Some people just characterize Bart as someone who can’t do anything by himself and always needs help from someone which is not true and in fact, it’s the complete opposite.

He literally grew up in an isolated environment where he made up the rules himself and that’s what he’s used to. When he wants to do something he does it. It’s not often that he would ask someone for permission unless that person is required for what he needs to do, which is also never his first option.

Bart likes doing things on his own. He likes being his own boss and he doesn’t like other people bossing him around because that’s just what he’s not used to. He’s not used to being told what to do and what to be like and he doesn’t like it because he’s so used to his own rules and not to the rules of the 20th century.

also, Bart is very smart. Unfortunately, not many people know that. His ways might not be the best way, but it’s his way. It’s what he’s used to and what he likes. He’s great at coming up with ideas even though he’s very impulsive about them and doesn’t look too much into them but at the end of the day, they get the work done.

But yeah. Bart is a very independent hero that does most things in his own way and getting help from someone is never his first option.
