bf!sunarin who would always carry a hair tie with him in case you needed it. he would even help you tie your hair if you wanted to. you want a simple ponytail or a braided updo? he can nail both. thank his skills for he got those after being his little sister’s personal hairstylist when they were younger.

My old Buffy fanvid!

I was just looking over the very few videos I have posted on YouTube and I found this from 12 years ago! I thought it had been copyright struck and removed, but I'm glad it's still up there as I don't have my own copy any longer, I lost it when my old laptop died.

This is the only fan vid I've ever made. I've had ideas for others (many recently for Good Omens related ones!) but then I remember what a pain in the arse this was and leave it to others to do them 😁

I'm old enough to have watched and been obsessed by Buffy way back when it was first on TV (I was actually born the same year Buffy was in the show, 1981), but when I made this I'd just re-watched all 7 series in full for the first time since my teens and for a while my fixation returned in full force.

Spike was always my favourite character, and this song by My Dying Bride which I was listening to a lot at the time seemed to fit with his story arc really well (lyrics below the video).

Apologies for the poor quality compared with a lot of edits you see today, all clips were ripped from my DVD collection so they're pretty far from being high definition! Still, I'm quite proud of it, I worked really hard to time all the cuts with the music and fit the lyrics around the clips I chose.

Voiceplay Visuals: Sleeping In The Cold Below

If I had a nickel for every time Voiceplay did a song from a videogame, featuring Omar Cardona and arranged by Geoff... (Well, this was actually a co-arrangement between Geoff and Rob Dietz, but my point still stands! 😝)

Voiceplay's video for Sleeping In The Cold Below was uploaded on the 17th of February, 2024 (which for me typing this, was yesterday), and the song comes from an "action role-playing third-person shooter multiplayer online game" called Warframe, originally released in 2013. I know buggerall about the game, and have never heard the original song before, but as we should all know by now, that doesn't matter when it comes to Voiceplay! I'm very excited to break this one down, so let's get into it!

Very cool mask things! (But also I'm glad they were only for the opening (and closing) shots)

Apparently this was filmed at some place called Optiview 360, and the name checks out tbh, because those are some very cool wall and floor effects, which I will be pointing out multiple times in this post!

(Also very niche little fun fact: the guys are in the exact same lineup order as they were for Dream On and Whiskey In The Jar: Geoff-Eli-Omar-Cesar-Layne!)

The contact lenses were definitely a great touch for this video, I must say

Cesar is wearing two different coloured contact lenses, because apparently he (and Omar too) couldn't decide which colour to go with (valid), and in fact Cesar and Omar are wearing one each of two pairs! (So basically their contact lenses match up)

Geoff's hair looks greyer than usual here, and I can't for the life of me figure out whether it was coloured grey for the video, or if it's just the lighting, or if this is more of his natural colour nowadays. I'm certainly not complaining though, and I'll just have to wait for more videos from him and Voiceplay this year to hopefully figure it out!

Also, even though I love his hazel eyes, whether you can actually see a tinge of green in them or whether they just look a dark-chocolate-brown colour, I'm not gonna lie, the contacts he's wearing here are really doing things for me 👀👌

(And his outfit in this video seems to fit *really well* on him and he looks fantastic in it okay bye)

This is almost pure-white lighting, and I reckon this is his natural hair colour at the current moment. You can definitely see his grey-white streak here, and his hair does still have a notable bit of brown to it, but it's almost definitely getting greyer (embrace it! Love it! I know I sure do!)

I loved this song and video so much I rewatched it almost immediately after my first watch, and then that night, I went and rewatched it again two more times! And honestly I'd have to say that out of all the videogame song covers Voiceplay has done (Enemy, Halo Theme, Dragonborn Comes, etc), this is 100% my favourite! Everything about this cover and video is so absolutely top-notch high quality, and the song absolutely slaps! Well done Voiceplay, you've knocked it out of the park again! Honestly the fact that they're just an independent acapella group on YouTube blows my mind sometimes.

