On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?
*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)
*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)
(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )
(Reblog for bigger sample size if you can, and feel free to explain your answer in tags if there's anything extra to add!)

Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.
Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.
Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!
Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…
And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

tbh i dislike that everyone imagines futuristic wheelchairs as having legs instead of wheels or treads like existing wheelchairs do today. for one, it just seems uncomfortable to sit on something with legs but also, like... i don't want a future where i have to recreate having legs. i want a future where i can use a normal wheelchair with no difficulties

Hey, Hunter!
Aside from the chronic back pain, what other long lasting symptoms did you have from the Rot, if any?
((Okay! So my attempt to answer this somehow developed into a rant about Hunter’s characterization so… here you go lol.))
So I have to answer this on Hunter’s behalf, because part of his character is that he doesn’t like to admit any sort of weakness. Apart from chronic pain, I essentially just gave him the symptoms of low iron. He gets light headed and dizzy, and he is often tired or low energy.
Hunter has this mindset that being weak, or showing weakness makes you useless. (I wonder what could have possibly made him develop that way of thinking. Surely nothing to do with the way he was raised and treated growing up.) Keep in mind, Hunter’s very logical logic only applies to him. He wouldn’t judge Survivor for not being strong, Hunter just has unhealthy expectations of himself that definitely aren’t realistic anymore with his post-rot symptoms, and were never actually that realistic to begin with.
He has a habit of ignoring his own symptoms, and pretending to be perfectly fine when he isn’t. He’d never admit it if his chronic pain is making it difficult for him to function properly.
(His physical health is one thing, but don’t even get me started on how Hunter views his mental health lmao.)
Uhhh anyways bonus light headed/dizzy Hunter:

Whatever problems aside, I adore the painterly (?) take they did with the designs in the One Piece remake- It's obviously not 1:1 but the coloring style reminds me a lot of Oda's earlier color-spreads (it's the white highlights tbh):
It's most likely just concept art but there's just so much life being breathed into East Blue that shows how much care was being put into the world, e.g. the culture of each island, a focus on making the world seem alive and lived in, what materials/items fit already existing characters.
One thing I love that they pointed out: "Themes in the original manga is deep. Like war, or stepping in topics of race. It allows all ages of readers to ponder about it and be entertained at the same time. This is the most intriguing part of the manga in my opinion. This is the fascination of the work."
As a fan of One Piece's themes and character-work (of which they also brought up- highly encourage anyone to watch the full video!), it was nice to see that emphasized. While most of what they showcased were the visuals for the anime, recognizing the heart of One Piece's story made me incredibly happy- even though that should be a given lmao. It's just so cool.
At the end of the day, I'm literally a manga reader so I don't tend to keep up with new other stuff, but what I'm hoping is for this to rope in new viewers who are afraid to start the original One Piece (especially with how notorious regular watchers say the pacing is, esp post-timeskip, + outdated SEs, etc.).
Ultimately I understand that it's not really geared towards me. I'd say read the manga if pacing is such a problem but I know it all boils down to preference in the end. All this presents is another lens for me to view the story in, and personally, it's nothing less.

i havent seen anyone talk about this but Arajin and Matakara remind me of Taichi and Touma so much man.
small dark haired guy chasing a girl he likes. major inferiority complex. complicated feelings about his childhood best friend that have to do with those feelings of inferiority, causing him to initially avoid him now that they're in high school.
Said childhood best friend has no parents and only has his big brother left. He idolises his former friend to a fault, and still calls him by a childish and overly familiar version of his name (Tai-chan, Ara-chan). hes tall and fit and seems to be popular / well liked, but all he really cares about is his (former) best friend.
the bigger one has kept a memento of their friendship for years. best friend power. best friend stone.
ao no flag was all about making choices. bucchigiri is about not running away and facing things head on.
with the way things are going for bucchigiri, it's inevitable that Matakara and Arajin will reconcile, just like Taichi and Touma did
well. maybe not exactly like they did...
