I understand the problem, but my issue is that buttons are not color coded anymore. It's not a huge difference but the Xbox X button would usually appear as a light blue X with a darker blue background in game, and the PlayStation button would be a blue cross with a gray background in game, and the Gamecube had a entirely different shape for the button altogether. I think those little details really helped the buttons stay distinguishable from one another. Xbox is the only one that kept the colors on their controller (even though in a lot of games today the buttons wont appear color coded on screen), while PlayStation went all white and Nintendo went all round for their buttons.

Reading combos in Tekken 8 is more inconvenient when all buttons are the same color.
