Where: White Oaks
When: Late night after her shift
Who: Willow and @chaoticwolfmoore
As much as she loved to go out and have a good time, sometimes staying in had it's place. Usually after she got off work that was what she wanted to do. Just relax. Maybe read some. But Avery had texted her he had a song for her to hear and somehow, that didn't feel like it would take as much energy as hanging out with other people. It was easy with him. It had been about a week and she still felt more comfortable with him than some people that she'd known in Greywood for years, regardless of what he assured about his inability to control his inner wolf.
She had stopped at her own apartment to drop off her things and change into something more comfortable, but then headed right to his apartment. It was a floor down from her but the same building which made it even easier to feel comfortable here. Willow knocked on his door and tilted her head with a smile when he opened it. "Here I am, probably late but worth the wait."

Ideal work schedule:
I show up and am given a list of cognitively engaging but achievable tasks
I complete the list
I leave immedietly

you've heard of "quiet quitting," now I'd like to introduce you to the next level, The French Work Ethic:
Do exactly what you're paid for and nothing more
Absolutely refuse to be available to contact when you're off the clock
Never prioritize work over your own health, wellbeing, or family because that would be insane, it's just a job.
Have a little glass of wine
Take as long as you feel like for lunch
Deeply understand that work doesn't matter
Make sure your boss knows they're always your second priority ❤️

if you are the type of person to tell a girl to stop driving around with an adult sized plastic skeleton strapped into the backseat of her car do not imagine even for one second that you could ever score a girl who would drive around with an adult sized plastic skeleton in the backseat of her car

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "hello, i am here to talk to you about the incident from a few minutes ago, because i feel you might be unwell, and i am invested in your personal wellbeing." "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!
do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

Little old Italian lady: Do you have zucchini?
Me: Yes, right here.
Lady: Is how much?
Me: $2.99 a pound.
Lady: It's usually $1.49.
Me: Yes, in the summer.
Lady, pauses, then grabs two: I put it in a soup.
Me: Oh nice, what kind are you making?
Lady: You will not fantasize about my soup.
And then she walked away. "You will not fantasize about my soup" will be in my head forever. I love you, little old Italian lady.
