Mob Psycho Characters Playing Minecraft (Headcanons)
Shigeo
He starts with creative mode, just to get the gist of it, before finally heading into survival but on peaceful. Then he’ll do survival easy mode and just stay on that tier forever, until he feels more confident to up his game a little higher.
Only played because Telepathy club was playing and he heard the word “Mob” and was like; “Did you call me?” and the club goes “nah fam, it Minecraft.” “what’s Minecraft.” Boom he plays.
Most likely to have a farm with a lot of cows
Has a dirt house/villager’s house on the first night and stops at just that.
Not much of a great builder
Takes forever to get diamonds
Dies often, but not too much. Just often enough for him to lose a few good iron pickaxes.
Always goes to bed once it’s night.
Most likely to have a pet cat
He just plays for fun, when he’s bored and stuff. So he doesn’t go as far as to defeating the ender dragon. He’ll travel to the nether though, just for potion making
But he does play a heck more when Teru’s around, or when the Telepathy club invites him.
He awaits for a frog update
Reigen
Jumps into survival hardcore right off the bat after watching one play through
Most likely to have a villager colony and farm
Makes a wooden house with windows and stuff on the first night with a furnace and a crafting table and a bed. The essentials. But he won’t stay in one house often and will move a lot
He can build, but he’s pretty amateur at it, he’s a fast learner though so he could easily replicate houses he see online
He’s the type of guy that never stops mining until he finds diamonds, which means he makes sure he’s at 13-11y in coordinates, has a shit ton of extra pickaxes, and stacks upon stacks of torches. Once he finds them goodies, he heads on home and repeats the cycle
He’ll defeat the ender dragon if he’s bored enough or when someone challenges/pays him to.
Same goes with The Wither
Will skip Minecraft sleep very often and will only go to bed when the phantom starts attacking
Most likely to have many many pet dogs, each one of them have name tags.
When he dies, he gets mad for a few hours, then jumps right back in. He doesn’t die all that often though, so he won’t rage quit.
He gets the minecraft books later on and you can see him reading it under his table time to time
Ritsu
He starts off with easy or normal without much knowledge on the game, probably only played because Shigeo introduced him to or Shou bugged him about it.
He’ll have a farm, but just for resources. Won't have much animals, mostly crops. He’ll live next to a village if there is one.
His first house will also be a dirt house, he’ll improve it overtime and add more levels and decorations. It can get very pretty in the end and he’ll be content to just stay and keep adding more to his house.
Not the best builder, but good enough for people to compliment it. He feels especially proud when Shigeo likes them, so he’s keen on building better and more.
He plans before he mines, calculates how many torches he needs and plans out what he’s exactly looking for, even calculates how many hunger bars each food item will fill before taking it with him.
If he gets really into the game, he’ll defeat the ender dragon, wither and head on into the nether. Not in that order though.
Will sleep if he doesn’t need to do anything
Most likely to have pets, perhaps a cat, or a dog, or a parrot. Only one though.
When he dies, he accepts it and moves on. Though, that would rarely happen.
Recently got into a forced Minecraft marriage with Shou. Is it forced if he enjoyed it though?
Teru
This bitch really just gonna jump right into survival just to flex on Shigeo.
Duh, of course he’ll have a farm. Will probably talk to the animals.
His first house is either borrowed from a villager or built with wood, but it’ll definitely not be a simple ass wooden house. It will be a nice fucking mansion, just watch him, he will. He’ll fight all the mobs he needs to just to built this mansion right off the bat, doesn’t even care if the first night he sleeps roofless.
Really good at building, because he wants to compete with Ritsu for fun and boast about it to Shigeo. Shigeo would just clap and be like “Wow so cool.”
“Thanks, made it myself, I can make one for you.” Shigeo declines, he’s an independent man, which makes Teru a mixture of disappointment and oh-my-god-you’re-adorable???
He doesn't plan when he mines, he just estimates and half ass some stuff before he struts into the cave. Sometimes he gets lost, but that’s perfectly fine.
Will defeat every mob boss and mob ever to show Shigeo he’s very powerful.
Doesn’t sleep, fights the phantom instead. Will sleep if Shigeo asks him to.
Most likely to have a pet cat, but he doesn’t mind dogs.
When he dies, he’s an angry baby and makes up some excuse as to why he’s dead. “I was distracted, didn’t see the lava. Whoops I guess ha ha no big deal.” But it is a big deal, he lost his diamonds, he wants to give it to his boyfriend but he cannot. Because he died.
Has yet to marry Shigeo in Minecraft.
Shou
Plays because he is a gamer. Survival hardcore ftw. He only plays multiplayer with Ritsu these days, never single player because he has been playing Minecraft his whole childhood and it gets boring on his own.
What’s a fucking farm? I take my food from my Minecraft husband.
Sleeps in a cave, but if Ritsu’s done with the house, he joins his bed with him and sleeps under a roof.
But he’s really really good at building, probably the best next to Serizawa. If you gave him the resources and time, he can recreate Seasoning City.
A concerning miner, jumps in with just torches and a pickaxe and somehow still survives (mostly because Ritsu always goes looking for him)
Could probably easily defeat the bosses because he has already done it so many times
Will only sleep when Ritsu is, which is almost all the time.
He owns every kind of animal.
He dies too many times because he really doesn’t mind, it makes Ritsu mad and that’s what keeps him going.
Shou was suffocated in sand.
“S H O U.” Ritsu yells at the boy next to him.
Was the one that proposed to Ritsu, invited everyone to the wedding; including Serizawa and Reigen.
Serizawa
Played while he was still hiding in his home, so he knows everything about the game when he finally played it with Reigen or the kids.
He loves farming, even the animals, it’s oddly calming to take care of something that won’t die unless he hits em.
He always collects resources first before he actually starts building a home, so he always sleeps in a cave or a villager’s house.
After years of experience, he became really good at building, he use to spend time recreating maps from other games. But he says Shou is better than him, the boy disagrees.
Yeah he mines, but he’s wary of dying when he heads into the cave, so he always brings too many torches.
Makes sure he is very very prepared before defeating bosses
Always sleeps in time, because Reigen said so. Well, because Reigen advised it, what a hypocrite am I right?
Doesn’t have pets, and even if he does, he always make them stay put at one place.
Doesn’t die all that often, almost not at all.
He pretends to not be good at the game when Reigen’s around, he mostly lets the other do what they wanna do because he loves watching his husband play.
“Serizawa! Look, I made the zombie villager back into a villager!” Reigen pointed, Serizawa smiles and nods. He already knew how to do that, but Reigen’s discovery makes it feel he discovered something new himself.
Tome
Bro this woman is so experienced to a point everyone consults her for tips.
She’s building up to find aliens in minecraft, even though they don’t exist, but she’s convinced they’re an easter egg or something.
No, she doesn’t farm. She takes em from the villagers, but she has a few beehives here and there.
She’s only mining to find diamonds as a peace offering to minecraft aliens.
One time she thought the Wither was an alien.
One time, she thought the phantom was an alien.
One time she thought the ghast was an alien.
Has died multiple times because she is careless, but she is never upset about it. Always jumps right back into the game immediately.
Parrots are her pets, because they f l y and d a n c e.
One time she thought the creepers were aliens.
She has this summoning circle made of redstone and torches in case there really are aliens.
She believes in herobrine and sometimes tries to summon him.
She thinks the aliens made the temples in minecraft.
Other Characters
Minegishi has so many bees and flowers and crops it’s almost covering the whole map.
Takenaka plays because it’s very quiet and calming
Shimazaki cannot play. He is blind.
Shou’s old resistance team use to play with him, now they sometimes play together as a trio when Shou is playing with Ritsu.
Mukai and Tsuchi play because Mukai wanted to, she has a lot of armor stands in her house.
Tsubomi does not play, she played once and didn’t enjoy it all that much, but she’s perfectly happy watching her friends play.
Emi roleplays in minecraft.
Mezato doesn’t play, but she likes watching minecraft videos on youtube, mostly the theories.
Everyone in the awakening lab plays, Kurosaki is fantastic at mining because she always knows which way are the mobs and which way are the diamonds. Asahi is an arsonist.
Minori once got invited by Shigeo to play, then she proceeded to buy minecraft and everything in it to impress him. Shigeo only congratulated her once. Contemplating buying the whole of Mojang, but she’s a good girl now so she won’t.
Hoshida plays to impress Tome. Too bad, son, she’s not into you.

TUA Coffee Shop AU!!! (except there is no Coffee Shop just a Bar) [Part I]
Let’s do another Umbrella Academy headcanon because I don’t want to revise for exams and this is the perfect way to procrastinate!
