cook your favorite rice. in a pan, fry sliced onion and orange bell pepper in a generous amount of olive oil with a small pat of butter on medium heat. season with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. once soft, reduce heat and push the veg to one side of the pan. crack an egg, season with salt and pepper, and cook to your preference. serve veg and egg over your rice. and maybe then you’ll calm down

Well Met By Moonlight Part 7
Hello! It was a bit of a rough morning for me with the hate I got earlier. Maybe I could have worded it nicer, but I'm tired of gatekeepers that think everything ever has to be canon inspired, but if you have a difference of opinion about what is canon then them you're delusional.
And then my son nearly fainted at his school singing program this afternoon. He got sent home yesterday due to being over emotional at school (couldn't stop crying), but we thought it was just a bad mental health day. Apparently not.
So it was a little hard wanting to post today, even though I have a backlog of 15 chapters across 5 stories because I was feeling overly emotional.
So I hope you enjoy a little bit of sexy times for our boys. I told you I'd bring Eddie back sooner, rather than later.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6
18+ Under the Cut
****
Eddie was in his room trying to nail down the bridge on a song he was writing when he heard a small scratching noise at the front door. He set his guitar aside and listened closely.
There it was again.
He wasn’t expecting anyone today. He got up warily and was at the door in an instant. He looked through the peephole and huffed out a laugh.
He opened the door and leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed.
“You barely left me last night and you’re already at my door step again?” he teased.
There was that wolfie laugh Eddie adored so much.
“Come on in before the twins next door think you’re a doggy to play with and chase you all over the trailer park.”
Steve laughed again and Eddie shook his head, moving to the side to let his boyfriend in.
Steve shifted back to human and wrapped his arms around Eddie’s neck loosely. “Hey baby.”
Eddie purred. “Hey, sweetheart.”
Even though he knew that Steve being naked wasn’t a sexual thing, it didn’t stop him from grabbing that beautiful bare ass anyway.
He dived into Steve’s lips kissing and licking his way into that perfect mouth.
Steve’s arms tightened around Eddie’s neck, grinding against the hard planes his body. He wrapped his legs around Eddie’s waist and let him carry him into the bedroom.
He kicked the door closed and proceeded to have his wicked way with him.
Once they had come several times and had finally wore themselves out, Eddie rolled over on his back and huffed out a laugh.
“I know you didn’t just come over to fuck,” he said, throwing his arm over his eyes, “so what’s the real reason for the visit?”
Steve laughed. “You are very distracting, you know?”
Eddie grinned. “It’s that ass, baby. I just can’t get enough.”
“That’s fair,” Steve said. He rolled over on his side to look at him. “You know how it was Josh’s first day with the pack?”
Eddie immediately straightened up and looked down at Steve. “Yeah? How did that go?”
“He’s a good kid and I don’t think we’ll have any problem with him,” Steve hummed.
“But...” Eddie asked, tilting his head forward.
Steve sat up and wrapped one arm around his knees. “When you were growing up did you have any days where the teachers would talk about supernatural kind? But not like on days the supernatural kids would be there?”
Eddie sat up too and frowned. He thought hard. “You know, now that you mention it, there were days like that. It was straight up bullshit, so I never really paid attention...” His eyes went wide. “Shit you don’t think that’s why Jason and them went apeshit, do you? The shit they were learning about on moon days?”
Steve bit his lip. “I don’t know. It worries me that they’re getting anything like that at all.”
Eddie nodded. “I don’t know of anyone who’s not supernatural, not anymore.”
Steve lifted his head. “Yes you do. The drummer of your band, what was it called, Carrion Coffin or something?”
“Corroded Coffin,” Eddie gently corrected.
“That’s the one,” Steve said, snapping his fingers. “I know Jeff is a vampire like you and Brian is some other supernatural being...”
“Siren,” Eddie said, rubbing his chin. “I’ve always suspected Gareth might be a supe of some sort, but I could never confirm it.”
“But if he’s still going to school,” Steve said hopefully, “and not allowed to take moon days off due to whatever kind of supe he is, then he might be able to do some recon for us.”
Eddie nodded. “I have band practice tomorrow, I’ll ask. Maybe Brian remembers something, too.”
Steve sagged in relief. “Thanks sweetheart. I appreciate it. If the schools are indoctrinating kids against supes that might explain the rise in hunters over the last few decades.”
“Leading to whatever the hell it was that happened to you...” Eddie said thoughtfully.
“Yeah, because why a cross?” Steve said. “Crosses are vampire lore, not werewolf.”
“Yeah,” Eddie agreed. “I’ll talk to Wayne about it when he gets home. Maybe he can get more out of Patrick and Jason tomorrow, too.”
“Thanks, Eds,” Steve murmured. “That’s weight off my mind.”
Eddie grinned. “Now where were we?”
Steve laughed and then tackled his boyfriend back to his bed. He straddled Eddie’s waist. “You are insatiable, you know that?”
Eddie snapped his jaws at Steve playfully. “You love it.”
Steve moved up enough so that Eddie’s cock caught on Steve’s taint, causing Eddie to gasp.
“Oh, so that how you want to play it, pretty boy,” he growled, slowly pushing Steve backwards onto his cock until Steve bottomed out.
“Fuck, baby,” Steve whined. “I love the way you fill me.”
Eddie lifted him up and then snapped him back down his cock. “I love the way you look when you’re stuffed with my dick, sweetheart. I love the whimpering mess you become when I fuck you so hard. But you’re on top this time, so show me what you’ve got.”
Steve nodded. “Yeah. I can do that.”
He started off slow, allowing the drag of Eddie’s cock to come almost all the way out before slamming back down onto his hips.
“Like that, Stevie,” Eddie said his voice husky with desire. “Just. Like. That.”
Steve nodded. He kept up the slow pace, grinding up and down, touching his throat, his chest, his stomach, his thighs, everywhere but his cock.
“Fuck, baby,” Eddie cooed. “You putting on a show for me?”
Steve nodded, biting down on his lip. He ran his fingers through his hair and then back down his body.
Eddie was about to explode from the sight alone. His last ounce of control snapped and he flipped them over.
Steve let out a gasp of surprise. “Too much for you, rockstar?”
“Not even close to being enough, sweet cheeks,” he growled and then starting railing him hard and fast.
Soon Steve was spilling on his belly as he watched Eddie chase his own release.
Moments later Eddie was stock still as he filled Steve, his eyelashes fluttered shut and his breath came out in a shuddering sigh.
They were drenched in sweat, Steve was covered in come, and they both panted for breath.
Eddie slipped out and flopped on the bed next to Steve. “Fuck, I think you’ve ruined me for anyone else.”
Steve giggled. “Supernatural sex tends to be better because we have better stamina, strength, and flexibility then humans do.”
Eddie rolled on his side and propped himself up on his elbow. “Despite what this town thinks I was no blushing virgin coming into this relationship, babe. I’ve been with human, siren, and werewolf–” Steve opened his mouth to ask but Eddie held up his hand, “no one you know, I promise. This is at a supernatural bar in Indy. But I have never had sex like when I’m with you. It makes all the noise in my head fade to the background.”
Steve smiled. “I’m glad. And of course I’m completely gone on you, too, you know. I don’t it’s the type of supe you are that makes being with you so easy, the sex so good. It’s you.”
Eddie smiled dopeyly at Steve as he watched his boyfriend get up and head for the showers.
He cleaned up the bed and got dressed again. He was back working on the bridge he was working on before Steve came around, but this time with added clarity.
“Sounding good, Eds,” Steve said when he came back in.
Eddie grinned up at him. “Maybe I should have sex with you every time I’m stumped writing, I mean it about the clearing my head.”
Steve leaned down and gave him a kiss. “I wouldn’t mind.”
Eddie giggled. “Go on, pretty alpha boy. Your pack awaits.”
Steve laughed, skipping away lightly.
He opened the door and then transformed, leaping down the stairs. He tore down the road and Eddie just shook his head fondly as he shut the door behind his boyfriend.
*
Steve loved his wolf form. It was two-toned unlike most of his pack. The dark brown of his upper pelt and honey color of his muzzle, legs, and belly made him look more like an oversized friendly dog most of the time.
It made it easier to walk the streets of Hawkins without people batting an eye at him.
There were those that recognized him on sight, of course. But they never called him by his name, they always called out, “Sandy!”
Which always made him laugh.
“Hey, Sandy!” Mr Thacher called from his tire shop as Steve loped by.
Steve barked his hello and continued on way.
A little boy spotted him and Steve patiently sat still as he buried his face into Steve’s fur until his dad tugged on his hand to make him come with.
“Not now, Charlie,” his admonished. “You have a dentist appointment.”
Charlie sighed and allowed himself to be led away with a mournful, “Bye puppy.”
He finally got to the mayor’s office and grabbed the robe waiting by the door. He went into the bathroom and came out with the robe wrapped around his naked form.
Lucy, Major Roberts’s secretary, shook her head. “It’s damn shame that Mayor Roberts put that robe there for you.”