So I'm finally up-to-date on all the full-length Voiceplay videos that I wanted to talk about, although by the time you're reading this, there will probably be a brand new Voiceplay video (edit from future me: there's not),But for now? Well either tomorrow or the day after (depending on whether there's a new VP video to talk about first (there ain't)), you will be seeing a handful of "Voiceplay-Adjacent Visuals" posts, where I'll be talking about the visuals of some of Geoff's solo videos! My Brand New Smartphone: Tecno Spark 20 Pro (w/ my paper dolls) [Recorded: Feb 3rd, 2024]

Okay so, what you see here is my brand new smartphone! I introduced to you the "Spark 20 Pro" from the Chinese based company, "Tecno Mobile" [CLICK ME!]! 😁🆕📱 Yes, that's right! I just struck a luck by winning a brand new smartphone in the Youtuber's phone giveaway, since winning another smartphone in 2019 [CLICK ME!]! Aw, Goody-goody joy! 😃🍀 Which we'll to get to that later. Right now, it is time to review of my first Tecno smartphone (feat. my paper dolls) in one sitting!

So, without further ado, let's get started!

• As you've already seen in my recorded video, let's transition to my snapshots. 🙂 Here's the packaging of my brand new smartphone from Tecno. My paper dolls we're already excited to see what it looks like! So, let's reveal it, shall we?

• Tada! Look at that gorgeous smartphone! 😄 On the surface, it mimics the well-known Apple iPhone series, particularly the no. 12 to 15 (and soon beyond). Why? Because of the rear triple camera and the square shape edge. 📷📱 Though, the Spark 20 Pro (and their Spark 20 series) had a bigger lens and bigger edge compared to the modern iPhones. Making it a mockery, but they wouldn't be sued because why not? Also, a bigger lens makes it better quality, right? I'm not sure, but we'll find out. 🤔 So, isn't it beauty, you two? I can't wait to make a snapshot with my new phone! 😊

• Nevertheless, aside from the main phone itself, the box contains a sim ejector tool, a fill up warranty card form (which I was supposedly said that in my video), a 33W wall charger, a USB charging/data transfer cable (Type A to C) that supports 33W, and finally the transparent jelly phone case. There was supposedly another related 12-month warranty card, to no avail because the Youtuber that was originally owned forgot to put it. 😥

• Her name in YT is "Liz Tech", and she's a YouTuber/Vlogger content creator, who has 618K subscribers and 475 videos, as of this typing.

My Real Story here was: While I was browsing and watching phone reviews on the same platform, I saw this particular video w/ the giveaway raffle. 😮 However, should I take chances on winning my own brand new smartphone is like joining a lotto by buying a single ticket. Actually before that, I was utterly jealous and depressed after seeing my family got their cool gifts while I don't during Christmas of 2023. And I was frustrated and crying... For real. 😠😭 So much so, that my little brother and my mom cheering me up by helping me earning some funds to buy a brand new smartphone for 2024. Thankfully, however, it never happened because with one comment entry I made on her Youtube video, she handpicked me as the winner of the brand new smartphone! Rejoice! &lt;='D And yeah, that's my Real Story, but we're not done this topic, yet! <=] So, let's continue.

• So, I've already turned on my new Tecno phone, and here are the specs of this phone. Other features that can do are the ability to create a custom AI wallpaper (and other such things, like changing fonts), a multi-tasking window by opening two or three apps limited, an NFC built-in for NFC-related objects (which I tried with my transportation card and it functions well), two AI sensors located at the aforementioned rear camera, a so called "Dynamic Port" notification located at the above of punch-hole camera, which mimics the iPhone's owned "Dynamic Island", and dual grilled speakers by DTS sound located on the top and bottom side of the phone that can reach up to 400% volume. I tried it on Youtube listening to the Costa Rica video in 1440p, 60fps (though not supported in 4k) and it was pretty damn loud, all right. 🔊📲 Also, I did not mentioned the punch-hole front-facing camera during my recorded video, which possessed a 32-megapixel camera and a surprise hidden flash located on the left side of the phone. 📸📲 And to be honest, It was a huge step up to my Honor 8C's 8 Megapixel front-facing camera. I tried it myself, and it was pretty damn good. Though some might say quite decent. Another thing I want to talk about the processing chipsets, armed with the "Mediatek Helio G99" for the CPU, and "ARM Mali-G57 MC2" for the GPU. Capable of handling selected games with either Ultra (sometimes) or High graphics settings, although notable hiccups depend on what game apps you've played. Meaning, that playing "Genshin Impact" (a HEAVY mobile game, and also not a fan or interested in) could suffer a lower framerate than 30fps. To be honest, I haven't tried it myself because I don't usually play games on mobile game. So, I'm casual here. Meanwhile, the display itself is not an AMOLED display ❌ but rather a Full HD+ IPS display ✔️, which is fair owing to the pricing, and we'll get to that, later in the "Overall" section.