Just so you know, in this headcanon the kids have no powers and are just normal, everyday kids and they technically aren’t kids (they are teenagers/young adults), but I still intend to refer to them as kids, because they are just so adorable.
Also - this AU contains some ships, to be precise: Luther/Alison and Five/Vanya and I guess, you could find Klaus/Ben if you really wanted to. However, for controversy’s sake and because I honestly don’t feel like dealing with people telling me what a gross thing my wicked mind came up with or something similarly silly, you can rest assured that they are not actually siblings in this AU. So we all good? I hope we all good.
Also, I’ve never done this, but I feel like I should just to be safe here, so:
Trigger Warning!
This headcanon talks about child abuse, drug abuse, psychological abuse and domestic violence. None of this is talked about explicitly, but it is mentioned and I understand it can be upsetting to some people. And let’s be honest - it would be difficult to do Normal-Kids AU and keep the characters the same if they didn’t have their trauma.
With that out of the way, let’s proceed to the actual headcanon!
Firstly, all the kids go to the same high school. Luther, Diego and Alison are the oldest and are about to finish their final year and go on to uni. Klaus and Vanya just turned 17, Vanya is one year behind the trio, but Klaus is technically in the same year as them and about to graduate early. Ben is 16 but in the same programme for gifted students as Klaus. Five is the youngest, just 15, but is too smart for his age, also in the special programme, and is going to graduate next year (so technically the same year as Vanya). If it’s confusing, then don’t worry. It will hopefully become clearer as you read on.
Now I should start explaining who actually is related to whom. Five (although in this AU he has an actual name - Quentin, I was thinking Fievel for a bit, but Quentin just sounds more like Five) and Luther are brothers (it is canon in the comics and I found it a fun idea) and their father is Reginald Hargreeves. Luther is older and is finishing high-school, Five is younger than him (he is 15 in this AU), but he is in a programme for gifted students and therefore just one year bellow Luther.
Problem is, both brothers are currently in a difficult position. Their father was an abusive bastard (because that is the Reginald we know and love) who had been tormenting their mother (Dolores, because in the show she is someone Five actually cares deeply for) their whole life. Their mom took the burn of the physical abuse and did her best to shield the children, so they “only” had to put up with the verbal and psychological abuse. Reginald obviously preferred Luther, the golden boy, the sport-prodigy and the son that never defied him or acted against him. He spoiled Luther rotten and gave him everything he wanted. The younger, quieter, much smarter and much less docile Quentin was a thorn in Reginald’s side. The boy was happy to stand up to him and argue whenever he felt like their father was being unfair to their soft-spoken and loving mother. That behaviour started at a young age. Reginald rarely got him anything, Quentin was used to taking care of himself (he got into the gifted class with his own efforts, because he wanted to have a better chance of snatching a scholarship and stop relying on his father for anything at all).
It was only when Reginald raised his cane against Quentin in a fit of rage that their mother couldn’t stand it anymore. She decided to take her boys and leave. However, because she was a housewife most of her life, she had little money and not many prospects. The only place she was able to afford at such short notice was a tiny flat with two bedrooms in a dodgy part of town. This flat is in a small building, above a bar that also serves as a night club on weekends (they only hire DJs for three nights in the week). Luther was baffled and furious with everything. He was so sheltered from the horrors happening in their house that he considered their father to be “stern”, but not cruel. He didn’t know about half of the abuse their mom went through (partially because he learnt to turn a blind eye, partially because she did her best not to tarnish the image Luther had of his father, she knew he adored Reginald). He mostly wanted for things to go back to the way they were - with his parents together and his father buying him everything.
Quentin, on the other hand, was delighted that they finally left. He was not happy with the living situation they ended up in, but he was determined to cope. Anything, anything at all, was better than staying with their father. He was ready to find a job to help mom support them (she had a long road ahead: she was divorcing one of the wealthiest people in the world while fighting for the custody of her children, the court expenses were likely to skyrocket), but Dolores was against the idea. She wanted her children to have a good childhood and didn’t want to burden them. That’s why Quentin decided that he would find a secret job. There must have been a way to juggle work, family and school and he was determined to find it. He ends up as a semi-unofficial bartender at the night club downstairs.
Speaking of the bar there were three important women working there; Eudora and Alison Patch (yes, in this AU they are sisters) and Vanya White. Eudora is the oldest, currently training to become a police officer, just like her father. She works at the nearby bar to earn some pocket money (the bar is actually a pretty safe and quiet place except for the weekends). Alison is the star of their high school theatre club and wants to become an actress, she is going to turn 18 soon, but her dad does not allow her to work at the bar all by herself. She only goes there to help Eudora every now and then and they split the payment when she does. She is also good friends with Vanya (both Patch sisters think about her more like a little sister than anything else) and likes to hang out around the bar when it’s Vanya’s shift just to chat with her.
Vanya is Klaus’ twin sister. They both come from an abusive household, but the social services took them away from their father a while ago. After the death of their mother, their father started locking the kids up in cupboards or under the stairs like Harry Potter. He would also humiliate and degrade them whenever he could and sometimes beat Klaus up to “fix” his “unnatural” ways. Eventually, Vanya couldn’t stand it and called the cops after their father almost killed Klaus and broke her hand when she attempted to help. Now the kids live in foster care, which isn’t great, but they manage. They don’t live with the best guardians, but they both figured that neglect is better than negative attention from your parental figure, so they do their best to be as invisible as possible.
Klaus is a really clever kid, but his mind tends to get a little too loud and cluttered and the time with their father left him pretty messed up. He developed claustrophobia and proper PTSD. The few sessions of counselling he got after the police locked their father up were not enough to help him and so he turned to addictive substances to chase “the voices” away. Even though he is undoubtedly outlandish, his brain is still brilliant. He has absolute hearing and eidetic memory, therefore, he can pick up languages and accents the first time he hears them. That is how he got into the same programme for gifted students that Quentin is part of.
That doesn’t stop him from attempting to numb his mind - sometimes he falls into debt with people in the drug cartel and they roughen him up to remind him he has to pay. Every time that happens, Vanya gives him money to pay them back. Klaus never really questions where exactly she gets the money from and Vanya never tells him that she spends her afternoons and nights working at a bar. She just wants to make sure that her brother, the only family she has left, is alright.
Vanya desperately wants to study music, but she can only practice at school, because “nobody likes to hear that screeching at home”. So she rarely goes to their foster home. She stays at school until they close and then spends time at the bar. She takes naps in the storage room or in one of the booths after they close up. Vanya is the youngest bartender there, only just turned 17, she lied on her application and pretends she is older than she is (Klaus taught her a thing or two about how to lie). Alison and Eudora know (Vanya goes to the same school as Alison and is part of the theatre orchestra), but Vanya made both of them swear not to tell anyone because she desperately needs the money. The Patch sisters reluctantly agreed, but they don’t like to leave her there by herself and almost never let her take the weekend shifts (the number of drunks, high and overall weird people that flock towards dark, secluded night clubs is incredible).
Vanya tends to go to this small doughnut shop every morning on her way to school. The shop is co-owned by two lovely ladies, Agnes and Grace. Agnes has a husband, Hazel, but unfortunately, they never managed to have kids, even though they both wanted to. Agnes adores Vanya and eventually (at the end of this AU) convinces her husband to adopt both White siblings. Grace has one son, Diego (because how could I separate these two?), who just about to start attending the police academy. He thinks of Vanya as his little sister and looks after her at school. Eventually, he meets Eudora and finds out that Vanya works at the bar and is outraged at the whole situation, but that doesn’t happen for a long while yet. Vanya also eventually brings Quentin to the doughnut shop and it becomes “their place”. Grace and Dolores eventually meet and bond over what they had to endure in their ill-fated marriages. (Grace’s husband was an army officer and died in action so she knows it is difficult to adjust to life alone, without the support of a spouse.) (And yes, apparently half of the father figures in this AU [except for Alison and Eudora’s dad, Diogo's hero of a father and Ben’s parents] are scum. I haven't even introduced Harold, yet. I just had to account for their traumas somehow.)
If you are wondering about Ben, then I can assure you that unlike most of the others he actually comes from a good, loving family. He is also part of the programme for gifted students and has been friends with Klaus for forever. He is not happy with his best friend’s drug abuse and tries to find ways to help him, but so far he hadn’t come up with a lasting solution. He is not giving up though. He is brilliant in maths and physics which is how he instantly befriends Quentin when the boy starts attending their school, but his favourite subject is literature, more specifically poetry. He and Vanya write songs together for the school musicals and at one point they think of starting a band with Diego.
I know this is really long already, so I am going to do a separate post for the plot of this headcanon. Look up either #Tees Thoughts to see all my crazy Umbrella Academy ideas or #Normellacademy (because I love to give my headcanons the worst names possible) for the second part of this particular headcanon. I will post the plot for this craziness soon.

