While I'm posting my Over the Nexus thoughts tonight, here's a bit of a peek behind the curtain. I have a set of 10 Synchro Monsters I consider to be "staples". By default, every Deck I make has all of these, plus 5 more that are more specific to that Deck, such as extra copies of one of those, non-generic Synchros, or just semi-staples I don't always play but sometimes use if I have room to spare. These are, in ascending order of level: Ally of Justice Catastor, Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, Goyo Guardian, Black Rose Dragon, Colossal Fighter, Red Dragon Archfiend, Scrap Dragon, Stardust Dragon, Thought Ruler Archfiend, and Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. It's kinda weighted towards level 8 Synchros, but oftentimes I need more than 5 slots to fit in everything I want a Deck to run. Usually when it's time to cut things, I start with Colossal Fighter or Thought Ruler Archfiend, because those are the 8s that come up the least for me (though I'm biased towards Red Dragon Archfiend, so maybe other people would cut that first). Usually I try to cut them as a pair, not because they have any synergy or anything, but because it's hard for me to decide which of them comes up more often and it's easier for me to just not think about it

also, meden x princess x hero post patapon 3?
i somehow didnt notice this ask im so sorry.. but sure! whatd you call this ship anyway.. it feels perfect for a sort of -shipping prefix name. il be imagining hero as like.. uberhero, if thats okay!
-meden, after being freed from stone, is incredibly active. stretching night and day and even taking more of a part of looking over the patapons- its like shes making up for not being there.
-princess still feels saddened about being taken over by an archfiend, but meden isnt mad at her. hell, meden reveals she has her own sexual thoughts and that its.. normal. it makes princess not worry so much about what happened before.
-both princess, meden, and eventually uberhero all work together to make sure the rest of the patapons are alright. some even debate if they all are the rulers of the patapons, as princess doesnt mind sharing that title.
-sometimes meden would drip her cloak onto the two when theyre sleeping. she often watches and works late, and the one good thing about it is knowing those closest to her are safe.
-while princess stays home, meden actually goes out with uberhero with monster slaying missions. she wants to be more intune with what the patapons are doing now, and hell, she gets to explore and see more of the land! uberhero doesn't really mind.
-uberhero and meden are actually good fighters together; nobody is really sure how meden became good, but maybe she was just training in secret. besides, almighty and a beloved hero are by her side!

OKAY LAST OF YGO POSTING FOR NOW. I GUESS.
Duelists tend to get like. Spirit partners (aka just the monsters in the card), so I was thinking of the spirit partners of the Blur/Blight guys; some of these are small, while the bigger ones are either.. pocket-sized, or are their Actual Size, but they just don't appear as often as the smaller ones.
Additionally, they can have more than one, which tends to be the case as some of them may have connections to more than just their ace card! So, they have both a regular monster and their ace card as partners!
Also, some of them can talk, some are just making noises, and some are.. both. Either way, they mostly communicate telepathically.
Under readmore since there's pictures!
Hilbert : Masked Dragon & Blue-Eyes White Dragon
Cheren : Kuribon & Ancient Sacred Wyvern
Bianca : Naturia Cosmobeet & Naturia Leondrake
Hilda : Raging Flame Sprite & Sacred Phoneix of Nepyths
Nate : Red-Eyes B. Chick / Black Dragon's Chick & Red-Eyes Black Dragon
Hugh : Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North & Blackwing - Nothung the Starlight
Rosa : Watt Kiwi & Watt Chimera
N : Luster Dragon & Labradorite Dragon
Colress : Krebons & Thought Ruler Archfiend
#Yu-Gi-Oh!#BW/BW2 Rewrite - Blur / Blight#((THIS IS JUST FOR FUN but maybe I will make a Yugioh AU. HSJKAHSKAJHSKA the fandoms are colliding ...))#((BUT THIS WAS REALLY NICE TO THINK ABOUT I might replay Reverse of Arcadia specifically because Nikolai and Slater remind me of it..))

