i just think the thor/jane loki/mobius parallels are insane and need to be studied immediately

the one plaguing my thoughts currently:

thor turning down the throne, telling odin that he “would rather be a good man than a great king” “is this my son i hear, or the woman he loves?”

and then we have mobius literally telling loki “you could be whoever, whatever you wanna be. even someone good” (insinuating that mobius loves loki which— obviously)

and there are so many more that i do not have the time to list out but .

We never know about that woman (and Thor certainly doesn’t have a type), I'm not into thorki but there is no way Thor and Loki haven’t had sex. Hate sex? Very likely. Raw and wild in a thunderstorm? Equally likely.

fhefherughu dyingg. same tho, like i wouldn't obviously say thorki is canon but like....to me it's kinda like....i enjoy it the same way i do a canon ship like it's on the level of thorjane to me. ignoring the psychosexual vaguely incestuous elephant in the room just makes you miss out on heaps of characterization imo, like apart from their relationship with odin* their relationship with one another is the most defining relationship of their lives; they define themselves through it AND against it.

see, for comicbook thorki dynamic - i'd say they either had many 'playfighting turning heated' moments that then soured once thor started spending more time with his friends/on earth (loki: 🤢🤮) or a drunken hook up (where they both pretended they were drunker than they actually were) or both. I think thor definitely had a massive freak out after, loki was ready to show up to breakfast wearing a "stan cersei lannister" t-shirt but then freaked out THAT THOR FREAKED OUT.

mcu - idk i think mcu loki was so full of resentment and the want him- want to be him- hate him- want thor to love him but also feeling repulsed by it- hitting the roof whenever thor invites *disgusting unworthy interlopers* (🤢🤮) into their 'circle' for it to ever go anywhere. king of nerfing himself and fumbling the unfumbable. that's why he's so stabby - penetration symbolism etc etc 😂. I also feel like thor loves loki in a very innocent way in the first movie so idk but i imagine the waters don't get murky for him until later.
