MOB PSYCHO 100 WARRIOR CATS AU WHOOOOOO

I've been chugging along at these designs for ages and I am so proud of them and stoked to finally share them AA if you have any questions FEEL FREE to ask me I have been plotting and drawing this au so much (have many things still in the works to post!!)

AU Summary: A Long time ago a strange interloper claiming to be a Starclan warrior took over the clan (Dimple/Mosswish). He gave them a prophecy from the ancient times of a cat that would one day be destined to take his place as the True leader of the clan.

Years later, a stray (Reigen/Weaselflight) found two kittens (Mob & Ritsu/Sproutmask & Thistlestrike) abandoned in the trash and took them in. If anyone asked he would claim it was just so that he wouldn't have anyone's death on his conscience but nobody ever asked. He staked out a human neighborhood and left them on the doorstep and once he saw them get taken in went off on his way.

Almost a year after that Sprout and Thistle have no memories of the cat who saved them and they have both grown. Sprout is constantly wondering what lies beyond his yard.

He befriends a stay who just came back to town named Weasel that seems oddly familiar, who's been mentoring Sprout on the ways of the Clan. He uses Weasel's "true" stories as a springboard for all the things he wants to do someday and tells his brother all about (Thistle hides his concern about that) But there are clan cats who have been watching them convinced Sprout is the one chosen by Starclan to help them.

Eventually they come to him, offering him anything he wants if he will join them, permanently.

design and name notes under the cut!

First off: I started on these BEFORE the fursona plush actually ever got announced but about mid-way through plotting all this They Happened and I knew I could not use any aspect of them for these designs so if u want to know why they don't look like those. that's why. I ardently refused to use those designs. I love them!!! I have fanart in the works of them, but they're not part of this.

Mob - he was the first character I drew and the base off of which I drew everyone else because he's the default. He's the glass of water, the firestar, the plain chip, the True Neutral of design.

He was also the last one i colored and actually finished a design for LMAO. When it came to his name I knew I wanted -mask as his suffix because of the fact he is the most autistic character I have ever seen in my life (I am a professional autist, I know my own) and he is absolutely masking 95% of the time before the confession arc. I was stuck on what his suffix could be though, but my friend @cellulr suggested broccoli as a name and I remembered that OH YEAH he can make plants grow, which is how I got to Sprout, also it just sounds cute. He's a growing little sprout, it works.

Reigen - My design is very specifically based on the Least Weasel. I do not subscribe to fox headcanons under any circumstances. I don't care what reason people have for them he's not a fox. He's literally the quote "weaseling out of things is important to learn! It's what separates us from the animals...except the weasel." incarnate.

His name was the easiest one for me. He's a weasel, he loves to get out of Situations, Weaselflight. It's a winner.

Serizawa - He's a calico :3c I made him a calico because it matched the color palette of his pajamas and I just love his pajamas look because the blue suit is............kind of boring sorry <3.

I was really stuck on what to name him but i found out on the wiki that the zawa kanji of his name means Marsh and I really fell in love with that. -whisper was based on him being kinda shy when he first joins the clans but just like in actual canon he gets braver but is still a big gentle giant type guy

Dimple - I don't believe in realistic cat genetics for warrior cats content, these are a bunch of strays in the woods who have organized religion and superpowers. The cats can be green if I make them green. So Dimple's design was translated pretty literally but I made him very short and rounder than everyone else. And I gave him the same nicked ear that the claw security guard people draw him with/as all the time has. Also he's short and people keep thinking he's an apprentice I think that was a funny part of Scourge nobody used.

If you want to get realistic or something you could say maybe Dimple being green was proof enough to the clans he's otherworldly and therefore totally a real starclan warrior. His suffix Moss is pretty obvious but -wish has an in and out of universe explanation. In-universe it's about his own wishes of being important (godly perhaps?). Out of universe it's a reference to my favorite old timey warrior cats fansite warriors wish.

Teru - okay I will admit this is the only design that's loosely based on some fursona art. I saw art of him as a Pomeranian with the rest of the gang and I was obsessed I could not let him be a cat. He is a full respected warrior of the clan though do Not make any comments about him being a dog unless you wanna get killed. I love warriors aus or fanclans where non-cats are part of the clan too I think adding other animals adds a lot of fun elements to the world. In another clan of mine there's a pig. Reject canon. Add more animals to the clans.

As for his name I thought about naming giving him the Star prefix just to be annoying but theres certain lines I won't cross and that's one. So he's Suntuft. the -tuft is because he's a big fluffy dog lots of fur.

