to prove himself wrong

He's just a little insane about the people he loves! Who knows, if Peko or Hajime beefed it and he was in a bad enough mental state he might yoink something of theirs too

Why him and not some other character? Well because he's in the 2nd most important character role besides protag/antag i mean because he had a narratively convenient injury already.

(My non-fiction theory is that they actually did not think that deep about who took what where and just said 'well Fuyuhiko lost an eye in the game so maybe use that idk')

I wonder if Zeb and Jaro Tapal ever met. Jedi often went home to their own people and worlds to help or act as a kind of ambassador? I guess? And if Zeb was directly in charge of protecting the royal family, he'd probably be their go-to guy to pass Tapal onto for any Jedi antics on Lasan. I'm just saying it's not a reach that Kanan and Ezra aren't the first Master and Padawan Zeb's ever met.

I should've given an award to Oh No! Here Comes Trouble last year for the red thread of a fate, but Unknown's final episodes just solidified that this WILL be a Colors Award this year.

Because I just really love when the colors color so fucking well.

The red stairs were a character all on their own.

Those red stairs continuously showed they were connected.

And it worked so well since Qian and Yuan were black and white.

So every time the red showed up between them, it was just a reminder of their connection.

And that they were meant to be together.

Because with Yuan, Qian is lighter.

Without him, he is completely dark.

That red street brought them together.

It's where their story began, both as brothers, and as partners.

And it was extended even to San Pang and Lili.

Yuan and Qian's light and dark dynamic was constantly reinforced.

Again and again

And when Yuan told Qian not to be afraid of the cracks because that's where the light comes in, it reinforced the whole purpose of this light and dark dynamic.

In Qian's dark world, Yuan brought light. When Qian thought he was flawed, Yuan showed him he was loved. Where Qian thought he was broken, Yuan healed him.

So for Yuan to say that he thinks Qian's mother brought them together, and for us to always see in her red . . .

In a painful way, Yuan is right. Qian is who he is because of the hurt from his mother. Qian would have never met Yuan, would have never protected Yuan, and would have never loved Yuan the way he had if he hadn't been so adamant to never be his mother.

And because of that, Yuan can return that love to Qian (while they are balanced in similar colors)

AND THE BLACK BRACELET! (Since Qian is color coded black, him giving Yuan his color is so significant, and now Yuan is giving him back all that love!)

The red brought them together.

And now they get to sit there in this soft blinding light of love in their soft pinks being happy and in love with each other!

Cookie yap sesh under the cut about one Shadow Milk concept art, I am throwing ideas at the wall because I'm obsessed with this design

Listen. Something about loving Earthbread to a point of a fault, but instead of hating the cookies on it like her (and possibly wanting to eradicate them all) Pure Vanilla is so willing to sacrifice himself for everyone and everything.

I am only thinking in vague terms in my head but I could see this cookie being somewhat willing to try and convince Pure Vanilla that this is The Only Way, reaching out to him and seeing that he cares for the animals and plants as well! He loves all of Earthbread too! The cookies are what are tainting it, they are destroying it, they are the ones causing undue suffering, surely he must see that?

And then I thought about Noah's Ark, bear with me.

Like what if she only saw a certain few as being worthy to be able to live on the Beautiful Earthbread, and everything else must be eradicated, flooded, and only the animals and plants can survive the cleansing of the world

But the contrarian in her, who might still love cookies but for all the wrong reasons, might see Pure Vanilla as the only one worthy to stay on the Beautiful new Earthbread, and maybe thinks that she could change him to see her point of view

Sparing him, so he may survive and witness how much better the world is without cookies tainting it and polluting it.

Because, mayhaps to her, since he was worthy of holding her soul jam, he is the only one who understands, who could understand.

One who loves the flowers so, and cares for the sheep like a brother, surely he must see how all of this is turning to waste because of cookiekind! How Dark Enchantress' war path is not only harming cookies caught in the crossfire, but killing the flora and fauna as well! Wouldn't he do anything to stop her?

Like, as with Shadow Milk, she almost doesn't want her soul jam back, not completely. Doesn't see Pure Vanilla as an opposition but as a worthy successor, someone to bring out her plans to fruition with her, where she failed in the past due to the witches interference.

And could possibly do anything to change his mind....

There could be a beautiful world, a pure world where cookies no longer have to suffer because they're all gone and Earthbread can thrive in their absence...

And oh, maybe White Lily can stay as well, since Vanilla seems to care about her so much

It wouldn't do for him to be completely alone on the new Earthbread (sans her)...and maybe he can help her see the truth as well. After all, she is a beautiful flower, and if she's been preserved this long, why not let that go on forever? She could be cleansed of Dark Enchantress and become the beautiful lily she used to be once again...

I have no guesses as to what her previous virtue could be, but just this little snippet alone makes we wish we could have known her.

Bro Silco is like the Heimerdinger of the chembaron council lmao. He is the oldest, founding member who still believes in past noble principles (loyalty, unity, etc), and the younger more greedy and corrupt chembarons/counselors who don’t remember the “good old days”, are annoyed asf with him for it so they try to boot him off once it becomes clear he won’t appease their corrupt, selfish interests over his original noble dreams of progress.