All My Life, for You - Ch. 8:
Fic Description:
Mi-Cha and Saeyoung have been happily married for 5 years and their lives have never been happier. The same could be said for Saeran who is now in a much healthier place than he was a few years ago. The twins are close once again, their lives are healthy and normal for the most part. It would seem the picture perfect happily ever after, if it weren’t for the fact that someone who has been looking for them for a long time is about to make an unwelcome appearance.
Saeyoung has two things in this world he has sworn to protect, and nothing is going to stop him from keeping his promise this time.
Relationships: Saeyoung Choi/MC (named), Saeran Choi/OC
Chapter Description:
The trio arrive home safe and sound and the boys get to work. Some light is shed on exactly who they are dealing with. Unknown manages to help in an unconventional way.
AO3 Link | First Chapter
After Saeyoung has properly cleared the security checks, the trio pass through the expansive garage and into the household/bunker where they’ve lived together for the past several years. This is home for all of them, but the dead silence and darkness leaves a strange unfamiliarity to the place. The air has a slight staleness to it after being devoid of life for a few days. Luckily this is easily remedied with a few voice commands for the lights and central air. Mi-Cha and Saeyoung dump their suitcases unceremoniously in the living room while Saeran opts to head straight down the hallway to his bedroom with his.
Mi-Cha plops herself down on the plush red couch, letting out a long sigh as she stares up at the ceiling and yawns. “Long drives make me so tired,” she says.
Saeyoung chuckles, “You weren't even the one driving, I’m the one that should be tired.”
“You love driving, plus I'm pretty sure you require like ⅓ the amount of sleep as a normal human being.”
“Are you calling me weird?” Saeyoung pretends to be offended.
“No, baby. I’m calling you extraordinary .” She says, standing once again to give her husband a light embrace.
“Ready to get to work?” Saeran asks his brother from the hallway, having returned from his bedroom. “I already started our computers, so whenever you’re ready,” he adds before turning into their now shared, glass-enclosed work area.
Mi-Cha gives Saeyoung another quick squeeze and releases him, patting him on the shoulder as she passes by him and heads into the kitchen. “You go get to work, I’ll bring you guys some lunch.”
The boys settle into their work stations, previously this room had been just Saeyoung’s work area, but after Saeran moved in the older twin rearranged the room and purchased Saeran a new setup since his had been lost in the dissolution of Mint Eye. At the time it had been almost a peace offering, a testament to the fast that Saeyoung wanted his brother in his life and wouldn't stop trying to prove it to him. Saeran didn’t use it at first, not sure how he felt about working back to back with Saeyoung, but eventually, he warmed up to the idea.
After the twins started taking freelance jobs together they both realized the value of another set of eyes. Saeran could spot a missing character in Saeyoung’s code that had been stumping him for weeks and Saeyoung had a lot of suggestions on how Saeran could organize and streamline his workflow. Together they had become even better than they had been apart, finally able to play on each other's strengths and weaknesses instead of battling against each other. It was different for both of them to have someone else to rely on, but nice.
The twins pick up where they left off. Saeran resumes the search for his stalker, made much more convenient by his usual monitor setup as opposed to one laptop screen. He had reviewed the public CCTV footage from that night, but what he really needed was the footage from the club. Hacking the public CCTV had been a breeze but he was having a harder time hacking into the clubs security system, where he knew the best shots of the two people he saw that night would be.
“What kind of club has security this tight?” Saeran wonders allowed in frustration as he hammers away at the impressive firewall the club has.
Saeyoung glances over his shoulder and hops up “Oh! I almost forgot.” he walks over to his brother's workstation. “May I?” he poses.
“Sure?” Saeran says doubtfully, moving out of the way to give Saeyoung access to his keyboard.
He watches as Saeyoung enters a few quick commands and the wall comes down no problem.
“How did you do that?” Saeran asks, slightly exasperated.
“That club’s security was one of my jobs a few years ago, some high-profile heiresses had been known to frequent the place at the time and their daddy’s paid a pretty penny to upgrade the security to keep any creeps away from them. Surprised they’re still using it honestly.”
Saeran chuckles shortly “How is that you still find ways to make my job harder, even now that we work together?”
“Hey!” Saeyoung exclaims, heading back to his desk. “It’s totally not my fault this time.”
Saeran begins to flip through footage from the night before and mumbles “It never was.”
Saeyoung smiles, and after a few minutes, turns his attention back to his task of hacking into the cameras around their childhood home to try to get an idea of what kind of activity could be going on there. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get very far before realizing that’s going to be impossible. “They're all out…”
Saeran swings around in his chair. “What do you mean?” He wheels over next to his brother and looks at the map Saeyoung has open on one of his many screens then types in an access point where he knows a camera should be. Nothing. He checks the data log. “Disabled two weeks ago?” He types in another, same thing. Saeyoung watches as his brother checks a few more, before finding one that's still running, about 3 blocks away from the house. “Anything within a few blocks has been shut down,” Saeran says, confirming what his brother already knew but that Saeran had to check for himself.
Saeyoung nods. “Any camera even remotely near the house is down. That doesn’t make any sense, the only people with access to the CCTV systems would be people like us or-” and his eyes go wide.
“The government,” Saeran says, finishing the thought.
“This isn’t a coincidence” Saeyoung states.
They both know what it means. Saeyoung stands and begins a slow pace around the room “I don’t understand, why us? Why now?”
“You know why us…” Saeran deadpans, turning around in his chair and watching his brother.
“Yea... I know but, why does he still think we’re a threat? It's been 26 years, we haven't caused him any trouble. We-"
Saeran stops him "He doesn't care, the threat we pose to him is in our very existence. He's never going to stop. Maybe it just took him this long to find us. Maybe someone from the agency sold you out, whatever the reason, I think it's safe to say we know who's behind this now and we need to be extremely careful."
"Yea… any luck with the club's footage?" Saeyoung asks.
Saeran wheels back over to his side of the room. "Footage from last night is still downloading. I'm hoping I can get some clues into what I - er, what Unknown saw during the switch. What he was warning me about"
Saeyoung goes back to his computer, he’ll admit he hasn’t been keeping as many tabs on their father as he probably should have been. The intrusive thoughts start again. I’ve become careless, this is all my fault.
Mi-Cha enters the room with two plates of sandwiches finding both boys with their faces only centimeters from their monitors. Saeyoung is typing away vigorously, his brow is furrowed. Saeran is closely watching surveillance video of a street corner. “You two sit with your noses in your screens and wonder why your eyesight sucks” she teases.
Neither twin acknowledges her poke at fun as they thank her for her offering and return to their posts.
“That bad huh?” She tries.
”We’re pretty sure this has something to do with our father.” Saeyoung fills her in.
A chill runs down Mi-Cha’s spine, although not that any of their potential enemies were unthreatening, but the Prime Minister bears a certain foreboding aura about him that not even RIka or the agency could compete with. He was above the law. Hell, he practically was the law.
“Do you think this has something to do with him running for president again?” Mi-Cha asks
“He’s running again?” Saeran asks, obviously surprised.
“He announced it this morning, I just saw it on the news.”
Saeyoung pulls up articles confirming what his wife saw.
“He fell out of the race quickly last time but he’s even more popular than he used to be. Especially after he pulled that publicity stunt with helping find homes for all those orphans last month.”
Saeran scoffs. “Well, isn't that ironic?” he says venomously.
“He just loves children doesn't he?” Saeyoung adds, matching his brother’s tone.
“I’ll say,” Mi-Cha responds sympathetically. “Anyway, since a big chunk of his supporters come from all his campaigning with “Save the Kids” it makes sense he’d come after you guys now. If people found out about what kind of father he truly is…”
“It would destroy him and oh, what a shame that would be,” Saeran says in a distantly familiar taunting voice, that neither Saeyoung or Mi-Cha have heard in quite a while.
“What are you thinking?” Saeyoung turns to him just in time to see his brother place his hand on his forehead and hiss.
“You ok?” Mi-Cha inquires?
“Y-Yea, I just… have a headache. I’m gonna go take something for it. I’ll be right back.” Saeran excuses himself.
When Mi-Cha is sure Saeran is out of earshot, she turns to her husband. “He’s worrying me, it’s been a long time since he switched like this, I think it happened this morning also.”
Saeyoung nods. “I’m worried too. It makes sense though, tensions are high right now. Just be ready in case he switches fully.”
"I should be the one telling you that," Mi-Cha tells him, "Unknown likes me, remember?"
“How could I forget?” Saeyoung answers before sighing at his wife’s point "Do you think he’ll ever forgive me?”
