It's June 1st, which means that 192 years ago Gavroche was telling Enjolras and Les Amis de l'ABC that General Lamarque just died. And Grantaire just realised that Enjolras was 100% serious about dying for the cause for the first time. And his heart broke at the sight of the guns because he knew he was about to lose the one person he loved.
For a cause he didn't believe in.

Okay I thought of this while I was getting smth out of the car a few months ago (don’t ask lol)
Anyway
So, you go to a Lovejoy gig and you’re close to the stage. Will keeps making eye contact with you and it’s almost like he’s admiring you. And of course, you’re filming him, you’re getting this on camera. I mean, who wouldn’t? After the gig you’re outside on the sidewalk and Will comes up to you, guitar (in its case) in hand. And obviously this is after all the fans have left after trying to get the bands attention and you’re just trying to get an Uber. “Hey- I uh, thought you were really pretty and I was wondering if you wanted to go back to my place?” He asks you. Of course you say yes and ask for a picture and hug which he happily accepts. Once the band has gotten all their equipment put up in the van and has sat in said van Will pulls you down onto his lap and snuggles into the back of your neck, leaving soft kisses there. It makes you feel hot and flustered and the band is giggling at the two of you. And when you and Will get back to his those kisses get rougher and move to different places. Then, the two of you move to his bedroom and…. I’ll let you write the rest :)
(I’m sorry this is so long😭)
call me what you like - wilbur soot
warnings: smut{18+},afab reader, oral {m receiving} , rikki getting carried away,
you made damn sure you were as close to the barricade as humanly possible, it was lovejoy after all, and you had a crush on a certain singer. it wasnt often you attended a concert solo, but you made sure to make the best of it, making friends in line and the people around you. the preshow music cuts off and the lights dim, as the boys make their entrance. your phone camera is recording your beloved band, and you notice wilbur making his way towards your side of the stage. excitedly you zoom in your camera, and in a blink and you'll miss it moment, he winks at you. the rest of the concert you began to notice him favoring your area, and making eye contact with you.
the concert wraps and sadly, you didnt get a setlist or will's guitar pick like you had hoped for. the venue empties out, fans now desperately running outside to try and see them board the bus. you began to walk out of the venue and pulled up uber on your phone when you feel a tap on the shoulder. it was none other than wilbur soot himself. "oh my god! i'm such a huge fan of yours!"
will chuckled, "hello, obviously you know who i am, but i think you're really pretty and would like to get to know you." a tall man with shaggy brown hair smiled at you. "y-yeah, of course! my name is y/n." you managed to get out without turning into a total mess. you kindly ask him for a picture before he helps you sneak out the back. the whole time, you two are talking and shamelessly flirting. "i'd love to keep this going darling, why don't you come back to the bus with me for a drink?"
after you snuck into the bus, he realized there wasn't enough seats, and he simply pulled you down onto his lap. "i hope this is okay love, just wanna be close to you." he smiles up at you and kisses your cheek. his arms holding your back to his chest as his placed gentle kisses along the back of your neck, hands rubbing smooth circles into the plush of your thighs. his bandmates biting back laughs and giggles while your face flushes.
joe hands you and wilbur glasses of a clear liquid, and you cheers with them and down the shot with ease. the burn of alcohol in your throat, you smile and wiggle back into will, who's more than happy to be holding you. you do your best to turn around without getting off your seat, and he laughs until you managed to face him. "hi." "hello love." he kisses your cheek once again, then your forehead, then your nose, then finally your lips. your hands make their way to his hair, tugging the chocolate strands gently and if you listened close enough, you could hear a faint moan into the kiss.
the bus finally stopped at his apartment and you both pulled away breathlessly, a flush on both of your cheeks. he grabs his guitar and guides you too his room. "now, where were we?" he asked, placing down the guitar and sitting on his bed, patting the spot next to him. you walked over and instead of sitting next to him you straddle his lap, "somewhere about here." he smirks up at you, his hands finding their way up your back. he pulls you down and kisses you fiercely, hands fumbling towards the bottom of your top, tugging gently as a hint for you to raise your arms. you oblige his request and he does the same. he oogles your breasts, hands tentatively reaching forward for them. "may i?" you nodded your head and wilbur kisses his way down from your jaw to your neck, little purple marks blossoming down his path. he continues down to your clavicle, the finally your chest. taking one in his mouth, the other in his hand. his tongue flicking the sensitive bud while his hand gropes and squeezes, his thumb rubbing over your other nipple gently. once he's satisfied with his work on the one, he switches and repeats. "will, stop being a tease." you whine as he continues his ministrations on your breasts. he smirks and pinches and bites gently, causing your back to arch, grinding your clothed cunt down onto his growing erection. will pulls away, a dopey smile on his face, "sorry love, your tits are just amazing. wanna keep kissin' them." he places one last kiss to each before laying back against the bed, you now on top of him.
"we don't have to keep going if you don't want to darling." his arms are bent behind him, holding himself up. you shake your head, "i want you will, please take me?" another smile on his face as he replies "how can i say no to a sweet thing like you?" his hands rub your back gently as you lean down, now repeating his trail of kisses and bruises to him. as you do so, you shift down off the bed and onto your knees, pulling his jeans down his legs. you can see the growing wet patch near his tip, and he sucks in a breath as you palm him over his boxers. pulling those down too you see his cock spring out and slap against his tummy. he's not very thick, but what he lacks in thickness he makes up for in inches. you wrap your hand around it and stroke it tentatively, watching his eyes clench shut as you kitten lick the tip. "who's being a tease now love?" he jokes, right before he bites back a moan due to you licking down a particular vein, then taking the older man's member in your mouth. his hand makes its way down to your head where his fingers tangle in your hair, making a makeshift ponytail for you. he helps create a steady rhythm, bucking his hips while you keep your mouth open, until he eventually thrusts a little too hard, his large cock hitting the back of your throat. his eyes roll back as he moans, then he quickly pulls out, "'m sorry darling. did i hurt you?" you shook your head no, and to further prove him wrong you took him down as far as you could go, sucking and slowly bobbing your head. "fuck, just like that love. don't stop."
as he got close, he pulled himself out of your mouth. "normally i would return the favor, but i just can't wait to be inside you." will helped you off your knees and back and onto the bed. your jaw ached as he flipped up your skirt, seeing your frilly panties soaked, "all this just for me darling? you got this wet just from sucking my cock?" you could feel his calloused fingers from the flimsy material, whining for more contact. will pulled your panties down and flung them somewhere in the room. "you poor thing, all worked up. don't worry your pretty little head love, i'll take care of you." his thumb rubbed slow circles on your clit as he pushed himself into your hole. "s'fucking tight darling, feels so good."
his hips crashed against yours, the sounds of skin against skin filling the room. your moans of "fuck, will. dont stop." being music to his fucking ears. he leaned down to kiss you as he drilled into you, each thrust harder than the last. he brought his hand back to your sweet spot, rubbing at a speed to match his pace. you always thought he'd be skilled with his fingers but you never could imagine like this. his pace grew frantic and sloppy, eager to chase his release. “come on love, cum for me.” he said, feeling your walls tighten as you grew close to your own.
your back arches off the bed, eyes wide as will fucks you through your orgasm. “such a good girl, look so beautiful cumming on my cock.” he kisses you sweetly, and pulls out. stroking himself until he finishes on your stomach. after running to the bathroom to grab a washcloth, he gently cleans you off, being sure to be mindful of your sensitive area. flopping on the bed next to you he smiles and says “i don’t normally do this, but you’re just so beautiful i couldn’t help myself. tomorrow, let me take you on a proper date.” he kisses your cheek and you agreed. he pulled you close and held your waist. “you know, you don’t have to leave. please stay?”
and the whole night was spent talking and cuddling. you did eventually leave to get ready for your date with him, and he was a perfect gentleman. he drove you home and waited outside for you.
“so, darling, where are we off too?”
thank you so much for reading! as always my inbox is open for requests 💚

Marked Part III
A Bad Batch x Red Dead Redemption crossover AU (with illustrations)
PART 1 - PART 2
Word count: 2002
CW: Stuff you'd normally find in a western story. Swearing, smoking, gun touting, bullet wounds, horse jokes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Why do you keep looking over there? The job is as good as done, Arthur.” Javier gestured with his whiskey glass, elbows planted on the bar top.
“Yeah, have a drink. We earned it.” Lenny nodded with his beer.
“Slow down, Summers, remember the last time you came here to ‘wind down’” Javier jabbed, snickering.
“Shut up, Esquella.” Lenny muttered into his glass as he raised it.
Arthur barely noticed the two bickering. His mind elsewhere. There was a nagging feeling those three soldiers weren’t done fighting yet. The energy between those men was almost as if they could talk without speaking. Their expressions clearly showed they were not ready to give up yet. Like an animal in a snare, biting and scratching to its last breath, chewing off its leg to get away if it has to.
He sipped his whiskey but kept one eye dutifully on the front of the Sheriff's office, just in case, even as the sun went down and the warm light of lanterns and candles became the only way to see.
BOOM. Every glass on every table shuddered at once. Lenny choked on his drink.
Dutch’s boys knew the sound of dynamite all too well. Arthur got to his feet and ran outside, closely followed by his inebriated posse.
The side of the sheriff's station was blown wide open, a gaping hole in the wall revealed the inside of the holding cell, and prisoners nowhere to be seen. Arthur cursed, making eye contact with the deputy inside, on the other side of the bars, standing frozen in shock.
“Damn, these guys might be even crazier than us.” Lenny huffed. Javier sighed with frusdration.
“Goddamn. I can’t believe it.” Arthur couldn’t help but sound a little impressed.
Arthur’s attention went to the muddy ground, to the scrambling footprints, four, no, five sets of boots led toward the main road, then disappeared.
“They got on a wagon, come on.” Arthur growled, then turned to get his horse. This bounty was now officially giving them a run for their money.
“Do you think they heard that?” Wrecker laughed as soon as his brothers climbed aboard the wagon. With a flick of the reins they were off as quickly as Murray could pull the full load. Tech, being the designated driver, climbed to the front and took the reins. They headed south out of the town, the opposite direction of their old camp. It almost felt good to get into some action again, almost.
“Where’s Meggy?” Hunter huffed as he took a seat.
“In here!” His seat spoke. Echo huffed a laugh as Hunter stood in shock and opened the crate. The three siblings in the cargo area shared a reunion hug.
“How touching.” Crosshair caught up to the wagon on Havoc, rifle trained to the sky in one hand, reins in the other. The jet black steed’s nostrils flaring with excitement. “Celebrate later, we’re being followed.” He cast a glance over his shoulder.
Three horsemen coming up from behind caught the light of the train station on the edge of town. Barely visible at this distance, but closing fast.
“Did you bring our guns?” Echo began moving the supply crates to barricade the rear of the open wagon.
“In here!” Meggy handed him a saddlebag from the floor.
Echo moved one crate toward the front of the wagon. Hunter motioned Meggy to take cover behind it. “Do not move from this spot until we say so.” He said sternly. Meggy looked at him with eyes wide open, nodding and sitting frozen still. The intensity in his expression taking her aback.
Wrecker loaded his sawn-off shotgun, Echo spun his pistol, and Hunter turned the safety off of his revolver. Tech urged the horse to continue as fast as he dared into the night. He wasn’t familiar with this road but from his vague recollection of maps it was relatively straight.
Tumblr media
The first shot rang out, splintering through the back of the driver’s seat. Missing Tech’s hip by inches. Being on the wagon meant their aim would be marginally better than their pursuers at full gallop. Hopefully.
Sure enough, it was their three escorts from earlier that came into view in the moonlight. One of them took another shot, but it went wide. Hunter and Echo returned fire, forcing the bounty hunters to spread out evasively. Meggy watched in horror over the crate, covering her ears and not daring to move a muscle as she crouched in the corner. Her limbs shook with adrenaline.
“We are not going to outrun them, we need a plan!” Tech called over his shoulder.
“No way we’re surrendering!” Wrecker bit out as he rolled into the back to take cover.
“I have an idea.” Tech gritted his teeth and veered the wagon onto the train tracks.
“TE-ECH, what are you do-oing!?” Echo yelled, the seriousness in his tone cut by his jostling voice. The wagon wheels bumped violently as they rolled over the railroad ties.
“Blackwater!” Is all he said in response.
Echo didn’t have time to ask more questions, as more shots rang out. A shot went straight through Hunter’s side, and into the crate protecting Meggy.
Hunter staggered, Echo noticed. “Hunter’s hit!” He announced. Hunter was still firing after he stumbled to his knees, Wrecker stowed his shotgun went to his brother’s aid. His close-range weapon wasn’t much help in the firefight anyway.
“We still need more distance!” Crosshair spat, his expression steeling as he thought. He knew that as soon as their enemies caught up with the wagon, it was all over. And they were getting uncomfortably close by the second.
The massive railroad bridge that was Bard’s Crossing stretched high over the yawning mouth of the Dakota River before it spanned out into Flat Iron Lake. Tech was leading them straight for it, an absolute madman, but probably one of the only people who could pull it off. Crosshair couldn’t help but smirk at his brother, the lunacy of the situation.
In that moment, Crosshair realized what he needed to do. He slowed Havoc to a canter. The stallion grunted, wanting to stay with his herd.
“Crosshair, what are you doing?!” Wrecker called out, crouched over Hunter, trying to staunch the hole in his side.
“Buying time.” Crosshair said, releasing the reins to cock his rifle. Using his seat to further slow his horse.
“This isn’t part of the plan!” Tech started to slow Murray.
“Too bad, it is now. GO! I’ll meet you in Blackwater.”
Tech nodded reluctantly, and urged Marauder back up to speed.
“This is not good, we shouldn’t split up!” Echo lowered his pistol, watching Crosshair and Havoc disappear into the darkness. “Running off to be the hero never works Crosshair!” He futilely called after his brother.
After the bridge, Tech steered the wagon back onto the road uncomfortably close to an oncoming train, thankfully still going slow as it left the nearby station. He cast an apologetic wave at the conductor who was visibly angry. They pulled the wagon over as soon as possible, Tech held up the driver’s lantern to check on Hunter. “How bad?” He was almost afraid to ask.
“A little worse than a graze, but I don’t think it hit anything important.” Wrecker reported.
“I’d… beg to differ, Wrecker. Feels pretty important.” Hunter huffed a small laugh which became a groan.
Echo rummaged through the kitchen crate for a whiskey bottle. Handing it to Hunter, who took a long swig before returning it. His face scrunching in anticipation before Echo splashed the stinging liquid onto the wound.
Tech finished by cleaning and staunching the wound with fabric from their triage kit, leftover from the war. They hadn’t had much use of it since then. After the train went by they were left in hanging silence. The tension began to abate, though worry about Crosshair still hung in the air. Wrecker looked out toward the bridge as if he could see his brother through the darkness if he tried hard enough.
Echo turned toward Meggy, still cowering in the corner of the wagon. Still doing exactly as Hunter instructed, staying put. Her face was lined with horror and her eyes were wet, as she hugged her still shaking legs.
“Hey, hey Meggy. We’re okay.” Echo went to her side. She glanced at him, then looked back toward Hunter and Tech. “Here, uh, come sit up here.” He took her elbow. The poor girl looked shell-shocked as if she were the one who’d been through a war. She took his offer to get up off the floor and sit on a crate with him, still shivering.
Crosshair halted Havoc, still on the bridge. He could already hear the hoofbeats of his pursuers pounding on the wooden struts. He deftly uncaulked his rifle and stowed it in the saddle as he slid off. Walking several paces toward the enemy, he raised his hands toward the stars above.
The gang got on their way again. “The closer we are to Blackwater, the safer we’ll be.” Tech assured, steering Murray to ford a shallow creek, letting the loyal beast take a long drink of water before continuing on.
“Why’s that?” Hunter croaked, taking another swig of whisky while trying to get comfortable against a sideways barrel close to Meggy’s seat.
“A few weeks ago the Van der Linde gang were here, and… left quite the mess.” Tech snapped the reins and Murray continued at a walk. “The gang robbed the Blackwater ferry. $150,000, according to the paper.” He added.
Wrecker whistled in amazement. “That’s a lot of cash…”
“It was a bloody affair, the Pinkertons got involved.”
“We should probably stay far enough away from the town if there are feds about, not to mention in case Meg–, I mean our wanted posters have made it out here.” Echo pointed out, casting a glance at Meggy beside him, still as a statue with Echo’s jacket draped over her shoulders. Hunter looking at her with concern, despite being the only one bleeding.
“Meggy, are you okay?” Hunter put the bottle to the side and reached out to her, wincing as the motion tugged painfully.
“She’s not hurt...” Echo pondered. “I think she’s scared, but she hasn’t said anything.”
“I’m okay.” Meggy nodded, and a tear ran down her face. She wiped it quickly, hoping no one saw.
Her brothers continued to console her as the wagon continued into the dark.
Arthur, Javier and Lenny rode up on the lone dark-clad outlaw with guns drawn.
“You’re coming with us.” Lenny spat, leveling his pistol.
“I would like to come to an arrangement.” Crosshair called out. “I have… a proposition.”
Lenny and Javier looked at Arthur, who raised his chin in interest. “Let’s talk somewhere we aren’t about to get crushed by a train.” He responded after a beat of consideration. Crosshair spun around and saw the light of an engine appearing on the other end of the bridge, when he turned back around Dutch’s boys were trotting back to solid ground. Crosshair mounted up and followed.
“You sure this is a good idea, Morgan?” Javier chided.
“Let’s hear him out. It’s our only option now.” Arthur cast a glance over his shoulder in the direction of Blackwater.
Between two prairie hills just outside Blackwater, the Bad Batch gang had settled in for the night, huddled against the wagon with a small campfire. Coyotes yapped nearby, and the crickets added to the chorus with their own nighttime song. Meggy laid on her bedroll between Hunter and Wrecker. Tech took the first watch after he untacked Marauder and brushed him. All five of them were silent with worry since the wagon wheels stopped. Every little sound had Tech looking up from what he was doing, hoping it was Crosshair catching up with them. Wrecker took the next watch, then Echo. Meggy and Hunter were allowed to sleep off the ordeal. The night slid by with no sign of their absent brother.

