🤔 One could argue that free will doesn't exist. 🌌️✨ That everything in this universe was predetermined since the beginning (if there was one). That every atom and every molecule was bound to behave exactly the way it did, conforming to the laws of physics. So everything that ever happened couldn't have happened any other way. 🧬 From the first formation of life through chemical reactions to billions of years later, today. But hey, at least we're capable of thinking about things like that if we 'choose' to do so. We could also just carelessly enjoy the time given to us without deeper thoughts about our existence. 🖋️... If you look too closely at your life all you can see is a painful and problematic part of it because that's how impactful it is. However, if you were to look at someone else's problems you don't feel the same pain the way feel with yours. You can analyze the situation from different angles. This is exactly how your problems appear to others who see them from afar. They can see the humour behind your situation. They can't feel the pain to the extent that you are feeling because only those who suffer understand the suffering. And that's why when it gets really hard to cope with the tough situations in life, start looking at it from an outsider's perspective as if we are seeing ourselves from afar. Einstein spoke of his spiritual outlook in a wide array of original writings and interviews. Einstein stated that he had sympathy for the impersonal pantheistic God of Baruch Spinoza's philosophy. He did not believe in a personal God who concerns himself with fates and actions of human beings, a view which he described as naïve. He clarified, however, that "I am not an atheist", preferring to call himself an agnostic, or a "deeply religious nonbeliever". When asked if he believed in an afterlife, Einstein replied, "No. And one life is enough for me." Einstein was primarily affiliated with non-religious humanist and Ethical Culture groups in both the UK and US. For the seventy-fifth anniversary of the New York Society for Ethical Culture, he stated that the idea of Ethical Culture embodied his personal conception of what is most valuable and enduring in religious idealism. He observed, "Without 'ethical culture' there is no salvation for humanity." In a one-and-a-half-page hand-written German-language letter to philosopher Eric Gutkind, dated Princeton, 3 January 1954, fifteen months before his death, Einstein wrote: "The word God is for me nothing but the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of venerable but still rather primitive legends. No interpretation, no matter how subtle, can (for me) change anything about this. [...] For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstition.