Episode 36.
This episode is written by Shin Yoshida.
The episode begins with Dr. Schmitt finishing his operation on Yusei.
Rally, and co. caught a fever due to the events of the last night.
Yanagi, and Himuro crash to Lua, and Ruka's penthouse. Lua explains Ruka's situation, and how she is frail. Again, this is a Shin Yoshida episode.
Lua assumes Life Stream Dragon is actually sealed inside Power Tool Dragon, and he might be the Last Signer, but Ruka doubts Lua is correct. Others agree. They are incorrect.
This IS a Shin Yoshida episode.
Ruka calls Earthbound Immortals "Jashin" (Evil God), a title used by many other cards, and beings, but most notably Geh, and Zorc.
Lua starts calling Aki nee-chan (Big Sis Aki) from this episode onward.
Others eventually agree to Lua's plan of contacting Aki through the Arcadia Movement.
Aki is practicing against a dummy. The dummy uses The Fiend Megacyber, one of Esper Roba's proto-Psychic cards.
Divine realises that Yusei is on Aki's mind, and he tries to take back control over her.
We see more of Aki's flashbacks, one of which involve her burning her schoolbooks.
Divine states Yusei cannot save her, and only he can provide for her.
One of Divine's followers state Himuro is calling him.
We cut to Yusei, who is still having a nightmare about the last night.
Martha explains the situation. Yusei's initial assumption is implied to be that he is actually dead, but Martha clears the situation. Martha states Crow has left, and while preparing an apple (similar to Mikage in Jack-Carly episodes), she states he needs to get the power of his foster brothers, and friends.
Himuro, Yanagi, Lua, and Ruka are having a fancy meal with Divine, with fancy clothes. Lua, due to being written by Shin Yoshida this episode, gives him every detail he has. Divine leaves, and the gang are drugged by a sleeping agent.
Divine reveals he was planning to recruit Ruka eventually. Prof. Frank Duel already suggested that unlike the usual Spirit Seers, Ruka's power might be Psychic in nature (cause this is a primarily sci-fi series with occult elements, not the opposite as it was historically the case for 5D's), but this will be a dropped plot point later on.
Divine reveals he wants Lua's potential special power, we don't know it yet, but Divine wants to awaken his Signer powers, and by proxy, the latent Psychic powers he shares with Ruka, as implied in the Prof. Frank episodes. Again, the second part becomes a dropped plot point.
This idea would presumably become the idea of making Life Stream Dragon a Synchro Tuner, thus implying Lua might have a lower level version of Clear Mind, but that hasn't been followed upon since.
Lua asks what is the Arcadia Movement, Divine, being written by Yoshida this episode, actually explains it.
Ruka asks Aki why they are being cruel, Aki explains this is a test to awaken his powers. Ruka didn't meet up with Rex, of course, so she isn't aware Fortune Cup was a test to awaken her powers.
After Summoning Thought Ruler Archfiend, Divine presumes Lua has no power, and defeats him. During this, we see Power Tool responding to Lua's defeat.
****
This episode is the debut of Psychic-Types in the animé, which are the new Type introduced in YGO for 5D's era.
Divine's Deck has no particular theme, much like Yusaku with his generic Cyberse, all generic Psychic monsters are theoretically Divine's.
Thought Ruler Archfiend, being the first major Psychic Synchro, will get many variants in OCG.
We may discuss these more in detail in a later post.
This episode is particularly amusing, since most of the dropped, and delayed plot points of this episode come from Yoshida himself, which suggests executive meddling had more to do with these specific plotlines being dropped, than Yoshida's poor planning.
This episode will establish the foster brotherhood between Crow, Yusei, and Jack, and why this specific trio is more important Yusei's other long-time associates.