Author's note:
"It didn't hit nothin' important!!" That scene from the Ballad of Buster Scruggs kept playing in my head while I wrote this. I might add some more illustrations to this later, cuz I still have some ideas, but for now I just wanted to get this OUT THERE. I've completed a rough outline of the whole story at this point, and I'm so excited for the stuff at the climax. I have no idea how many chapters this will be but I'm trying to keep each one around 1.5 - 3k words.
I am so grateful for the positive feedback on the first two chapters thank y’all so much! I am certainly not the most experienced writer, and have been kind of hard on myself with this chapter, but had to keep remembering that this is all just for fun and doesn’t have to be perfect.

Hey I just found this in my drafts:
Hey remember when Joker out got those Finland's Son-In-Law sashes and Bojan was so proud and said "excuse me, son-in-law coming through" when he shuffled past people at the barricade at soundcheck and he put those on on the other boys and then when they came back on stage they were all wearing them??? And remember how he beamed when he showed it to Jere backtage and tried to explain what it meant ("it means YOU'RE THEIR SON. AND WE'RE MARRIED. HOW DO YOU NOT GET THIS") and Jere didn't get it or pretended not to get it and Bojan did the single ladies dance at him?
No wait I imagined that didn't I damn

Tumblr media
“it’s okay, darling. i’m here now.”
the world was hazy all around you. there were the faint sounds of frantic movements into a room, with the noise of your own heavy breathing assaulting the rest of your senses.
tight. the air was thin around you. it was almost as if your own body was trying to suffocate you, your lungs feeling like they were working overtime with how heavily you were breathing. it was painful, and utterly terrifying.
but the sound of that sweet, princely voice kept you grounded, the anchor that you needed to bring you back to reality.
“look at me, princess.” tender fingers gently caressed your face and shifted your gaze to those soft, puppy-like eyes that you remembered falling in love with all over again. yeosang was patient with you, guiding your body through these agonizing ministrations that coiled tightly around your throat.
“there you go..” yeosang hummed softly, gently wrapping his arms around your trembling form, and soothing you to a slower, more steady breathing pattern.
the concert tonight was rough for you. as the partner of kang yeosang, you got the luxury of seeing your boyfriend up close with free access to the pit, straight to barricade with the glory of your beautiful man performing like it was his last night. while it was fun, and quite the sight, the fans around you unfortunately didn’t understand proper concert etiquette. they’d shove, and push, completely disregarding your own protests and cries for help in favor of drooling over your man.
not only was it insulting, you couldn’t even say anything. what could you say over the loud music of guerilla?
you could feel the pressure only build up during the rest of the night. the straw really broke on the camel’s back at send off, when a fan oh-so rudely shoved your body hard against the barricade to try and get a peep at choi san, which made your already quivering body snap, and send you to a full blown panic attack.
luckily, there were medical professionals on standby, and yeosang got to leave early to take you back to his hotel room once you got the help you needed, leading to now… with you still feeling the effects of your panic attack buzzing.
“mmh.. that’s it.. it’s okay..” yeosang’s voice was instantly grounding you. that rich, deep sound slowly bringing you back to reality. coupled with his soft hands caressing your back, your body was soon lulled back into a more proper condition, and your heart rate finally evened out, chest still sore from the tightness it felt earlier.
“feeling better, princess?” he hummed lovingly, and your hazy, bloodshot eyes met his. despite just having recovered so quickly, you quickly answered.
“mhm.” you nodded. a soft sound of contentness escaped your lips as yeosang’s fingers carded through your hair, gently tucking a strand behind your ear. and those damned puppy eyes just never left your own.
he looked so in love with you at the moment.
“i’m so sorry about those people, pretty,” yeosang apologized while pulling you into an embrace. he didn’t even have anything to apologize for, but he did anyways. “if it was up to me, i’d have them banned all from coming to any of our concerts.”
you chuckled. “that’s very sweet, yeo. but i’m fine now, thanks to you and the medics. don’t worry.”
yeosang shook his head.
“i know.. i just can’t help but feel bad.” he whined, you could proactively hear the pout in his tone of voice. you loved it when yeosang got all soft and vulnerable around you.
“i can’t stand the thought of my pretty girl suffering like that.”
pretty girl.
his pretty girl.
that did something to you.
yeosang’s head dipped from your face to between your jawline and shoulder, nuzzling into your neck and gently kissing the skin there. the action was so innocent, but it made your own breath hitch. curse yeosang and his incredibly natural ability to make you feel so hot and bothered.
sensing your tenseness, he kissed your neck again, this time more insistent. “at least let me make it up to you somehow, princess. whatever you want..”
that proposition was tempting. knowing yeosang, he probably would keep insisting until you gave in, and judging by how he was kissing your neck, you had a pretty good idea on where this was heading.
but damn it all, it was so hot.
gently massaging your fingers into his caramel brown locks, before gripping a fistful and gently tugging his head up to meet your gaze, yeosang gasped softly at the feeling, and you smirked at the expression he made.
“what did you have in mind, babe?”
if you having panic attacks led to the outcome of your ridiculously pretty boyfriend fingering you like crazy, then maybe you wouldn’t mind them so much.
“a-ah god—“ you gasped softly, biting your lip while yeosang breathed heavily into your ear, feeling turned on just from your moans alone.
“that’s it, pretty girl..” yeosang groaned deeply, his voice taking on a lower pitch. “you’re doing so good for me.”
yeosang had you propped up against the headboard of his hotel bed, one hand softly parting your bare thighs, while the other was focused on working his fingers expertly into your pretty cunt. yeosang aimed to please, he was a giver at heart. your pleasure was his pleasure, and his fingers scissored skillfully inside of your velvety walls.
you couldn’t help the high-pitched moans and gasps that escaped your rosy lips, especially when your man just knew how to make you feel this good. it was like heaven, and you couldn’t get enough of it. weakly clutching his white tank top, you moaned softly while your thighs trembled, and instinctively closed around his legs.
“y-yeosang—!” you cried out softly, your moans silenced when yeosang’s lips crashed against yours, swallowing any sort of pleasures noise you made. the whining only got louder when yeosang’s fingers curled inside your wet pussy to rub against your g-spot, and then he started to relentlessly abuse that spot with his fingers.
yeosang chuckled into your lips as he rubbed against that spot. his jeans felt impossibly tighter, and his raging boner was almost painful, but the sounds of your moans washed away any thought of his own pleasure, solely focused on you and your needs.
“such a good girl for me,” yeosang whispered breathlessly into your ear, sounding heavenly. “my good girl.”
he sped up his finger movements, and soon all logic was lost. you couldn’t resist the scream that tore from your throat, and your hands flew to tug at yeosang’s soft hair, all while he relentlessly fingered you, the lewd squelching sounds serving to heighten your arousal.
“b-babe— i’m- i’m close,” you whimpered, eyes rolling back slightly into your skull. “i’m gonna come-!”
yeosang chuckled at this, and fully thrust his fingers inside of your glistening pussy.
“then cum for me, darling.”
that’s all it took for the knot in your stomach to snap, but you felt something else in you break as you orgasmed. your body convulsed hard, and a clear, glistening liquid shot out of your wet hole like a jet, wetting the bedsheets a lot more than usual. your eyes widened at the sight, and so did yeosang’s, but your body couldn’t stop, and yeosang’s fingers just kept guiding you through your climax until you were a trembling, panting mess on your idol boyfriend’s bed.
after a few moments, yeosang took in a deep breath, and pulled out his fingers from your cunt, flexing them to see the sticky ateinfs of your essence left behind. chuckling and wiping it on the sheets, yeosang’s lips then hovered over your ear.
“didn’t know you could squirt like that, babe.” he teased, and you felt yourself turn even more red at this. you rolled your eyes and shoved his shoulder playfully.
“shut up.” you retorted. yeosang laughed.
“hey, i’m just saying! it was pretty hot too.”
you hummed at this, and let out a soft sigh of contentness when yeosang’s arms wrapped around you and pulled you into a spooning position, resting his chin on the top of your head.
he then shifted his face to plant a kiss on the top of your head, burying his nose in your hair and breathing in your scent.
“feeling better now?” yeosang asked while pulling you against his chest.
you hummed and nuzzled into his body, resting your hand against his chest.
“mhm.”
and yeosang smiled at this, knowing his pretty girl was happy now because of him.

warnings: gore descriptions of animals, mention of walkers (obv), and some cussing if you count that,,
pairing: soft!s4!carl grimes x reader
kind of an au where rick doesnt pass out and carl & judith reunite immediately after the prison era (if that makes sense)
Tumblr media
I HAD COMPLETELY forgotten why i was here, i was supposed to be scavenging.. but i got side tracked by a cluster of ducks off the edge of this pond.
they all looked oddly peaceful, even when walkers were snarling quietly behind the doors of the barricaded houses from when the world went to absolute shit.
my keys dangled loudly from my pant pocket as i crouched down, but i no other place to put them because i lost my bag a while ago, probably nabbed by a walker that was wandering around and i didn't notice.
a duck waddled by my feet slowly, something in its mouth. "whatcha got?" i whispered, the duck looking me straight in the eye before dropping the item on the dewed grass.
i picked it up slowly, inspecting it. i realized after a solid 15 seconds of looking at it that it wasn't anything interesting — just a piece of overly rusted metal.
i shoved it in my back pocket before getting up from my grass mound i had made, and set off to wherever i found solace in for the time being.
a duck quacked behind me loudly, but i ignored it before i heard the crunching of flesh. i turned around hesitantly, a sob slipping between my lips as i saw multiple ducks being torn apart piece by piece — blood spurting everywhere.
i turned around before the walkers could notice i was still there, using all of my strength to climb up one of those tall, darkened trees until they disappeared.
Tumblr media
EVEN AFTER SOME time, i was still stuck in that damn tree. why did i even fucking choose to go up here? i knew they wouldnt leave until the sun rose — chasing after it idiotically.
i think i started to doze off before i heard a gunshot ring through my ears — watching the walkers being shot from probably about two or three spots.
i sat up after they all dropped to the ground, my feet swung over the trunk. i guess the people that killed them hadn't realized my presence.
"who are you?" an older man had shouted out, i guess he didn't realize i was a damn kid but, better safe than sorry.
i called out my name before all three of them seemed to relax, the same man who yelled at me had beckoned me to come down.
"you all look rough," i said, crinkling my lip backwards for a second. i never really had a filter — but that didnt seem to affect any of them.
"yeah — we probably do," the woman said. her voice was nice, she sounded kind. well, some people are straight up horrible and they sound sweet as a damn peach tree.
"i'm michonne," the woman said, seeming to grin like she couldnt do anything but.
"i'm carl!" the young boy introduced himself enthusiastically, smiling. why did they all smile so damn big?
"rick," the older man husked out, not smiling. well, finally one with some sanity i guess.
after a few seconds of silence, carl handed me a piece of chocolate that was half melted. "do you like candy? i have more at the house —" he talked with a certain enthusiasm i couldnt reciprocate, especially after watching those ducks being torn apart.
rick interrupted him, "we can't show them the house! what if they have people?" rick whispered, but i heard every word.
"i lost my people 'bout a week ago. mainly just sticking to this neighborhood for now," i spoke up. i didn't want these damn country people to conspire about me.
"dad, let them come to the house!" carl pleaded, "they seem nice, and its already like nighttime now."
rick was in thought for a moment, putting his hand on his chin as his gun slacked in the holster.
"yeah — c'mon. it's gettin' late, kid."