Steve laughed. “You just like looking at my ass.”
She pretended to be affronted. “Darling, it’s your thighs!”
Steve laughed again. “Is he able to see me right now?”
She nodded. “I’ll buzz you in.”
“Mr Harrington!” Mayor Roberts greeted, standing up to shake his hand. “What an unexpected pleasure, how can I be of service?”
Steve sat down and told him everything Josh had told him and his discussion with Eddie about the possibility of anti-supernatural rhetoric being taught in the schools.
Mayor Roberts nodded. “I was aware there was extra-curricular subjects being taught on moon days, as the teachers can’t teach their subject to only half their class. But I don’t think I ever thought about what was being taught.”
Steve nodded. “If we can find the source here in Hawkins maybe we can get it changed on a national level.”
“Thereby stopping the rise of hunters in the country,” Mayor Roberts agreed. “I’ll look into it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.”
Steve nodded again. “Of course. Thank you for your time.”
They shook hands and Steve was slipping through the door as wolf, the robe carefully carried in his jaw.
Lucy laughed. “Sneak!” she teased.
Steve put the robe back on the hook and looked at her innocently.
Mayor Roberts laughed. “He got you good there, Lucy.”
She shook her head. “Yeah, yeah.”
And with that Steve slipped out of the mayor’s office and back out onto the street.
He shook himself off and the broke into a run. He had a lot to think about but first he had one more stop to make.

When The Hero gets Saved
(or, when Marinette saves Chat Noir during an akuma attack and he forgets how to function in front of her when in his human form.)
Marinette gazed at her bare wall in awe.
Tikki swirled around her head, a collection of photographs and polaroid's held tightly in her grasp. “Have you really moved on, Marinette?” A picture of blonde hair with green eyes nearly fell from the kwamis grasp, but Marinette grabbed the photo and stared at it with a sad smile.
“Of course not, Tikki. But I need to. And this is the first step. Besides, I think that Luka deserves an actual chance.”
A soft grin graced Marinette’s lips at the thought of the blue-haired boy. After he held her in his arms during her breakdown last week, she has begun to see him in a new light. Although it seemed he understood her maybe a little too well, she was not too concerned with it. He was there for her. He listened to her cry about her problems while not knowing the half of it, and yet he was still there for her. He needed no explanation. He was perfectly okay to simply hold her.
Adrien couldn’t do that for her. Granted, she was sure if he had been there he would have been there for her as well, Luka’s presence offered her comfort that Adrien could not. This is especially relevant considering Adrien was part of the reason she was so upset. After this, Marinette and Luka began to spend more time together, and she decided that it was time to move on from the blonde boy.
“If this is what you want, then I am happy for you, Marinette.” The kwami nuzzled into her shoulder and smiled. Marinette grinned in response and began to walk to the door. As she was about to walk outside, a car was hurled just a few feet before her. Glancing into the distance, a giant creature was terrorizing the city. An akuma, surely.
Marinette turned to the side. “Tikki, sp- ah!” Before she could finish her sentence, a force grabbed her side and lifted her into the air, and the kwami hid inside her purse.
“Marinette! It isn’t safe out here. There’s been an akuma attack, you need to hide.” Chat Noir.
Internally, Marinette groaned. Yeah, and we would be able to end this if you left me alone long enough to transform. However, she knows Chat. He won’t let her out of his sight.
Once they reached the top of a particularly tall building, the cat set Marinette down. He turned to her and offered her a cheeky grin. “Don’t fear, Princess, my lady will be here soon enough and this will all be over.” She sent him a half-hearted smile before turning around and rolling her eyes.
Before she could even begin to think of a plan of how to escape Chat, the ground beneath them rumbled. She spun around to face the giant rock-structured akuma. Mud crusted its ridges and dark eyes glared upon them.
“Why, don’t you look paw-sitively stunning on this gorgeous day? Do you happen to have a skincare routine I could follow?” Chat joked before leaping and narrowly missing being pounded into the dirt by the giant rocky fist. Each step or hit caused the ground to crumble in part.
Chat continued to fight the akuma, however he kept glancing over at Marinette or offering cocky comments, making it impossible for her to escape to transform. All that she could do is hope to help in her human form.
After a few moments of observing the fight, Marinette realized that the creature seemed to avoid the puddles of water that scattered the ground. Out of curiosity, the next time they were near her, she splashed a bit of the water onto the akuma. He angrily hissed, and shrank a small amount. Marinette grinned. Of course.
“Hey, kitty, I’ve got a plan!” Chat glanced over with a patronizing smile. “That’s cute, Princess, but I really think we should just wait for Ladybug to arrive.” She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “Just trust me, alright?”
Chat hesitated for a moment, before nodding and gesturing for her to proceed.
“I need you to lead him downstairs, after me.” He frowned. “Aren’t you going to be in danger if he’s following you?” Marinette smiled. “Thanks for the concern, kitty, but I’ll be fine. Trust me.” He sighed. Chat did not like this plan, but he obliged. A few moments after Marinette ran downstairs, Chat ran down after her, making sure the creature followed him.
Chat continued to fight the akuma in the bottom floor, however he looked around, searching for Marinette. After a few seconds, a flower pot cracked on the creature’s head. It halted and turned toward the source in anger.
“Hey, hard-head! I think you need a bath.” The akuma ran after her, stomping as it did so. Chat panicked and began chasing it, before he realized her plan. As he drew closer, Marinette turned the showerhead and turned it on, coating the rock-figure until it shrunk the size of a container of nail-polish. As it shrunk, the bracelet on its wrist fell on the ground beside Marinette. She quickly placed a cup and heavy object over the akuma, before grabbing hold of the bracelet.
She smiled before glancing up, her eyes widening in panic. “Chat!”
Before he had time to react, she lunged into him, the roof crumbling where he had just been standing. Chat glanced at the area, chuckling softly, preparing to make a joke as he turned to face his heroine, before his breath caught in his throat as he realized their position.
Marinette leaned over him, her hands on either side of his head, and she sat on his lap as he lay flat on the ground. His eyes widened and he gulped, suddenly feeling heat rush to his cheeks.
Marinette, oblivious to their predicament, smirked at the boy before playfully hitting his bell. “You gotta be more careful next time, Chaton.” She stood, offering her hand.
The ringing of the bell hummed in the atmospheric silence for a few moments before Chat blinked and grabbed her hand. “Oh-uh- right. Thanks, Mari.”
She smiled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. “Not a problem. Why don’t you go make sure no civilians are stuck in the remains of the fight, and I will wait here with the bracelet for Ladybug to arrive and de-evilize the akuma?”
Chat gazed at her, barely hearing a word she said.
“Chat?” Her sweet voice broke him out of his trance.
“Oh- right! Check on the citizens. See you later, Princess!” He quickly leapt away before he could embarrass himself more, although all he could think about is how he never realized how beautiful her dark hair is and how bright her eyes were.
-*-*-*-
School the next day was unpredictable.
Marinette walked through the classroom door with Alya, chatting about their plans to help Mari move on from Adrien. As they sat down, focused on their own conversation, the blonde-haired boy entered the room. He waved at Nino with a grin, before he glanced up and his smile faltered when he noticed Marinette. Oblivious to his own actions and the bag on the ground in front of him, he tripped and flopped face-first onto the floor.
The class went silent at this, before a few of them laughed and stared at him, confused by the sudden clumsiness of the usually put-together boy.
“Adrien! Are you okay?”
Glancing up from his position on the dirty floor, Adrien nearly groaned out loud. Before him stood Marinette, offering him a hand in the same way she had the day before.
He offered a tight grin before grabbing her hand. “Thanks, Pr- er, Marinette.” She smiled, confusion passing her features for a moment before she brushed it off and sat back down.
Adrien sat down and immediately put his face in his hands and letting out an irritated sigh.
Nino laughed beside him. “Dude, are you alright?”
Adrien nodded, muttering something about how he didn’t get enough sleep last night, but all he could think about was the pink lip-gloss on Marinette’s lips and how she smelled of flowers and vanilla.
-*-*-*-
The next day, Adrien was prepared.
He had spent the entire night preparing himself, and talking sense into himself.
Marinette is your good friend. She did a good thing by saving Chat Noir. She is just a girl who you have known for years.
It seemed more he was trying to convince himself rather than anyone else.
Ignoring Plagg’s mocking, Adrien arrived to school before anyone else had gotten to class, making sure he would avoid the embarrassment of falling yet again.
However, in all of Adrien’s pre-emptive planning, he did not plan for what he would do when Marinette arrived to school with her hair down.
As she entered the class, she offered a smile to the teacher before beginning to walk past him to her seat.
He almost hoped she would walk straight past him and ignore his presence. Of course, however, she is Marinette, so she did not.
“Hey, Adrien! Good morning!”
The boy blinked up at her, just staring at her for a few moments. Marinette glanced behind her in confusion, before coughing awkwardly.
Adrien shook his head. “Oh! uh, good! Yeah!”