Nightmell the Dark Bonder
Level 4 WIND Psychic Effect Monster (1500 ATK, 1500 DEF)
You can Tribute 1 monster; Special Summon from your Deck, 1 monster with the same original Type, Attribute, Level, and ATK/DEF as the Tributed monster, but with a different original name. If you Tributed a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, you can Special Summon a monster from your Extra Deck instead that meets those same criteria. You can only use this effect of "Nightmell the Dark Bonder" once per turn.
-
This monster can summon many things that have levels, even from the extra.Â
First of all, tributing itself can get Risebell the Star Psycher, who has a once per turn quick effect to target a monster and permanently increase itâs level by 1.
I was more focused on trying to summon weird stuff from the extra, and finding a match was rarer than I thought... unless you were a level 8 dark dragon.
8 Dark Dragon 2500/2000: Supreme King Dragon Odd-Eyes, Supreme King Dragon Clear Wing, Albion the Branded Dragon, Titaniklad the Ash Dragon, Albion the Shrouded Dragon
8 Dark Dragon 2800/2000: Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Starving Venemy Lethal Dose Dragon, Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom
8 Dark Dragon 3000/2000: Red Dragon Archfiend, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend, Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw, Brave-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Darkest Diabolos, Lord of the Lair
8 Dark Dragon 3000/2500: Odd-Eyes Phantasma Dragon, Chaos Emperor the Dragon of Armageddon, Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend, Hundred Eyes Dragon, Chaos Ruler the Chaotic Magical Dragon, Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon, Dark Magician the Dragon Knight, Borreload Furious Dragon
Those arenât the only options, but they are most of the useful ones. here are some others:
Use Instant Fusion to summon Thousand-Eyes Restrict or Millennium-Eyes Restrict, then tribute it to summon the other one free of Instant Fusion's restrictions.
In a Malefic deck, Malefic Paradox Dragon can be tributed to summon Beelzeus of the Diabolic Dragons.
In a Red-Eyes deck, Archfiend Black Skull Dragon can be tributed to summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss.
Thatâs it. There are other things, but in those cases it would be easily just summoning the monster you want rather than summoning something else and going through Nightmell. There is also probably some interesting stuff to be summoned from the main deck, but I didnât check for that.

Y'know maybe I should sometime post a list of decks I've played in Over the Nexus with brief thoughts on each of them
#musings#yugioh#yes this would be an excuse to talk about my silly digital cards#but i've noticed my library of decks has grown a decent bit#as has my list of decks i WANT to play#most of my decks are my own design but for more established strategies i'll use a decklist online as a base#said decklists usually don't include the extra deck for whatever reason so i usually do that bit myself#i'm quite familiar with early 2011 staple synchro monsters now#red dragon archfiend is my favorite but i know it's not as good as stardust dragon#or scrap dragon i suppose#though i do summon it more than thought ruler archfiend or colossal fighter for what that's worth#it's fun when a deck includes cards that let me play with non-generic synchros#my dark paladin deck (one of the ones i made myself) runs gungnir dragon of the ice barrier because it has water monsters for it#i wrote myself up a document that's basically a list of staples to consider when building decks#plus some little combo packages like triple ryko + charge of the light brigade as a mill engine that doubles as removal#i put that one in my jurrac deck and it works pretty well

fav moment playing yugioh?
Ooh, I have a few, but one is probably back when Dueling Network was still a thing, I had this rp buddy I played with that I called Toma, and we played all the time on DN before it went down, and there was a duel where in the first couple of turns, I managed to summon 2 Synchro Monsters, Magical Android and Thought Ruler Archfiend and was about to summon Dark Paladin, and kept gaining lifepoints, until he just gave up and left the battle. I still have the screenshot
Another favorite moment of mine is kinda stupid, but my little brother and I both play YGO, and we have actual decks and decks in video games, and the main video game we play is the DS game YGO 5D'S: 2010 Reverse of Arcadia, and whenever we play om there, he wins 9 times out of 10, but whenever we use our actual decks, I'm the one who wins 9 times out of 10. So its fun to argue over what way we play. We usually play the DS game, but the rare time we play the actual card game, its really fun.

