Soooooo my grandma has been a victim of identity theft. It SEEMS that maybe it started with the thief somehow getting access to one of her credit card’s info because on Jan 21st there was a $500 charge to a Sears card she has. The thief has her SSN and has been trying to open lots of store credit cards. Soooo yeah, my mom and I have been doing that all day. Calling credit check companies, filing a report on identitytheft.gov and then my mom had to take my grandma into the police station.