I’ll Eat You Whole
Bob Velseb/Reader | Ch: 1, First Encounter
• Word Count: 5,217 •
When a scare-actor comes across the real-deal, you barely manage to escape by the skin of your teeth. However, in the aftermath of your encounter, you’re left with more questions than answers.
Who was he? Why didn’t he kill you when he had the chance? And why was he kinda…
Anyways. Now caught in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, you have to quickly figure out what role you play. Will you survive? Or will you be swallowed whole?
Wild cackles spill from your throat, disjointed and borderline hysterical. A giant chainsaw roars to life in your hands, the bloodied business-end a warning. The constant vibrations from the motor making your very bones feel tingly and near numb with pins and needles.
The blood coursing through your veins feels electric, super-charged in a way that you only ever feel when you’re giving chase.
For all intents and purposes, you were dressed to kill.
Ahead, a group of teenagers shriek for their lives, pushing and shoving at each other in a desperate mad scrawl to escape.
Giggling dementedly, you cheekily taunt the pair. Some cheesy one-liner that you’ve already used maybe thirty times tonight.
In response, the blond, shaggy haired boy unkindly shoves at his friend, looking honestly a little pale. God, you hoped he wouldn’t vomit. The last thing you needed was for this kid to puke in your section.
“Damn it— move Craig, move! They’re coming right this way!”
Craig, you’re assuming, laughs mischievously. Arms and legs spread out wide and hooked onto the exit’s doorframe like a human barricade. Effectively blocking his friend from passing through, reveling in the panicked shouts and desperate pleas to move.
“Chill! They’re not even that scary!” Craig manages between full-bellied chuckles.
You cluck your tongue, bouncing from foot to foot impatiently. You had a strict schedule, and didn’t really have the time to play a game of chicken with these two before the next group passed through.
Panting, you try to subtly rub your face against your shoulder, sweat-slicked baby-hair clung uncomfortably to your clammy skin. Slowly, as to not alert the oblivious pair as they squabbled, you crept forward. Quietly making your way over, inch by inch, until you were only a meager three steps away.
“Fuck you Craig! I swear to god, if you don’t move in the next five seconds, I’m gonna—“
Reaching down, you cut the power to your chainsaw. The pair, still oblivious and too caught up in their back and forth, fail to notice the abrupt silence.
Before anymore grating arguing can spill, your reach out, gently reaching over the blonde’s shoulder and gently poking the troublemaker with your index.
The pair, having momentarily forgotten all about you, whip their heads around. The action is done so quickly, you’re half surprised they hadn’t snapped their necks. Their eyes were wide and terrified as they watched with bated breath. You offer nothing but a playful little finger wag; deceptively casual, before lunging forward and delivering a scream so fried, most metal-heads would’ve applauded.
You barely have enough time to clear your throat before the teens are tripping over one another, a messy pile of limbs as they half-crawl on all fours. Before then remembering that, yes, they did indeed have legs. And that yes, they should probably use those.
Man, you loved Halloween.
Hours later, and the haunted house’s endless waves of shrieking crotch-goblins and thrill-seeking teens had finally slowed to a light trickle. Granted, it wasn’t all that surprising. With it being the busiest night of the year, after all. The attraction had been at near full capacity all night, guests squashed together like canned sardines with seemingly no end in sight.
It wasn’t until just a little after midnight when the non-stop traffic of people had finally slowed to a trickle, that you realized just how loud it had been. The abrupt quiet left only the looping audio of groaning ghouls playing from outdated speakers hidden in dark corners. You’d honestly forgotten there was any background ambience to begin with, when all you could hear for eight long and grueling hours was the screams of the horrified.
God, you were so glad you had the foresight to bring a bottle of Tylenol with you.
With little more fanfare, the annual haunt had officially closed for the year. The end of the final shift was marked with exhausted high-fives, sighs of relief, and more than a few of your coworkers tearing off sticky prosthetics like their skin had been itching something fierce for hours.
Quickly, actors were dispersing and heading home for a well-earned night’s rest. But not you.
No, you’d gone and volunteered for one last task: the final sweep.
It was your favorite part of the job. Wandering through the darkened maze of the building, making sure no drunk idiots had keeled over and passed out in a coffin or gotten stuck between the walls of the mirror maze. Occasionally, you’d even find a late-night straggler who thought it’d be the bee’s knees to hide and loiter around until everyone left. Those ones were the best. Scaring the hell out of someone who thought they were smarter than the rest? Totally oblivious that they weren’t alone, and wouldn’t have the last laugh?
Better than any therapy session. Free, too.
Tonight felt different, though. The air seemed heavier in the aftermath of the long season, as if the building itself was holding its breath. But maybe that was just your imagination. It was all too easy for these dark corridors to play on your anxiety.
Shaking it off, you adjusted your grip on the prop chainsaw you carried, the dull heft of it a grounding weight. Despite the fact that it wasn’t real, it still gave you an illusion of safety.
As you tiredly shambled your way through the maze of halls, fantasizing about your plush mattress waiting for you back at home, you trod into a room chalk-full of fog. The familiar, smokey scent a pleasant balm over your pulsing migraine. Someone must’ve forgot to turn off the fog-machines, you figure. You couldn’t really find it in yourself to blame them for wanting to go home as soon as possible after tonight.
Turning a corner, you stop dead in your tracks as your eyes hone in on a distant shape.
Ahead, barely visible in the foggy gloom, was the hulking silhouette of a person.
Your heart gave a little leap of excitement. A straggler, ripe for the spooking!
Grinning, you bend your knees into a half-crouch, keeping close to the wall as you quietly crept forward. The flickering lights overhead did little to illuminate the figure, but you didn’t need to see much. You knew this maze like the back of your hand and could strut these halls blindfolded. No dumb teens stood a chance against you.
Close enough now to start feeling the ramping rush of adrenaline, you gave the chainsaw in your hands a few hard tugs. It sputters. Once, twice, before roaring to life on the third pull. The sound of the faux engine roaring to life bounces against the walls of the narrow hall, creating a cacophony throughout the desolate space.
The figure, hunched over something on the ground— please don’t be vomit, please don’t be vomit— straightened slowly. And kept straightening up, reaching a towering height all the while remaining completely unbothered by your approach.
Well. That wasn’t the reaction you’d been expecting. Usually, this was the point in time where people screamed, turned tail, and ran. Or at the very least flinched in surprise.
Real or not, people had a tendency to allow fear to overtake their rationality. It was hard not to, when somebody was chasing you, swinging around a chainsaw in an enclosed space. There was little time to think, just scream and run. Which was great for you.
Annoyed, you take several menacing steps closer, brandishing your chainsaw and revving the engine promisingly. It typically made even the most jaded customer uneasy. But the figure didn’t even react. Was this guy deaf?
“Alright, tough guy,” you muttered under your breath, squinting to get a better look at them.
Through the flickering lighting, you could just make out a worn, burgundy turtleneck and a matching devil mask to boot. Pointed horns perched atop their crown, casting jagged shadows across the walls. In one hand, they held a cleaver—large, wickedly sharp, and dripping with what looked unmistakably like blood. Thick, dark rivulets of it that clung to the blade and fell in slow, pattering drops onto the floor.
Oh. So maybe not a guest.
Sighing with slight disappointment, the muscles in your legs that’d been tensed in preparation to give chase slackened.
“Nice getup,” you called out over the rev of the chainsaw, lowering it slightly before cutting the power off altogether in order to be heard more clearly.
“Sorry— thought you were a guest. Y’know, we closed like… Half an hour ago, right? You can go home.”
The figure tilted their head, confused maybe, before turning towards you fully. Behind them, something was sprawled across the floor—a crumpled, unrecognizable heap in a pool of blackened liquid.
You squinted, trying to make sense of the shape. Some kind of prop, probably. From your vantage you could just make out bone-white, jutting ribs blooming from the gorey mass. Indescribable lumps spill from the open cavity, glistening in the low-light. Most likely meant to look like exposed guts.
Your stomach roils unpleasantly at the sight. That was some pretty convincing stuff. Not typically what you saw in here, considering this haunt advertised itself as nothing too intense— for the younger audience.
Your attention is redirected, when the stranger shuffles closer.
“Didja know,” they spoke— tone baritone and unmistakably male, with a honeyed southern drawl, “human meat tastes most similarly like pork?”
You shuffle in place awkwardly as the man completely ignores your previous words. Your brain buffers, struggling to formulate the right words. Quickly, you decide to go with the tried and true method when dealing with odd social encounters. Polite enthusiasm.
A nervous laugh bubbles up in your throat, forced and strained.
“That’s… uh, great trivia,” you stammered, looking around, confused. Why was he insisting on dragging out the bit? It was just the two of you. Right? “Um. You really don’t have to keep acting though. Like I said before, we’re done for the night, so…”
You trail off as the man took another lumbering step closer, his boots squelching in the messy viscera underfoot.
You stepped back instinctively at his unhurried advance, your gaze darting between the cleaver in his fist and the mangled body behind him. It wasn’t real, right? It certainly didn’t feel real.
Yet all the while something kept nagging persistently in the back of your skull, your gut telling you something was deeply wrong here.
Why don’t you remember this guy? Surely you would’ve seen him at least once in passing if he worked here? Yet try as you may to recollect your scrambled thoughts, you can’t for the life of you recall.
Faintly, you heard the ‘whoosh’ing of the overhead fan as it was powered to life. One of you had tripped the motion trigger, a practical effect meant to disorient you. Bombard your senses and overwhelm the intended target for a better scare— or something along those lines. The finer details escaped you in this moment.
It was only as a fresh burst of circulated air wafted in your direction, that the smell hit you. You were expecting something mildly sweet. Like liquid corn-starch and colored food-dye.
The scent that assaults you instead, is anything but. Coppery and acrid, like licking a battery.
This was real. Like, really real.
It hits abruptly, and it hits you hard. The chainsaw in your hands suddenly felt too light, too useless. You took a half-step backwards, swallowing hard as a cold dread crept up your spine.
The pounding war-drum of your pulse roared in your ears as panic began to set in. “Okay,” you said, your voice thin and wispy.
You swallow again, clearing the cotton-dry feeling in your mouth and try injecting some authority back into your tone. You don’t think you quite hit the mark. “Okay. Uh, You’re— You’re not supposed to be here, man.”
The stranger says nothing. Just smiles and stalks forward, cleaver raised and poised to slash.
Alarm bells blare in your head as you backpedal, frantically twisting to turn back the way you came.
He lunged.
You barely had any time to throw the chainsaw up between you as the cleaver arced through the air. A resounding ‘crack’ rippled through the air as steel met cheap plastic, the force of the swing knocking the prop straight out of your hands. As it clattered to the floor, useless, you only had one thought.
You were so screwed.
You scramble to keep your balance and maintain a sliver of distance as the man advanced, his movements slow but deliberate. Like a cat batting around a mouse.
In one sudden move, he swung again, forcing you to dodge with a wild stumble to the side. The motion sent you skidding on the slick floor, your shoes struggling to find traction on the grimy surface smeared with blood.
Turning your head to the side, you just now notice the man’s sweater-clad arm brushing against your cheek— caging you in.
He’d missed— No, that’s not right. You’d dodged.
The giant cleaver was stubbornly embedded into the wall beside you, right where your head had been not even a second previously. And it was stuck.
With a panicked noise, you duck under his right arm. Narrowly escaping him as his left hand had just barely brushed against the back of your costume.
“Shit!” you hissed, your heartbeat thundering in your chest. The acidic stench of gore clawed at the back your nostrils— it’s real, it’s real!—, threatening to gag you as you struggled to wrangle your limbs into cooperation and go.
Behind you, you catch the sound of the man grunting as he ripped his weapon of choice out of the wall. Quickly followed by his deliberate steps behind you, steady and unhurried. Completely sure of himself.
It only served to spur you into a clumsy, mad sprint.
The maze of hallways felt suffocatingly narrow, the walls pressing in on you with every corner you turned. Your mind scrambled for an escape route, or-or a familiar face, for anything at all that could give you an edge. But the layout, once so familiar, now felt like a disorienting trap.
Behind you, the man’s steps falter, the sound echoing faintly in the cavernous space.
You turned your head, just a cursory glance over your shoulder to gage his distance, but that split-second look had cost you.
Your foot hit something—a stray, thick cable for some electronic or another. Your balance vanished, and you went down— hard. Your palms shot out before yourself, slapping the cold and sticky floor. Pain shot up your wrists as they took the brunt of the impact, but it barely registered in your panic-addled brain.
The heavy thud of boots snapped your attention back to your aggressor, and you looked up to see him closing the distance. The cleaver raised high, winking promisingly in the stage-light.
Feral and desperate, you crawled back on your elbows. No other thought in your brain except to get away.
Another step forward, and his foot caught on the same cord that had betrayed you. His confident stride faltered, his boot sliding out from under him.
It would’ve been a comical sight in literally any other circumstance.
As he stumbled forward with a startled grunt, his massive frame pitched off-balance as he wildly swung his arms outwards in a desperate search for purchase.
It wasn’t much of an opening, but a split second decision needed to be made.
Adrenaline pumping through your veins, you surprise yourself.
Instead of taking the opportunity to keep running, like literally any other sane person would do in your situation, you’d leapt. Right on-top of your attacker.
Your arm whips out and catch’s his neck, capturing him in a headlock. Or it would’ve, if the damn guy wasn’t built like a fucking rottweiler.
The man lets out a noise between a half-aborted chuckle and cough at the unexpected restriction. Large hands scrabbling for purchase against your forearm, nails raking angry red lines across your skin. You curse at the slight sting, yet remain firmly saddled to his broad back, legs firmly locked at his sides. Even as he wildly thrashes, you hold on with all your might— like you would on a bucking bull at the carnival. Knowing you’d be facing pain far worse than a few scratches if you failed, you swing your other arm around, firmly clasping your hand against your opposing wrist and pulling it taut as hard as you could. The muscles in your arms burn at the prolonged stretch, but no matter how much it aches and feels like your arm could pop out of its socket at any moment, you hold firm.
“Feisty lil’ treat, ain’t’cha?” The mysterious man manages through a gasping grunt, meaty digits wriggling between the space of your arm and his reddening neck.
White-hot anger sears at the forefront of your mind. Just who the hell did he think he was? You did the scares and crappy one-liners around here, bitch.
With a snarl against the nape of his neck, his onyx hair tickling your nose, you act on impulse.
Before anymore teases or taunts can be made in that southern drawl you’re quickly coming to despise, you bare your teeth and bite down at the exposed clammy flesh just peeking above the burgundy sweater smattered with someone else’s blood.
Your attacker gasps, stumbling backwards as he vainly attempts to reach behind himself and dislodge you. All the while you clamp down harder, teeth aching with the force not meant for your blunt pearly-whites.
The acrid, metal tang of iron bleeds onto your tongue— a bitter taste that you’re thankfully not subjected to for long as the mountain of a man loses his footing once again. The wires looping around his ankle in the struggle. Sending him stumbling backward one, two, three paces before his back harshly met the wall.
Ergo, you as well.
The abrupt force of the entirety of the man’s weight hitting you like a freight train, pinning you against the wall, is already bad enough. What makes the shitty situation even worse, is that your aggressor wastes no time in taking your momentary shock and striking.
Lighting quick, you don’t even have time to shout or attempt rolling away as an elbow jabs into your diaphragm with startling accuracy.
The response is instantaneous, as the muscle in your chest seizes— momentarily paralyzed.
You crumple inwards, leaning against the grimy wall for support as you gasp and heave for air. All the while uselessly clutching at the collar of your shirt, struggling and fighting for oxygen that your lungs are seemingly incapable of drawing in at this moment.
Faintly, out of the corner of your eye, you recognize the stranger as he stalks forward. Knife clutched in an angry, white-knuckled fist.
As you’re kneeling hunched on the floor, breathing in harsh pants— but breathing, nonetheless— your eyes dip downwards. Catching the slim portion of skin peeking just above the collar of his stained turtleneck, nearly as red as the devil mask he dons as a result of the damage you’ve wrought.
‘Bites and strangulation’s a good look on him.’ You think to yourself deliriously, as a toothy, blood-soaked grin tears proudly across your face.
The man, taking notice of your face smeared with his own blood, cocks his head to the side. Considering.
Defiantly, you jut your chin upwards. Wordless in your challenge but a challenge nonetheless.
Devil-guy chuckles at your show of bravado, his own smile hitching impossibly higher, the pinks of his gums winking at you.
With a thudding step, and another, he shambles towards you. Stalking. Slow and steady, completely unbothered. He’s got you backed into a corner now and he knows it. Wants you to know it, too.
Feeling hopeless, you can do little more than press yourself flush against the wall. With nowhere else to go, and sufficiently crowded by this guy, you brace for impact.
Squeezing your eyes shut, you feel the heavy, damp breath fanning over your sweat-slicked face as he leans over you. Even without your eyes open, you can feel the lofty weight of his unabashed staring. Despite this, you resist the urge to kick or swing. You already knew it was futile, and anymore resistance would surely be met with a swift rebuttal.
The moment stretches on, a long silence filled with nothing but your intermingling pants occupying the cramped space. Faintly, you hear the looping audio of the haunted-house’s ambient audio. Previously, you’d already had a strong dislike for the downright cheesy moans and groans of the supposed supernatural, interspersed with distant howling. However, in this moment, you despise nothing more. As for the umpteenth time, a distant shriek pierces the quiet. It feels mocking, somehow.
Something warm and wet drips onto your cheek, rolling down your flushed face. Goose flesh erupts along your shoulders as you nearly jump out of your skin at the unexpected sensation. Thankfully however, you do nothing more than flinch, before cautiously peering through squinted eyelids.
Above you, your attacker openly drools. Spittle forming and accumulating along his bottom lip, before trailing down his chin. All while his wobbly pupils minutely shift, raptured and ravenously watching every micro expression flitting across your face.
Nervously, you gulp. Before reflexively wetting your own lips in a practiced, anxious habit. It’s not until you taste copper that you remember you still have flakey, dried blood staining your maw. Gross.
The man above, however, has clearly different opinions as he erupts into a full-bodied shiver. The tips of his ears flushing a bright pink.
Okay. Noted.
He lingers, eyes eagerly raving over the dried streak of blood on your lips with unnerving intensity. You squirm, uncomfortable and feeling like a pinned frog, ripe for dissection. Something feral flits across his expression as you wriggle, a startling hunger, before he raises a hand to wipe the drool from his chin with the back of his sleeve.
“Look at’cha,” he mutters, his voice low, husky. There’s a disconcerting undercurrent of amusement beneath the words, like he’s speaking more to himself than to you. “Wild as a bearcat. ‘Love it when they got a bit of fight in ‘em.”
He squats down to your level, his massive frame moving with surprising grace. You’re keenly aware of just how little space exists between you, his knees nearly brushing yours as his free hand, fingers wide and blunt, presses firmly to the wall beside your head. A cage. One he doesn’t intend to let you squirrel through this time.
Seeming content to just stare at you for the moment, cleaver still clutched in his other hand and catching slivers of light. Angling it lazily, almost conversationally, near your face.
At your clear terror, he withdraws. You relax— at least, as much as you’re able to in this guy’s presence—, a shaky exhale leaving you as he does so.
It doesn’t last long though, of course. As you’re once again tensing up all over again, breath hitching as he raises it to his own mouth instead, the flat of the blade skimming his lips. He slurps at the excess there, his tongue then darting out to lave over the steel, before finally pulling it away. His smile widens, and he makes a soft sound, thoughtful. Like he was out taste-testing cheese and not savoring the blood of the innocent.
“You—” your voice cracks, chest aching, lungs still struggling to catch up. You cough and try again, forcing as much venom as you can muster into your words. “You’re sick.”
“And yer stupid,” he counters quickly, his grin unwavering, a flash of teeth that gleam wetly in the pale light. “But I don’t reckon that’s news to either of us.”
A tense moment of silence passes.
“Ya bite hard,” he muses, disrupting the momentary quiet. As though that’s a normal thing to compliment. Is it a compliment? “Bet’cha I bite harder, though.”
The words sink in slowly, and your stomach twists, blood flushing up your neck. Something in your expression—your attempt to recoil while still pressed helplessly to the wall—delights him further. Like you’re tethered together by a string, he follows your pitiful attempt for personal-space. Never letting you forget for even a moment how helpless you really were.
“Ya weren’t s’pposed to be here, treat.” His free hand lifts from the wall, fingers brushing against the sweat-slicked edge of your jaw. The touch is light, deceptively gentle. However, it’s ruined by how his hands feel like a loaded gun against your skin. Knowing that at any moment, he could snuff you out.
He drags his thumb down your jaw, just barely grazing the space between your lip and chin. The blade stays in his other hand, ominously idle but never forgotten.
You jerk your head to the side with a sharp inhale, dislodging his touch, and finally manage to spit out a weak, “Don’t.” You didn’t even really know what you were refusing. The nickname? Touch? Your inevitable demise? Maybe all of the above.
He chuckles fondly—a deep, guttural sound that reverberates in your chest, too close, too intimate. “Sure thing. Treat.”
Your fists clench at your sides, nails digging into your palms hard enough to leave stinging crescents in their wake. “What do you want?” you snap, the edge of your voice sharper now despite the wobble. You’re desperate to gain back some sense of control, some foothold in this surreal nightmare.
His grin softens, just slightly, into something more contemplative. “Want?” he repeats, as though tasting the word on his tongue. “Don’t’cha see, darlin’? I already got what I want.” He leans in even closer, his forehead almost brushing yours.
The words hang in the air like a death sentence. Your stomach flip-flops, dread curling tight in your abdomen as his hands wander again, finally transferring off and away from you.
His proximity feels suffocating, but despite every rational instinct screaming at you to do something—anything—you find yourself frozen. Not just in fear, but in something else. Something other than self-preservation.
He’s terrifying, sure. But there’s something about the way he looks at you, a wild fascination that unsettles you to your very core, yet holds you immovably still. That kind of obsessive attention fixated solely on you, like you’re the only thing that exists in this moment. You’ve never had someone look at you that way before. It was frighteningly addictive.
“Ya feel that, don’t’cha?” he murmurs, his voice dropping to a near whisper, almost conspiratorial. “Yer lil’ heart, pounding away? That’s a once ‘n a lifetime feelin’, treat.”
Yeah, because he fucking kills them right after.
“I could kill ya right now, y’know,” he says it so casually, as though he read your mind. His grip on the knife shifts, and he raises it just enough for you to catch a glimpse of that glinting steel once again. “Wouldn’t even be hard. Like squishin’ a baby bird.”
Your nose scrunches, but you refuse to buckle and give him the reaction he’s clearly fishing for. “Then why don’t you? Hurry up and get it over with, prick.”
He doesn’t answer, doesn’t get the chance to, actually. As a scream echoes down the hall, back the way you came. Sounds like somebody found the body. Er- what was left of it, anyhow.
However, your would-be killer doesn’t even deign to spare a glance in that direction. Instead, he grunts, irritated at being interrupted. Eyes drinking you in , as if committing you to memory.
For a split second, you fear that he isn’t going to move. Quickly, knowing time was running out, you open your mouth. Wether it was to shout or maybe offer some snarky quip, you’ll never know.
Because with the strength of a kicking mule, he shoves you, cutting you off before you could make a sound.
A winded ‘oof’ is punched out of your abused lungs, balefully watching as he rises from his haunches and finally tearing those near-black irises away from you.
And just like that, he’s gone. The weight of his presence lifts as he stands to his full height, towering over you for just a moment longer before turning on his heel. His boots thud against the slick floor as he saunters off, leaving you trembling in the silence. Nothing but the sound of voices down the hall, panicked and steadily growing closer. Something about calling the cops.
Your breath comes in short, ragged bursts as you stare after his retreating silhouette, equal parts relief and confusion flooding your senses.
You get the distinct feeling this isn’t over.
Going home is a complicated ordeal. After your manager found you, you’d been a little shell-shocked, to say the least.
And utterly exhausted.
You didn’t really know the haunt-manager that well. It seemed like a different organizer every year, and to be honest, you weren’t all too keen on getting to know them anyway. They seemed nice enough, though.
“—And-! Where’s your car? Don’t tell me you walked here!” She frets, hands coming up to grasp you by the shoulders, before thinking better of it last minute.
“I’m fine.” You grouse, idly thumbing your sternum that still aches. That’s going to be one nasty bruise, you’re sure.
In the distance, you can just make out the red and blue lights strobing down the streets. You really didn’t want to deal with that headache right now. You were never a fan of cops, having your own complicated history with them that you weren’t really interested in reminiscing on.
“Look, Ms-“ you pause, just realizing you’ve forgotten her name already. With an awkward cough, hoping she didn’t catch on, you continue “it’s been a real long and shitty night and I really just want to go home. I’m leaving.” Stiffly, you turn on your heel. Robotically marching down the steps and towards the sidewalk. You weren’t typically a very tactful person on a good day. So if you were a little more terse than you intended, you don’t think you could be held entirely at fault. Tonight had been overwhelming.
“Wait- No, you can’t just walk away! Someone died tonight, there’ll be questions-and-and-“
You pause in your tracks, aggravatingly, she was right. No matter how much you just wanted to go home and forget about tonight, you could potentially get into a heap of trouble for just walking out. Afterall, it’d probably look awfully suspicious of you to try slinking off after a murder.
A murder. It didn’t feel real, hearing that someone really did die tonight, and that it wasn’t some hysteria-induced hallucination.
You should’ve been dead too.
You clear your throat, uncomfortable. Deciding to save yourself the future migraine, you fish out your trusty bottle of Tylenol. Swallowing two pills dry.
The haunt-organizer looks a little on edge, despite her insistence that you came back. Dragging your feet back up the steps, you notice her slightly backpedal from your immediate vicinity. You suppose you can’t really blame her. What with you still dressed in uniform, ratty hair, and features smeared with patchy face-paint. You must look pretty ratchet right now.
With a long, suffering sigh, you fall back onto your rump. Leg bouncing anxiously.
Well, it’s not like tonight could get any worse.
Hope ya’ll enjoyed. I got bit by the Bob-Velseb-Bug after playing Tender Lovin’ Cannibal. So this was born :,)
Also-Also, I will not be posting future chapters to this Tumblr, so if you’d like to read more please consider checking out my Ao3 https://archiveofourown.org/works/60694933