• Honestly, there's so much thing to talk about, its impossible for me to do so. For more info specs about the Tecno Spark 20 Pro 📱, then please → [CLICK ME!]. And if you want more reviews about it, then I suggest that you should search on YouTube. There are tons of reviewers who are try getting hands on the Tecno Spark 20 Pro with their honest thoughts if not many reviewers. Or maybe this one better → [CLICK ME!].

• But, what about the 108 Megapixel camera? Is it good? 🤔 Let's find out, and I have right here! ↓

• Here are my first two snapshots using my new smartphone from Tecno. When I transferred it to my google drive (, which I haven't tried to connect to the PC via USB cable), the images were big at 9000 x 12000 resolution with a quality snapshot size of 12 Megabytes to 16MB and up, and that was from the 108 Megapixels. I also tried the switch off the 108 Megapixel mode, and it's now a normal 50 Megapixel (or something). Which had less resolution and less quality size images at 5 Megabytes to 8 MB, and sometimes at 9 MB. But back to the 108MP mode. I would say, it is pretty neat and again a huge step up to my Honor 8C's least megapixel camera of just 13 Megapixels. However, a 108-megapixel camera doesn't make perfect, though. Because some objects didn't adjust the detail, textures, color balances, and intrusive shadows. So much so, that I decided to make some tweaks before my final decision, which thankfully became an industry standard of editing photos via smartphone rather than transferring them to PC for an hassle editing. And to be honest, the only thing I could adjust on every snapshot is the sharp quality image than anything else. lol 😅🤷‍♀️ On the plus side, it has "Super Night Mode" for a serious snapshots during night hours. Which also I haven't tried it, yet, but I could at least turn off the lights as an alternative way.

BTW: I was surprised, that tumblr can handle the uploading 20MB size of snapshots/artwork rather than 10MB as their limitation. Good for you. 👏😊

• Here are some more photos from the main camera, featuring a sim tray was removed from my Tecno phone, which by the way, a dual sim card and a micro SD card slot expanded up to 1TB capacity size, and two snapshots of the Spark 20 Pro's information specs, with and without a flash. And the latter was A-Okay, I still prefer the Honor 8C's led light over the Tecno Spark 20 Pro, though. Because the led light of the Spark 20 Pro was a bit warmer side than the solid white counterpart. 🤏

• Lastly, the front-facing camera. Here are my examples, and from the looks of these, there once again pretty impressive. Even the details were slightly washed out when it zoom in, though. This is a very step up for my front-facing camera usage. Heck, it even possessed a "Super Night Mode", as well, delivering a decent job. Guess, I don't need to share some more front-facing photos to prove it (I suppose). 😊👍

• All right, I've got one last thing to do before my overall and experience thoughts. Here, I'm comparing the old Honor 8C that I claimed the prize in May of 2019. And you could tell their sizes, heights, camera lenses, and their screens (which were unseen) were completely different from their respective design. Sorry, I never get a chance to take more snapshots of their different sides and button layouts. On the plus side, my paper dolls were appreciated and I've owned two smartphones from my winnings rather than earning profits to buy a brand new one. 😊📱📱

My Experience:

