Georgian Artist Creates Very Funny Animal Dolls

Emina Poison is a Georgian artist who creates uniquely designed toys using a variety of materials, including wool and polymer clay. While her creations often depict animals, she also crafts peculiar and whimsical creatures in the same distinctive style.

In addition to her original work, Emina occasionally accepts commissions, particularly for custom pet dolls—each one irresistibly charming!

"I also work extensively on commission. Clients describe their vision, I create a sketch, and once approved, I bring it to life. Many of my commissioned pieces feature personalized details inspired by specific pets or people, interpreted through my artistic lens."

When asked to share a bit about herself, Emina playfully clarified that she lives in “Georgia—not the U.S. state, but the country near Turkey.”

She also reflected on what first sparked her passion for art:

"Since early childhood, I’ve been immersed in creative activities—drawing, sculpting with plasticine, and crafting with various materials. As a kid, I imagined a world filled with mysterious creatures hiding behind trees in the forest or peeking out from city gateways. When I grew up, I realized I could bring those creatures to life!"

Curious about her most challenging project, we asked Emina to share her experience.

She replied: "It’s hard to recall a specific one. Challenges usually come up when I’m unsure what material to use for a particular part of a toy. In those moments, I simply walk around my apartment, observing everyday objects until I find the perfect solution. It could be an old bank card, an aquarium net, a nut, a nail—anything at all!"

Finally, Emina shared: "I never create identical toys—each piece is one of a kind! While I occasionally make designs inspired by previous creations, no two are ever exactly alike. I always change key elements like the main color, accessories, and other details."

Some thoughts on this piece and on this issue below ⤵️

So, my initial plan was to do a Green Hill Loop, but incorporate more greenery and flora to actually make it feel like Green Hill and not just a basic grid. You can see a bit of that rough sketch at the very beginning of my timelapse.

But ultimately, I decided to stick to the abstract route and instead pulled directly from Sonic Mania for inspiration! I feel like nothing best captures that classic sonic aesthetic than that retro deco.

I also kind of found it fitting to pull inspo from Mania's OP for this one since Tyson Hesse mentioned before that this very cover was what inspired him to become an animator in the first place when discussing his cover for IDW #50.

I tried to fit as many Sonics as I could but ultimately skipped out on one, so there's 7 instead of 8 lol. I wanted to ensure that the "speediest" Sonic have his face covered by the quills of the Sonic still tapping his foot, as something I disliked about the original is the speediest Sonic overlapping the standing one. By all accounts, he should be Behind him and the other Sonics follow that suit, but if that particular Sonic did, his face would be covered. As a result, I compromised lol.

As for my thoughts on this issue!!!! I don't really have much haha. Ultimately, it's not going to be an issue I'm going to remember. It was just a fun silly issue, but there's not much there to really comment on. It was nice to see some more of Uncle Chuck though!!

With all that said, we're finally getting to the Actual series now and I can't wait ! <3

Moon and Sun where looking a lot after Eclipse during the first days when he was brought home from the vet by their owner. They were just glad to have him back in their lives.

Chapter 15, Behold Ganondorf’s Mighty Banana… Boxers‼️

[Ganondorf standing in the streets of Gerudo Town, lethal blade in hand. His attire? Barely appropriate.. just a pair of silk Mighty Banana boxers, the kind of artistically dubious choice that suggests he was rudely awoken. (May or may not be canon that Ganondorf owns a pair of Mighty Banana boxers. Artistic liberties were taken.) Goats are everywhere. Dangling precariously from a clothesline, gleefully scampering off with a stolen spear, and one particularly oddball is aggressively licking a wall. It's a scene of utter disarray, with Ganondorf seemingly caught between ending the madness and questioning his life choices.]

Without colors or context, this simple and stupid comic of mine feels so, so tense; It's ominous. The difference from the tone of my last doodle is low-key hilarious though.