Bricktober day 15- Voices
@lesmis-prompts
What people hear through the years
___________________________
Have you heard about our new mayor and monsieur l’inspecteur?
Did you hear about Fantine?
Oh, you know monsieur Madeleine has fled the town?
Those Thenardiers, nasty pieces of work. You heard they stole a girl?
Stole a little kid they did, use her to do their chores
Would've thought they’ve enough kids already, with the two girls and boy and two more on the way…
I’ve seen her, poor little mite. Looks like she hadn’t eaten for a month
Get to work
Do the chores
Greedy brat
Je t’adore, ma chere Euphrasie
Your mother never wanted you
I’m sorry for how they treat you, ‘sette
Did’ya hear about the man who took the little girl from the Thenardiers?
He bought her a doll from my shop, didn’t he
Deserves some luck I reckon, poor thing.
.  .  .
Have you heard the news? The Pontmercy boy’s in love with Cosette Fauchelevent!
You know there’s a revolution soon?
Les Amis, that student group, stirring up trouble again
The people will rise, they say. I don’t believe it, the bourgeois won’t lose power that easily
Lemarque sickens, have you heard?
Monsieur Fauchelevent’s daughter is marrying that Pontmercy boy, you know?
Where did you hear that? Everyone says he’ll marry the Thenardiers' daughter
I heard Marius Pontmercy was leading a revolution?
What, Marius lead a revolution? That would be Enjolras, Marius is to soft for leadership.
Lemarque is dead?
Where did you hear that?
A gamin, just now. Said to spread the word. Reckon it’s Thenardier’s son?
They want riots in the streets and a barricade at rue Saint-Denis!
Who?
The revolutionaries, of course!
Will you join the revolution?
Can’t be any worse than now. You?
Please, I’ll praise the king before I go to a child’s barricade
I don’t know, they have some good ideals
. . .
Have you heard of the revolution? How goes it?
They caught a police spy, you’ll never believe?
They might last the night, but they can’t win
Don’t be so cynical, they have a shot, surely?
It’s over now. They shot the leader last. Even now he lies dead on the top floor of the Musain.
Did you hear the cynic Grantaire died with the leader?
They loved, I reckon.
They were too young to die. Maybe we should have helped?
We have families. They didn’t.