Marinette smiled softly, eyebrows still furrowed in confusion, before she proceeded to her seat. Adrien sighed and dropped his head onto his desk, ignoring Plagg’s snickers inside of his school bag.
As he sat there, thinking about how long her lashes are, and how sweet her voice sounds, he knew he was screwed.
Adrien would never be able to look at Marinette Dupain-Cheng the same ever again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope that you all enjoy and that this lives up to your expectations!
I’m considering making this a series or making more posts related to Ladybug, so please give your input!
This was entirely inspired by @princessamericachavez and her post about Marinette saving Chat Noir, as I had seen it on TikTok and everyone in the comments was looking for a fanfic inspired by the concept, so I made one! I hope you enjoyed and let me know what you think :)
A scenario where Tamaki's been trying to confess to his crush for literal MONTHS but just can't ever get it out. Since his voice doesn't work around reader he decides to write a letter, penning down his innermost passions and it ends up being REALLY long with flowery Helga Pataki-esque descriptions of his feelings. But he ends up EATING the paper to prevent reader from seeing it when yn almost sees it. Later that dayduring training, his quirk manifest forces him to say everything he wrote aloud.
[ Finally your girl posts something after forever. Sorry guys! Life has been a bit crazy, I got obsessed with a couple role play groups, and of course, school. But, I’ll try to be better with my blog. I hope you all enjoy this Tamaki piece, thank you for the request dear anon! I thought this idea was a very unique take on Tamaki’s quirk. ]
Tumblr media
There you go again. His eyes locked on your every move as you walked through the hallway, your friends by your side, and you were laughing and smiling. Making his heart accelerate and his cheeks flush as always. It was true, Tamaki Amajiki. One of the members that made up The Big Three, had fallen for you. Unfortunately, despite trying to confess to you countless times.
It did no good. Honestly, he didn’t know what he was thinking. He’d always be nervous when he approached you, cheeks red, and that stutter of his present. Even when he did finally manage to speak, he’d find his tongue felt like it was swollen, then he’d get more embarrassed and panic. Despite the fact, you would always ask him what’s wrong or if he needed help.
The fact is, he was nothing but a coward. He’d turn and run which didn’t help much with his confidence considering he knew that you probably thought he was some kind of a freak. But, he had to tell you how he felt. He couldn’t stand the idea of seeing you with someone else which might sound selfish. He knew it was selfish but, he didn’t care. He wanted you all to himself and for once, maybe he deserved what he wanted.
But, he didn’t know how to tell you. How could he reveal his feelings to you without looking silly or fearing rejection? There was only one person he thought of asking, “Well!” Nejire’s voice was as bright and cheery as ever as they sat outside a cafe. Nejire had insisted because they had good lattes and Tamaki was never one to argue.
She smiled as she reached over to place her hand over his, the warmth and comfort from that gentle touch put him at ease for the moment. But, still, he needed an answer on what to do and eagerly waited to hear what Nejire had to say. “If you ask me, nothing says I love you more than the words of a love letter!” Tamaki’s expression completely dropped, his eyes widened and his eyebrows furrowed.
“W-What?” he questioned, he could already feel his stomach twist. That nauseous feeling of butterflies beginning to bother him, his cheeks grew unusually hot and he shook his head. “I c-can’t d-do that!” he stuttered out as his free hand tightened around the styrofoam cup he held. Nejire looked at him with a cross expression.
“They don’t have to know who it’s from silly!” she half scolded, “Besides maybe it’ll help you sort out what you really want to say to them!” she suggested with a bright smile that made Tamaki groan in response. “I c-can’t! T-That’s so e-embarrassing and w-what if t-they find out the l-letter was f-from me!? W-What am I s-supposed to do?! W-What am I supposed t-to say?” he questioned and Nejire shook her head before slowly getting up from her seat.
“Well duh!” she said before reaching over to lightly knock on Tamaki’s head, something that caught his attention but also made him flinch. He leaned back with a present frown on his face, “D-Duh what?” he asked, growing a little scared as she leaned over. He didn’t exactly like that smile on her face. “Then you have nothing left to hide,” she concluded as she reached up to boop his nose which made him wiggle it in response.
He then looked down, nervous eyes shifting back and forth, “I...I d-don’t know,” he said which had Nejire sighing and she placed her hands on her hips. “Just start with the love letter and see where it goes from there, you may not believe it Amajiki, but you’re pretty brave when you’re determined,” she said before patting his shoulder. “Don’t forget that,” she said, smiling yet again before she walked away.
Leaving him sitting there alone, his body hunched over the table as a gentle breeze came to ruffle his hair. Should he try to write you a love letter? Sure it sounded easy, but what if he got nervous and ended up writing the wrong thing? Was there a right or wrong way to write something as personal as a love letter? Your feelings across paper? Well, he supposed it wouldn’t hurt to try.
So he purchased a notebook and pen and began to get to work, at first he found it rather difficult. His words were sloppy and lacking the meaningful nature he wanted them to. But, on occasion, this would change. Especially when he saw you in the hallway or in class, he couldn’t help but feel a rush of inspiration and would always write the words that screamed from his heart when he was near your presence.
He often rewrote the confessions he had, longing for them to be perfect. He was almost finished with what he believed to be the perfect love letter and though he was still unsure how he’d give it to you. He was currently sitting in the library, body hunched over the table as he neared the end of his letter. All that was left were those three big words, the words he was too shy to speak.
But, the ones that he longed to scream from the top of his lungs, the ones that could only be used to summarize how he felt about you. His pen continued to glide across the lined paper, prepared to write ‘I love you’ before he jumped. You had noticed Tamaki around and while you knew he was a member of The Big Three, you had never actually had a full conversation with him.
Though you had class together and on occasion, you got the chance to fight side by side with him. He was amazing and you admired him for the heroism he showed, it was almost silly to think he was the same shy boy you saw roaming through the halls. You had always wanted to try and become friends with him, given you knew from past experience he tended to stutter and honestly couldn’t hold up a conversation.
Still, you were determined to try. Of course, you hadn’t expected him to jump when you spotted him in the library and decided to walk over. You noticed he was writing something and couldn’t help but try and sneak a peek at it, looked pretty serious. You blinked before lowering your mouth to his adorable elf-like ear. “Hi Amajiki-san!” the cry that left his mouth ended up scaring you and without thinking.
You stumbled back and watched as his head turned, those precious indigo-colored eyes wide and fearful and his cheeks dusted over a faint red. “Y-Y/n!?” he exclaimed before pulling the notebook to his chest, fingers securely grasping it. Hiding the written evidence of his feelings for you, despite you having no knowledge of his feelings for you in the first place or how he was trying to convey them through written words.
You did, however, know he was hiding something and couldn’t help but smirk. “Hm?” you raised your hand, pointing a finger at the notebook. “What are you trying to hide there, Amajiki-san?” you questioned as you took a step closer, reaching out to grab his upper arm. You tugged on his sleeve and Tamaki let out a soft whine. “N-Nothing! I-It’s nothing!” he stuttered out, feeling his stomach twist into knots.
He hoped he wouldn’t get nauseous, you were so close. You were touching him! “Oh? If it’s nothing then why are you hiding it?” you questioned in a teasing manner as you took a firmer grip and yanked his arm away. “Show me, I’m curious! Is it a project? Essay?!” the questions left your mouth in an excited manner. “I-It’s not uh, h-hey!” you had reached over and snatched the notebook away.
“Oh boo, let me at least proofread it for you,” Tamaki’s stomach flipped upside down and his hand was clutching his chest, twisting the fabric of the signature red tie of his school uniform. He couldn't let you read it! He’d die! But there you were, holding his notebook with his dedicated words of love scribbled across it. “Now then,” you turned your attention to the notebook, about to read the first line just as the sound of a chair falling came.
You jumped and turned to look but before you could react you felt a strong hand around your wrist. “Amajiki-san!” you exclaimed, prepared to activate your quirk or at least find your way out of his grip. But then, another noise echoed through the air. Your attention shifted back to the notebook and your jaw dropped as you realized he had ripped out the single page you were trying to read.
“Amajiki!” you scolded again, “S-Sorry! B-But you c-can’t see t-this!” he said as he proceeded to crumble the paper into a ball. You looked at him bewildered as he then shoved said ball into his mouth. “Uh…” was the only sound that managed to come out of your mouth as you watched him chew and proceed to swallow the paper. You blinked, lowering the notebook.
Jaw hanging open in absolute awe at what you had just witnessed. Tamaki on the other hand had an itchy throat, and when the crumbled paper reached his stomach. He felt a small ache, which prompted him to place a hand over his stomach. His face was completely red, all the way to the pointy tips of his ears. “G-God, that w-was e-embarrassing u-uh…” he couldn’t even bear to look at you.
He did, however, reach out to snatch his notebook back. The action caused you to gasp and you took a step back, your mind still trying to process what had just occurred. Damn, was it that much of a secret he had to eat it? What sense did that make? Still, you watched as he took the notebook and put everything into his backpack before scurrying away. Strange.