• As of now, I'm still using it within a month, with zero issues, and completely intact whatsoever, even the tempered glass screen protector built-in had no cracks, only minor scratches. My old Honor 8C, on the other hand, showed its aging from usage, the back of the phone had already peeled off from wiping, mostly beside the fingerprint scan, and the tempered glass had two huge lines of cracks when I unlocked the phone. Now back to my Tecno phone, I decided to tweak the battery settings to make it more longevity by lower the refresh rate to "auto" instead of staying 120Hz because of battery consumption. Yes, the 5000mAh battery was huge (at the time), nowadays, it became a default standard on all modern smartphones, particularly the budget line. Another thing was switching off the virtual memory for the same reasons. Still, I have no plans to install heavy mobile games (even if I finally getting hands on the 1TB Micro SD card). I was gonna install "Asphalt 9 Legends", but I was so busy doing things. Other than that, though, it is perfectly fine. 📱😊👍

Overall & Asking Price:

• I'm enjoyed my new smartphone from Tecno Mobile, and man, I'm thankful enough to getting hands on absolutely FREE by winning instead of buying with my earnings. 🥰📱

• As for the price of this phone, this 16GB RAM version I have cost ₱7,999 ($142) 💵, while the 21GB RAM version cost ₱8,499 ($151) 💵, as of March of 2024. (Both from the official online shopping site and physical phone stores nationwide) And despite the pricings, it is officially a "Budget Smartphone" with remarkable specs and neat features that rivals the mid-range/flagship smartphone lines (sometimes). In all honesty, there's not much difference between the two, same specs with different RAM choices. Although, she should've review the 21GB version instead of the 16GB of the same phone, but that's just ME. I think I'm happy with what I've claimed! 📱😊👍

Her hands gripped the cold, percaline basin as she looked up at her reflection in the mirror. Under the harsh fluorescent lighting of the precinct's bathroom, she looked like she had stepped out of a horror movie: the colour had drained from her face, the ghostly shade of white a stark contrast to the fatigue under her eyes and smudges of blood across her skin. Her blood or his: she wasn't quite sure.

When Detective Beckett's attacker escapes custody it becomes her mission to find him and bring him to justice - one way or another. Two months later, when her attacker is found murdered, she thinks that she can finally put this to rest but when she finds a handwritten note taking credit for the murder and claiming to have done it 'to protect her', she knows this is just the beginning. As more bodies begin to drop - each with their own connection to Detective Beckett - she struggles to keep herself together: both in her professional and personal life. Scared that those closest to her may be at risk, she begins to push everyone away.

Can she solve this one before it's too late?

☔Is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

So, a little while back I posted a short drabble: colour and light. And, well, that turned into something more and while I can picture it so clearly in my mind, I am struggling so much with actually writing it!

The concept: Castle does not survive the season 8 finale *cries*, but Kate does. The story is set about a year after that, a few months after Lily's birth.

Kate is struggling more than ever as the anniversary of Castle's death is approaching. Martha and Alexis are trying to gently encourage her to get out of the loft, get back to her life. They're worried, obviously, but Kate just isn't ready.

After a particularly rough night, she goes to Castle's laptop. She's not sure exactly what she is looking for... maybe old photos, maybe some Heat scenes that never made it into any of his books. She just wants something, anything to make her feel connected to him. After a few moments of exploration he finds a folder named 'Nikki Research'. She opens it and hundreds of video files appear on the screen.

She opens the first one - it's a video from years ago (the date on the screen tells her it's from when he first started shadowing her). The quality is horrible and his hand is shaky as he films, but she continues to watch. The video pans and suddenly she is on screen - young, short hair, furrowed brow. She remembers this: she was just trying to do paperwork and she was sure he was just trying to annoy her.

"You are about to be immortalised in print!" he exclaims proudly, earning him an exaggerated eye roll. "Don't you want it to be accurate?"

"I don't want to be immortalised, Castle, I want to do my paperwork in peace."

She opens the next video, and then another, and then another. With each video she can see the changes - the way she relaxes around him, the way she smiles more, is less frustrated by his 'research' tactics, the way the video become less about documenting her movements and expressions and more about capturing memories. Lanie, the boys, even Martha and Alexis make appearances in his 'research'. The videos span from 2009 to 2016 - the last being just a few weeks before the attack.