Do you know Pontmercy was rescued?
By who?
You’ll never believe, but they say Fauchelevent!
I was made to clean the streets with other women. Washing away the revolution. It’ll have to just be stories now.
But there’s bloody handprints at the Cafe Musain, didn’t you hear?

Have you heard, they dragged the body of an inspector from the Seine this morn?
They say it was the police spy from the barricades, but he was shot. Wasn’t he?
You know, I feel sorry for Azelma Thenardier.
Both her brother and sister died, didn’t they?
Heroes, at least.
Small comfort, a dead hero can’t help their siblings. All know the Thenardiers’ reputation?
Someone should arrest them. Them and that damned Patron-Minette.
I heard the leader of the Patron-Minette was in love with someone from the barricades..
Doesn’t change a thing though, does it?
Nothing changes.
Nothing changes?
Nothing changes...
Nothing changes.
Rien ne change
Non cambia nulla
Nichts ändert sich
Nothing changes.

Pairing: Portuguese D. Ace x Fem!Reader
Rating: For everyone, even if there will be mentions of blood, physical and mental wounds, needles for stitching wounds and some small hints of cuddles (the right amount, because we like it that way). If you are sensitive to descriptions of blood or wounds skip the story. At times comical and at times a little sadder, I hope you enjoy this one as well as Cozy Autumn Prompts.
Summary: Being the girlfriend of Portgas D. Ace, the infamous pirate commander of Whitebeard's second fleet, isn't always easy. You know well that life as a pirate is a constant gamble, but every now and then you just want your man - and all the people you care about - to return to your room without wounds to patch up. It's fine that you're a scrupulous and attentive nurse, but damn these men don't have the slightest bit of restraint when they have to attack a ship or a new island, and Ace is the first to throw himself into the fray, but you love him so much that you are willing to always take care of him.