You knew you’d see him in just a few moments, given you had class and hero training together. But, you weren’t entirely sure if you wanted to see him after he pulled such a strange stunt. “Uh...okay, bye then?” you said, clearly still confused despite the fact he was long gone. You placed your hands on your hips and sighed. “Well, wonder if I’ll see anything stranger than that today,” you shrugged and exited the library.
It was almost a nightmare trying to sit through class, much less pay attention to the lesson. It didn’t help that you sat near Tamaki either, but he seemed to give you the cold shoulder. Not so much as dare to take a glance at you, though you happened to notice his hand was over his stomach. Maybe he had a stomach ache, though after consuming a whole piece of paper splattered with ink.
It didn’t surprise you much, if at all. Still, you couldn’t help but wonder just what he had to hide. When afternoon came, you seemed to have forgotten about the strange incident as soon as you slipped on your hero attire. You grinned as you walked alongside your classmates to Ground Gamma, given you couldn’t help but glance over at Tamaki.
He was currently talking to Nejire, but you noticed his face was twisted in some form of discomfort. “Y/n...Y/n!!!” you snapped out of your thoughts before turning to face one of your classmates. “Huh? What?” it was a little shameful you had zoned out, but even so. The teachers had decided that instead of team exercises, you’d be facing each other one on one.
This disappointed you as you rather enjoyed working with your classmates to form tactical strategies and such, but it was important for heroes to learn how to work on their own as well. The who versus whom opponents were randomized as to assure fairness and the element of surprise, you were hoping you’d be one of the first students to show your skills in combat.
But, unfortunately, you weren’t and much like the other student heroes in training, you had to stand back and observe. Though you found yourself growing bored and decided to take a seat on the ground, pulling your knees up to your chest and sporting a dull expression. You glanced over at Tamaki once more, taking note that he was still holding his stomach and Nejire was patting his shoulder.
You assumed she was telling him he was fine. As the second pair of students finished their training exercise, you leaned back and gave a loud yawn which seemed to catch your teacher’s attention. “Y/n,” they said and you turned to look at them with a raised eyebrow, but answered nonetheless. “Yes?” you replied, “Since you seem so bored, I’ll give you a task. Next match, Suneater verse Y/n!” your eyes widened and you sported a dumbfounded expression.
“W-What?” you questioned and your teacher merely smirked at you, was that even legal? You knew your teachers were also pro heroes and as such, should be respected. But, sometimes you couldn’t help but question their teaching methods. Your classmates seemed rather surprised, whispering how lucky you were to be facing a member of The Big Three and how you’d more than likely get your ass kicked.
Tamaki didn’t seem to take the news very well either, in fact, his face twisted into what you could only describe as pure fear. “Uh, I d-don’t think-” he tried to protest, but the teacher cut him off quickly and ordered you two to start at opposite ends of the training ground. You looked to Tamaki and shrugged, “May the best student win?” once you had taken your position among the twisted landscape of metal piping.
You crouched down, going through strategies that could possibly give you an advantage. You wouldn’t let the fact he was a member of The Big Three bother you, even though this all boiled down to one thing. You had to try your best, with that in mind. You decided to lay low and take a running start, keeping your eyes and ears open for Tamaki.
Carefully avoiding those obnoxious pipes in your way before you heard a noise. It was just a small creek, but you knew better than to believe it was just Ground Gamma settling. You stopped briefly, legs bent and ready to make an escape if you needed to. You stared into the abyss of metal before suddenly a tentacle shot out toward you, but a quick dodge saved you from being captured and you took off.
Slithering between big and small pipes alike before you decide to ricochet between two of them, angling your body so you landed on top of a sturdy pipe. You quickly turned on your feet, glancing over the landscape once more. Your eyes searching for any sight or sign of Tamaki, you also had to be aware those tentacles of his could be trouble. With that idea, you quickly looked down.
Ensuring there was no sight of those powerful octopus arms, you then opted to travel above the pipes. Easily jumping from one to the next, your head turning back and forth despite the fact that wind was ruffling your hair and causing your bangs to sway in your face. But, it was quiet. Everything was so quiet which it shouldn’t be, Tamaki’s steps couldn’t be that silent, unless...he wasn’t on the ground.
Your eyes widened at the realization and from the corner of your eye, you saw a single brown feather. “Oh no,” you turned your head as a shadow cast over you. Instantly, your jaw dropped as you saw him. Tamaki, Suneater, the best of the best. Right above you, brown wings spread to their span. His right hand was morphed into long tentacles and his left shaped into a clamshell.
Before you could blink, those wings flapped and the next thing you recalled was a hard hit to your stomach. It threw you off balance and you fell a good few feet before reaching the ground. Pain surged through your person and a long groan escaped you. Every fiber of your being was screaming for you to get back up, but you were too slow. You heard Tamaki land behind you, but he said nothing as he approached you.
Which at the moment, was scary even though he was normally a quiet and reserved person. However, you yelped when you felt those tentacles proceed to wrap around you, binding your arms by your sides. Your quirk was useless without the movement of your hands and knowing that simple fact, you couldn’t help but clench your jaw. It seemed Tamaki had to add insult to injury as you felt the pressure of his enlarged chicken foot against your back.
“I think...y-you’re...done…” came his words, seems he was always a tad braver when he was Suneater which made sense. You turned your head as much as you could, sending a glare toward him. You were usually better than this, but to get bested this quickly. It only reminded you of how much further you had to go before you could truly call yourself a hero.
“Suneater…” you hissed out, flexing your arms as you attempted to get out of his grip. Tamaki however, felt his stomach twist again and his face once more showed discomfort. Maybe eating that letter was a bad idea. It certainly wasn’t settling in his stomach right, and his heart was racing at an unusual speed. But, he felt a strange sense of happiness course through his body as well.
“Y/n, I think you’re my love,” a gasp left his mouth and you felt those tentacles retract. You pressed your hand to the ground, now looking at Tamaki with a wide-eyed expression. “W-What?” you questioned, wondering if you heard him correctly. But, judging by the way he was holding his hands over his mouth and how red his face was turning.
You assumed you had indeed heard the words he had spoken correctly. He took a step back and you noticed his wings were disappearing, was his quirk so consciously controlled that when he was distracted by overwhelming emotions it became faulty? You were more than certain that if the teachers and fellow hero students were still watching, they would be confused as to why Tamaki had let you go.
You slowly rose to your feet, though your body. Mostly your ribs coursed with a dull ache which had you grasping your side. Your eyes were locked on Tamaki as he shook his head and took a step back, his hands tightened around his mouth to prevent it from opening again. But, it was no good. His jaw ached and he couldn’t stop himself, painfully he opened his mouth and more confusing words spilled.
“I...have...been watching you...for so long! I see...you in the...h-halls...and I…” his body went tense as he forced his jaw closed once more, teeth pressing tightly together. What was happening? He had no idea, but he needed to be quiet or else. Oh God, was this because he had eaten the confession he wrote? Your jaw was hanging open, unsure of how to process the words he was speaking.
First, he ate a piece of paper, now this? You took a step back when Tamaki stepped forward, “Uh, T-Tamaki, are you okay?” you questioned before he opened his mouth once more, his eyes watering over which concerned you all the more. “I...f-freeze! You’re the one...p-plaguing...my t-thoughts, my desires…I,” Tamaki’s jaw clenched once more and he leaned over, his hands curling into fists.
“I w-want you...my l-love,” your heart began to pound in your chest, being called ‘my love’ by Tamaki of all people. Well, it was sweet. But, you couldn’t ignore the fact this was clearly not a willing confession. Something was making him speak against his will, maybe his quirk? His voice was strained and breathless which only furthered your assumption he was truly fighting with himself.
“I...long...t-to hold…y-you! My darling...and b-be your hero, to c-cradle and protect...y-you!” his body was trembling as he raised his hand, fingers spread out and palm facing toward you. Your eyes shifted to that hand, eyebrows furrowing together. “Uh...Tamaki,” you said, though you were tempted to take that hand. “I long...t-to be yours!” he stumbled forward, his face was hot and he could feel droplets of sweat fall from his person.
The fact his cheeks were completely red was a good indication he was embarrassed by what he was saying which caused you to frown. You planted your feet on the ground, knowing that you couldn’t exactly run away or restrain him in his current state in order to win. That wasn’t a fair fight and in addition, you knew heroes don’t run from those in need.
However, it seemed even in his...current abnormal state. He was still in control of some of the aspects of his quirk, in fact, before you could properly react. Those tentacles were around one of your arms, the suction cups digging into your skin and taking firm grip. “Amajiki!” you took a step back, trying to pull your arm out of his grip. But, it was no use as you just got pulled forward again.
“AMAJIKI,” you warned again, going as far as to reach over and begin to claw at those tentacles. The sound of your shoes scraping against the metal ground wasn’t exactly comforting, neither was the fact you knew you were going to lose this small struggle. “I w-want to be your husband...one day! Scream your name...f-from the rooftops! My love...my one and o-only!” you shook your head, now growing afraid of the shy reserved boy.
