I have a lot of Fanon future reincarnations of the doctor and the master that I really would like to play out against any canon (Nuwho mainly) doctors or masters (I may consider some companions).  Very big fan of thoschei in any form and up for making canon divergent plots! Open Thread - The Master

(this is for the people who roleplay as the Master, specifically for the SpyMaster though)

The Doctor and the Master are standing in a time-torn landscape, the ruins of a shattered world stretching around them. The Doctor is visibly exhausted, but the Master seems strangely at ease, almost amused by the chaos they’ve left behind. "It never ends with you, does it? The lies, the manipulation, the games. Every time I think I’ve finally won, there you are again, smiling like nothing ever happened. Do you ever get tired of this, Master? Of us, this endless cycle of you pulling the strings and me trying to stop you?"

He looked the Master in the eyes, searching for something -- anything -- that might break the pattern, but instead, they feel something else -- something deeper. "I wonder… if it’s not just about winning, is it? Maybe you want me to stop you. Maybe, somewhere deep down, you need me to."

His voice falters for a brief second, caught between their role as the hero and the unspoken pull of something far more complicated.

Starter Call For !!! Mirror Theta and(or) Koschei (AU)

Theta and Koschei are various regenerations of the Doctor and the Master from an alternate universe. Largely defaults to Ten & Simm, or Eleven & Darvill. Formerly the Doctor, and never the Master, Theta and Koschei travel(read: fuck about) a very different, but similar, pushed to the left, Universe and pick up pet side projects along the way.

"It's nothing, Doctor." He kept his voice as even as he possibly could but the slightest tremor under the surface gave him away. "Nothing at all, I'm alright."

He focused on the drums instead. He could bear the drums, everpresently thumping away in his brain. He tapped his fingers against the Doctor's hand in time with the rhythm.

Oh, don’t look at me like that. I know what you’re thinking. ‘The Master, Doctor? Again?’ Yes, darling, again. You can’t avoid the complicated ones, can you? The Master and I -- well, we go way back. Or, should I say, we continue to go way back, because when you’re in time travel, everything gets all mixed up. We’ve fought, we’ve loved, we’ve argued, and... well, we’ve kissed, too, if you must know. But do you want to know something strange? There’s this little part of me that -- ahem -- will always care for him. Not in the way you might think, not in some sappy, sentimental way. No, no. It’s not that simple. The Master and I? We’re complicated.

People always ask me why I keep going back to him, why I don’t just let him go, but that’s the thing -- there’s always this pull between us. It's constant. The Master is like a shadow, always in the corner of my mind. And while I’m running around saving the day, he’s there, plotting his next move. The push and pull of us... it’s like gravity. You can’t escape it. You can’t run from it. You have to confront it.

So yes, the Master and I? We might never truly understand each other, but that’s the strangest part of it all: we don’t have to. There’s a certain... peace in that. If you can call it that. Whatever we are, whatever this is... it’s ours.