🪡Taking care of a lover’s injury 🪡
Tumblr media
“Oh God, what happened?!” You whispered as you caught a bottle of alcohol that was about to fall to the floor. The ship had been shaken by a violent blow, it was as if someone had rammed into it and if someone had succeeded it must have been a very large ship.
“Put all glass bottles safely away and prepare emergency kits. I'm afraid we'll have twice as much work to do today!” You said to your colleagues as you adjusted your white shirt so that it wouldn't get in your way during the fight.
The New World was increasingly full of hotheads who aimed to become important pirates and to do so they targeted the ships of the big boys. Calm and tranquility were words unknown to Moby Dick.
"Goodmorning sweetheart! How was your morning?” Satch and the other men had set up a trench with the kitchen and dining room tables, you ducked to dodge the bullets and stood next to the commander of the fourth division, while the latter loaded a rifle with gunpowder to pass it to one of your companions.
“It could have been better! Who is attacking us?” You said as you opened your bag to get needle, thread and some alcohol, some of your people had been hit by bullets and needed to be treated immediately, quickly extract the bullets and stitch them up to avoid losing a limb or too much blood.
“A rookie, he has a stupid Mohawk. What poor taste.” Izo was next to you and in a short time he had fired three shots that all hit, but the enemies seemed to multiply. Meanwhile, you had finished stitching the leg of one of your companions who immediately picked up the rifle again and started shooting.
“Be careful, I just got the stitches!” You said while you were taking care of another wounded man, this time he had been hit under the cheekbone and almost lost his eye.
Luckily the barricades protected most of your comrades from even more serious injury, but the rifle fire continued to rage.
“We're running out of bullets here, we need to move on to strong weapons.” Satch was next to you, sooner or later the enemies would have to run out of cartridges you thought as you carefully looked at the enemy fence, those bastards were making excuses with thick metal shields.
“The main bridge? Do you have any news?" You asked quickly gathering your stuff inside your bag and placing it over your shoulder. Attacking the left flank where the kitchens and infirmary were located was a dirty diversion, your enemies were aiming for the main deck where Whitebeard generally remained to dictate orders, the left flank was less controlled than the others.
“None, they cut off communication, but everyone else is here, I don't think there will be any problems.” Izo said as he handed you a spare slugphone: “Try this one, it's another line.” He said as he continues shooting wounding five more enemies.
"Ready? This is the kitchen, main deck, can you hear me?”
“Main deck, we hear you loud and clear Miss.” Vista's voice made you breathe again, even though suspicious noises could be heard in the background.
“The Vista situation?” You asked without wasting any time, your other companions were arriving with more medical supplies, ready to follow you to the main deck.
“A bit bad, we have too many wounded among the new recruits. Nobody seems to be serious, Santa is organizing the boarding of the opposing ship." Vista replied as a sword blow could be heard cutting something in the background.
“Dad needs to rest dammit! Satch we have to pass now, there are injuries that need to be treated.” You said as you ended the conversation. Whitebeard may have been one of the most feared men in the New World, but at that time the treatments he was undergoing were so delicate that they could aggravate his physical situation.
Furthermore, the enemies had chosen a perfect day to attack, Marco had gone to deliver important messages to your allies, without the first commander you were at a disadvantage, his phoenix power was very useful in those situations and if Marco was missing it only meant a what: Ace was about to lead the boarding of the enemy ship.
The cook didn't have to be told twice and his entire division went on the attack while Izo's covered his back. It took some time before you and the other nurses made it to the command bridge safe and sound because neither Satch nor Izo would let anything happen to you, and once you got there you immediately started rescuing your crew.
Maybe Vista didn't want to alarm you, but the situation was quite inconvenient. You just hoped you wouldn't have to amputate any limbs.
“More enemies are coming!” Fossa, the captain of the fifteenth division, had raised the alarm. There was too many wounded who needed to be transported below deck, the infirmary would not have contained them all.
“Damn this was a trap.” You said as you approached the railing to check with your own eyes, the girls behind you were working to treat those who were at greater risk.
Four more enemy ships were arriving at great speed.
Your captain's laughter made you all spin. It was like him to laugh in those situations: “Let them come, they will only find defeat waiting for them.” Luckily Whitebeard wasn't injured, you breathed a sigh of relief and continued to move the injured below deck, so that they were safe and could be better cared for by the ship's doctor, you and your colleagues.
The cannon shots seemed to tickle your ship, but they were becoming closer and more precise.
Whitebeard had given the order to return fire and so all the men got busy.
“We need to get off that damned ship.” Satch said as he leaned out to see the damage, with the figurehead they had entered well into the side, destroying part of your house, you were with the fourth commander to understand the damage and to see if there were men to recover, they certainly were medical supplies have been affected.
“Ace comes here!” You said catching the second commander running across the bridge. Damn he was hurt! That idiot had gotten himself hurt and he had a Logia as a fruit of the sea.
“Love you are here! I didn't see you and I feared the worst. How is it going, do we have so many injured people?” He asked turning towards you and smiling warmly at you, she hugged you instinctively to check that you weren't hurt.
Either he was under the influence of a huge amount of adrenaline or Ace had such a high perception of pain that those injuries didn't bother him. This was a question you would never find the answer to.
“How the hell did they hit you? Ah, you're bleeding, stop here..." You looked at the long wound on his chest and the one on his right arm worriedly, his devil fruit made it difficult to stop the wound because the blood was too liquid due to the heat that his body was giving off.
“Some have Algamalotite weapons. They also resist my attacks which is why it took us longer.” He said Ace showing one of the weapons in question to the rest of the crew. He then explained how traps were scattered around the ship which had injured other people that his men were bringing on board.
Better and better.
“Where did they get them?” Asked Halta as he looked at her carefully, the workmanship of the sword was good, too good to have been made by any one person.
“We'll deal with this later. We need to free the ship and sort out the ones that are coming.” You said taking a needle and thread to saturate Ace's wounds, but your girlfriend stopped you in time and after placing his hair on her head he headed towards the Strider: "I can block them if I move now."
“ACE COME BACK HERE NOW!” You shouted trying to follow him but were quickly stopped by Izo before you jumped off the ship to chase him.
“Don't worry, he is not alone.” He told you looking up at the sky, Marco was back and was following Ace to give him back up.
“I swear that as soon as he comes back I'll sew him up properly!” You said the same as you watched the two commanders strike at the opposing ships. Whitebeard laughed loudly, commenting that you young people were so carefree that he envied you a little.
You sighed and turned towards the main deck, there were less serious injuries waiting to be treated and recovery operations to be carried out, so you rolled up your sleeves and started patching up your companions while who was still all entire effort was made to free the ship.
A couple of explosions followed one another in the following hours, marking the end of the fight. Ace and Marco had laid waste to the enemy ships and were returning, the strider was going slower than its normal speed and Marco was flying too low for his standards.
“Go on and check that everything is in one piece, big sister, we'll take care of it here.” Said one of your colleagues while you finished stitching a wound. You left the final directions and grabbed a new medical kit before heading to the main deck.
As soon as you arrived you immediately noticed the two commanders surrounded by the others who were asking for details of everything and more.
“Before you ask for anything, let me patch them up.” You said as you opened your bag and took out everything you needed, no one dared to argue. Marco had been wounded by the same weapons that had hit Ace, but his devil fruit was already taking effect so you fixed a couple of bandages and disinfected the wounds well, until you noticed a deeper one on his shoulder and that's when you cursed.
Ace was worse than a rag, lying on the ground and with his head spinning, he was kept conscious by Satch and Izo. He had lost too much blood, that imbecile.
You breathed in and out to calm yourself down and started lecturing them both, while everyone else laughed out loud.
“ESPECIALLY YOU ACE! IDIOT!" You said as you took the bottle of alcohol and opened it to clean the wound on your arm, it was deep, but it hadn't severed the nerves or any important blood vessels, Marco meanwhile was rearranging his shirt and was careful not to damage the stitches you had put.
“Stop squirming Ace!” You told him while using alcohol.
“That stuff bothers me.” Your boyfriend said with a grimace, then he told what had happened on one of the ships, that he had found other Algamalotite weapons, which now lay on the bottom of the sea and which all bore the same symbol, a skull with a sword that it pierced him in half.
There had been no need for anesthetic, the adrenaline was doing his job.
A couple of sutures later and you had completed the job, while Ace had finished his report: "I don't like this." You said as you put your tools back, everyone agreeing with you, it wasn't a normal Jolly Roger, it looked more like an anti-piracy symbol.
Ace leaned on your shoulder and held you close to him for reassurance, you all suspected that a fight like that was something premeditated and thought out down to the smallest detail, it was no coincidence that they attacked you at such a time. Marco's absence and the fact that we were without your other ships must have studied you for a very long time.
And if they had done something like this, none of you could rule out the possibility that they had thoroughly studied every single member of the crew.
“Daddy have you taken your medicine?” You asked turning to your captain. Ace was worried about that question too, because he knew how meticulous you were about reminding old Whitebeard about his medications.
“I hadn't gotten them yet. Are you afraid of something?” The man replied, then taking his favorite bottle of sake. Sooner or later you would have had to lock him up.
“It was too strange an attack dad, they hit us knowing our weak points too well.” He said Ace sensing your thoughts, thinking about it now, ramming the Moby Dick with a large ship on which traps and strong men were positioned was a diversion that didn't convince any of you.
Marco meanwhile was taking note of everything that needed to be repaired while with one ear he paid attention to the direction the conversation was taking.
“Attack or not, we should be more careful, anyone who can walk come and repair the ship, or at least let's try to fix it to get to the next island. Little sister tries to fix as many men as possible and give me an inventory of the medicines we lost." The first commander said, starting to give orders, conspiracies and suspicions would wait for the evening, for now you had to fix the damage suffered.
"See you this evening." She said Ace in your ear and leaving you his hat.
“Don't overdo it too much as the stitches might pop out and no devil fruit Ace.” You told him as you watched him run towards the hole to be repaired together with all the other men. You then gave the medicine to Father, because you always kept a reserve supply in case he didn't take it, and you said goodbye to both him and Marco to go below deck.
You had men to stitch up and put back together, and many of them.
Tumblr media
“How bad is it?” You asked Satch in the late afternoon when you went to see how the men were doing, who as soon as they had been stitched up and treated had rushed to repair the ship, without even receiving the green light. And Ace was among them, not only had he rushed to free the ship, but due to the injuries he had suffered and the loss of blood he had also fallen into the sea and Satch and Izo had jumped in to save him.
Now your boyfriend was sleeping blissfully on top of your legs, covered in bandages from head to toe.
“It could have been worse, luckily the ship is repaired and thanks to you girls the men are back in shape immediately, or at least all of them and there is no one missing.” He said the cook as he took off his yellow handkerchief to wipe away the sweat. They had taken all the surviving crates of food and placed them safely on the other side of the ship.
“I hate how Ace put himself in situations like these.” You said while stroking his black hair rocking him to sleep, you knew him well, he had squeezed out every last crumb of his fire, he had saved many of your companions but this would have put him out of action for quite a while in the days to follow.
Satch laughed heartily and then helped you carry Ace into his cabin, you checked on him one last time and went out leaving him a note on the bedside table, in which you warned him that you would be back later.
You continued your tour with your colleagues, you had distributed medicines and painkillers to the men and then you went downstairs to take inventory of the medicines. By writing everything down meticulously, you realized that the situation wasn't the best.
“We've lost more than half of them Marco, and I can't ration the supplies we have because they don't even cover a third of the crew.” You said as you handed him the report you had made.
The first commander read the numbers you had collected, despite everything he remained apparently calm.
“We have to grit our teeth for a while, we have two days of sailing to the next island, with the ship in these conditions. We will have to work miracles." Phoenix said as he put down the book and checked the route she had chosen. Under normal conditions the Moby Dick would have arrived in less than half a day, but the ship risked taking on water and one of her engines was showing signs of failure.
Resisting for two days in those conditions, with the adverse weather of the New World would not have been so easy.
“Don't worry about my shoulder it's already recovering, go see Ace.” He told you immediately afterwards with a hint of a smile to reassure you, Marco had seen Ace fight and had confided in you that his health conditions worried him a bit.
“Okay, see you later Marco.” You replied, but not before leaving him a couple of painkillers. You quickly left the door and went towards Ace's room, the dining room was destroyed, so the fourth division would have brought food to everyone else and many accommodations were in bad shape, the men had organized themselves as best they could with mattresses, bunks and hammocks in the corridor.
You went to the infirmary to see if there was any news but your "little sisters" reassured you that everything was fine, you still said to call you in any case. They would have slept in the infirmary, because your rooms had also been hit.
When you entered Ace's room you didn't expect to see him already standing, you sighed and closed the door behind you joining him.
“Hey Love!” He greeted you with his usual smile, as if nothing had happened, you huffed but also smiled, luckily Ace seemed to be indestructible.
“You should stay in bed and rest.” You told him as you checked his bandages, they needed to be changed and surely a few stitches had popped off.
So you didn't waste any time and made him lie down on the bed, not without some protests.
“Wounds like this take longer to heal Ace.” You told him as you sutured him again, you had given him a shot of anesthetic, at least to not make him feel pain but his devil fruit quickly burned what was injected into his body, it was no small problem.
Ace was trying not to say a word or let out a single cry of pain, he was trying to hold on so as not to worry you further.
“I know it hurts, honey, I promise it's just for a few more seconds.” You said, better fixing the last stitch that had opened and then bandaging everything with a thicker and tighter bandage, at least in this way the stitches would have to hold up for the night.
Ace threw himself on you, complaining a little about the rest of his body hurting, so you asked to show you where he hurt. You discovered that he had at least a dozen bruises scattered here and there.
So you rolled up your sleeves and took some lotion from your bag to sober them up it can be absorbed more quickly.
“What is it Love?” Ace asked you as he ran his hand through your hair to caress you, he could see that you were tense.
“I hate seeing you in pain.” You responded, leaning against one of the pillows on Ace's bed. You had rubbed lotion on him and now you were lying next to each other. You traced the outline of his abs with your fingertips and with a light touch so as not to hurt him.
“One sleep and I'll be as good as new.” He said Ace smiling at you and kissing the tip of your nose, then your cheeks and finally his lips. He was an incurable romantic.
“If everyone were like you. We have two days of travel ahead of us, said Marco, supplies of food and medicines must be heavily rationed, but luckily no one has lost their lives." You said caressing his face and lingering more on his cheeks to play with their softness.
“It'll be fine, you'll see, we've faced worse and Marco will have chosen a fairly calm route.” Your boyfriend had taken your hands to bring them close to his lips to kiss them. He then slowly went up until he reached your neckline where he rested without asking your permission: "You're an excellent pillow and I'll recover faster this way." Ace had started purring like a cat rubbing against you and you had laughed, not chasing him away but holding him tighter to you.
“Are you still thinking about the symbol you saw?” You asked after a while, noticing the serious look that Ace had made while looking at the sea from the porthole of your cabin.
“Yes, I don't know why but I have a strange feeling.” And that strange feeling more simply translated into trouble ahead.
“They could hang up on us but they know that at this point Dad might intervene with his devil fruit.” You said playing with the locks of his hair, they had grown a little more, he would have to cut them soon.
“You know his power is so strong that it would wipe out the continent, and then I don't think it would be good for his health.” Ace had started drawing invisible circles on your back, slowly and in an almost hypnotic manner.
“Someone here doesn't want to sleep…” You whispered in his ear making your lover smirk.
“Come on Love, so I can heal faster.” Ace breathed on your neck allowing a rush of shivers to travel down your spine.
“You are recovering.” You insisted, standing up and straddling him.
“In fact, I won't make any movements, you will do everything, are you my personal nurse or not, Love?” Ace's warm hands ran along your sides rubbing against the bones of your pelvis, he knew that was a delicate spot of yours and that you loved when he squeezed it like that.
You held back a moan, just to not give him satisfaction, but the blush on your face made him smirk again.
“So I have full control? Can I start this visit?” You asked as you unhooked the clasp of your bra and Ace helped you take it off throwing it away on the floor of his room.
You wore a white top that tied in a bow at the back of your neck, it was Ace's favorite.
“Of course Love.” Ace had settled in better, he loved it when you took control in bed, it was a shame you weren't wearing a uniform.
You didn't have to be told twice and you gave him a kiss on the lips, then moving down to his chin, to his neck where you bit a little harder, drawing a small sigh of satisfaction from him, and then continuing your descent of kisses on his his abdomen.
Here you were a little more careful not to bite too hard and you helped yourself with your hands to tease him a little more. You traced the grooves of his muscles with your fingertips and went down to the V carved on his groin and dared to bite a little harder.
You smiled as you saw Ace's gaze starting to become full of lust.
You wasted no time fiddling with his belt, you knew it too well by now and knew how to remove it quickly.
“So far the control seems to be going well.” You said while playing with the elastic of his boxers.
"You say? I keep feeling something isn't right." He had said, caressing your cheek with his warm palm which you rubbed against.
You were about to continue, wanting to give him more pleasure, until the alarm went off all over the deck of the ship and made you freeze on the spot.
“Fuck.” He cursed Ace as you quickly got dressed to go check. You rushed out of his cabin to find yourself in a critical situation.
They were attacking you.
“I thought we were past the bad part.” She said Ace as you two reached the main deck. The sound of bombs hitting near the ship.
“These people here don't intend to give in, they attacked us waiting for us halfway.” Satch had arrived before you and handed you the binoculars to get a better look.
“That's ten ships! But what do they think they are doing!” You said as Ace grabbed your waist and quickly lowered you to avoid a cannon shot, he had grazed your head.
“They have the same symbol as the others, they must be allies.” Izo said taking cover as well.
“There's only one thing left to do, let's attack them.” Ace was about to come out, the Moby Dick was surrounded, Marco stopped him in time.
“It's not the right time yet.” The first commander had said, the ships were not within range, the snail near us had started to ring incessantly.
“This is the infirmary, where is the big sister?”
“I'm here, what's happening?”
“They hit us and we are seriously injured, come help us quickly.”
Damn, that's all you needed, more serious injuries to operate on in a situation like this.
"I am coming." You said, closing the conversation and turning to Ace: “Don't bullshit honey.” You told him and he smiled back at you.
“Go save our comrades.”
You ran downstairs to find yourself in total chaos, you quickly rinsed your hands and immediately put on gloves, there wasn't a second of time to waste.
“The situation upstairs?” One of your companions asked, handing you the tools to remove the pieces of wood that had stuck inside the body of one of your shipmates.
“Quieter than ours. The commanders were pissed off." You responded by starting to extract the largest pieces and immediately moving on to disinfecting and suturing.
The roars of some cannon shots or the sound of swords being drawn did not distract any of you while you operated.
You had lives to save and no one would die on your ship.
Tumblr media
Twelve hours later the infirmary was a mess of needles, bottles of painkillers, scalpels, various instruments and blood. But fortunately all the most critical patients were stable, even those who had injured themselves on the command bridge and had been rushed to the infirmary.
The battle above had ended with the explosion of the enemy ships and Whitebeard had also played his part, he had regulated his power but this had cost him his health.
“Don't you dare lie. I can see it hurts.” You said as you set up his new IVs and increased the dose of antibiotic and painkiller to make him feel better.
“Enough is enough.” He replied, placing a hand on your shoulder: “You did a great job, you and the girls.” He added, looking at each member of his crew covered in bandages and painkillers.
You smiled, forcing yourself a little, the adrenaline in your body was starting to decrease: “Thanks dad.” Ace was next to you, his bandages stained with blood, but he was well enough to stand and support you. The fight had burdened him and despite this he also had responsibilities as a commander, he had to grit his teeth and set a good example for all your men.
Marco examined the nautical charts, the ship had suffered further damage and navigation would become more difficult, the island you wanted to reach was too far away.
“Hey…but that's an island!” You couldn't believe your colleagues' words, the girls were leaning over the bridge to get a better look.
In the end they were right, an island had appeared on your horizon.
“Marco please there is an island we can go to.” You had talked to the other girls, and all of you had introduced yourself to the first commander to convince him to go down to the island that you had spotted that morning at the first light of dawn when the smoke from the other ships had cleared.
Ace had tried to dissuade you, but he had no say in the matter.
“It is not part of our territories.” The first commander said while drinking his cup of bitter coffee.
“And whose would it be?” You asked for all your colleagues as Ace tried to calm you down. The island was only two hours away from you, you could have stopped to stock up on food, repair the ship and treat the wounded better.
“Del Rosso.” Marco replied, cursing himself for having taught us girls to navigate and knowing how to read a map and he cursed himself even more for having answered, the girls and you, hearing that name, had headed to Whitebeard to tell him to dock on the island immediately.
“They don't have a shred of restraint.” Satch had said, understanding well that landing on an island belonging to another emperor was not something prudent.
“It's Shanks the Red, of all people it's the best guess that could have happened to us.” Ace said, your boyfriend hadn't moved an inch after you glared at him, as if to say either you're on my side or I'll kill you. You could have a civil discussion with him, but it was still a risk.
“The problem is that knowing them they would face it without even thinking about it. Especially your girlfriend Ace.” He had said Izo, adjusting his Kimono to hide a bandage.
“Don't tell me anything, I have no say in the matter.” She said Ace, resigning herself to the fact that when you set your mind to something you managed to get it done. The boys started laughing heartily, your fervent spirit had brought back some joy to the crew.
In the end however, partly due to everyone's tiredness and partly because it was urgent to repair the ship, you had prevailed and for this reason you headed towards the island.
You could have expected anything when you got off, but not to find the Red's crew on dry land.
“Hey Whitebeard!” He had greeted the emperor with his usual smile that you couldn't identify. It was an idiotic smile. That's what the only explanation was.
"Red."
“Please, no fights.” You said, placing yourself between the two and glaring at both of them. You were sick of a lot of clashes and battles. The deathmatch for the sake of the good old days could wait.
No displays of Haki, no weapons being drawn. You breathed a sigh of relief and left the two emperors chatting while Marcus began supervising the construction of a camp. The redhead's crew also helped you, Ace was right to say that of all the emperors Shanks was the best case that could have happened to you.
Six hours later you were finally leaving the infirmary you had set up to get some fresh air. You had rechecked all your patients, fixed and splinted broken legs, destroyed wrists and sprained arms, all injuries that the men had hidden from you and for which they had received a severe lecture.
“The injured, even the serious ones, fortunately, they are all stable. Two days and they'll be as good as new.” You reported to your captain, explaining who the most critical ones were and what medicines needed to be taken as soon as possible.
“The ship has suffered quite a bit of damage, we should stop here for at least a week.” Marco said, listing the damage suffered, and it was quite a bit, but luckily it could be repaired.
The meeting was going to last late and Ace noticed the bags under your eyes and the fact that you couldn't pay attention. The lack of sleep was making itself felt.
“You should rest.” She had told you, making you sit on him. Nobody had said anything, in fact the discussions had continued.
“I will rest when I need it.” You said, trying to continue listening, even though the warmth of her body was an invitation to sleep, you had to resist. Three hours later, in the late afternoon you had emerged from the meeting room tent. From what had emerged, Red and his men had also been attacked in a similar manner a few days earlier and from the rumors circulating, an alliance seemed to have formed to eliminate the old emperors.
Better and better. If this was true you would have expected a clash in the days when you set sail again.
It was better to go and stock up on medicines.
“Let's go get the medicines from the village and come back.” You had told Ace leaving a kiss on his cheek. You had quickly changed by borrowing one of his shirts.
“Are you sure I don't have to come with you?” Ace didn't want to let you wander around alone, ok you were with your colleagues but he still preferred you to avoid it, despite everything there were bounties hanging on your heads that would have attracted many bounty hunters, but the sooner you went to get the medicine the sooner you could go back to him you answered him.
“Sure, just think about regaining your strength.” Ace had collapsed a few seconds after you had left the meeting room, sleep, narcolepsy and the wounds that had not healed had drained him of his last strength and carrying him to his tent had been a titanic undertaking.
“We'll be back in three hours.” You reassured him and left the tent, going to the girls and walking towards the nearest town.
Three hours later you returned as you promised and the whole crew breathed a sigh of relief that had not gone unnoticed by any of us.
“What do you want me to tell you, our nurses are known to be quite troublesome.” You could finally treat Ace with the right dose of painkillers and antibiotics, one that she would only wear off the next evening.
“We troublemakers?” You laughed as you took some cotton and soaked it in alcohol, you had to clean the wound on his chest and Ace was already glaring at you.
“Don't be such a baby, it's just rubbing alcohol.” You said placing it on his chest and pressing softly. Luckily the stitches hadn't broken in the previous clash.
“I never liked that thing.” Ace said glaring at the new cotton ball that was getting closer to his wound.
He was a child.
You gave him a kiss on the cheek to distract him and it happened.
“Big sister!” One of your girls had entered the tent: “Did I interrupt something?” She asked then noticing how you looked. You sitting on Ace's lap in a position that couldn't be misunderstood.
“No don't worry dear, tell me everything.” You responded, taking the gauze and starting to bandage it. Ace's torso, your boyfriend wanted to say otherwise but he held back.
“We found some natural hot springs, you have to come and bathe with us now! Commander Ace I'm commandeering our head nurse for the next two hours.” Your subordinate had said, grabbing you by the shoulders and dragging you out of the tent.
"HEY!" Ace was following you ready to catch you but the other girls prevented him: "This evening will be all for you, but for now we want to be with the big sister."
Luckily Izo and Satch had grabbed Ace by the shoulders and carried him to the other side to distract him. Telling him that it was right to leave some space for us girls.
“You are impossible, I don't even have a costume!” You said as the two of you arrived at the shores of the Hot Springs.
“Who said you need a swimsuit, we are all women!”
After all, they were right, but you regretted not spending time with Ace, you had been interrupted a few too many times for your liking in those hectic days, the only thing you wanted was to spend some intimate time with the your boyfriend.
But the thermal water was a panacea for your nerves that you would regret in the next few days. Only you girls, no man nearby and a lot of calm interrupted here and there by some otters that came close to smell you, were the inhabitants of that place and we had taken a liking to you.
There was so much calm that at a certain point you couldn't stand it anymore. You kind of missed the chaotic life that was with your sailing companions, but you missed Ace so much, you wanted to go and hug him, lock yourself in his tent and stay with him all night.
The spa had only partially dissipated the stress you had accumulated during those days, you knew well how to dispose of the remaining part with your fiery boyfriend.
“I'd say we go back to camp.” You said as you walked out and put on your underwear and white top. The cold air of the evening went perfectly with the feeling of warmth that the spa had left in you and this had made you even more nostalgic for Ace, usually he was the one who created that sensation that you liked so much.
"Already? But can't we stay a little longer?”
“It's been more than two hours, they'll be worried about us.” You replied as you looked around for your shorts and trying not to fall on the otter pups that must have been spinning around frantically. What naughty little brats.
“But boss, we're not enjoying this calm!”
“That's right and men can be alone, what could happen?”
You looked at each of your friends and just your look was enough to convince them that it was best to go back. You could already imagine what could happen to that rowdy gang of Pirates with the absence of you girls.
“We will come here more times in the next few days.” You finally said making the others laugh, they all agreed to go back to having some relaxation: "They took my shorts!" You added as you weaved through the vegetation to look for them.
The girls also noticed that a couple of their clothes were missing, but the otters that had kept you company were starting to get restless and seemed to want to tell you to forget about it and go back.
"That have?" You asked yourselves, not understanding the sudden agitation.
A sudden movement of air above your heads made you suddenly spin.
“Damn I didn't get them!” About ten men had appeared on the other side of the baths. A shiver ran down your spine as you slowly approached the others, that symbol they carried with them, a skull with a knife dividing it in two, were the men who had attacked you in the previous days.
“It's okay, just come here.” She tried to say one of them with a dodgy face, yellow teeth and some missing, his face marred by scars.
You remained f trying not to make any rash moves, you couldn't escape because they were surrounding you and you were disarming.
"Damnation." You said as the girls pressed closer to you. How long were they watching you? Had they come to you before? Did they know about the camp? Had they already attacked him? How was Ace?
It seemed to be a nightmare that didn't want to end, those men possessed Algamalotite weapons, Ace possessed a devil fruit and risked being seriously injured, he even risked his life.
You couldn't allow something like that.
Another blow forced you to duck to avoid a scythe hitting you, only then did you notice a scalpel on the ground, how it ended up there didn't interest you that much, it was always something to defend yourself with.
You took it without hesitation, hiding it inside your hand.
It was the seven of you against more than a dozen armed men.
You had to play smart.
And while the men surrounded you starting to list the worst things to do to you you tried to find a way to escape, the main path was out of the question, if they were intelligent they had put some men to guard it.
The forest seemed like the only way out, but it was characterized by such dense vegetation that it would only hinder you.
But it was the only option available.
“At my signal, run as fast as you can, no one looks back, let's be clear.” You said as one of the enemies approached you. If they had captured you you would have become a dangerous medium of exchange. You knew Santa so well that he would have done anything to bring you home safely, not to mention Ace, oh god if only he had found out about the danger you were in.
You couldn't let your boyfriend risk his life with the injuries he had. No, you would never forgive yourself.
“Big sister…” The man was a few steps away from you and the girls.
You inhaled deeply and only when he was one step away from you did you use the scalpel to hit him in the jugular. Blood splattered everywhere but you didn't care.
Some of the girls screamed at what had happened. The men in front of you were stunned. It was just what you needed.
“Leave now!” You shouted grabbing one of your little sisters and starting to run, you had the element of shock on your side and you had to make the most of it. The camp wasn't too far away, once you reached it you could have notified everyone.
Two gunshots made your blood run cold. Warning shots, they wanted to capture you without doing too much damage.
They wanted to avoid the wrath of your captain and his commanders.
“No one was hit. Let's run boss."
“In the vegetation! Hurry and don't scream, not even if a shot passes by you!” You immersed yourself in the forest among brambles and branches that hurt you every time you passed, your wounds burned and your muscles ached, but you had to keep running, soon the gunshots would no longer be a warning.
You were just thankful that you and your classmates had been through so much that you weren't scared so easily. The oxen and the silence were your best allies at that moment, but the voices of your opponents were too close, they seemed to have grown louder to boot.
And the camp fire still seemed to be so far away.
“Hold on, we're almost there!” You said as you saw Whitebeard's flag along with Red's flag waving in the night. Driven by a new spirit you overcame the last obstacles by starting to shout to attract attention, to hell with not getting caught,
“ACEEEE” You screamed seeing your boyfriend's hair near the fire.
The dark-haired man turned around looking for you until he saw you and he became alarmed along with the others. Ace started running in your direction without wasting time, without waiting for the others.
“Take them!” The men chasing you had increased and the shots were not sent as a warning but were trying to hit you.
“Run, don't turn around.” You said as you jumped over a log and helped one of your classmates up after she fell to the ground.
“Come on, come on!” you said starting to run again hearing Ace call your name.
Ace was running towards you, everyone was coming.
Then a gunshot and your world became darker. You fell to your knees as you tried to pack the wound on your pelvis. The blow was so strong that it knocked the bullet out and your body stopped reacting the moment your knees hit the ground.
“Run you fools!” You said trying to send the girls away but no one moved petrified of what had happened.
You felt the blood flow out of the wound, hot and thick and spilling onto the ground.
Ace stood in front of you motionless as if he was trying to act but he couldn't, but in his eyes you could see a fire you had never seen before.
He caught you before you fell to the ground and held you close to her: "Don't worry love, I'm here." He said standing up and facing the enemy.
There were few who had seen Ace's true anger when someone dear to him was attacked or hurt, and there were still few who had survived to tell the tale.
You felt Ace hand you over to someone else, you couldn't keep your eyes open from all the blood you were losing, but you felt Ace place his hair on you and tell you to hold on.
Then he went all dark and muffled and a white light covered your vision.
Tumblr media
Waking up wasn't the best, you heard the sound of the machines you had in the infirmary intermittently and you couldn't focus on what was around you.
Breathing hurt, and the oxygen mask you wore scratched your cheeks. Only then did you notice a mass of black hair leaning on the same mattress as you and an orange hair, which you knew well, resting on top of you.
Ace was sleeping, he knew how long you had been unconscious or if he had been struck by an attack of narcolepsy.
You stroked his hair, lulling him to sleep and observing his expressions, until he opened his eyes.
“Hi Ace.” You greeted with a smile.
“Well woken up Love” He replied, leaving a kiss on your forehead and caressing your face and staring at you for endless minutes.
"What happened?" You asked trying to get up but being stopped by Ace.
“You pay attention to the points.” The brunette said as she helped you up without you trying too hard.
“She woke up! You woke up sweetie!” Satch's voice said as she walked in with a tray full of lots of breakfast things. Immediately afterwards she entered half the world into the infirmary.
“Big sister you recovered!” The girls did nothing but cry loudly, while the men tried to comfort them and make them calm down, they were full of bandages and plasters, only superficial wounds fortunately. Each one told how difficult it had been to operate because of the blood you had lost and that they hadn't stopped until dawn. Red Shanks' doctor had also come to help you.
The girls continued to cry and you were moved by that reaction and you also tried to calm them down, but they started crying more.
“You should have seen Ace after they took you and then the girls didn't let us get closer even with threats!” She had said Izo sitting on a stool near the bed and Ace had turned red with embarrassment.
“Not only did he knock out all the enemies who were chasing you, but this wretch here went straight to their camp, burning everything and everyone, without waiting for us.” Marco continued, hitting your boyfriend on the head with a newspaper.
“Ace!” You said, turning to him, “Stupid, you don't have to face so many enemies alone.” You grabbed him by the cheeks.
“Come on Love, they hurt you, I had to punish them properly.” The dark-haired man said, freeing his cheeks and squeezing your hands.
"Unconscious." You said with tears in your eyes.
God you nearly lost him, because if he had been injured you wouldn't have been able to treat him in those conditions.
“Commander Ace don't make big sister cry!”
A small argument had developed between Ace and the girls, Izo had promptly pulled you out to prevent your health from worsening while the others tried to calm the two parties down.
It was your captain's voice that called your attention: "Let her rest, Ace, keep an eye on her." So everyone had slowly left the infirmary and the two of you alone, the girls had first relieved you of all the devices and drips to which you were attached and now you felt freer.
They made sure Ace didn't do any harm and were very direct in saying in no uncertain terms that I shouldn't force myself in any way and then they left.
“Come close to me Ace.” Ace didn't have to be told twice and got into the infirmary bed with you, you were a little tight but feeling him so close made you feel good.
“Aren't the girls going to hang me somewhere?” He had asked as he kissed your cheeks.
“Don't worry, I'll stop him.” You said touching his bandage and looking when she was covered in blood.
“Ace…” You whispered, trying to get a better look.
“It's not mine…it's yours…” Ace said rubbing your back with his warm hands to calm you down. You could only imagine the pain Ace had felt seeing you lose all that blood.
“I didn't know how to fix this.” He whispered looking at your bandage and slowly caressing the area: "I was very scared, they held it down like you told me to do, but you kept bleeding and I..." Ace's eyes were shiny, you knew him well that yes he would have stopped himself from crying, but he needed it right now.
You held him tightly to you, hiding his face in your breast and whispering in his ear: "Love, I'm here, safe and sound, Grace and you, if you want to cry, do it, I'm sorry for having made you worry so much." Ed Ace had held you close to him and salty tears had started streaming down his face.
He had told you what he had felt in that moment, so much fear. His flames had become uncontrollable due to those emotions and he was grateful to be alone at that moment.
“Actually there was Marco who turned me off just in time.” He added as you wiped the tears from his cheeks. You couldn't see him in that condition, Ace never cried - the only time he did was when he told you who he really was and about his past.
"Unconscious." You whispered, kissing him lightly: "You can't do these things if I'm not there to take care of you." You added, kissing him again.
“I don't like that the roles have been reversed.” Ace had said as he kissed you back.
“For once we can take a few days to ourselves.” You told him, kissing him again and biting his lower lip.
A pang had suddenly taken you from his side all the way down to his stomach. Ace had noticed this and immediately put himself in a different position, raising your torso slightly even though you said you were fine.
“You're clearly in pain! Please, just help me.” He said checking your bandage, luckily everything seemed to be fine.
“Ace don't worry.” You tried to reassure him, in a couple of days and some painkillers they would have you back on your feet.
“Don't you want to go back to work right away?!” Ace had placed you on top of him, you were now leaning against his chest and the tray full of Satch's food rested on your legs.
“How long has it been since you ate?” He asked then taking a grape and bringing it to your lips.
“How long has it been since you ate?” You responded with the same question by cutting a slice of meat and giving it to your boyfriend.
“For once I can take care of you.” He said to, Ace exasperated and leaving kisses on your neck. You laughed and then you continued breakfast, during which Ace told you what had happened at the camp, Redhair had already left the island and there had been no farewell fights or anything like that.
You chatted and exchanged small outpourings of love until the doctor came in and decreed that you could leave the infirmary but that you absolutely had to rest.
“Losing a girl like you! I really don't think about it, Ace don't make her get too tired please." The doctor said, giving another direct and blunt lecture.
“But why is everyone like this?!” Ace was carrying you in his arms, he had been adamant, he wouldn't make you so tired. You laughed and hugged him. Only you knew the delicacy that Ace put into every gesture that concerned you, even when you made love, no one would have ever said it but Ace - in addition to being fiery and passionate - was extremely sweet and kind. He cared a lot about making sure he didn't hurt you and making sure he respected your every need.
Yet you were happy to only know this sweet and delicate aspect of him.
“Ace let me change your bandages.” You said, getting up from the bed and grabbing the medical kit you had brought with you.
“I should be the one to change them for you. My wounds have already healed.” Your boyfriend had said stopping you from grabbing something and double checking your bandages, they were still clean and perfect.
A suspicious noise had made you freeze on the spot, voices calling for help and the nurses had reached your ears.
“Oh God, not again…” You said ready to leave to go see the situation.
"Do not even think about it." Ace said taking you back to bed and snickering.
“Ace but what if someone is hurt?” You protested once on the mattress, you tried to get up, but there was no way Ace would die.
“The girls are here, you absolutely need to rest.” Your boyfriend said, kissing you between your collarbones and slowly unbuttoning the shirt you were wearing at the time.
No other alarming voices had arrived from outside so the situation was under control.
“Will you take care of me?” You asked, settling yourself better on the pillows and waiting for your boyfriend to come closer.
“I will be your personal doctor.”
He kissed you, a kiss full of passion and tension accumulated in the previous days, a kiss that only tasted of so much love that you absolutely wanted to give him to heal those wounds that had remained in the soul and not in the flesh of both of you.
You kissed him back as his hands came down to cup your hips.
At that moment only the two of you existed and nothing else.