Especially when he finally pulled you forward, causing you to shriek. Your hand was out as you collided with his chest and you immediately felt the pressure of his arm against your lower back. His nails digging into your hip which made you hiss. But he continued to speak, “Just let me h-hold you and soak y-your body in! M-Melt together in a beautiful...ember of love and j-joy,” you blinked, trying to jerk your body out of his grip.
But, it was of little use. He leaned over and you shivered when you felt the soft skin of his face bury itself into your hair. “You are...my w-whole world…” he sucked in a breath, still fighting but it was beginning to hurt. His stomach felt heavy, too weighed down. He needed to say everything, “Fear and c-courage, the one...s-sole purpose in my life...i-is you,” the words were mumbled slightly and he lifted his head.
“I won’t g-give up. I’ll f-fight the army that holds m-my love hostage, I want you to be...m-mine,” your eyes widened and you wanted to tilt your head up and look at him, but you were almost afraid to. “My l-love and my heart, the one...I w-wish to worship. D-Drop to my knees...a-and kiss your skin,” he choked out and you could feel those tentacles loosen around you.
“Tamaki…?” his name came out of your mouth in a soft whisper and you finally lifted your head to look at him. His face was still twisted, a painful expression spread across it and you gasped as he leaned close. You were taken back by the intense expression that danced in his eyes and your face began to grow red. “I want t-to set up a s-shrine...pray to your p-powerful aura,” this was just getting weird, but somehow you knew it was the truth which made it even scarier.
You were tempted to run when those tentacles finally retracted, but you didn’t have time to even think about such as Tamaki’s hand now gently took hold of your chin. You felt a lump form in your throat as you found yourself staring into Tamaki’s eyes. “Forever...m-more...until the end of my...d-days...I...” he suddenly stopped and his breath hitched.
You opened your mouth to speak, but no words came out. However, you let out another shriek when Tamaki suddenly dropped to the ground. You stumbled back, not having expected such a thing. The sound of his panting filled the air and you watched as he reached up and ran his hand through his hair. Such didn’t help the sweat that covered his person and your eyebrows furrowed once more.
“I...Amajiki, are you...I mean...everything you said...was it…” you were almost afraid to ask and took a sharp breath which caused a shooting pain to course through your ribs. You latched onto your lip to prevent yourself from hissing and Tamaki slowly lifted his head to look at you. His eyes full of horror and regret, “I...I…” he wasn’t sure what to say, what could he say?
He wasn’t entirely sure what made him say what he did, every word he spoke was in his letter. Did eating it make an effect on his quirk? He groaned and covered his face, saying no more before he took off running in the opposite direction. It took you a moment to fully realize the Big Three member was indeed making a run for it, “Amajiki, wait!” you called out, your hand outstretched in his direction.
Your teachers and fellow students who witnessed this odd interaction were currently scratching their heads, trying to piece together what could have possibly happened to cause one of the top students to run with his tail between his legs. But, the fact you were being watched through this whole exercise was the last thing on your mind.
You couldn’t help but run after Amajiki, your feet pounding against the metal flooring of Ground Gamma. While you had lost sight of him, you knew there was only one place he could have gone. To the end of the training ground where the exit was located, though you weren’t as fast as Tamaki which caused some anxiety as you hoped he’d be where you thought he was.
When you reached the location of the exit, you leaned over with your hands on your knees. The sound of your soft panting filled the air before you wiped your brow. Your jaw then clenched as you tried your best to ignore the pain in your ribs, the exit to Ground Gamma was a large hallway with very dim lighting. In a way, it made you uneasy seeing Tamaki there.
Despite being dressed in his hero attire, he was facing the wall. His forehead pressed against it and you could tell he was trembling, you had known Tamaki to do this exact thing. Given the fact he was rather shy and suffered from anxiety, you frowned and slowly approached him. “Amajiki,” you said, your voice was soft. But, that didn’t stop the fact that Tamaki ducked his head.
You reached your hand out, wanting to touch him but you decided against it for now. You took a deep breath, “Um, so…” you reached up, scratching the side of your temple. Where would you even begin? “I’m not sure...what that was but...did you mean it? Everything you said?” Tamaki wanted to smack his head against the wall, your question left his stomach twisting with butterflies.
Honestly, part of him wished his heart would stop as opposed to continue to pound inside his chest. Of course, everything he said was the truth as terribly spoken and previously written down as it was. He honestly didn’t know what he was doing. In fact, he had never written a love letter before and though he had made countless drafts. It seemed he just wasn’t talented enough to write such romantic words on paper.
“Mm…” is the only way he managed to respond to you. “Mm? Amajiki…” you paused and decided to finally reach out, placing your hand on his shoulder.  However, he seemed to shy away from your touch. Shuffling to the side, you let out a sigh and lowered your hand. A friendly touch wouldn’t do anything in this case and you didn’t know the other Big Three members well enough to ask them how to properly handle Tamaki when he got like this.
You’d feel bad if you left him all alone, but it didn’t seem as though he wanted your company at the current moment. You glanced down, hearing the sound of wind echo through the open exit way. You turned your head to look around, you knew you couldn’t afford to waste any more time.
Else your teacher would begin to look for you or another verse competition would start. “Amajiki…” you said yet again, allowing your hands to rest by your sides. “Regardless if...what you said was true or not, I think we need to leave an-” before you could say anything more.
Tamaki had turned and began to sprint away and it honestly made your heart sink. You watched him disappear from view again and let out a sigh, maybe you’d confront him about it later. But, if what he said was true. Well, you’d need to figure out how you felt about it.
        Chapter 2:About that night
“Hey dad, mom.” You said, sitting down on the cool grass, you began to pick at the blades like you did as a child as you spoke. “I know I haven’t visited in a while. In my defense, I was in school across the country, but it's not like I haven't been thinking of you guys.” You leaned back the cool marble chilling your back as well. You could practically hear your mother’s voice in your ear.
“Ladies don’t slouch, Y/N” She’d always say, your dad would always come to your defense, “Sit however you want, Angel.” He’d say. You smiled, sadly. You missed your parents in different ways but you still missed them regardless.
“Umm, so I suppose I should tell you guys what’s new with me.” You say. “I finished my masters, 2 actually and I uh… finished academy. I’m a profiler now at Quantico.” you winced slightly, you knew your mom would hate it, she hated when your dad was one. You couldn’t count the amount of times you hid in your room watching TV to drown out what they thought was hushed arguments. Your mom didn’t like that he wasn’t home a lot, sure but the main argument was always that she thought it was dangerous, and that he was recklessly putting their lives at risk.
If there’s one thing your mother always was, it was right.
“I know you guys probably wouldn’t have wanted this for me. I know mom wanted me to be a dancer despite my inability to dance.” you laughed, looking back fondly at the times you would just, for lack of a better word, flail around your childhood dance classes. “And I know dad never wanted me to know about that side of his job. But I did, and now I’m doing it and I’m happy because it’s the one place I finally feel like I fit.” You sigh. “And I’m good at it. So I feel like you guys would be proud.” You began to rattle off the details of your most recent case quietly to your dad. And how Spencer took a risk that had thankfully paid off but was terrifying in the meantime.
“Spencer is…” You paused, trying to think of the right words to describe Dr. Spencer Reid. “... A guy. Wait, not a guy, like that. He’s a coworker, who’s a guy.” you say, fumbling and probably flushing if you could see your face. Why were you blushing? No one was here, no one alive at least. You’d known Spencer for a little over a month now and the more you spoke, the more your crush on him developed.  “He’s incredibly smart, like genius-level smart, and he’s nice. Dad, you would’ve liked him.” you felt tears coming up, as they typically did this day of the year. You stood up, placing the flowers you had purchased the day before. “I actually managed to find some good blue hydrangeas this year for you, mom.” You smiled, remembering the amount your mother would complain about how other people took care of their flowers in the neighborhood you grew up in specifically your neighbor’s blue hydrangea bush. You often found her in a rage that they were ‘practically butchering her favorite flower’  You laid the flowers down regarding your parents grave one more time.
Alice and Noah Y/L/N
Beloved Parents and Agents.
You stopped for hot chocolate on your way home, it always cheered you up in these winter months. Not that anything could cheer you up today but it couldn’t hurt. You made your way back to your apartment, picking up your textbook and making notes. When the words began to swim you laid down for a nap.
You hadn’t had the dream for a while but it was never really gone. The putrid smell of the basement you were kept in, the drip of the leaky ceiling, the small sealed shut window that was your only indication that days have passed. His hands, filthy dirty hands. Always covered in soot, fingernails always dirty. He’d always come in at night, the light from the hallway being the only amount of light you’d get. Every night, he’d grab your face roughly, making you meet him in his dead eyes, and ask
“Are you going to be good for me tonight, Beloved.”
You fought him the first couple of nights, but after a while you just let him take it. His hands always rough, pinning you, the knife pressing deep making shallow cuts in your side, the ringing of the phone
The ringing of the phone…?
You wake up startled, your phone is ringing. You look at the caller ID, it was Garcia.
