Hey, I hope you're doing alright! I've been following you for a while but I didn't reblog most posts about veganism, to try and avoid being "that pushy vegan", but I think that's wrong and I do think it's more than time I started using my voice for those who have been silenced. Anyways I just wanted to ask, what do you think are effective forms of activism, especially online? Also on tumblr, do you have any tips for how to get started with activism? I hope you have a lovely day/night Mayo x

I’m not doing too bad thank you! (though I just dislocated my thumb and a finger trying to open a jar of pasta sauce soo...typing with one hand) And that's great that you're looking to take part in more activism online! I absolutely get that there's a lot of pressure form non-vegan not to be “that vegan” but this is really just a tactic that non-vegans use in an attempt to silence vegans. And it's one we need strongly push back against. 

When it comes to activism online, and I will link to some sources that I hope might be helpful to you, generally I think that sharing content from other vegans is a great way to start. Following activists on various social media sites and reblogging their posts etc. I also recommend doing as much learning as possible on all the areas of animal exploitation so that you can respond to carnist arguments more easily. I will link to some vegan activists that I think do amazing work and if you don't already, and I’m sure you do, I would absolutely recommend checking out @acti-veg on Tumblr who is a great example of how to effectively advocate for the animals!

Regrann from @fruitfulvegan - This is my last post from @veganstreetfair Nights what a great event. I did meet a few well known vegans last night which was really cool. The only one I got a picture of was @veganfatkid who doesn’t have an ounce of fat on him by the way. 🤔He is a vegan hottie with a body. 😍 He seems like a really nice down to earth guy and I enjoyed meeting him. I believe he was responsible for picking all the vendors for the event. And he picked an incredible line up. I also ran into @jonny_juicer which I kinda acted a fool in front of him. Hahaha I am kicking myself because I didn’t get a picture. But my brain melted when I saw him because he literally looks like a beacon of health and for some reason it intimidated me. Because I definitely don’t look like the picture of health. I am still trying to figure that all out. Even though I eat healthy 99.8% of the time (starting this year I am allowing myself two vegan food events a year, other then that I eat very healthy and mainly raw) I still can’t quite get all the pieces of my health together yet but I am sure I will figure it out. So seeing him I felt instantly self conscious and I didn’t say the best things hahaha oh well he was nice about it. He has a beautiful and warm smile. I think he is on to something with the juicing though. I was floored by how healthy he looked. He is another vegan hotty 🔥 But be sure to have a pair of sunglasses on when you look at him his glowing health might hurt your eyes 👀 It shines so bright 😁 I also had a sighting of @thoseannoyingvegans I didn’t go up to them and talk to them but I did see them. Ana has such nice skin.
