#massacrealatronconneuse #texaschainsawmassacre #tobehooper #filmculte #toddmacfarlane #thorror #horrorart #horrormovies #toddmcfarlanetoys #horreur #epouvante #cinéma #movie #geek #geekinworld #toys #figurine (à Paris, France) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdyNQB3rI6o/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Darkness (Technique)
A Technique that prevents nearly all light from travelling within a certain area, leaving nothing visible but darkness.
Base
Technique Type: Specialty / Support Performance: Standard Action Delivery: Field Range: 20ft. Size: 15ft. Effect Type: Passive Channeling Duration Tier (DT): Mn Duration: 1 minute (10 rounds)
When performing this technique, the user may choose themselves as the center of its area of effect, causing it to move along with them. Otherwise, they choose a specific point within range, creating a field of static darkness that prevents most from seeing within it.

Modification
Prerequisites: [Delivery: Field] [DT: Mn or Less]
As a modification, the feature makes use of the Technique's existing Field to apply its effects.

I was looking at myself in the bedroom mirror and I was smiling a really wide smile. My teeth were not even decaying, they were straight up dissolving. Jagged holes were appearing and I was feeling them with my tongue and they felt rough too. It just kept happening, and I kept smiling as all my teeth dissolved away.

just read girl's last tour
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it was pretty neat, different from most post apocalyptic stories where there's usually a sense of impending danger or madness, just pure curiosity at the world around them and the desire to move forward really
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
there were some more mature elements mixed in and some really nice scenic shots sprinkled around

only 47 chapters, a quick light enjoyable read

bueno algo que es descrito recientemente con mi oc de mhs rokkori le gustan los videojuegos y por eso creo que es adecuado disfrazarlo como 9 volt para este Halloween. Well, something that is recently described with my ocher of mhs rokkori likes video games and that is why I think it is appropriate to disguise it as 9 volt for this Halloween. Horror movie of the night: Coming Soon So the thing about a movie title like this is that it's basically a complete ball to do a Google image search on, because no matter how many qualifiers I put on it I'm going to get a whole bunch of completely irrelevant results.
Tumblr media
Yeah, like that. Anyway, the movie starts with a creepy old bitch holding children hostage in her home. The townspeople have various issues with this, most of them related to A: She's creepy, B: She's old, and C: She's a bitch, so they come in and dispense some good ol' fashioned mob justice--now, not that she doesn't deserve it, but this practically guarantees that she's gonna come back as a ghost, guys. Still, they beat her up, kick her in the neck, bounce her around like a basketball a few times, then string her up and call her names while she strangles to death. Oh, but wait! It's just a movie. Which is kind of a shame, since it's really difficult to not get invested right out of the bat and then it feels like this is some sort of rug getting pulled out of you, but whatever, it's still only ten minutes in, I can roll with it.
Tumblr media
The actual plot is instead that it's a popular horror movie which is going to debut soon, and the workers are preparing for its debut. You have the dude who's getting strong-armed to make a bootleg by the Bollywood Mafia who I assume are not pleased with how few musical numbers there are, and the girl who works as a security guard and basically does nothing else but look hot. Unfortunately, because the dude saw it early, the (now very dead) creepy old bitch in the movie is now real and is stalking him--I guess MPAA is so pissed about pirating that now they're embedding ghosts in videos in order to kill people? That's some security measure, guys. At the very least, it's not like any court can fight against it. Judge: This case of Thailand Copyright Protection VS Thailand Cineplex, Cineplex seems to be suing the Copyright Protection industry. Can you lay out your case? Cineplex: Your honor, the Copyright Protection industry set a fucking ghost on us and everyone died. Copyright Protection: Your honor, contrary to what Cineplex states, we are not necromancers and have no power over death. Judge: Are you sure about that? Copyright Protection: Yes, your honor. Cineplex: I would like to present forth the case of "Williams, Adam Joe-Smith VS Fucking Aaaaa Oh God Oh Damn Oh God That's A Real Fucking Ghost", where denial of necromantic abilities is actually proof that one does indeed have necromantic abilities. Copyright Protection: Assuming we did erect a Satanic pentagram in the back and filled it with slaughtered animals and newborn in order to conjure the most pissed-off of ghosts to protect our intellectual property, which we didn't, why would we bind it to a movie of all things? Cineplex: Have you even seen The Ring? Copyright Protection: That's Japanese. Cineplex: CURSES Judge: The Court rules in favor of the Thailand Copyright Protection industry. Cineplex: CURSESSSSSS
Tumblr media
It's not a movie full of scares, but it's definitely very creepy and incredibly tense. Unfortunately it suffers from the problem a lot of horror movies do--not only are the protagonists are complete idiots, but preventative scenarios are so ham-handedly addressed. Like, say, when you tell your buddy "Hey, I've got a cursed movie here", the obvious solution would be "well fucking get rid of it", right? Yeah, in here that doesn't work, the ghost spontaneously grows a pretty bullshit ability that not only would basically guarantee her victory but also never pops up again. I'm not expecting a complete dissertation on limits as to what or how ghost magic works, but seriously you have to be able to draw the line somewhere as to what they can or can't do. In this case the creepy dead old bitch can pretty much do everything except bring herself back from the dead, and our protagonists never really make any headway on either figuring out what her goals are, how to stop her, or even how to protect themselves. Still, this is a movie that can't keep its dick in its pants, and I mean that in a good way. Practically every minute of the movie is caked in tense nervousness, and while the plot is terribly unfulfilling the atmosphere is kind of like feeling a vice slowly lodging itself around your favorite testicle.