Themed-day: The Duelist Genesis
Itâs time for the latest in the pack anniversary series: This day ten years ago (and two days), the TCG saw the release of a truly revolutionary pack: The Duelist Genesis. Hereâs a rundown of the first Booster pack of the Synchro Era:
1) First and foremost, the first pack to feature Synchro Monsters, including staples such as Goyo Guardian and Magical Android (a staple of the 5Ds games, at least)
2) The first two Signer Dragons: Red Dragon Archfiend and the cover card of the pack and Yusei Fudoâs ace: Stardust Dragon
3) The release of the Psychic-Type, including Mind Master, Krebons, and Thought Ruler Archfiend (and of course Emergency Teleport)
4) A slew of new Spirit cards, including Yamato-no-Kami, Izanami, and Kinka-Byo
5) The OTK-machine that is Quillbolt Hedgehog.
6) Spell Cards such as: Geartown and Book of Eclipse.
7) TCG Exclusives such as: Herald of Orange Light and Hand of the Six Samurai
That all being said, today will feature three cards from the pack. Hope you all enjoy.
(Become the path its light shines upon...)

Geryon (Archdevil, Planescape)
To really get what Iâm about to say, you need to understand. I goddamn love Levistus. He was the first Archdevil I used and understood as a character. I use him whenever possible.Â
Lately, Iâve been having to find reasons to keep him in my campaign.Â
Not that itâs his fault or that I find him any less interesting. Remember how I said @wesschneider reinvented Mephistopheles for me? He did the same thing to Geryon.Â
Pathfinderâs Geryon is one of those awesome, memorable NPCs that just sticks with you. Based on the image above, you may think Geryon is a triple-bodied humanoid with three snake tails. In actuality, Geryon is a triple-bodied snake that can vomit forth the torsos of anyone it has consumed. Thatâs just metal in all of the right ways for a Lord amongst devils. Add on to the fact that Geryon is actually an asura rana that Asmodeus somehow convinced into betraying the other ranas, along with kyton demagogues and gigas warlords?Â
Best. Archfiend. Ever. (And you know I love me some archfiends)Â
So how do we resolve the continuity snarl that is the Reckoning of Baator while still keeping Geryon an Archfiend and a relevant NPC? What I have done is create a new Archfiend position: Hellâs Traitor. This archfiend acts as a foil for all of the others and plots against Asmodeus openly. Sometimes, I stick with Planescapeâs cannon and say Geryon got demoted to Hellâs Traitor after the Reckoning. Other times, Geryon emerges unscathed, and Levistus is Hellâs Traitor (and letâs be honest, he basically is already). If I want to get really tricky, I have Geryon and Asmodeus pull a long con on everyone to convince them that Geryon is out of favour when heâs really the real ruler of Styigia. Fun times with the Source of Lies.Â
Geryon is surprisingly popular amongst the Dustmen. The Sources of Lies has one central aphorism, âyou are the lie.â Dustmen take this to heart and try to understand all the ways that lies bind the soul to the world of False Death. That doesnât necessarily make them more truthful, but they certainly are reflective and deliberate in their actions.Â
History is nothing but a set of lies we agree upon. While the truth may be the goal of historians, all scholars of the past must make inferences that are based on their own biases and preconceptions, which introduce misconceptions and falsehoods into the historical record. The Blasphemers of the Pasts are a group of Guvners who worship Geryon and make it their business to study these unintentional lies so as to ferret out the secrets of the unwitting liers.Â
The relationship between Geryon and Abraxas is one of the few strong ties across the Abyss and Baator. Both Fiendish Lords are masters of secret knowledge and serpents who have a very loose relationship with the truth. Surprisingly, they carry little more of a grudge than a friendly personal rivalry with each other. That friendliness does not automatically extend to their priests, but the celestial planes find it very concerning none the less.Â
Note: I decided a while back not to do any archfiends until Book of the Damned comes out, barring something major happening. Well, something happened.Â
Wes announced today that he is leaving Paizo to move on to his next step in life. It's a really bittersweet moment. Iâm happy because Wes is excited about this change, but he has written some of the most awesome things at Paizo. His contributions to the game over the last decade will be sorely missed. I think my favourite day writing this blog was the day that I saw Wes was following me and I absolutely freaked out because I thought my writing was nowhere near good enough to warrant Paizoâs Editor-in-Chief enjoying it.Â
Wes, thank you for everything youâve done. You are a wonderful human being and an inspiration to us all, both for the stories we tell and the radical kindness and understanding you show in your day to day life. I wish you all the best and I dearly hope that one day I get to work with you to make our little corner of the world a bit more awesome.Â