Toichirou - So like...in terms of structure Claw is basically just Bloodclan and guy who shows up out of nowhere with a huge army at the last second w/ plans to take over the world (forest)? that's so Scourge coded. Why does he have a clan name though? Secret For Later >:3c

In terms of design he's literally just a taller pointier Mob now in Red. Why he has the -claw suffix should be pretty obvious and I know in the anime his hair isnt quite red but i remembered it being pretty red when I was designing and Shou has red hair (im getting to him dw) so...red. I also thought it would be diabolical to give him the same name as the canon hero of the actual warriors books.

and you did a GREAT job on connecting me with leafpool :3 since i’m a nurse and she’s a medicine cat lolol and i guess i like disobeying rules like her too :P

and ooo heathertail, i dont know much about her other than the conversations between lionblaze and her but she’s very... playful? yeah. and i can be pretty playful too at times.

also i wish heathertail and lionblaze became canon... but rip, they’re both from different clans

Thistlestrike, Medicine Cat Apprentice of Thunderclan -Found abandoned near the tallpines by Redstripe and his sunhigh patrol -Was taken in by Thunderclan and put under the care of Cypressmist and Cindersun along with their kits -Growing up felt very “othered” by littermates due to not being of Clan Blood -Often sought out Morningwillow for comfort, and began learning herbs by association -Began thinking of Morningwillow as a mother, and wanted to be a med cat apprentice -Morningwillow, knowing this, instead rejected her on both fronts, and Thistlekit was made a warrior apprentice -Despite not liking it, was a very good hunter and a fierce hunter as well, but continued to be shirked by Morningwillow -This continued until Morningwillow received a message from Starclan, granting Thistlepaw her wish of becoming an medicine cat Apprentice -Despite being a med cat apprentice, fends off various animals and other cats, using her warrior training -After moons of training, Morningwillow gives her the name of Thistlestrike, honoring her time as a warrior -Gets her med cat herb of Ragwort -Is a full med cat under the last of Violetstar’s lives and into the next leader’s

Overview/bio:

Shadowheart has never had a reputation as being friendly or outgoing. Ever since he was a kit, he has always been softspoken and a little passive aggressive. He is not here to make any friends, he just wants to do his job. He has difficulty bonding with others and can often be a little standoffish if he doesn’t feel like being around anyone. He is usually stressed and tends to take this out on others verbally. He will lash out very quickly if he feels threatened. He is also quite introverted and does not really enjoy being around too many cats. He doesn’t even like most of the other healers.

He was chosen to become a healer apprentice via a vision from Duskclan’s former healer, Gracklegnaw. Grackle, already quite old, reluctantly took Shadowpaw on and taught him. Shadowpaw was a naturally quick learner and took to the job very very well. Gracklegnaw tried to teach Shadow everything he knew to ensure that the clan would be in good hands after he was gone. Gracklgnaw died unexpectedly of a stroke when Shadowheart was 18 moons old. This left a small, disoriented Shadowheart to take all of the responsibilities Grackle used to have. He also was grieving the loss of his mentor. He quickly became more passive aggressive and defensive. He never really let anyone in, and he surely wasn’t going to after this.

He got with Wheatwhisker out of convenience more than anything. He had always liked her, and they had been friends before becoming mates, but they ultimately formed a pact that if neither of them were taken by 30 moons, they would get together. They had their first kit, Cricketsong, when he was 32 moons. They had their second litter, Blotchpaw and Saffronpaw, when he was 44 moons. He loves his kits, but has never been able to be too present with them and is not the best at being a father. He is just kind of blunt and critical, and it negatively affects his relationship with his kits. Cricket, even though being his apprentice, doesn’t exactly enjoy being around him all the time. He wants to be a better father, but this is a little difficult.

Other notes:

- He plants medicinal plants in and around his den. He takes extremely good care of his supplies. 

- He is extremely intelligent. He is often come to for strategical help by Coldstar.

- He doesn’t really like the idea of an afterlife. He doesn’t necessarily believe in the Stars but he doesn’t not believe in them. He is a bit skeptical, though.

- He is very chummy with Grimstrike and Owlheart. He will be seen around them at Gatherings usually. 

- He is small. He is VERY insecure about his height.

- He is a logical cat and often doesn’t allow his emotions to control him. He is quite levelheaded. He only yells because he gets frustrated. He would never physically hurt anyone if he didn’t have a good reason.

- He likes to swim.

- He had a short-lived crush on Thistlestrike when they were apprentices. They are very good friends. 

- He is often frustrated by Saffron and Blotch. They annoy him often because they don’t put up with him when he gets on their nerves. They butt heads often.

- He loves Wheatwhisker and they are actually quite happy together.

- His medicinal herb is olives. Olives are sacred to Duskclan.