“Hey Garcie.” You say, sleepily, calling her by the nickname you gave her a month into knowing her. “Is there a case?” You ask.
“Nope, sugarplum. I’m calling to ask if you wanted to come out and have a girls night. I was thinking maybe calling Prentiss and JJ, we go get drinks, have fun…” she trailed off.
“I don’t think so, Garcia, I might just sit and watch tv tonight.” You say, being in large crowds, especially today, didn’t sound fun.
“I know what today is, Y/N” she says, quietly. “So even if you don’t want to go out that’s fine, I’ll bring food, wine, and we can totally just sit and watch tv. But you shouldn’t be alone.”
She was right, you knew you shouldn’t be alone. You sigh. “Only if you bring thai food and we can watch Doctor Who.”
“Deal!” she says excitedly before hanging up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
You and Garcia proceeded to spend most of the day watching Doctor who and laughing around Thai food. You’re halfway through the 10’s second season when Garcia gets a call.
“What’s up, buttercup?” She says. You can’t make out the other person on the line. “I am sitting with Y/N in her apartment and we’re watching Doctor Who, can you believe she stopped watching after Nine?”
“I got busy!” You said around your mouth full of food.
“Hold on, I’ll ask.” Penelope says. “It’s Spencer, he wants to know if it’s ok he comes to watch with us. I’ll tell him no…” She trails off.
“No, it's fine.” You say, nodding. “Tell him he can come.”
“Spence, she said it’s fine. But I’d hurry up before she inhales all the Thai food.”
“Fuck you!” you exclaim, laughing.
You get up and head to your bathroom. You looked like you had been crying for sure. So you put some concealer under your eyes and blush on your cheeks. You look at yourself again and decide why not finish? And put eyeliner and lipgloss on. You change pajamas as well opting for shorts and a tank in case you get warm.
You come back and Garcia is full on smirking at you.
“What?” you ask?
“Nothing…” She said, smirk now turned to a full grin.
You pour more wine into your glass, feeling Garcia’s gaze still on you. You look over and you were right. She was looking at you, still smiling.
“Alright out with it, Garcie.”
“You like him.” She says.
“Pardon?” You question hoping that if you act like you didn’t know what she was talking about she’d let it go. Obviously that was not the case.
“Spencer.” She says, nonchalantly. “You like him.”
You pick up your glass. Now seemed like the best time to drink. “No, I don’t”
Garcia scoffed. “I may not be a profiler, but I’m not an idiot.” She laughed. “I tell you Spencer’s coming over suddenly you have on full makeup.”
“I just didn’t want to look like I was crying.” You pointed out.
“Uh-huh, and the changing into the super sexy pajama set was also so you didn’t look like you were crying?”
You roll your eyes, continuing to eat. “It’s not sexy, it’s pajamas.” you say around your food.
“If you say so, I think it’s cute though.” Penelope says. “You know, he asked me if you were dating anyone the other day.”
“Really?” You said, a little too excitedly.
“No!” She laughs. “But nice acting skills, you almost had me fooled that you didn’t like him.”
You sit back in your seat pouting. “That’s not a nice trick to play.”
“Oh, shut up. You’re only upset you've been had.” As if he knew you were talking about him, a knock came to the door. You both turned to look at the door neither moving to get it. “Are you going to get the door or do you want to change again.” She jokes.
“Shut up.” you mumble before opening the door. Spencer regards you with a tiny smile clutching his messenger bag. “Hey, Spencer.” You smiled moving to the side, letting him in. Garcia greets him too, patting the seat next to her in the middle of the couch. He sits his bag down before joining her. You return to your seat at the end immediately pulling your legs under you turning your attention to the TV. You feel eyes on you so you turn only to lock eyes with Spencer. He flushes immediately before awkwardly clearing his throat and turning toward the screen. Weird… you think.
The three of you watch a couple more episodes, at some point the Thai food is put away and replaced with popcorn. You’re laughing so much you almost forget what today is.
Almost.
Eventually, Garcia stands. “Well lovelies, I have an early day tomorrow. So I’m going to head out.”
Spencer moves to stand too. “Guess I’ll head out too.”
“No!” Garcia all but shouts. “Don’t stop on my account. You guys seem like you’re having fun.” She says. If you weren’t glaring at her before it was full on daggers now she was obviously trying to set you up.
“If I’m not putting you out, Y/N.”
“Never Spencer, I like hanging out with you.” You add. God, I sound lame. You think. But you instantly lose that thought when a bright smile crosses his lips. You can’t help but look and smile back. A throat being cleared brings you both back.
“I’m going to go.” Garcia says, smiling at you both. She hoped you guys figured it out you could be good for each other. “I’ll see you at work.”
“Bye Garcie! Thanks for today.” You call out to her, watching to make sure she got to her car safe. You turn back to Spencer. “Next Episode?” You ask, he nods furiously.
You’re about halfway through the second episode you’ve watched with just Spencer and you can’t help but be hyper aware of your body right now. Spencer was still so close, seated in the middle of your couch instead of the end where Garcia had been. You took in his relaxed frame, the furrow that was normally in his brow was almost entirely gone, his sharp jaw finally slack. You find yourself looking at his mouth for a while, he had such a pretty mouth, soft pink lips that you couldn’t help but wonder what they felt like, what they tasted like--
That thought was dashed short when you saw his eyes back on you. You flush looking into his eyes.
“You didn’t come to work today.” He says.
“I did not.”
“Hotch said it was a personal day.”
“It was.” You sighed. You knew someone would eventually ask about it, you worked with profilers, you're sure most of them deduced why you took a personal day even if they didn’t know the whole truth.
“Do you want to talk about it?” He asks. He’s offering you an out, you decide not to take it.
“It’s been 11 years since my parents died today.” You say. “You’d think it’d get easier by now but it really really doesn’t.” You sigh.
Suddenly you felt arms around you. Spencer was hugging you tightly and that was enough to break the dam you thought you had closed before. You began clutching on to him sobbing giant messy cries into his shoulder. He rubs your back in smooth circles whispering it’s ok until he notices you calm. He still didn’t release his hold in you so now you were laying in his arms, head resting on his shoulder. ”You didn’t have to do this.” you say “I know you’re a germaphobe.”
“Yea to strangers, Y/N.” He points out. “Not to you, you’re my friend. I’m always going to try to protect you.” He says, smoothing your hair from your face. The action itself was so fond it hurt you. And while the friend comment stung a little you couldn’t bring yourself to care because right now even if it was just for the night you were in Spencer Reid’s arms. And you felt safe.
“Can we finish Doctor Who now?” You inquire, not moving from your spot, practically burying yourself into Spencer’s shoulder.
“Of course.” He says pressing play. You stay like that, pressed tightly together until David Tennant’s voice and Spencer body warmth lure you into slumber.
——————————————————————-
You’ve been working late into the night for the past few months so he must’ve thought that this would be your same routine from your previous nights. He's always been a careful person. He knows you have your location on. He always knows where you are but not just for your safety but to also bring her over.
He knows this is wrong. He loves you and knows he could've talked to you about maybe spending less time at work and maybe make a bit more time for him. Atsumu knows that your work is important and he's not gonna take advantage of you like that, especially when you come home from work tired, and with his volleyball schedule and his career you guys barely got to spend time with each other.
He wants to stop this but his need never stops. He knows what he has with her is just something done out of lust and that’s it. Atsumu only wants her around just to make his cock feel good and that’s it. He's already made it very clear he does not plan to leave you and to not get any crazy ideas.
He thought that tonight would be just like any other. He couldn’t have known that you were on your way home. He couldn’t have possibly remembered that today of all days was the release day of your book that you've put months of work into. Who knew that by mistake you left your phone at the office. All he knew at that moment was that your best friend's pussy takes him so well.
As you were driving your way home all you could think about is to hug your husband and yell to the world that you've finally finished your first written work! You felt such accomplishment that this book that you've put all your heart, sweat, and tears into was finally released! So many people believed in your dream but you felt you really couldn’t have done it without the love and support from your husband.
There have been many times where you felt like you haven't been given Atsumu much attention. You've been working long hours and at times late into the night to get this book out before the deadline you've been given. All those hours of hard work you felt paid off, now all that’s left to do is celebrate and who to celebrate better than your husband. After all, he's the inspiration behind your book.
You get out of your car making your way towards the entrance of your house. You notice a car that you've seen before but you can't remember where, so you just brush it off and make your way to the door. As you're unlocking the main entrance door, you don’t notice anything out of the ordinary. The house is dark and there's no one in the living area, I mean what did you expect its one in the morning. You were going about your routine trying to not wake Atsumu up when you hear some strange noises coming from your shared master.
As you're approaching the hallway that leads to your room, you've noticed the noises are starting to sound a lot more like sexual moans. Your first thought would've been that Atsumu might've fallen asleep while watching porn, and you'd believe that. But these moans sounded too real to be coming from the tv in your shared bedroom. You can see from the small gap underneath the door that the lights are still on.
You're getting ready to enter your room when you notice that the door is slightly open. If only someone were to prepare you for what you were about to see. As you enter the room you see what no woman ever wants to go through. Your husband Atsumu on top of another woman.