Off The Forest Path: An Omenshipping Oneshot
Iâm posting this a day late, but I made it for day 6 of @yu-ri-ohâs YGO Femslash Week. The prompt was âfairy tale/witchesâ. Itâs (very)  loosely based on Little Red Riding Hood.Â
âCarly,â said the old man, âI need you to take this scroll to the town crier, so that the news may be spread.â
âBut, Grandfather, the only way to the town crierâs cottage is through the woods,â Carly protested.
âDo not stray off the path, and wear your read hood, and all will be well, my child,â Grandfather assured her.
âBut, I hear tell in the village that there is an evil witch in the woods,â Carly said, trembling. âI hear that she controls an evil lizard monster that eats girls for breakfast.â
âBalderdash,â Grandfather argued. âThere is no such thing as witches.â
âI-if you say so, Grandfather,â Carly decided, and pulled her scarlet hood over her head as she exited the house, scroll in her shaking fist.
She tried to stay on the forest path, but, soon enough, she became awfully thirsty. She heard the sound of a river rushing in the distance. I know Grandfather said not to stray from the path, she considered. But, if itâs only for a momentâŠ..
Her throat was so parched that she could not help but follow the sound of the trickling water. Soon, she found  a clear stream. She pulled the hood off her face as she bent to drink.
Her eyes went wide behind her round spectacles when she saw, standing behind her own reflection, the figure of a wild, hulking wolf.
Carly screamed and instinctively lept forward, away from the wolfâs threatening maws. She tumbled, cursing her foolishness, into the water. Â Her lungs filled with liquid as she sank deeper and deeper. She thrashed, desperately trying to swim back to the surface, but the current was too strong.
Iâm going to drown, she thought, horrified, as water filled her nose, her mouth, her eyes. Iâm going to die here all alone.
Suddenly, she felt a pair of strong hands lift her from the water, and she found herself choking, soaked, but miraculously safe, on the riverbank. Â A beautiful woman with jet black hair stood before her, smiling.
âDid I die and become a spirit?â Carly gasped. âAre you an angel, here to welcome me to heaven?â
âIâm not an angel,â the mysterious rescuer laughed. âI am a witch.â
âA witch?!â Carly shrank back in horror. âYouâre the evil witch the legends say lives in these woods?â
âI am most certainly not evil,â the woman frowned, looking offended. She gently stretched out a hand in Carlyâs direction. âPlease do not be afraid of me. I promise, I mean you no harm.â
Carly peeked out from between the hands she had used to cover her frightened eyes. The witchâs smile was so gentle, she realized. And the witch had saved her from drowning. Perhaps she was a good witch, after all.
âMy name is Misty,â the witch introduced. âWhat is yours?â
âMy name is Carly,â Carly replied. âBut, many in the village call me Little Red Riding Hood.â
âI care not what the villagers call anyone,â Misty scoffed, âfor they call me evil!â
âThey say youâre the master of an evil lizard monster that eats girls,â Carly recalled.
âI do keep a lizard monster,â Misty confessed.
âYou what?!â Carly gaped.
âBut he is not evil,â Misty corrected. âHis name is Ccarayhua. And he eats no girls â his diet consists solely of evil men.â
âEvil men?â Carly repeated, fascinated.
âAye,â Misty nodded. âRecently, Ccarayhua and I happened upon a high tower, where an evil sorcerer had locked a beautiful witch.â
âA witch?â Carly cocked her head, confused. âNot a princess?â
