made a thing that kinda applies to @letsdrawcastiel's monthly prompt of winter cas I suppose since those are Christmas cookies right there. this is a continuation of another art piece thingy I made a little while back

the epic saga continues. Dean and Cas somehow managed to actually make the cookies, but never got around to decorating them for...important reasons and as usual, we shall now all bow our heads in prayer for Samuel Winchester and this miserable existence he calls life

(poor poor Sam, like he's not the one who hung up the mistletoe and I can still never spell that word right on the first try ghbgiy)

Cas thinks Dean is beautiful. Period. Like he is just fascinated by humans and he likes his human body and yes he’s an angel but he’s also so much more and he’s experienced so much more and he loves Dean and he inherently thinks Dean is hot. He thinks humans in general are hot.

Michael thinks Adam is an ugly little creature but he loves him anyway. Like they’re different species and he likes being an angel and humans are confusing and weird and kind of gross and he’s never really gotten the appeal -but he likes Adam anyway :) Adam is an acquired taste and Michael eventually thinks he’s attractive and desirable too but every other human is just as ugly as they’ve ever been

I feel like ao3 needs a specific “major character death” tag for supernatural that tells me if they’re gonna come back or stay dead because death in supernatural is kind of a non permanent issue. Like, I never know if I’m coming in on another Tuesday for the Winchesters or if this is the end when I see that tag.

me: no, that's in season 15 (i had literally just recapped all of s15 for him in the commercial break bc he wanted to know how it ends / if they ever kill god. he does not like chuck btw but thinks amara is "cool")

when a terf gets on your post. that’s like getting fruit flies in your house. you don’t try to kill every fruit fly (aka argue) that’s too much energy and it’ll just demoralize you. instead you just gotta throw out whatever is attracting them (aka delete the post) and they’ll usually go away after a day or so

when supernatural gets on your post tho. that’s like going to a picnic and being shocked there are ants trying to get a bite of your lunch. yes, annoying perhaps. but you took food and you went outside with it. that’s where the ants live. what did you expect them to do. you’re on their property. let ‘em have a little treat

which books used to be destiel fics?

hi there! there's a lot! Some I know about, like this list *which was posted in 2013* so obviously there are many more now.

There's also a number of writers who have written destiel fic and then gone on to successful traditional publishing careers (or who already had successful publishing careers and also wrote some destiel fic). I'm not sure how many of them would like to be publicly included on a list like this, though... but if you ask me off anon i will be happy to rec some of those authors and their published works (and... i do actually rec their works, in my "you should be reading" tag when they cross my tumblr dash, so that might be a good place to start).

if any destiel authors would like to rec their traditionally published works, they can reply here too! I'd just like to make sure authors are comfortable being listed like that before taking that liberty.

this sorta fits @letsdrawcastiel's winter cas prompt I think. Dean and Cas are making Christmas cookies and with any luck, they'll stop looking at each other long enough to actually have them ready by Christmas

(that's what we call wishful thinking chat, as I'm sure poor Sam can attest to)

vaguely inspired by this old thing I made somehow nearly an entire year ago and yeah sorry about the lack of color, the Bunker is a monochromatic wasteland and I was too lazy to add in the stove and counters and table + chairs and stuff in the background. seriously this needs color so much it hurts but alas, for the sake of set integrity and a pinch of laziness, I will resist (and maybe make up for it by creating the most nightmarishly colorful piece ever as a follow-up. any suggestions/art requests?)