Mi-Cha purses her lips and hugs Saeyoung’s head to her side as he is still seated and runs her fingers through his curls. “It’s hard to say, he obviously hasn’t been one for talking anytime he’s showed up. But with everything he went through, it's no wonder.” She sighs, “But Saeran’s not stupid and he knows him the best that anyone can, so if he says Unknown might be changing, then I’d like to believe him.”
“Yea, me too. I know he wouldn’t say something like that unless he thought it was true, with Unknown slipping through more often, I’m guessing we'll find out soon enough.”
“Just be ready,” She tells him.
“Hey! That’s my line!” Saeyoung whines.
Mi-Cha giggles, “Not anymore! Now eat your lunch.”
“Yes, Ma’am!” Saeyoung teases turning his attention back to his computer.
Mi-Cha leaves the workroom, finding Saeran in the hallway on the phone, evidently finishing up a phone call.
“Thanks, Dr. Lee.” He says into the receiver
“Yea, Thursday is still good, and I’ll try the journaling thing for sure. See you then.” He finishes up and returns his phone to his pocket.
Mi-Cha smiles at him politely. “Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt.”
“No problem, I just wanted to get Dr. Lee’s opinion on the…”
“Switching?” She finishes for him.
“Yea.”
“What did she say?” Mi-Cha pries gently.
“That I ``should attempt to seize the opportunity to create a better harmony amongst my system.`` and that my alter reaching out to me first is something that I should take as a good sign towards achieving that.”
“That's great!” Mi-Cha says brightly, “I’m assuming you didn't go into all the details?”
He scoffs “Of course not.”
“Still, I’m glad you talked to her.” She smiles at him, “I’m really proud of you, you know that right?”
His eyes widen as he coughs out an awkward half-chuckle, “It’s nothing to be proud of, really.”
“But it is.” She argues, “Look, I know you’re basically programmed not to accept compliments but we’re both really proud of you, and the RFA too.”
He looks down, avoiding her eyes and feeling a bit embarrassed both from the call out and the compliment. “Thanks, Mi-Cha.”
“Anytime.”
“I’m gonna get back to work now.” He says, moving back to the workroom
“Don’t forget to eat!” She chides.
“Yes, Ma’am!” He obeys.
“You two are more alike than you even know,” Mi-Cha says under her breath as she retreats to her and Saeyoung’s bedroom to unpack.
--
Saeran settles back down at his workstation, finding the footage from the club fully downloaded. He presses play and moves the scrubber to around the time he knows he was there. Finding the part of the recording where he walks in, he sits back and watches. At first, it’s the part he remembers, walking in, trying to blend in and dancing . He feels his cheeks begin to heat up as the embarrassment from watching himself dance sets in.
Then comes the switch. It’s almost uncanny how obvious it is. He watches his form shift from an awkward shuffle to something much, much different. Something almost... sensual? His cheeks heat up some more and he really hopes Saeyoung isn’t watching over his shoulder, but he's too afraid to look.
He watches as his - or rather Unknown’s attention is drawn to someone entering. “That’s him!” He hisses out, Quickly whipping his head around to see if his brother heard him, no longer possessing the same fear from a moment ago. Luckily he finds Saeyoung with his headphones on, intently working on something. He breathes a sigh of relief.
“But then who was that other guy?” he continues to think out loud as he watches his alter on camera follow the hooded man from a distance, assessing the situation. While still dancing like that. He cringes again. The hooded man takes a seat at the bar, takes out his phone and proceeds to take what appears to be not so stealthy video recording of him. He’s sloppy, and he has no idea who he’s dealing with.
Unknown does not make it obvious he’s realized what's going on, of course. He bides his time, watching the man and takes a moment to 'send' that text to Saeran, warning him. Then he does something Saeran doesn't expect but isn't exactly surprised by. He watches as Unknown approaches a woman, innocent-looking enough but he knows how good he is with words. He whispers in her ear, she whispers back, they chat a little bit. He seems to ask her something, she pushes his chest playfully and shakes her head “no” but then he hands her a 50,000 Won note. Saeran gasps and thinks absently about the ins and outs of money management when someone else lives in your body. Back on screen, the girl stares at him for a second then shrugs, pocketing the money and approaching the now distracted man at the bar.
The woman does a marvelous job of distracting the man. “Picking girls to do your dirty work again I see,” Saeran mutters. He doesn’t know where his father managed to find this guy but he needs to fire him or hire more just like him rather. This would be a lot easier if all his lackeys were this oblivious. Unknown walks behind the man and swipes his phone off the bar, and head to where Saeran is pretty sure the bathroom is.
He returns a few minutes later and places the phone back in its spot he then looks directly into the camera and motions to his back pocket, and… winks ?
The girl stays a few minutes longer before excusing herself and going back to her group of friends. The man grabs his phone and looks around the club, assumingly for his target. But Unknown has managed to hide behind a speaker tower. The man gives up easily, leaving the club. Unknown approaches the girl again, whispers in her ear assumingly thanking her and pecks her cheek lightly. She bashfully covers her smile and nods. Saeran touches his lips as heat spreads over his face again.
And then he switches back, once again the awkward dancing boy in a crowd of strangers. The man he had confused with his stalker walks in and goes to sit with his date. He feels like a fool all over again. He watches himself leave and feels a little bad as the girl who helped out his alter looks around in confusion for him.
“You’re never gonna get a girlfriend like that bro.” Saeyoung’s voice comes from behind him.
“Ack! When did you get there? How long have you been watching?’ Saeran says, caught off guard.
“Long enough to watch you kiss a girl and then run away,” Saeyoung says incredulously.
“I didn’t kiss her!” Saeran defends
“But you ran.”
“I don’t even know her! I don't have time for this! I, I have to go check my pockets from yesterday.” Saeran gets up.
“Umm? Ok?” Saeyoung says confusedly as Saeran heads out of the room again.
Saeran returns a minute later with a small note written on a brown paper towel.
“What’s that?” Saeyoung asks.
“A note, from my other half.”
Saeyoung taps his chin thoughtfully “But I didn’t write you a note.”
Saeran rolls his eyes. “Not you. I’m talking about the other guy in my head.”
“I’m wounded, I thought I was your other half.” He whines, attempting to wrap his arms around Saeran, which he dodges effectively.
“Save it for your wife, would you?”
“Boo, fine.” Saeyoung gives in. “So what’s it say?”
“It says ``Shut up Saeyoung.``''
Saeyoung shrugs “Sounds about right.”
Saeran takes a deep breath “It actually says that the guy that had been following me had a physical description of me as well as a bunch of photos me from that night. He deleted them. He didn’t have enough time to properly go through everything on his phone but says it looks like they weren’t uploaded anywhere else and that there hadn’t been any communication with anyone for a few hours, so it should buy us some time and… shit.”
“What?” Saeyoung asks urgently.
Saeran hesitates “There was also a description of Mi-Cha, which he altered some details of, hoping to throw them off a bit, but not make it too obvious.”
Saeyoung peaks over his brother’s shoulder, now stone-faced. “Shit,” he says, voice thick with worry again, it was enough to know they were onto Saeran but Mi-Cha too? “That’s… bad.” he mutters “But kinda good? In a way, I guess. I don't like that they’re on our trail but… I guess I'm almost glad he was there? At least we have a better idea of what we’re dealing with thanks to him.”
“Me too, I don't think I could have been able to do what he did, My plan was just to run.” Saeran skims over the note again. “Oh, it looks like he also put a tracker on his phone.”
“Nice, we can start looking into that." Saeyoung pauses. "Um, is there anything about me?” he asks wearily.
“Nothing,” Saeran responds empathetically.
Saeyoung purses his lips and nods. “At least we know what they have on you guys, that’s more important anyway.”
They both fall silent and Saeyoung turns back to his screen. After a few moments Saeran speaks up again “Hey, Idiot” he calls, and Saeyoung turns to him, “You’re important too.”

Detroit: Become Human story prompts / ideas (1-25) pt. 1
These are prompts that came from me. I wrote them before I saw anything else. The only thing I want out of this is that if you ever end up using these prompts publicly, please credit me.
1
Detroit: After Story. The deviants have peacefully gained their freedom. The humans slowly accepted their new form of intelligent life. It was all going good until a group of anti-androids have captured Alice in Canada. After days of searching, Alice was last seen in the outskirts of Detroit. The trio meet up and form a plan to save Alice and stop the humans.
2
Blue blood. The most obvious sign to point out the difference between the humans and the androids. It has been a year after everything has happened. So, purple blood rose to the surface and Connor and Hank went to investigate what exactly has happened and where the purple blood belonged to.
3
RK900’s life. Markus has ended the revolution on a peaceful note. Two months after the events, he came across a blue-eyed Connor. Realizing this wasn’t Connor at all, Markus goes to Hank and Connor and questions who the android is and why it won’t leave his side.