âHer father was a king,â Misty admitted. âSo, she was born a princess, I suppose. But, the king feared her powers, and wanted to have her executed. So, she ran from home, and fell in love with the wicked sorcerer. He taught her black magic, and so she became known as the Black Rose Witch.â
âSo, she is evil!â Carly insisted.
âI thought that at first, too,â Misty revealed. âBut, then I came to understand that the witch only ever wanted to be loved. The sorcerer manipulated that pure wish, and used it to unlock the witchâs forbidden power. He wanted to make her his soldier, so that he could take over the kingdom, and become the new king.â
âIf the witchâs father would have had her hanged,â Carly wondered, âwhy should the witch care if her father is usurped by the sorcerer?â
âThe king deeply regretted the way he treated his daughter,â Misty explained. âHe had sent his knights to search for her for many years. Â Not to kill her, but to bring her home, so that he could tell her he was sorry, and that he loved her.â
âSo, His Majesty is a good king, after all,â Carly realized.
âYes,â Misty nodded. âBut, the sorcerer conspired to keep the witch away from the king. This was an injustice. And so, I bade Ccarayhua to eat the sorcerer, so that the witch-princess could walk free.â
âWow,â Carly said, awed.
âWitches are seldom wicked at heart, despite what the stories say,â Misty said with a serious look. âIf you would like, little Carly, I could teach you how to be a witch, too.â
âMe?â Carly said uncertainly. âA witch? I donât think Iâm strong enough.â
âYouâre stronger than you know,â Misty disagreed.
âI donât look strong,â Carly frowned, looking down at her petite body.
âYou, little Carly, need to stop judging things by how they look,â Misty instructed. âLook at the wolf whom you so feared, that you leapt into the river to avoid it.â
The wolf padded up to Misty, and laid down at her feet, nuzzling against her contentedly. Misty patted the wolfâs head, and it rolled over, hoping for belly scratches.
âItâsâŠ..tame?â Carly guessed. âIs it your pet?â
âNo,â Misty frowned. âThis is my brother, Toby.â
âYour brother is a wolf?â Carly asked, perplexed.
âNot originally,â Misty clarified. âMy brother was a handsome, charming boy â many mistook him for a prince. But, the wicked sorcerer â the same one who locked away the Black Rose Witch â kidnapped my brother, because he wrongly believed that because I am a witch, my brother must have magical talents, too.â
âYour brother isnât a sorcerer?â Carly figured.
âNo, he is simply a boy,â Misty replied sadly. âOr, at least he was. When the sorcerer found that my brother had no magic, he grew angry and cursed my brother to take the shape of a wolf.â
âWhen the sorcerer died,â Carly asked, âshouldnât the curse have been broken?â
âAlas,â Misty sighed, âit is not so. The sorcerer used the magic of a powerful monster to cast the curse. I am not strong enough to break the curse by myself, for it will not end unless the monster is slain.â
âWhat is the monsterâs name?â Carly wondered.
âThey say the name of the beast is Thought Ruler Archfiend,â Misty revealed.
âIf I become a witch,â Carly decided, âthen, if we both use all our magic, do you think it will be enough to slay Thought Ruler Archfiend and save Toby?â
âYou would do that for me?â Misty gaped, eyes wide.
âGladly,â Carly smiled. âYou saved my life todayâŠ..and youâre as beautiful as any princess. If you will be my master, Misty, I will happily be your apprentice, and become a great and powerful witch.â
âThen, let us both become amazing witches, that the villagers will surely tell stories about,â Misty smiled, and pulled Little Red Riding Hood into her arms.