Could you give me a name for my apprentice, and possibly a warrior name aswell? ... is a tom who died as an apprentice during a fox attack. The only survivor was ...'s brother Birchpaw(who later got named Birchfang and then Birchstar). After a while Birchstar snaps and lashes out at Woodclan and Caveclan because he thinks they caused this and starts killing their warriors as revenge. ... is forced to watch his brother from starclan and then has to finally kill Birchstar. (2/2) sorry this got so long! ... is a scrawny black/grey/white(mostly dark-gray/black) cat with two diffrent colored eyes, dull cyan and dull red. He has short sharp/spiky fur, especially on his neck, tail, back and ears. He has sharp/long ears with some rips in them. He has narrow eyes and brown/nose/ears and paws.

Morningwillow, Medicine Cat of Thunderclan -Was born to Whiteriver along with her brother Silverkit -Born after the Year of No Prey -Was apprenticed to Barktongue and also Lotusstream during her banishment -When out collecting herbs with a patrol, was attacked by skyclan and got the gash across her face -Remains somewhat self conscious of this  -Healed Whiteriver’s eyes as an apprentice using celandine -Later gains her full name of Morningwillow and her medicine cat herb of celandine, thinking it refers to Whiteriver  -Barktongue dies from old age -Soon after becoming a full medicine cat, she gets her first apprentice - Antpaw -Antpaw dies about two moons afterwards -This happens with her next wo apprentices as well  -Morningwillow begins to loose faith in Starclan, thinking she’s been cursed -Falconstar’s health begins declining and Whiteriver dies during a battle with Skyclan -This doesn’t improve her belief in Starclan -Stops attending full-moon gatherings and half-moon gatherings -Goes to Mothermouth for the first time in almost two years when Copperfrost becomes leader -This continues until an abandoned kit is brought into the clan and named Thistlekit -Attends a half-moon gathering for the first time in many seasons to ask the other medicine cats about her -Because of Silvertuft, Thistlekit goes to Morningwillow more often as a parental figure -Morningwillow allows this, but does not allow Thistlekit to become her apprentice, fearing her kit will die because of her -Shuns Thistlepaw and continues to until she gets a sign from Starclan -Reluctantly makes Thistlepaw her apprentice and after her training is finished gives her the name of Thistlestrike -Lives until a very old age, where Thistlestrike takes cares of her -Dies of greencough

Bio:

Cardinalpaw was born in Duskclan to two very revered warriors, Butterflyheart and Thistlestrike. Always a very rowdy, occasionally disrespectful kit, he quickly gained a reputation in the clan. He has never been one to follow any rules, and doesn’t really plan on it. Not to mention, he didn’t know how to sheath his claws until he was four moons old. He can be a little dense.

He was apprenticed to his mother, Butterflyheart, in an attempt to mellow him out, but clearly, this was all in vain. His mom just kind of enables him to be chaotic because she says it’s “good to encourage cats to do what makes them happy”, and unfortunately, in Cardinalpaw’s case, all he wants to do is break the law and hunt occasionally. He is an exceptional hunter and takes direction well, but he struggles with respecting authority figures and older cats, mainly because most older cats in Duskclan don’t know what they are doing. He will hopefully mellow out by the time he becomes a warrior, but for now, he is still his same silly self.

Other notes:

- He often recruits Saffronpaw and Yellowpaw to tag along and join his shenanigans. They are too scared to say no.

- He has lots of friends and is known for being very friendly. He is a great friend and always makes sure his friends are doing alright.

- He dislikes his dad, Thistlestrike, for the main reason that he is trying to peer pressure him into becoming a guard when he clearly does not want to. He avoids him when it is possible.

- He is a little below average size, but he will be very tall when he grows up.

- His face scrunches up when he is happy. He often contorts into silly positions when he is excited. He likes to roll around.

- His ears are always pricked and moving around. He likes to take in different sounds.

- He likes to play moss ball with his friends. He is the current champion.

- His brother, Carpleap, despises him. Cardinalpaw follows him around relentlessly trying to get him to open up. It hasn’t worked yet.

- He thinks his brother, Mothpounce, is the coolest and wants to be just like him. He idolizes him because of how good of a hunter he is and also because of just how good of a cat he is. He is a really good role model and Cardinalpaw respects him.

- He collects down feathers of the birds he hunts. He keeps them in his nest.

- He has ADHD and often finds it hard to start tasks if he doesn’t feel obligated. He also struggles with certain timing because he has no clue what time it is ever. He could wake up really early one day and really late the next because he doesn’t understand any better. He also gets frustrated if a task is taking too long, even though he knows the task is only going to take about three minutes. Time blindness is an issue for him.

- He stims by running around in circles, chasing his tail, flexing his claws, dropping rocks on top of each other, and scratching trees. He loves movement and will do anything to get out of camp.