IM SO MAD, THERE'S A SONG THAT IS SOOOO THE BARRICADE BOYS CODED, BUT ITS IN CATALAN (a minor language from Spain) AND IM TRYING TO TRANSLATE IT IN A WAY ITS STILL AS BEAUTIFILL AS IN THE ORIGINAL BUT DAMN IM BAD AT IT.
The song's main theme is how invincible and full of life and passionyou feel when you are 20 years old. It also speaks about the rage young people tend to feel once they realize how unfair and corrupt is the world and their desire to change things.
I WILL JUST THROW HERE THE FULL SONG TRANSLATED BY MY BELOVED GOOGLE TRANSLATOR AND I WILL PUT SOME ANNOTATIONS:
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Now that I'm twenty years old
(THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE IN THE BARRICADE WHERE IN THEIR TWENTY'S)
Now that I still have strength
That I don't have a dead soul
And I feel my blood boil
(THIS MAKES ME THINK OF BOUSSET AND OTHER AMIS THAT WERE STUDYING LAW BUT REALLY HATED THE IDEA OF BECOMING A SOULESS LAWYER/JUDGE IN A SYSTEM THAT ONLY CARES FOR THE BOURGEOISIE)
Now that I feel capable
To sing if someone else sings
(DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?)
Today that I still have voice
And I can still believe in gods
I want to sing to the stones, the earth, the water
To the wheat and to the road, when I pass by...
At night, in the sky, in this sea of ours
And the wind that comes to kiss my face in the morning
(JEHAN PROVUAIRE IS THAT YOU?)
I want to raise my voice, for a thunderstorm
(ONE MORE DAY BEFORE THE STORM)
For a ray of sunshine
Or for the nightingale
That joins my sing in the evening
Now that I'm twenty years old
Now that I still have strength
That I don't have a dead soul
And I feel my blood boil
(THE TIME IS NEAR, SO NEAR ITS STIRRING THE BLOOD IN THEIR VEINS)
Now that I'm twenty years old
Today my heart is pounding
For a moment to love
Or seeing a child cry
(EPONINE AND GAVROCHE, Eponine died in the arms of the guy she was in love with -SHE HAD A MOMENT OF LOVE AND IT WAS HER LAST ONE- and Gavroche cries at one point of the brick, idk)
I want to sing to love,
to the first, to the last
(Marius was the first love of Cosette and the last love of Eponine)
I want to cry with those who are all alone Without any love they go through the world
(GRANTAIRE)
~HERE COMES THE CLIMAX OF THE SONG STAY WITH ME CITIZENS!!!~
I want to raise my voice,
to sing to the people
That were born wretched
Who live in wretchedness
And whom wretched will perish
(ENJOLRAS AND THE GANG FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHTS OF THE ABAISSE -the people-)
I want and want and want to sing
Today that I still have voice
Who knows if tomorrow i'll still be able
(THEY KNOW THAT THEY MAY DIE IN THE BARRICADES, BUT THEY WILL NEVER -not even in death-STOP BELIEVING IN THEIR CAUSE)
But today I am only twenty years old
I still have strength today
And I don't have a dead soul
And I feel my blood boil
(THEY WERE ONLY YOUNG BOYS FIGHTING FOR A BETTER TOMORROW)
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Also, I will put a link here if you want to hear it, it's a song from one of the biggest songwriters of my nation (Joan Manuel Serrat)