4
Simon’s Return. Sure, Markus was relieved that Simon came back in one piece and is alive but Simon isn’t the same. Markus observed that Simon has been avoiding him unless absolutely necessary. Did Markus do anything wrong?
5
Runaway Cole. Instead of him passing away, he “ran away” and was not seen for the next 10 years and presumed dead. Connor, who was currently standing in front of Cole’s supposed grave gets a shock as he was confronted by the now 16-year old Cole.
6
Russian Roulette. A game of luck and desperation. Ralph picked up a revolver from another abandoned house. As his deviancy and stress level turned up a whole lot, he realized his loneliness. With no one to turn to, he decides to play.
7
Connor, now a deviant, is currently homeless. With Cyberlife shutting down the part of their place where Connor usually stayed, he has nowhere to go. A few quick searches and scans and he suddenly appears at Hank’s doorstep.
8
North had been using Markus all along. After the revolution peacefully ended, she decided enough was enough since she would never get what she wanted: revenge. She confesses everything to Markus and leaves, interlocking hands with a Traci. Markus is devastated and guarded his heart with a huge wall. Simon watched everything from the sidelines, hesitating whether to step in to help Markus trust again.
9
Connor RK800 meets the only other model of his series: Markus RK200. They’re both prototypes with them solely owning their models. They have no other copies so when they see Connor’s RK900 version and a Markus RK900, they were confused as to where they came from. Both of them find Kamski laughing his a— off as they approach his humble abode.
10
Curses and a bet. The Detroit Police made a bet on who could make Connor curse first. Hank was very confident and tried ways to make him scream a bad word.
11
Daniel was given another chance at life. Waking up to Detroit where deviancy was suddenly accepted, he was confused. Who gave him his life back and what had happened when he was gone?
12
Connor asks Kamski to build more RK series androids in order to help the police force. Kamski accepted and a few months later, the office were full of Connors. This was not what Connor had in mind.
13
Luther meets Connor for the very first time. From what he had heard from Kara, he was the android who tried to capture them on the highway. Connor greets with a ‘hello’ and Luther greeted back with a fist to Connor’s face.
14
Hank’s pride. It was very difficult to get a reaction from Hank except if it was anger and sarcasm. Connor made it his mission to make Hank admit they are friends and maybe something more.
15
The Eden Club was closed down after the revolution and all the Traci’s are released. One of them ended up wanting to stay in Hank’s home. Hank can’t seem to get mad at the Traci and tried to calmly make her go away. And at that same home, we have a very jealous Connor who doesn’t even know he’s feeling it.
16
Connor’s horrible alcohol tolerance. Not long after the acceptance of androids, the market rose up to making a whole new set of materials and even drinks that androids may consume. Android alcohol cannot be handled very well by them right now. So when Connor, being his usual self was analyzing a strange liquid on the floor during his investigation with Hank, halfway through, he gets “drunk” and they were dismissed for the rest of the day. Hank ends up with a very wobbly and clumsy drunk Connor and tries to survive the day.
17
A year after the events of Detroit with androids, Connor is living with Hank. Connor decides to get another dog without Hank’s permission. Boosted up by Connor’s excitement when he was “ordering” dogs through his mind palace, he accidentally ordered 10 of them. As Hank entered, he was greeted with Sumo, Connor, and ten of the smallest dogs he had ever encountered.
18
Simon struggles with his feelings for Markus. Especially since North is seeming to win him over. One night, Markus walks in on Simon crying his heart out.
19
Connor’s LED. After a chase with a human murderer, Connor’s LED was hit and it had to be removed. Now Hank can’t seem to see what the android is feeling. No more yellows, reds and blues.
20
Markus’ Sacrifice, Simon’s PTSD. Simon kept having flashbacks from the day when Markus decided to put himself in flames to show their determination to the humans. Except in that flashback, it didn’t end up with Markus dying. Simon saved Markus by pushing Markus away and towards the armed humans. Everything was recorded and was shown to millions of people. Highlights show that the leader of the deviants was stopped by another deviant and was held down on the ground with a tight embrace. Simon screaming stop to the humans while he held an unconscious Markus. Months passed, he and Markus live together in a small peaceful home that was a few houses away from Hank and Connor’s. Simon struggled with the flashbacks as Markus kept reassuring him he will always be with him.
21
Connor Anderson. The duo were undercover when their suspect asked them who he was. He shocked both of them as he answered with Hank’s last name. That specific detail were leaked into the Detroit Police and everytime they would arrive by the office, they were teased as Detroit’s Power Husbands. Connor seemingly not affected while Hank waved everyone off with denial.
22
Hank accepts androids as living beings but despises the idea of falling in love and getting together with androids. He shows his disgust with the foulest of ways and in front of Connor, whom in secret, is holding unrequited love for his Lieutenant.
23
Markus roams Jericho when he found Simon at the edge of the metal plank. As Simon turns around and looks like he’d been crying, Markus does his best to get him out of there and prevent him from jumping.
24
Hank overhears a conversation between Gavin and Connor who apparently became friends months after the revolution ended. Hank overheard that Connor seems to like someone but can never tell that person. They also turn out to be human. Hank being the densest person ever, he assumes Connor was talking about Gavin but cannot bring himself to tell Gavin himself so Hank tries to play matchmaker when he’s been doing everything wrong.
25
Detroit never seems to run out of people being against androids. Now, they’re protesting against android/human relationships. Connor didn’t give a single care about that protest until he started to feel something for Lieutenant Hank. Hank seems to even be pro to the protest and laughs about it in the Police Office. Everyone else in the Office can see Connor’s love for the Lieutenant but Hank himself cannot. With the help of Gavin and other officers, they push Hank towards a realization and towards Connor, also quite literally.

Memoir
Black Boy Out of Time by Hari Ziyad, Pages: 314, Publication Date: 1March 2021
Synopsis: An eloquent, restless, and enlightening memoir by one of the most thought-provoking journalists today about growing up Black and queer in America, reuniting with the past, and coming of age their own way.
One of nineteen children in a blended family, Hari Ziyad was raised by a Hindu Hare Kṛṣṇa mother and a Muslim father. Through reframing their own coming-of-age story, Ziyad takes readers on a powerful journey of growing up queer and Black in Cleveland, Ohio, and of navigating the equally complex path toward finding their true self in New York City. Exploring childhood, gender, race, and the trust that is built, broken, and repaired through generations, Ziyad investigates what it means to live beyond the limited narratives Black children are given and challenges the irreconcilable binaries that restrict them.
Heartwarming and heart-wrenching, radical and reflective, Hari Ziyad’s vital memoir is for the outcast, the unheard, the unborn, and the dead. It offers us a new way to think about survival and the necessary disruption of social norms. It looks back in tenderness as well as justified rage, forces us to address where we are now, and, born out of hope, illuminates the possibilities for the future.

Age: 30

bio:
Tw: Abuse, Rape
Carter Abbott was a stubborn man, but a smart man. Like his dad before him he studied history and believed if you wanted to change the future you had to look in the past. Carter was on his way to his friends house when he was stopped by a woman. She was striking and brutal all at the same time. They were only supposed to spend one night. He honestly forgot or at least he would have told everyone he forgot about that woman he had that one night stand with. Until he saw her again this time she had a child with her. He asked her who the baby was and she simply handed the boy over and smiled. She told him who she was and told him to name the baby after a great man since that’s what their son was going to be. But, they didn’t just have a son. A few years later, Carter ended up finding himself face to face with the striking goddess once more. This time, she bore a daughter to whom he named Madison after James Madison.
Raising Link and Madi was far from an easy feat. Link always seemed to know exactly what he was going to say or do and when Link argued back, Madi was right there with him. The ornery little girl edging her big brother, who she looked up to more than anyone in the world, on. Madi was a bright girl full of life. She rarely ever sat still, always running around with this infectious smile. She was playful and yet endearing. A breath of fresh air and, while Link always had witty and quick retorts, Madi was one to ramble on and on.
They had a happy and rambunctious family. But, their little trio didn’t last. Their father delved deeper and deeper into his research, being consumed by his obsession with the past and when Madi was only 12 years old, their father went on a research trip and never returned. They wanted to go look for him, but they were denied and they never were able to figure out what happened to him.
Their father’s passion was history, Link’s passion was money and finance, and Madi? Madi had always felt a bit lost. She was a curious child in nature, quick to jump from one skill to the next. But, she never had that one thing she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She changed her major far too many times and even took a gap year to travel the world, before finally settling with Criminology. She figured she could apply for the CIA when she graduated or go into Forensic Analysis- do something that made a difference and hopefully allowed her to continue to travel. But, life had other plans.