Using Quickdraw Synchron and Debris Dragon together reads like a great idea until you have to build the extra deck
#yu-gi-oh!#world championship 2011: over the nexus#quickdraw synchron#debris dragon#no deck in over the nexus will make you want more than 15 extra deck slots than junk doppel#it's one thing when you can't fit in a couple of the usual staples like thought ruler archfiend#it's another when you can't even fit in the cool nongeneric stuff like frozen fitzgerald#you might be able to if you cut red dragon archfiend? but you know i'm never gonna do that#also for those who haven't heard of junk doppel before#this is the deck yusei fudo would play if he was a real life duelist in early 2011#like outside of plants and rykos the entire main deck is yusei cards#and the extra deck is his warrior synchros and some dragons#stardust dragon including ofc#if you put glow-up bulb in here you could enable shooting star dragon for flavor#but fuck me if i can make space for that because choosing just 15 synchros for this was hard as hell#i could probably make an entire second extra deck just out of synchros i want to put in here but can't

So what I have in mind rn is like;
WATER-attribute Ritual themed deck for Cheren Slater. Because well. Themes and motifs. If not this, he gets a "stall" LIGHT-atrribute Fairy-type deck which centers around The Sanctuary in The Sky; he can't take damage as long as that card is in the field and as long as he controls fairies.
EARTH-attribute Naturia deck for Bianca, focused around swarming the field and synchro summoning Naturia Leodrake as fast as possible. She utilizes other EARTH-attribute monsters and cards to help, such as Dandelion and Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane. Naturia Cherries are her go-to summon.
Hilda can either utilize one archetype of FIRE-attribute monsters, like Flamvell or Laval- but, I think she deserves the specific FIRE deck I use, with slight tweaks to exclude Uria, Lord of Searing Flames; she utilizes a deck that allows her to quickly summon Sacred Phoenix of Nepyths, while also focused on summoning/swaming as many monsters as possible- she uses a lot of UFO Turtles, Flame Rulers, and Ultimate Baseball Kids, and also relies on passive damage from Dark Room of Nightmare, Backfire, and Burning Land.
Hugh utilizes a Blackwing deck, focused on swarming and speed; like Bianca, his deck is centered around filling the field as much as possible, while also leaving room for his synchro summon, Blackwing - Nothung the Starlight. Utilizes a very straightforward style meant to overwhelm the opponent, while also using cards with revival/return from the graveyard tactics, such as Monster Reborn, Call of the Haunted, etc.
Rosa uses a LIGHT-attribute Watt deck, similar to Misaki from Over the Nexus; the monsters she summons are cute, quirky, and unassuming and weak, but rely on each other and their support cards to reach their potential; she relies a lot on dealing direct damage and hindering her opponent with Gravity Bind to protect her monsters, rather than dealing with her opponent's monsters. Her ace is Watt Chimera.
Hilbert and Nate are in luck considering this is the series with a white dragon and a black dragon; they both have similar dragon-themed decks, with Hilbert's focused on summoning Blue-Eyes White Dragon while Nate's is focused on summoning Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
N utilizes a classic deck, like, no fusions, synchro, etc. He utilizes a classic type of deck like in Duel Monsters, and at most, uses only Tribute Summons. He has plenty of normal monsters as opposed to effect monsters, and he has no set archetype or theme- but he does have most of the classic cards, and his favorite monsters to use are the likes of Luster Dragon. He might also have Jinzo, which negates trap cards.
Colress utilizes a psychic-type deck- which seems kind of out of character for him, since psychic monsters are mostly for healing. But he uses cards that rely on sacrificing his own LP to hinder/damage the opponent, even without using his monsters directly. Uses Krebons, and his ace is Thought Ruler Archfiend.
What if I make YGO decks for Blur/Blight guys. What then

Thought Ruler Archfiend
â1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the GY: Gain LP equal to that monsterâs original ATK in the GY. When a Spell/Trap Card is activated that targets 1 Psychic monster (and no other cards) (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.â

Why does this card's name read like someone tried to make a vagina equivalent of "PINGAS"
#musings#yugioh#dragons#in all seriousness this card is actually the best dragunity synchro in my experience with over the nexus#because the combination of normal summoning dux while having phalanx in the gy lets you summon it very easily#allowing you to equip it with phalanx and summon phalanx again for an easy level 8 synchro#ironically the one level 8 dragunity synchro (in over the nexus at least) can't be summoned this way#because it requires winged beast type non tuners#but that's okay because it doesn't look very good#at least compared to the staple level 8s#i'm honestly considering cutting some of my non level 8 synchros in the extra deck to add more#at least maybe thought ruler archfiend and a second stardust dragon#so i have options