The jumping back and forth between present-time and the flashbacks of each video has made this sooooooo hard to write clearly! I'm still working on it, but there is a good chance I'll never feel confident enough in it to actually publish.

This is a pretty common issue that creators face and it all stems from one common misconception: 1080p doesn't mean quality.

The above video is in fact 1080p, but as you can see there's definitely something wrong about it. Here's that exact same freezeframe but at 480p:

So what's happening here? Bitrates.

A Crash Course Through Video Compression

Computer video has historically been a really hard problem to solve. Computers used to be slow (Like, really slow). Computer scientists (read: nerds) figured out that the human eye is bad and have developed techniques that abuse this fact.

Dithering tricks your eye into "seeing" more colors than are actually present. Here's a monotone (two colors!) that appears to also have shades of grey even though there aren't any:

Pretty cool, eh? By using clever placement of the black dots an entire range of grays emerge even though there aren't any.

You can even throw out little bits of detail to save space and the eye will be none the wiser. These are the core principles behind video compression.

Why do we even need to compress video anyways?

The short answer: internet speeds still aren't fast enough. The long answer: distribution costs.

If you are a video site, such as Twitch or YouTube, it is in your best interests to save as much money as possible for every live stream. So, every platform places limits on bitrate.

Okay, get to the point already. What is bitrate and how do I get my stream to look good?

Video compression usually has two modes: constant bitrate (CBR), and variable bitrate (VBR).

For regular video recordings it's usually recommended you use variable bitrate (note that CRF/CQ is a form of variable bitrate). This allows you to save space where you can but increase usage where it's necessary to help maintain visual quality.

But for live-streaming you use constant bitrate (the reason is due to how networks actually operate and how celluar/mobile networks handle streaming. It's complicated). With CBR, you tell the encoder that you want the result to always be at X bits per second regardless of the resulting quality (good or bad). So that means that during moments of low movement (in game, in an IRL setting, or even on your desktop) the encoder doesn't have to work nearly as hard to fit the current frame into the allotted rate. During high movement moments the encoder has to work extra hard to find those visual shortcuts — such as dithering, detail removal, or macroblocks (shudders) — to keep everything within bounds.

Obviously, removing detail will hurt the quality of an image. And doing that repeatedly will result in that reduced image quality you saw in the first 1080p screenshot. For that screenshot, I encoded the video at 500kbps, which is obviously way too low (I did that for for clickbait). For the 480p screenshot I encoded it using a VBR technique called Constant Quality. The size difference between those two files paints a better picture: the 480p version is 12x larger than the 1080p version despite 1080p having 8x as many pixels as 480p.

Alright, so what do you recommend I use?

Well factors like resolution, framerate, your internet, and your computer's hardware all play a role in determining what's best for you.

Here's a table bitrates for resolution and framerate.

Just note that your internet upload speed needs to be large enough for that bitrate AND whatever else you may use the internet for at the same time.

Hi anon, this is one of the funniest and sweetest asks I've gotten in a while, thank you 😁

I'm still a beginner crocheter (picked it up for the first time last year during lockdown), so most of my projects aren't super ambitious (yet). Here are a few things I'm currently working on 😊 (with low quality pictures because my phone camera sucks haha 😅)

If the post you saw is from 3 months ago, it's probably about my scrap yarn blanket that I decided to start in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep?

This is what it looks like right now and it's going to be absolutely massive when it's finished (1.5m × 2.2m I think?). Anyway, it's done in Half Double Crochets and with two strands of yarn together - white as the base and then whatever leftovers I've got. Worked with a 9mm hook. It's super simple and mindless work but a great thing to work on while watching a movie - or Taskmaster 😄

I'm also currently working on some fantail shell stitch fingerless gloves, following this tutorial, which is a lot easier than I first thought.

All done with the same yarn, but completely different results. I kind of enjoy the mix and match aesthetic - let's hope my sister, who I'm making the second pair for, agrees 😅

The third project - which is kind of on the backburner right now - is actually one of my favourite things I've ever worked on, but a few weeks ago I started feeling a bit bored (and also doubtful) so I decided to take a break from it.