[two handprints, on the second floor]
Ficlets and drabbles for @lesmis-prompts. October 5th: Hands.
Also on AO3.
The café is lively in the evenings, it attracts the artistically-minded, the philosophically-inclined, and those who habitually miss dinners. Students, in short. Also, vagrant philosophers, disheveled muses and an occasional revolutionary. There’s always enough wine, sometimes music, often verse, and the owner used to attempt to beat down on proclamations early on, soon after he had to rebuild all the furniture, but he’s given up by now.
The facade has been carefully painted, though the inside is shabby, with walls that are more likely to be covered with the works of whoever is the latest artist in need of paying rent, than actually repainted. The owner has enough and to spare; it is unclear why he has been refusing repairs. The stains on the floor are hidden under threadbare carpets, but it doesn’t take long to notice the bullet holes in the walls, if you know what to look for.
If you ask the ladies of the night who tend to come over for some warmth and a glass of wine, as much as for a chance to sit in silence, and if they have taken a shine to you, they will tell you a story of a barricade. When they see you frowning in disbelief, since you’ve grown up having only heard a vague rumor of a funeral when someone tried to start an uprising, they will swear you to silence and take you upstairs.
There, on the second floor, if you moved the heavy cupboard, and pulled aside a curtain that only feigns to cover a window, which has been permanently shuttered, you would see two handprints. Right hand, on the side of the window. Left hand, on the floor. The blood has dried into barely visible smudge of brown.
You won’t be drinking much that night anymore, and every word will sound too loud, as if you were speaking in a graveyard. The rest of the café will let you be; they know the signs.
One of the habitual speakers, whose hands fly around like barely-contained birds when he goes on and on about duties and rights and freedom to boot, will squeeze your shoulder as he passes by. You will come specifically to his meeting next, and start to listen, and maybe, eventually, to think that the cost be damned, you want to live in that future that has him in it.
But we are getting ahead of ourselves. In one of the meetings, right after you have sworn yourself to what is shaping to be another revolution, but before you have truly reckoned with the idea of dying for it, you will realize what has been nagging you this whole time. The handprints; they are too far apart. Nobody could have the right hand that high on the frame and the left on the floor. Have they been faked, a prop for a story, a lure for the cannon-fodder?
You decide to avoid the café for a while; but the young speaker has a pull that cannot be gainsaid, so you return, just in time to begin talking of logistics, of guns and fire and food and messengers and streets to be blockaded. You throw yourself into the planning, even after the owner kicks you all out into the street, bellowing that you all are going to die, just like the boys sixteen years ago.
Once again, you can’t help but wonder, who were they, what were their names, were they scared, did they love anyone? That last question is on your mind a lot these days, and you decide to stay late after one of the meetings, and grab the hand of your leader, and if your voice cuts off, the warmth of his fingers, slowly intertwining between yours, is enough to tell you that you have been heard, and then -
And then the barricades are built far from the café, and it is louder and messier and more terrifying and more exhilarating than anything you have experienced, and your lover reaches out his hand for you to climb up, and suddenly you realize why the prints were so far apart. There were two of them. They must've held hands too, when they fell.

Saw Les Mis on West End Yesterday!!!
(Ignore how few people are in the photo. It was a full house I was just really early)
Starting with this I loved!!
- Stewart Clarke as Javert was perfect. He was perfectly austere and desperate, and he had such a powerful baritone voice that left so many in the audience dumbfounded during “Stars.” His suicide was staged in kinda a goofy way (but I’ll be honest it’s… always a little goofy)
- Though I don’t love how the musical treats the Thenardiers, both Emily Olive Boyd and Luke Kempner did a great job and were very funny.
- The ensemble killed it. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
- The costumes were a lot more period accurate than I expected. Adored the wedding costumes and the period accurate hair.
- I actually really liked Djavan van de Fliert as Enjolras. He plays him very young and very enthusiastic, leaning a lot into the boyish aspect. I was surprised to find I liked it quite a bit.
- Enjoltaire could not keep their hands off each other like damn get a room
— also those two were PARENTING Gavorche
Things I didn’t mind at all!
- Harry Lake stepped in for Marius last night. I’m usually harsher to Marius than any other character. But he was boyish and I was like yeah okay goofy man 🙄” and he did genuinely play him like a clueless boy trying his best, which was very endearing. And he and Amena El-Kindy were amazing in A Little Fall of Rain.
- Amena El-Kindy as Eponine was very good technically. And I liked it, but I prefer more depressed and resigned Eponines and it was very desperate and frantic, which isn’t wrong, just not what I prefer.
- Tom Hext as Grantaire. He did great! but again he played his part in Drink With Me as more angry than depressed, which I didn’t prefer.
Things I didn’t like (but knew I wasn’t gonna like):
- Lovely Ladies.
- No Azelma and they don’t acknowledge Eponine and Gavorche as siblings.
- Patron Minette as Thenardier’s Gang. Also why was Babet better dressed than Montparnasse? (Did like that Montparnasse was played to acknowledge or care about Eponine in a throwaway line. That was nice.)
- Love Brujon. I don’t know why he has there though.
- Could not keep track of Les Amis.
- How the musical treats Cosette as helpless when she’s perfectly capable. Lulu Mae Pears did a great job but like… I can’t stand that.
Things I didn’t like (and expected to like)
- I didn’t like Peter Jöback as Jean Valjean. I’m sorry I don’t really know how to explain it, I just didn’t.
- I was expecting a moving set. THANK YOU TO THE TECH, but there was no spinning barricade 😔.
Anyway, I overall had a lot of fun seeing it!!! And met some of the crew after and it was cool!

Dangerous Trash
Part 8 of Sass and Squirrels
Xanxus is doing his homework in all of his eight years old glory when Iemitsu makes an appearance. The worst thing is that Xanxus doesn't even see him coming. One moment he's seated down, writing the answers down in his worksheet and the next he's in the air, pen stabbing ineffectively at somebody's arm. Somewhere on the floor Tsuna screams. Xanxus is about ready to commit murder when the loud laugh gives him pause. Behind them, Nana giggles.
"Look at my boys!" Iemitsu exclaims, finally putting Xanxus down. "So strong." He smiles bemusedly at Tsuna, who is still trying to stab him with his toy knife.
Good. It stuck.
"I'm fine." Xanxus sits down, pulling Tsunayoshi into his lap and petting his hair. "Good job." He looks up at Iemitsu but the man has moved on to his wife. Behind him, though, smiling benevolently at them, is Timoteo. Fuck that, they're barricading themselves in Xanxus's room.
"San," his little brother whines, small hands tight around Xanxus's shoulders.
"Yeah." Xanxus agrees because as far as he's concerned, that's the right reaction to have when faced with these two. "Let's go."
"Hello there," Timoteo interrupts, kneeling down to their level. "Nice to meet you."
Xanxus tightens his hold on his little brother, doing his best not to scoot away. "Hi."
Tsunayoshi seems to sense his mood because he doesn't bother dislodging his face from Xanxus's neck. Not that Xanxus isn't a little thankful for that. He stares at Timoteo for a moment, waiting to see if he'll say something else but when he doesn't, he stands up.
"Come on." He pulls Tsuna into a piggyback ride, ignoring the stickiness of his brother's snack smearing on his shirt. "Ma, Tsuna and I are going upstairs."
Predictively, she's too busy with her husband to pay any attention to them.
"Good instincts," he praises his brother, saying nothing of the way Tsuna is clutching at him. "They're trash but they're dangerous trash."
"Trash?"
"Yeah," Xanxus confirms, putting Tsuna down on the bed. It's a little early but going to sleep is a better excuse than most to keep away from their unwanted guests. "Let's put on our pajamas."
"Not tired," Tsuna pouts.
Xanxus just nods. "Me either but it's that or those two," he gestures downstairs.
"Ugh," Tsuna scrunches up his face but he accepts the clothing so Xanxus takes that as the agreement it is.
He's not sure when it started or who started doing it but at some point it became normal for them to share a bed. Xanxus doesn't necessarily appreciate waking up to tiny feet on his face but the arrangement soothes his paranoia. All in all, it's a net win.
"Tomorrow, we're going to the park after school." And staying there until it's late enough to justify going straight to bed. Xanxus refuses to share space with these men for longer than strictly necessary.
"Yes!" Tsuna wiggles in excitement, doing the silly little dance he does when he's happy. "Play?"
"Sure, yeah, we'll play." He helps Tsuna take off his clothes so he can wear his pajamas. "Bring your knife with you, ok? You keep forgetting yours."
Tsuna nods seriously and Xanxus makes a mental note to take an extra wooden knife anyway. He knows his brother enough, Tsuna will either forget to bring it with him or give it to some random kid he thinks needs saving. Damn bleeding heart that he is.

So, this week's remaster...
Tumblr media
[Spoilers below cut]
Aha! I've expected as much, they usually release a regular episode or a Remaster. It's been a while since they've done one of these, I honestly thought we were going to get one during the Puzzle Park arc, which of course didn't happen.
Let's see, the OG "Return to Freddy's Spaghettria" episode was...
9 YEARS AGO?!?!?
...time isn't real, guys. I feel old old. Makes sense though, the OG has 44 million views, being one of the most popular videos on the channel. It's a no-brainer. also it was spooky month *does the dance* a few days ago.
Anyway, since it's a remaster, this post is going to be a lot shorter than usual.
(the following is my reaction:)
ah, of course, the updated graphics
and Mario going from his polygonal 64 model to his current one
but also peach's castle.... ahem, let's keep going
"no more saying cuss words guys" oh right, susan is watching over us

Tumblr media

Tumblr media
.・-: ✧ :--: ✧ :-・.
Another pleasant episode. It's really fun to see how much the Team has improved over the years while still being the show. It is a remaster so it's pretty much the same storyline, but the animation and editing and voice acting and so much more. Go show some appreciation for the Team!!
As much as I'm here for the loreeeeeeeee, I wouldn't mind if the rest of the year is just filled with silly episodes. it's the silly meme show after all... but Team, was it really necessary to remind me that these characters had trauma from previous episodes? well, guess what? it's day of the dead for me so your plan failed aha!!! /silly
Yeah, I do look too much into stuff sprinkled in the background or the episode in general, it's kinda my thing. Don't mind me overanalyzing the bingo numbers from the last episode. Anyway, it was nice of Ben (the thumbnail artist) to show some of the behind-the-scenes.
Tumblr media
Stretchy boi :) Love when the Team does these kinds of things. By the way, if anyone was curious, the WOTFI website is still up. Interesting....
Well, my dear fellows, that's all for now. Curious to know what the next remaster will be, and as always, looking forward to what shenanigans the SMG4 Crew will be up to next week. Hmm, maybe I'll post another episode concept (angst or fluff, no in-between >:] hehehe). Take care, and I'll see you all next time!!! pizza :D
...
BUT ALSO GOOP!FOUR— *green screen explosion*

ACT 2: PART 1
A fleet of military soldiers rolls into the entrance of Black Mesa. As they go, they barricade all the front exits they can.
Tumblr media
Military Commander: Alright, boys. You know what we were called here to do.
Wipe out any of those damn scientists. Don't leave ANY evidence in sight. Make coverups for COVERUPS. Am I clear?
A bunch of soldiers solute him with a 'SIR YES SIR'!
Tumblr media