Raise Dead (Technique)
A Technique that raises the dead and makes them follow the user’s orders.
Base
Technique Type: Specialty Performance: Full Round Action Delivery: Selective Range: 10ft. Effect Type: Lingering Duration Tier (DT): Mn Duration: 1 minute (10 rounds)
Raise Dead is a Technique that targets the body of the deceased, using the user's Energy to animate them temporarily, its actions being at the will of the Technique's user. On their owner's turn, they can be commanded as a Free Action.
A fresh corpse has the same Base Attributes it had while it belonged to a living being, except that its max HP is replenished only by half, and its Spirit Level/Demonic Level it adopts from the Technique’s user instead. Any corpse that has decayed significantly has half its original stats (Spirit Level/Demonic Level remains the same). As for Skills, it cannot use Cunning or Deduce, and its Willpower is equal to its master's. An animated corpse does not have its own Energy, and cannot use any of the Technique's that belonged to its owner (the corpses owner, not its current master), as those are tied to the individual's spirit instead of their body. That being said, it may use any special qualities its body has, and it may also imbue its Attacks and Defensive Actions with Energy by using its master's Energy (but to do so they must be within 50ft from them).
Raise Dead has a special Energy cost; instead of a single Energy charge, the Technique's user pays an amount of Energy depending on the level of the character the corpse belonged to:
Lvl. 1-5: 1 Energy Charge
Lvl. 6-10: 2 Energy Charges
Lvl. 11-15: 3 Energy Charges
Lvl. 16-20: 4 Energy Charges
Lvl. 20+: 5 Energy Charges
Raise Dead can be used as if it were Steal Control (a Technique that changes the ownership of a conjuration, animated undead, and anyone who is being controlled against their will) when performed on undead being controlled by others. When doing so, the user attempting to do so must pay the same amount of Energy Charges in accordance to the level of the character the corpse belonged to, and they must roll for Willpower pinned against the current owner's own Willpower roll, the victor keeping/stealing control of the targeted body. As with Steal Control, the Technique's Duration is refreshed upon success.
When it comes to Modifications, this Technique is treated as if it were a Conjuration Technique, meaning the unique effects available to to conjurations are applied to the risen.
Upgrades
1 point:
HP Upgrade: +5 bonus HP on the risen corpse. (stacks)
2 points:
Duration Upgrade: +1 minute (10 rounds)

Fear (Technique)
A Technique that utilizes the user's Willpower to conjure up an overwhelming sensation of doom on its target.