It's going to be a very large and long scarf worked in Tunisian Simple Stitch on the bias.

The projects is inspired by this fun video by TL Yarn Crafts. Mine is a lot less adventurous though, because I only use four different colours. I'm using some very nice and fine merino wool, which feels amazing and works ups nicely (the colours are actually a bit more muted than in the pictures. As I said: shitty phone camera). Initially, I intended to have it finished by November, alas... Now my goal is to finish it for my birthday in February 😄

My Redragon Hylas (H260) Gaming Headset Review (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Jan 18th, 2023]

Hi! Here's Part 2 (Final) of my Redragon Hylas (H260) gaming headset (featuring my paper dolls). 🎮🎧😊

And in this part, I'm testing out my new gaming headset using my PC & my smartphone (Honor 8C).🎧➡️📱🖥️

So, without further ado, let's get started:

• Here it is, time for some audio test, and let's start with my (Windows 10) PC. As I unstrap the nylon cable, I quickly show you this awesome-looking splitter, and tugging the nylon braided numerous times to show how strong this cable is before 💪 I uncap these protectors & plug these three onto my computer. 🙂🎧➡️🖥️

• Aside from the sound quality from two earmuffs, my headset lit up the RGB lights! How cool is that!? 😃💡🎧 Even better when I turn off the lights for a true coloring lit! However, I've noticed a big bleeding light because of their cheap thin plastic. Still, looks cool though. And what better pair than my current mechanical keyboard from the same brand as my headset! 😁🎧⌨️💡

• And here are some pictures of what RGB light should look like. Unfortunately, I can't adjust nor customize my likings (namely my favorite color → 💙) with the RGB light, as it's already predetermined to subsidize the cost. Such a shame...😕

• Now, what about the sound quality? Well, according to the official manual, the Hylas (H260) uses a 50mm dynamic driver unit to improve sound quality while playing games. And no, it didn't include a surround audio feature, like other expensive gaming headsets. I've listened some music, videos from youtube & other audio softwares with my new gaming headset for 2 to 3 hours, I even compare it with my current ZNT headset to determine which is the better sound. And my thoughts about the Hylas were, fairly decent, but not great. 😕 When I listen to bass-related music, it went muffled sometimes. The same goes to vocals & voices from listening/watching Youtube videos, they're often ruining the quality. And the separation, the treble, and other important tones? Well, subpar... Nothing new on the audio table. And in terms of better sound between the Redragon Hylas & the ZNT Soundfit, surprisingly (or unsurprisingly), the ZNT Soundfit edges out over the Redragon Hylas. Yes, while the ZNT has unbalanced & lacks bass, it's surprisingly a bit better than the Redragon Hylas. I doubt it, I know... Gee, I can't find a better headphone to surpass my two current headphones/headsets...🙄

• Comfort, on the other hand, the Hylas fits right in my head! I haven't experienced cramps or squeezing during my music time or watching videos. However, it tends to slip when I shake my head, but at least it holds pretty well. And actually, this is what I prefer over my ZNT SoundFit's tight & claustrophobic fit. So, that's a plus for me. 👍

• The mic is pretty decent. While it's not anti-noise cancellation (like their earmuffs), it gets the job A-Okay (I guess). One thing that bothers me is their weak bending of the mic, I hated it. 👎 If only this thing can detach, too...

• And finally, I've tested out with my current smartphone using the included audio splitter cable onto my new headset. 🎧📲 Again, the Hylas' signature sound was the same as before, and I would prefer my current ZNT headphones. My paper dolls seem to be having fun though. 🙂

Overall & Asking price:

• Well, my lil' brother told me this is the best budget gaming headset... But, my mind said otherwise. Yes, it is indeed a good budget headset, but a lot of tweaks & replacements, including the sound driver, could improve better, let alone the cheap plastic material that they used. So overall, if don't want a break your wallet & going for the budget route of headphones, then the Redragon Hylas gaming headset could be your decent option. 👌🎧 But, for die-hard headphones, fans & headset enthusiasts, look elsewhere. 🖱️

• The Redragon Hylas costs from ₱795 ($14,60) to ₱850 ($15.61) from PixelPlay on Lazada PH [CLICK ME!] 🛒🌐🇵🇭, and its available in three different colors: Black, White (mine), and Pink.

