Scandalburn appreciation post!! with some headcanons down below 🦅

+spoilers for Scandalabra's route

my very first headcanon on these two was that-

due to the almost always elevated Liburn's body temperature, Scandalabra almost always presses himself against her

the warmth of her body is quite comfortable as for a candle despite the risk of melting completely, but still!!

and I had this sketch exactly about this headcanon!

Liburn's so-called vulnerability in her sobriety did not go beyond the privacy of conversations with Scandalabra

maaaybe this sounds like a little mischaracterization of such a scandalous person as Scandalabra who lives on the spread of all sorts of rumors, but!! I like to think that there is some kind of concept of "emotional closeness" between them?? maintaining each other's trust?? idk

+sober Liburn's vulnerability is her irritability, some sensitivity to external factors due to the almost always present withdrawal from alcoholic fuel..... plus she considers herself insufficiently effective or interesting for spending time when she is not filled with fuel for a good "fire"

And CONSIDERING that Scandalabra himself mentioned in Maggie's quest that he just wanted to feel special (that is, standing out and interesting enough for the attention of others), then we can conclude that these two simply connected due to the similarity of problems and understanding each other on that level

what about Liburn's relationship with his true self?

her attitude towards Jon would hardly change, except that she would just look after him more, I mean-

well

what if he needs to take a short break from being all that scandalous and loud??

"if you want to be silly, I wouldn't mind. If you want to be 'just Jon', it's also alright"