"I can never see myself with anyone that wasn’t my husband," you said.
Who would’ve thought that my marriage was falling apart… not me right?
Have I been so oblivious this whole time?
How long has this been going on? The question I proceeded to ask myself...
How did I not see this coming?
But now that you saw everything with your own eyes, you realized you’ve put all the pieces to a puzzle you didn’t even know you were solving.
Today was publishing day and you were gonna surprise Tsumu by coming home after the book release, you would have called but your phone may have been misplaced somewhere in your office. You didn’t have time to go back to the office, you’ve been missing Tsumu a lot. But the surprise you got when you entered your shared bedroom and watched as your husband was on top of another woman was not something you ever expected to happen.
As you stood there watching your husband fuck another woman and not just any woman but your best friend all you could think about was, Atsumu the man that promised to be with you for the rest of your life was in your bed fucking your best friend. You want to be angry, you want to run and scream at them, you want to ask why they did it. Not that any explanation would fix anything, you just couldn’t say anything. As you stood there for what felt like a lifetime. Did you lose your train of thought? Did you forget how to talk?
He finally notices that you’ve been standing there. He panics and gets off your best friend as he tries making his way towards you.  All you could think to do at that moment was to just close the door and run out of the house towards your car and make your way out of there. You started driving with no destination in mind, you just wanted to be anywhere away from this bomb. As you're driving, you end up taking the route that leads you to Akaashi’s place. You get out of the car and make your way towards his door.
It’s like you came here out of instinct.
How can you not when you guys have been working on this project for the past several months. He’s a great editor and a great friend too! He appreciates your hard work! You remember when you told him that you wanted to give writing another try and had an idea for a book he immediately offered his services as an editor. He’s always offered his help to you. Even goes out of his way to help you research some titles or genres that you could find interest in writing. He’s a great guy and you’ve grown very close to him.
Now you’re at Keijis place late in the hours of the night. You decided that you couldn’t do this by yourself so you knock on his door.
“Y/N are you alright, What are you doing out so late?” He asks.
You shake your head no. How were you gonna tell Akaashi your world was falling apart. He’s your editor, he shouldn’t need to know that your husband just cheated on you with your best friend.
“Would you like to come in? We can talk about whatever is troubling you?”
He doesn’t give you a second to answer before he grabs your hand and guides you to the living room. He has you sit on his sofa while he makes you both some tea. Some time has passed since you arrived at Akaashi’s, you’re telling him everything that happened an hour prior to being there. Akaashi is tracing small circles on your back. He tells you that this wasn’t your fault and you're not one to blame here and that
“Hey Y/N?”
“Did you say something Keiji?” Y/N says looking up from his shoulder. He can tell they’ve been crying. Akaashi hated seeing them like this. These past several months, he got to know Y/N as a very kind and goal-minded person. He saw someone who only strived to make her and other’s visions come to reality. The months Akaashi spent with Y/N were by far the best few months of his life. He would never tell Y/N that.t He hates that the book is done because now they won’t get to spend as much time together as they used to.
The months he’s been with her he got to spend a lot of time getting to know her world. He observed the way she would get when she had writer’s block. The number of times he’s watched her get frustrated at how she didn’t like the ending of a chapter for the book. He saw how countless nights she felt helpless and wanted to quit. She would fall into a negative state where she convinced herself she wasn’t a good writer. He also saw the nights where she would vent to him about Atsumu becoming distant once again. NIghts where they would drown themselves with work just so they didn’t think about crying.
He saw all of that. Nights where y/n needed Atsumu. Late nights where he was fucking his wife’s best friend.
“What’s your next move?” Akaashi asked.
“I think the best thing right now is for me to go home and get an explanation”
Your expression is giving regret all over it. How were you gonna go back home and look Atsumu in the face? What more could he explain that you don’t already know? You keep going back and forth between blaming yourself more than blaming him. You want to put this in your head as if it was your fault. But you know deep down that if Atsumu really loves you like he says he does he wouldn’t have cheated. At the end of the day, he cheated on you, not the other way around.
“I think I'm gonna call Yachi and see if she’s okay with me spending a few nights at her place just until I figure out what I’m gonna do. In the meantime, I gotta get back home.”
You sigh, you're getting ready to get up when Akaashi takes a hold of your hand
“Wait Before you go, I have a suggestion for tonight if you’d like to hear”
Akaashi doesn’t want you going alone but he also feels as if he’s overstepping his boundaries. He knows this is none of his business but why does he feel like it is?
“How about we go get some of your things and you spend the night here?”
It was a nice offer from Keiji, but you already feel like a burden. He’s been so kind as to listen to you, you just don’t wanna cause him any more trouble.
“ I appreciate the offer Keiji but I don’t wanna wrap you up in my troubles.”
“ Y/N you’re no trouble, I just want you to know that you’re more than welcomed to stay here.” Akaashi knew you’d reject his invitation. He knows you’re not the type of person to rely on others' help, you’re a giver not a taker after all.
“Can you promise me if you don’t wanna be there with Atsumu you’ll call me and come here?” Akaashi the overthinker, always worrying about others.
“ I promise I’ll call you Keiji, if anything happens I promise to come back here.” The answer appeases him, he lets your hand go.
“Thank you Y/N Can I walk you out?” You nod and make your way towards the entrance door.
“Thank you for having me over at this time of night..” before you could finish your sentence, you were pulled into Akaashi’s arms.
“You don’t have to thank me Y/N, I’m glad you trust me enough to open up about what happened.”
You don’t know why but his words are making you feel safe. You trust Keiji, he’s not the type of guy to hurt anybody.
You thank Akaashi again as he walks you to your car “ Can I check on you tomorrow?”
You reply with a nod “ See you tomorrow Keiji.”
Both of you say your goodbyes. As you’re leaving Akaashi’s house, you can’t help but feel nervous about the conversation you were about to have with your husband. What was gonna happen with your marriage? Can this be forgiven? Questions that kept plaguing your head. Only one question stuck out more than the others…
Do I wanna divorce Atsumu?
Solo (IwaOi)
Oikawa and Iwaizumi have been dating for the entirety of their high school life, and on their graduation day, they decided to break up as they go solo and take separate paths to chase their dreams.
"We'll leave it to fate then?" Oikawa asks with a chuckle. They're currently sitting on a swing at a park near their house.
"I guess," Iwaizumi answers with a shrug, "if we're both single when we meet during the Olympics, then that only means one thing,"
"Alright," Oikawa says and stands up, "I guess this means we've break-up officially as a couple, and our relationship as setter and spiker is broken. I'm hurt, Iwa-chan," he jokes and pouts.
Iwaizumi rolls his eyes and stands up. He wraps his arms around Oikawa's shoulder and ruffles his hair, "You're still my spiker, and I better be your number one spiker regardless of who you meet in Argentina,"
Oikawa laughs and hugs Iwaizumi's waist as he says, "you're always going to be my spiker, and I'll always be your setter. Even if our love for each other fades as time passes by, that's one thing that'll never change," he whispers and takes a step back to stand next to Iwaizumi and hold his hand.
"You're right," Iwaizumi agrees and lets Oikawa's fingers fill the gap between his.
"You'll see me off tomorrow, right?" Oikawa asks. Iwaizumi turns to him and nods, "of course, I will. I'm afraid you'll be a brat and refuse to leave if I don't,"
Oikawa releases an exaggerated gasp, "you're not that important to me anymore that we've broken up, Iwa-chan," he says and pouts with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
Iwaizumi laughs and pokes at Oikawa's side, "so your best friend isn't that important, huh, Tooru?"
Oikawa turns to Iwaizumi and pulls him into a tight hug, "that was a joke, Iwa-chan, don't cry,"
Iwaizumi gently pushes Oikawa and says, "Why would I?" before they both burst out laughing.
They remained in comfortable silence after and just stood next to each other while watching the stars, both of them savoring their last night together before they part.
"What now?" Oikawa asks when countless minutes have passed between them.
Iwaizumi turns to Oikawa and holds his hand, "have fun in Argentina. Date and fuck around with who you want but don't do anything stupid. Make sure you eat your meals and don't stress yourself too much" he says without looking at Oikawa.
"You have glassy eyes, Iwa-chan," Oikawa teases after throwing Iwaizumi a side glance, "you really are like my mom,"
"Just shut up and don't ruin the moment," Iwaizumi says and wipes his tears, "I'll miss you,"
"I'll miss you too," Oikawa says and tightens his grip on Iwaizum's hand, "You should have fun in California too. Eat as much food as you want, visit clubs and make lots of friends, date and fuck around too. Just be happy while in Cali,"
Iwaizumi nods, "I will, so you better be happy in Argentina too,"
"I will," Oikawa answers. They both remain silent for a minute before they decide to walk home with their hands tightly intertwined with each other.
The next day arrives, and Iwaizumi accompanies Oikawa to the airport. They were both silent. Neither of them was saying anything because all of their sentiments were said the night before.