My 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Review (Recorded Video) - Part 1.5 [Nov 19, 2020]

Here’s the Part 1.5 of my 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ Gamepad.🎮🙂

In this part topic, I’m recording a video of me touch and hold of my new wireless gamepad. Plus this will be my first time doing a ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response)of sorts.🎙️🎚️🧍‍♂️

Since I don’t have a audio tools for ASMR, I’ll try my best to do so.😅

*But before that, I want YOU… Yes you, which you’re reading my description. I want you to watch my recorded video first 📹📲 (as a observation) before you read the rest of my reaction experience. Hope you’re watching…

So without further ado, let’s get started:

My Experience: • (Now as you already done watching video.) When I pull out from two joysticks and hold my new 8bitdo gamepad, I didn’t expect that the gamepad’s size was big compare to my hands 🎮🤲. Regardless on size, it’s actually quite comfortable and perfectly snugged; holding 8bitdo gamepad’s underneath was so relaxing and somehow feeling premium plastic quality compare to my Sony DualShock 4 V2 controller.🤗 As a matter of fact, the 8bitdo gamepad was a little heavy 🏋️‍♂️than my DS4 V2 controller’s light weight 🪶.

• The ASMR part right here was the peeling the transparent protective sticker on the front facing button, which is never felt so good.🔊👂 (Again I try my best though, so let’s move on.^^; )

• As for the buttons and triggers, it completely matched to my six fingers 🎮🤲; from d-pad, front facing buttons to shoulder buttons, triggers and even start/select buttons too.🙂

•The 🔘clicking sounds 🔊 from both front facing buttons and L3/R3 buttons are very different compare of my DS4 controller to be honest. In fact L3/R3 buttons of the DS4 controller are louder tactile-liked than the 8bitdo gamepad. Sound wise with the D-pad too unlike the DS4 controller which is a bit silent when I pressed it individual, but when I pressed it whole d-pad between the two they’re quite differences. Not to mention that the star⭐(capture button on N-Switch) and heart ♥️ pixel button (home button on N-Switch and 8bitdo’s new logo brand by the way) had a bit tactile as well. As for the start/select buttons they’re rubbering when I pressed it, after all they’re trying to replicate the old portable gamepad. Also I noticed that there’s a four led lights indicated when I pressed the start button. 

• Moving on to the shoulder buttons and triggers. Their shoulder buttons (L1 & R1 or L & R for Nintendo) are very mushy, plus their less sound 🔉 compare to the DS4 controller’s loud shoulder buttons🔊. Triggers (L2 & R2 or ZL & ZR for Nintendo) on the other hand had the same less sounds 🔉 as well.

•The last part was showing the compartment behind underneath of the 8bitdo gamepad. And what’s inside is the 1000mAh 8bitdo battery pack 🔋!  Yup, you heard me right - 8bitdo had chosen a removable battery pack (for the SN30 Pro+) than just slap on as a built-in battery inside (like other 8bitdo controllers around), which is very genius way. 😁💡 And as you can see I was forceful to remove the battery pack with my finger(s) until I realize it’s the other side to remove the battery pack before it pops out.😅

• Anyways, when I hold the battery pack 🔋 from 8bitdo it’s actually quite light 🪶. I didn’t except that this is heavy but no - not at all. I’ll give the details about the 8bitdo battery pack in part 3.🙂

Well that’s all in my recorded video, because I have to make it quick before it reaches to 100MB. Despite that, I’ll make sure that I won’t be over 100MB when I’m recording video on my Honor 8C.📱🎦 Otherwise I’ll go to convert with online video edit to reduce the size, but it’ll also decreased the video quality so... I’m okay with that though.😌 Also I forgot to press the pair button (beside USB type C port) during my recording video before it's done quickly, uh well... Hopefully I’ll save it for another part.😊

