While I was cooking dinner earlier I listened to the post-Singapore GP Auto Action Mag podcast and there were a couple of interesting bits of info that I thought others might be interested in that I haven't seen discussed elsewhere. (also if you want to listen to three aussie blokes chat about how abysmally Daniel was treated in Singapore while eviscerating Red Bull, Marko and Perez then I do recommend listening to the whole DR segment (19:30 - 33:00)

I chose Hypno-potamus from Rise of the TMNT for this prompt :]

I love his character development and how he seems to grow a soft spot for the turtles.

(Note: I chose to draw Hypno in a top hat rather than a turban because one of the writers who worked on the show said that Hypno was not wearing the turban for religious reasons. It was part of his costume. Also, Hypno’s canon design, especially as a human, has similarities to harmful stereotypes of Romani people—so a few of Hypno’s fans on here including me like to depict Hypno with a top hat instead.)

this is (maybe) the next fic in the gearshift series of magical realism fics. i've been severely blocked with my writing recently and i thought going back to my sort of niche might help.

the trope i'm going for with this one is reverse amnesia - basically, oscar wakes up one day and goes to the factory like normal, except it's not that normal because he can't find his car or his lanyard, and when he gets to the gates the security man seems unmoved when he says i'm oscar piastri? anyway surprise surprise, the only person who can remember oscar is lando, and when it turns out that oscar not-himself piastri is getting evicted from his flat, he has to go and stay with him and fall madly in love at the same time as trying to fix The Situation.

and WHY does this happen you ask? will buxton on the post-race show, that's why.

And THAT'S a potential reason why Victim is so viscous to Chosen in The Box; it's not just about overpowering and dominating him, but revenge.