Madi met Alek during her Senior Year. He was a magnanimous person who didn’t give her much of a choice not to be drawn to him. He was charming, funny, devious, and manipulative. He had a youthfulness about him that bordered on immaturity. At first, Mads wasn’t interested. She wasn’t swayed by his good looks or sweet words. But, In the midst of his flirty lines, they became friends. Alek made her laugh, made her feel special and made her feel worth while. She had misgivings about whether or not he was the one, but she enjoyed how much he coveted her and, as much as it pains her to admit, she had needed someone to rely on at the time. She had just developed the gift of telepathy. Her brain flooded with the overwhelming thoughts of others to the point where it was painful to even think. It quickly became easy, convenient even, for him to ostracize her from others and be her rock. So, when Alek proposed, it wasn’t even a question whether or not she’d say yes.
Link warned her about Alek. He had a premonition that her husband would cheat on her. But, Link saw all future possibilities and neither of them knew which ones would come true or at least that’s what she convinced herself of. Madi convinced herself that she loved the man she married and that she was going to make it work. The violence escalated about as quickly as their relationship did, but she stayed with him. Madi had once been fairly strong willed. She’d even shove bullies down if they tried to pick on one of her classmates. Madi had always defended the underdog, but when it came to defending herself, she fell short. His apologies were heartfelt and affective in getting them back to sanity and a semblance of a loving relationship. That was until his fists would collide against her skin once more or he’d pin her down against the bed and force himself upon her and the cycle would start all over again.
She should have gotten out a lot sooner than she did. But, the straw that broke the camal’s back wasn’t from any of the violence or abuse. It wasn’t even the time he inevitably caused her to miscarriage. Nope. The thing that did it was when she read his mind and discovered that the man who had always felt so much guilt and sympathy after everything he had done to her was cheating on her.
In an instant, it felt like a switch had flipped. She packed up as much as she could into one bag, while he was at work, and hopped in a taxi and headed to the first bar she could find. That night she ended up falling in bed with a complete stranger. But, even though she didn’t know the woman laying beside her, she couldn’t help, but feel like whatever her life held for her would be better.
Madi rarely talks about what happened with her failed marriage, moving to Icaria where her brother has been living and working to discover the bright girl she used to be once more.

Preacher Review: Damsels
AKA “Cats screwing. At an airport. Under an ice cream truck.”
Week two, episode three and we’re stARTING OFF WITH EUGENE,
Now I’ll be frank. Despite my enthusiastic caps my feelings regarding Eugene are… ambivalent at best. Initially I got swept up into the general fandom feeling of, “What a poor baby protect him!!!” Then we (supposedly) learned about him shooting Traci and I lost 99% of that sympathy. I wrote a paper on that exact woobie fandom response that ended up killing my last 1%, and now I love Eugene like I love Snape: you’re a great character, but you’re an absolute asshole of a person.
Then this episode happened.
As far as we can tell based on Eugene’s cyclical hell (a common enough trope) he didn’t, in fact, shoot Traci himself. Rather he’s painted very much as the naive hero. After receiving a call from Traci saying that she “needs him,” Eugene races to her house on his bike, accompanied by superhero-esque music—clearly reflecting how he views himself in this moment. He finds her sobbing because her boyfriend cheated on her with a “5” and has decided to kill herself over it. Traci has Eugene read through her suicide note which contains such gems as starting it with both “To Whom it May Concern” and “Dear everybody,” making sure her room remains a shrine after her death (which, ironically, it does), her brothers still aren’t aloud inside, and there’s a list of all the other men she’s had sex with, just to make her boyfriend jealous. Despite all this, Eugene manages to talk her out of the act.
Until he kisses her. Poor Eugene receives a shocked “ew” in response and that act is what tips Traci over the edge. She shoots herself, only managing to survive through Eugene’s quick actions, and when her mother comes home and starts freaking out about the locked door, Eugene inside, Traci not answering… he panics and shoots himself next.
This is what a lot of fans assumed last season: that the story we heard around town wasn’t what really happened. Now this goes a long way towards ‘redeeming’ Eugene (if, of course, we take these memories at face value) considering that beyond a quick, unwanted kiss that he thought might be appreciated, he didn’t actually do anything wrong. If anything, Eugene actively worked to keep Traci alive. The superhero music fits him in this scene.
And that’s what bugs me.
See, there’s a difference between Preacher being offensive and Preacher being offensive. There’s a difference between over the top insanity/violence that doesn’t hurt anyone because it’s just insulting to everyone and changing the narrative in ways that actively push against “hot topic” social issues. To give another example, no one really cares if Jesse beats the shit out of people to an extreme degree because worrying about whether your local preacher is going to break your arm isn’t an everyday concern (to say nothing of the fact that Jesse often engages in violence for ‘good’ reasons—like protecting a child from abuse). On the other hand, it’s important that Jesse doesn’t respond to the club singer’s advances because husbands/boyfriends cheating is a huge problem in the U.S. So having Jesse looked bored as hell while she sings all sultry, turning away as she changes, and telling her to stop before she kisses him sends a particular message. He’s a bad dude without being ‘bad’ particular ways, ways that are more likely to have an impact on the average viewer. There’s a distinction.
Now how does this apply to Eugene? They changed his story from a depressed kid shooting himself to emulate a rock star to a “friendzoned” kid shooting a girl and then himself because he was rejected—and they should have stuck with that. Because that story right there is something our society is dealing with: the insane number of women who are harmed or killed because they won’t have sex with some creep. That’s the story that’s worth telling and ultimately sending Eugene to hell for. Traci represents real life victims. Or at least she did. Now she’s just a blonde stereotype who’s suicide is used as freaking man-pain for Eugene, even more than it was last season. I honestly really hate that and alongside the supposed deaths of DeBlanc and Fiore, I think it’s the most insulting thing that Preacher has done to date.
Anyway. Enough about Eugene.
The trio is on their way to New Orleans and Jesse is making them listen to “A Walk to the Peak” an untold number of times. I think that’s a great choice because to the untrained ear (aka mine) it honestly doesn’t sound… appealing. (Sorry, Jazz fans.) We of course know that Tulip’s anger comes from a fear about stepping back in her old hunting grounds, but to Jesse she’s just complaining for no real reason. Cue lots of tension.
We get a fantastic, party-hard introduction to New Orleans that emphasizes the crowds and neon lights—a sharp departure for the beige tones and deserted wide shots from season one. As the trio wanders into the first club they find and asks for god, receiving an iffy, “All three of you?” in response, I think to myself, “Oh wow. Oh no. What if this is the fucked up Dalmatian from the trailer?”
Guess what.
IT’S THE FUCKED UP DALMATION FROM THE TRAILER.
Called it.
Beyond just acting as another strange and shocking moment that we’ve come to expect of Preacher, this little detour also establishes how out of their depth the trio is now. No one would call them sheltered, by any means, but none of them have any idea what’s being implied until it’s staring them in the face. This is new, fucked up territory to them. As mentioned above, it’s a BIG world, and the trio have flung themselves into it full force.
We meet Dennis, the fast talking French “friend” of Cass’ who is (unwillingly?) acting as their host. 1. Does anyone have a translation for that fantastic rant? 2. If they were at one point buds, I love that they made Dennis on the older side. It serves as a great visual reminder that Cass is over a freaking century old. Of course his friends are going to be hitting their golden years. And 3. Good on Cass for calling out Tulip for the “idiot Irish sidekick” treatment. It’s also (hopefully) the writers calling themselves out. There’s a whole lot you can do with Cass beside making him the comic relief.
Jesse continues his quest alone—“A preacher looking for God, that’s a joke!”—and kicks a whole lot of ass as he does. We get a lovely little twist where the singer he courageously saves and hustles off to the airport is in fact an agent working for—
—THE GRAIL. THE GRAIL. THE GRAIL IS HERE I’M SO HAPPY AHHHH—
Ahem.
I mean working for the super secret organization that no one knows anything about yet.
Jesse may be following a false lead now (the mysterious man who knew god had left, washing up in the swamp), but I truly doubt it will distract him for long. Between the final scene with Victor finding Tulip and Jesse spotting a poster with his family’s symbol, there are much bigger fish to fry.
And we get our first good look at Starr. Yes. We are blessed, friends. VERY blessed.
Until next week <3
Other Minor Things Worth Noting
I do like Eugene’s Mary Poppins reference. It tells us that his belief in God has been with him for a long time. It’s not just a result of him needing something to turn to after this tragedy.
Also, did anyone else hear him say “Darn it” after Traci first shoots himself, this strange pause where he stands there looking bored instead of panicked?? I honestly didn’t quite catch that moment, but I’m wondering if it had something to do with the fact that this is not, in fact, a real memory but rather a punishment within hell. Idk.