Overall: • I think this 8bitdo gamepad 🎮 of mine was really good and very promising. It doesn’t matter that the buttons are different as well as the clicking sounds, quite tactile and somehow mushy for the shoulder buttons and triggers; at least it’s very comfortable in the palm of my hands 🤲. Man, I can’t wait to pair my 8bitdo wireless adapter/retro receiver to my new wireless gamepad of the same brand and play some games on my Windows 10 PC desktop really soon!🖥️😁 It’s like marrying a husband 🤵‍♂️(8bitdo USB wireless adapter ‘PS Classic Edition’) and wife 👰‍♀️(8bitdo SN30 Pro+ gamepad) on wedding day 💍💒 - tech style 👨‍💻👩‍💻 (no pun intended).

My Sony PS4 DualShock 4 V2 Controller (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 2 [Dec. 12,2019]🎮

Here’s my 2nd part of my newly game controller item - the Sony PS4 DualShock4 V2 Controller with my two Paper Dolls (Chowder and Panini). =)

Walkthrough with my newly game controller continues so it’s time to unboxing the DualShock4 V2 controller. =)

1st and 2nd images: • On the first image here you see I started to open the main item with a beautiful plastic cover that I really want it as a case; although I wish I want have my own  DS4 carrying case / bag instead of that and I found it right here - [CLICK ME!]. And yes the only accessory on the ‘legit’ like mine was the instruction manual w/ three different languages - which you can see on 2nd image. BTW I only snap a English version and I won’t do take a snap on two languages. And unlike the ‘legit’ however it DOES NOT have a micro USB cable, only fake / clone / duplicate version has it and that’s a good thing for the ‘legit’ version.

3rd image: • Here you see now the actual item still intact in the plastic case, so why not remove it anyway to make it better. 😊

4th to 8th images: • Once I remove the plastic covers I could finally touched my newly gamepad controller. Well yes it’s the same feel as other DS4 controllers we’ve already using it only with a different color I choose (Wave Blue). Regardless of that the controller has a different blue color tone on the bottom, the original V1 / Version 1 (watch it BTW) has a perfect black color on the bottom part and that’s of the key differences between V1 (CUH-ZCT1) and V2 (CUH-ZCT2) DS4 controllers, I mentioned that I said ‘V2′ a lot of times now. If you want to know more about the comparison then please [CLICK ME!] and watch. And to be honest I kinda like the V2′s (version 2′s) Wave Blue color than the 1st version. Different-wise the buttons, arrows, analogs, shoulders, triggers and the PS button are now changed from black to grey color which is surprisingly better than before. As for the playing features however it remains the same for both V1 (CUH-ZCT1) and V2 (CUH-ZCT2) except the V2 has now better battery (I guess) and freely to connect any devices or in this case compatible with smartphones (iPhone & Android), PC /laptop and tablets via wireless bluetooth mode or in wired mode via micro USB cable; the DS4 V2 controller is now completely versatile than the DS4 V1. Also did I mentioned that the light has now a line on the touchpad for the V2, that’s something to notify. Although I’ll be show up very soon via recorded video.

9th and 10th images: • Seems my paper dolls really like my newly controller even more. Now if only we have a ‘overcooked’ game they’re watching while I’m playing in solo or with a friend, that’ll be fun! 😁

NOTE: You may noticed that some of my pictures are combined in one despite I have a total of 13 snapshot picture and tumbr’s photo post was limit to 10 photos, I guess you’re already know that, right. Just saying.

BTW: Before I ended this 2nd part I just want to know about their critics and reviews about the clone / fake / duplicate version of the DS4 is surprisingly good in terms of functionality controls and feels compare to the legit one, and the cheap price is acceptable worth it. But some others are not happy due to their looks and design are un-identical, both EXT & 3.5mm audio jack ports are not present (sometimes) and some of the function controls are unresponsive / latency. And don’t get me started on their fake DS4’s  L3 and R3 click sound differences. In my opinion I should stay away from fake ones, even though they’re impress at their own right but they’re not ‘legit’ at their own right.