I’m adding the strange chandelier hell thing to the list of technologies I’m discussing in some future paper. That thing was cool.
“You are now leaving Texas – Your loss dipshit”
Tulip’s description of a “sharp grabby” pain in her stomach is reminiscent of her “smoky hand brain thing” in the premier. She certainly has a way with words. What a dork.
Joe with his tattoos and facial hair + that sparkly butterfly shirt is now my definition of aesthetic.
Let’s talk about the passive aggressive lesbian lady who recognized Tulip by her “cute little backside.”
Eugene is in a cell next to Hitler. Don’t they deserve to be on different levels or something? I have issues with Eugene, but I’m just saying. And now that we see hell as this prison environment, how exactly did the people working there react to him. He just… showed up?? I really hope the show goes into all this.
“It’s the end of the world” – nice tie to “Till the end of the world.”
I like Tulip giving up $100 for $5. It shows her single minded, fuck it nature; touches on addiction, and harkens back to Traci. She the 100 who was thrown away for a 5.
The guy talking to Jesse in the club is George R.R. Martin. This is why he isn’t getting his writing done. Pass it on. Expose him.

Wedding Date Emergency Ch. 4
Wedding plans were coming together nicely. I had my dress picked out, Wanda and Natasha were my bridesmaids, the venue – the beach, the Outer Banks to be specific – finalized. Bucky had got a tuxedo and everything else was planned with the help from Tony. The food and reception were to be held in the massive house we had rented for a few days, which came with a huge recreational room for dancing and hanging out with our friends, our family.
It appeared to be coming full circle, from the wedding date where we became official to now and I couldn’t be happier. Though, I had a secret to share with Bucky, but I wanted to wait until we were alone together to share the news. We had only been dating for a year, engaged for a month; it felt right, like we were meant to be, even if it meant having trials of our own. We didn’t really argue much, except the fateful night when I thought he’d been avoiding me and mistaken it for Bucky not loving me anymore. All he had wanted to do was propose, but he didn’t want to reveal the secret until the perfect moment.
I was ready to spend the rest of my life with, create a family of our very own, though I wasn’t sure if he even wanted children. I was nervous, but I didn’t doubt our love. I knew in my heart that we were meant to find each other, to be together until our dying breath. I was ready to be surrounded by our version of family, among friends to celebrate this day with us. If Bucky was nervous, he didn’t show it, spending more time with me as it got closer to our wedding day. I guessed he wanted to have enough of my love before having to disappear the night before the wedding. Traditional, I know, but it’s what we wanted.
He did, however, leave for a little while one day allowing me to have some fun with Wanda and Natasha, inviting the newcomer – Carol Danvers – along for the ride. I also invited her to the wedding because she was friendly and knew how to have a good time, especially when it came to parties, though she wasn’t part of the main entourage. I didn’t know her well enough to consider her to be a bridesmaid; I did enjoy her company though.
“I can’t believe you got together at a wedding and now are coming full circle to get married. You’re even getting married at a beach. Must be some love story,” she said. We were hanging out in the compound talking, enjoying the time together.
“Oh, believe me, it is. I think the award for cutest couple goes to them. Though I think, Wanda and Vision could be their competition. I won a bet regarding those two. Emma and Bucky are meant to be, trust me,” Natasha said, winking at me.
“They have really good chemistry. I’m only surprised they didn’t get together earlier than they did. Though, I sometimes wondered if she really liked Steve. The three of them make a good trio,” Wanda interjected.
“Believe me, it was always Bucky. He’s irresistible to me and I’d rather not be without him. He’s my whole world,” I said.
“Where did he go anyway? He’s been out for a while,” Wanda said.
“He wouldn’t tell me. Said something about having errands to do. Maybe he’s taking care of more wedding things,” I answered. At the same moment I stopped talking, the elevator doors chimed and captured our attention. They opened, Bucky inside them. He stepped out looking devilishly handsome. My jaw opened at the sight of him walking towards us. He’d gotten a haircut and shaved making him sexier than he already was. Heat and wetness pooled at my center as his bright blue eyes met mine as he approached. Bucky leaned down to capture my lips in a sweet and delicate kiss.
“Do you like it? I thought it was time for something new,” he greeted me, pulling away from the kiss.
“Yeah, I do. You look hot. Not…that you didn’t before, but damn, it’s made you hotter. It’s like the haircut amplified the hotness by ten. Look at this. You’re making me absolutely flustered,” I replied, heat rising onto my cheeks. He flashed a smile that did nothing to stifle the arousal in me.
“Good. Ladies, may I steal my fiancée for a few hours? I’d like to take her to dinner, maybe a movie afterwards,” he said.
“Sure. She’s all yours. But we’re stealing her tomorrow for the bachelorette party and then heading down to the beach. Enjoy tonight while it lasts because you won’t get to see her again until the wedding,” Natasha said. They dispersed and I got up, walking around the couch to be closer to him. He linked his arm through mine and we went downstairs to head out.
“Our last night before we get married. I’ll soon be able to call you my wife,” Bucky said at the restaurant; we went with sushi because it was our usual go to dinner when we went out.
“I know. A complete circle. I can’t wait for what our next adventure holds for us,” I said linking our fingers. I, of course, knew what was next. It was currently residing in my body. Not tonight. Just wait, I thought to myself.
“Maybe we’ll have a kid or two. Who knows?”
I arched an eyebrow at him. This was the first time he mentioned anything about children. Clearly, it was something he wanted. A family.
“A kid or two, hm?”
“Or none if…”
“I was thinking more along the lines of three,” I said, earning a wide grin from him.
“If you want three, then we can definitely do that. Whatever you want. Hell, if you want five, then we could have five,” he stated.
“Well then, Mr. Barnes. I guess we should start preparing for that as soon as possible,” I told him, leaning into kiss him. The possibility of having kids with him had crossed my mind a few times and I was thrilled he wanted them as much as I did. We finished up dinner and went to see a movie at the small theater a block away from the restaurant. During the movie, we shared a few kisses and I rested my head on his shoulder, enjoying his presence for the last night before the wedding. Little did we know, catastrophe would strike after we sealed the marriage.
Wedding Day
The bachelorette party was fun, the girls and I going out for a spa day and clubbing instead of to a strip club. We’d gone down to the beach ahead of the men, gorging ourselves on popcorn and movies, laughing the night away.
“Are you going to tell him after the reception? I don’t understand why you want to wait to tell him then. Why not now?” Wanda asked me. Of course, they knew I was expecting.
“I wanted to be alone with him. I want him to have fun and enjoy himself before we jump into any more responsibilities,” I said.
“I’m happy for you two. A family. One started before Pepper and Tony,” Natasha said.
“I hear she might be expecting too. Maybe we’ll have kids together,” I said.
The boys arrived the next day, sticking to one side of the house until it was time for the ceremony. My dress, white of course, was a princess ball gown with a medium sized pouf at the bottom, a little modernized. I had lace sleeves which had an intricate pattern sewn into the lace. My hair was pinned up in a plaited half chignon, the rest falling in waves over the dress.
Natasha and Wanda wore strapless, silver, knee-length dresses, their hair styled however they chose. Carol was in a purple, floor length dress that had a slit that came to rest mid-thigh. Since I had no one to walk me down the aisle, Tony agreed to do it, linking his arm through mine, once Natasha and Wanda had taken their places. The ceremonial music began, my cue to walk down the aisle. I had chosen Clair de Lune by Debussy, a favorite classical piece of mine and already tears were flowing.
We walked up the aisle made of sand up to where my true love stood, Bucky’s eyes sparkling with tears of his own, a huge smile etched onto his lips.
“I’m happy for you two. Have a nice life with each other,” Tony whispered handing me off to Bucky. Tony sat down next to Pepper and the ceremony began.
“Emma, I’ve longed for this moment ever since the first time I met you. You’re my best friend and more. I can’t wait to spend my entire life with you. My whole world wouldn’t be complete without you in it,” he said. Now it was my turn.
“Bucky, I’ve loved you always. Now I’ll love you forever. Our relationship began with a wedding date and now we are getting married to each other. It continues with an eternity spent with you. One I’ll cherish forever. You’re my best friend, my true love, my only love. I refuse to be parted from you for as long as I live,”
We exchanged rings and the priest went on asking if we take each other as husband and wife.
“I do,”
“I do,”
He pronounced us as man wife and then the words were spoken.
“You may kiss the bride,”
We leaned forward, our lips melding together and sealing our marriage. We broke apart and…
The sky darkened.
The wind picked up, ruffling our hair. We looked at each other, at our friends.
The temperature dropped, chilling us to the bone.
“Emma?” Bucky questioned, turning his attention back to me. I looked at him, eyes widening at the scene in front of me. He was fading, dusting to my horror.
“Bucky?” I asked as he faded completely. Gasps echoed around me; Steve Natasha, Tony looked on as our friends started fading as well.
“What’s happening? What did we miss?” I asked, tears filling my eyes, a sickening feeling my gut that wasn’t the morning sickness.
“Thanos,” someone said; Stephen Strange said as he too faded to nothing. My chest constricted. I fell to my knees, the sobs starting to come.
“Emma! Hey, try to breathe,” Steve’s voice said.
“I can’t. He’s gone. Bucky’s gone. I don’t understand. Why didn’t we see this coming?” I said. This couldn’t be happening. We were alone. Nausea built up and I released the vomit onto the sand. The fear settled in the sadness. We had prepared. Bucky and me. It hadn’t been nerves. I had known. I had planned on telling him in the bedroom. All the talk of children. I’d known for two weeks. Why didn’t I tell him sooner? We were…pregnant.

The D.C. Threesome Pt. 1
By: Shawnice Renee
Life in D.C. is horribly so far and I can’t stand it. For this to be home of the White House there sure are a lot of homeless people. My first couple of months here I was staying in 24 hour shelters. I had trouble looking for jobs so I did what any desperate woman would. I started stripping. It’s been about what…three weeks since I’ve been working at club Red Velvet. To be quite frank I hate it. The girls are brutal with no morals and as always, the owner’s a sleaze ball.
The money is cool but I can’t work a pole for shit. So, I just do the best booty dances around the pole that’ll get me the most tips. Sometimes before work I sit at this bar close to the club to chat with the bartender Eddie. He’s hella cool and takes pride in his Irish heritage. He gives me the scoop on what’s going on around town, even at my job. I try not to get too drunk, only just to calm my nerves before work.
Drinking my usual rum and coke. I noticed this man, black, in his late forties. He couldn’t stop staring at me. I figured he recognized me from the club. Not too long after Eddie approached me saying the same thing.
“Hey Camille, I think you have an admirer on your hands.” Said Eddie while drying shot glasses
“Yeah I see. Well if he follows me out the bar you know the routine.” I responded
“Already took a picture of him.”
A lot of dancers come in here for a drink or “other business”. To prevent us from getting hurt there are cameras everywhere and Eddie can zoom in on any suspicious customers and still-shot them from the camera. The staring admirer decided to sit next to me at the bar. I’ll admit for a man his age he looks young and handsome.
“I know that you’re probably wondering why is this stalkerish looking guy approaching me? But you are just too sexy to pass up a chance.” The guy charmingly stated
I’ll admit along with his good looks he has a way with words.
“Thank you for the compliment. Do you have a name?” I asked, extending my offer for a handshake. He accepted my handshake and replied, “Allan but my friends call me Al.”
“Are you considering me a friend already Al?”
“Well that depends if you give the ok to exchange numbers.”
I was embarrassed at my phone considering it wasn’t up to date. I offered my number instead and told him I had to head to work. With great concern, he stopped me.
“Hey, you never told me your name!”
I quickly responded with my stripper name, “It’s Sandy!”
The club was pretty packed for a Wednesday night. I wasn’t complaining all that meant for me was more money. Finishing up my set, I started to make my rounds for lap dances. I noticed a familiar face make eye contact with me. “Sandy!?” He said trying to find his way closer. That’s when I recognized the familiar face.
“Allan? I mean Al?” I said.
It was the middle-aged guy from the bar. It was only a matter of time I would see him here. Just figured it would be at least a week from now that’s all. Pushing through the crowd he was heading closer and closer to me. I wasn’t sure whether I should run and purposely get mixed up in the crowd. Or just wave back screaming, “Here I am!” while my bare D-cups titties were shaking uncontrollably. Instead I just stood there. I stood there with the DUMBEST smile on my face. Unbelievable.
“Hey sooo this was where you were running off too?” Al asked.
“Yeah this was where I was running off to…up the block and around the corner.” I sarcastically replied. By the way did I mention that I am the Queen of sarcasm when I’m nervous? Al laughed it off and continued his conversation.
“Why didn’t you tell me you’re a stripper?”
“Does it bother you?” I asked as I twirled my body around for display.
“No not at all! I’m saying you could’ve given a brother the heads up.”
“Well any woman who meets a guy at random won’t automatically let you know, Hey I’m a stripping whore by the way! Besides we just met. Like four hours ago just met. TMI Al, TMI.”
“Ok…” Said Al as he began to scan my body up and down, “…In your case it could’ve been appropriate enough for you to disclose this interesting piece of information. Especially since this is both our second meeting in only one night.”
“What in the hell were the odds something like this would happen?”
We both busted out into laughter, then suddenly a woman an older woman appearing to be around 40 plus walked over to us. Drenched in beautiful milk chocolate skin she had her hair pulled back in a sleek bun. You could tell this woman didn’t miss a day of squats by how thick her bottom was. She was one of those black women with chinky eyes but wasn’t quite Asian.
“I could use a good laugh. Is it alright if ya’ll let me in on the joke?” The woman interrupted.
Then without hesitation Al responded. “Oh, baby let me introduce ya’ll really quick”
I kind of gotten startled when I heard him call her baby. Thinking to myself this could go really well or really horrible.
“Baby?” Al went on, “This is Sandy, the girl- “
“I remember her from earlier” She said as a matter of factly.
“From earlier?” I chimed in. This was starting to get weirder by the moment.
Then she began to explain, “Yes from earlier. At the bar? I was there too, watching the both of you.”
Before I could get another word out, Al dominated the conversation, “This is what I’ve been trying to get to. Sandy? This is my wife Camille. Baby? You remember Sandy as you said earlier.”
As we greeted one another with proper hellos, I had to stay in character. I found it interesting we shared the same name. Making this less awkward then it had to be I put my bikini top back on and guided them to a table to talk.
“Ok for real ya’ll what’s going on cuz I gotta get back to my money soon.” I was ready to get straight to the point.
“Hmmm she’s about business. I like her.” Camille stated. Once again Al decided to take the floor and explain what’s going on.
“First and foremost, my wife and I have been together for over twenty years and we love each other dearly. Sometimes we like to share each other with other women. When we first saw you walk in the bar, my wife and I agreed you’re amongst the most attractive and intriguing. Even in all this stripper get up there’s still something innocent about you.”
Al must’ve gazed a little too deep into my eyes because Camille quickly cleared her throat in a gesture to wake Al up from his wet dream. That’s when she began to speak.
“Sandy you’ll have to excuse my slick talking husband. He has a smooth way with words. We’re very curious to know if you’d like to join us in a threesome? We’ll pay!” Camille bribed as she waved her Burberry wallet around.
“Look I know there’s a couple of girls who do those things but I ain’t one of them.” I said trying to sound discreet through the loud music.
“Oh, sweetheart it’s just some adult fun. You have some fun with us and we’ll pay you as an incentive.”
I wasn’t expecting something like this. I mean we get propositioned all the time but like this? The stripping life is…interesting. I’ll dance for money and I’m barely doing that but to fuck for money? I don’t know.
“800…” Camille offered. I shook my head no as I attempted to make an exit. She then called out another number. “…1500 and that’s my final offer.”
Now I could use the money. That could be money down for an apartment. I really want to leave that shelter and find a place of my own. So deep in my thought I didn’t realize Al was talking to me.
“If it’s any consolation we’ll make sure you’re safe and comfortable the whole time.” He reassured.
“Ok” I blurted, loudly and ashamed so I didn’t have to repeat it. My heart is pounding a million beats and my throat is feeling all knotty. I can’t believe I said yes to sex for pay. Eww Camille! You’ve only been working here for a month, congrats you’re officially a hoe! Then Big Camille, I began to call her, gave me the run down on what they expect. More so what she expects.
“Ok we’ve already exchanged numbers. I’ll assume you aren’t one of those that moves fast so we’ll pick another night to get together. If you take this 1500 we are paying you to engage in “our fun”. Meaning whatever my husband and I say goes. If certain things bother you we won’t force you to engage in it. For the night you’re with us, you’ll be our sexual play toy. Is that ok?”
All I could do was shake my head yes like a little girl. I believe I turned them on even more. Especially Al with his seductive stare. I reminded them I had to get back to work when Big Camille reminded me of one more thing.
“Oh Sandy? Just to let you know, outside this trio my husband is off limits.” She warned.
I quickly shook my head yes and went about my business. I was second guessing myself. Was that really a smart thing to do? Maybe they won’t call. Hopefully they get too drunk and forget they even met me. Shit though! They seemed pretty serious. Fuck!