"Hey, Iwa-chan," Oikawa calls out while fidgeting with Iwaizumi's fingers as they wait for his flight to be called.
"What is it?" Iwaizumi asks and turns to Oikawa, who kept his eyes on Iwaizumi's hand.
"I know we mutually decided to break up, but can I have a goodbye kiss?" Oikawa asks and turns to Iwaizumi with his signature puppy eyes.
Iwaizumi laughs and gently guides Oikawa to lean on his so he could press a kiss on Oikawa's head, "how can I say no?"
Oikawa smiles, "thank you, Hajime," he says before they both fall into comfortable silence once more.
Oikawa's flight was already called, and they both stand up. Oikawa turns to Iwaizumi, and the latter opens his arms, saying, "come and get your goodbye kiss,"
Oikawa chuckles and walks into Iwaizumi's arms. He's met with a warm hug and a gentle kiss from Iwaizumi. They shared a kiss similar to the ones they share under a tree during warm Saturday, one that's slow and filled with love.
"I have to go. See you, Hajime," Oikawa bids goodbye when his flight is called a second time.
Iwaizumi smiles at him and nods, "take care, Tooru,"
"You too," Oikawa says and leaves Iwaizumi to watch his back walk away.
Years passed, and they both had their fair share of dates, hookups, fucking, and hardships. During those times, they kept in touch and made sure to call each other. They would talk about their day, the friends they met, the people they dated, and the struggles they've had.
Though they were kilometers away from each other, they were still close. Their days always started with morning messages from each other and ended with late-night calls. They kept this kind of relationship until the day they meet finally arrived.
Olympics was just around the corner, and they promised not to meet each other before that. Oikawa had arrived in Japan a day before the game, and unlike the days they shared before, this day didn't start with a good morning, nor did it end with a good night from Iwaizumi.
They both held back from talking to each other, and when they finally met on the court, they smiled at each other.
The game proceeded with both of them focusing on the game, and when it ended, they met in the middle and asked each other one question, "are you still single?" they asked in unison, making them burst out laughing.
"Since we both ask, that only means one thing," Oikawa says, and Iwaizumi nods, "we're single,"
"Does this mean we get to continue our postponed high school love story?" Oikawa teases.
Iwaizumi rolls his eyes and shakes his head, "only if you're up for it,"
Oikawa takes a step closer to Iwaizumi and whispers in his ear, "I still am,"
Iwaizumi laughs and wraps his arms around Oikawa, "then that means neither of us are going solo from now on,"
"Yeah, we'll be a powerful duo," Oikawa says and wraps his arms around Iwaizumi as they look forward to their future together.
[ Posted on Ao3 ] [ Chapter 1 ] [ Chapter 3 ] [ Chapter 5 ]
[ Summary: Alya takes Marinette somewhere, and it turns cute. ]
Alya decided that Marinette wasn’t getting out enough despite the fact that they shouldn't be going anywhere when it was still late winter.
“Girl, you hardly go anywhere anyways unless it’s for someone else!” Alya argues as she dragged a snugly bundled Marinette down snow and salt dusted sidewalks.
“Hey, I went to the school’s Valentine’s party last month, that should count for something!”
Allya scoffed at the weak defense. “You were, like, a ninth-wheel, Marinette. Rose and Juleka, Nathaniel and Marc, Mylène and Ivan, Nino and I, we were the wheels on that bus. You on the other hand…” She trailed off to emphasize her point.
Marinette scoffed. “I think you missed a set of wheels, Als. Max and Kim were there. Chloé and Adrien showed up, too.”
“Max was there sporting an Aro-pride flag pin and keeping Kim company,” Alya shot back. “They were just being single-wheels, together. And Adrien, with Chloé? More like she had kidnapped him to a secondary location! Adrien clearly wasn't the one to decide to show up. And remember the color coded cups? He was using the one for the ‘Single, just here to support my friends’ category. Just like Max, just like you. So my point still stands: You need to get out more often, just for yourself.”
Marinette sighed, relenting. “Fine, but next time, I get to decide where I go, so no more surprise trips.”
“Yesss,” Alya pumped her fist in the air victoriously, her wings spreading out, too. Marinette laughed and pushed her hand back down to her side while she dodged out of the way of one fairly the overexcited wing.
“Anyways, where are we going? You said something about, ‘You’re going to love it, my treat!’” Marinette quoted in an exaggerated mimic of Alya’s voice, causing both girls to burst into giggles.
“Just a café,” Alya says coyly, almost teasingly. It made Marinette squint in suspicion.
“It wouldn’t happen to be the same café you mentioned two weeks ago on the Ladyblog, right? The one they planned to theme after Paris’s new heroes?” Marinette asked, teasing her friend right back with her confident guess.
“You remembered! Yep, that’s the place! And it’s not just any regular themed café, either. It’s a cat café,”Alya revealed dramatically, while spreading her wings again to wrap them both in a mock cocoon of unnecessary but playful secrecy. Marinette balked.
“Wait, so you’re basically taking me to a ‘Chat Blanc emphasis-on-the-Chat’ Café?”
Alya snorted, pulling her wings back. “Yes, but it’s actually called ‘Hero Rescue Café’. They work together with the animal shelters around Paris, most of the cats they have are available for adoption. The profits are even donated back to those shelters to help keep the animals cared for. Isn’t that cool?”
“Mhm,” Marinette nodded along as Alya continued to rave excitedly and lead the way to their destination. I wonder if they’ll have any cats that look like Blanc? Probably not. Blue-eyed white cats were already popular, and no doubt are even more so now. Not that I could adopt a cat anyways, but it’s a niche thought. Wait, why is it a nice thought? It’s not like I like Chat Blanc or anything, no way! I don’t do crushes! Oh, who am I kidding? Marinette groaned in defeat to her own thoughts, making Alya stop talking and look at her.
“Something wrong, Marinette?”
“Oh! Sorry, I didn’t mean to worry you, I was just thinking about how sad I’m going to be if I see a cat I really want to keep but can’t?”
Alya nodded in acceptance of the awkward excuse, and Marinette sighed in relief. I can never tell her about my crush- I’m scared to find out what kind of match-maker she would try to be. Or even worse, tell me I have no chance! I mean, I know I have no chance, but still, ow. Would Ladybug have a chance? Wait, she and I are the same person! If I don’t have a chance, neither does Ladybug! Hold on, why am I even thinking about this!?
“We’re here~!” Alya announced, breaking Marinette free once more from her internal chaos.
“Is that a cat in the window? There’s a cat in the window!” Marinette let herself get distracted by the café and Alya laughed.
“Duh there's a cat in the window, it’s a cat café, what else would be in the window?” She teased, but Marinette only laughed.
“Well I know that, but I can still be excited over a cat, can’t I?”
“Save it for when we go inside,” Alya winked, opening the door for them both. There was a second set of doors past the first, and Marinette realized that they did the smart thing and made an enclosed entryway.
“Oh, this is to keep the cats from dashing outside, like at a dog park,” she mused, making Alya chuckle.
“Yeah, and gives people a fur-free place to hang up their coats. Oh, look!” She added excitedly, pointing to the opposite wall from the hanger rod. There was something that almost looked like a long shawl or a barber cape. Marinette recognized it easily. “They have wing-covers for patrons to borrow, in case we don’t want the cat’s playing with our feathers. That’s so thoughtful. They really went all-out on this place.”
Marinette smiled and nodded in agreement as she slid off her jacket and hung it up. “It really is sweet of them. Are you going to use one?” Alya shook her head.
“Nope. My wing’s are tough, I can handle a few clingy kitties,” she declared with a proud smile, and Marinette only chuckled as she opened the next set of doors for them both.
Unsurprisingly, Marinette enjoyed the café. She spent a lot of time admiring their logo that was embedded in the resin coating of their tables. The stylized lettering was inspired by some of the animal-themed Akumas. Then the entire name was encircled by the white belt of Chat Blanc and the red and black yo-yo of Ladybug. Symbolic of two heroes saving those in need. They really thought this out. Maybe Ladybug should show her respect here some time.
Surprisingly, the café’s cats also enjoyed Marinette. Alya was convinced they had met every single cat in the building before they even got their drinks. Marinette was just embarrassed and spent a lot of time spreading her attention between each feline before shooing them all off towards other guests. One of the cats, sleek black with yellow-flecked green eyes, was too stubborn to leave, so she let him claim her lap indefinitely.
But, completely unbelievably, the café got a surprise guest. Chat Blanc himself showed up out of the blue. Alya had spotted him running across a rooftop across the street, and proceeded to book it out the door, fly after him, and then shamelessly ask to take a photo of him with the cats that were inside the café inspired by him and his partner. He was stunned at first, but agreed, soon enough beaming happily as he surrounded himself with cats.
“Is he crying?” Marinette whispered to Alya as she recorded the feline hero sitting on the floor with at least five different cats climbing his back, shoulders, and into his lap.
“The happiest tears I’ve ever seen,” Alya confirmed.
Once Alya was satisfied she had taken enough pictures and video footage for the blog, she turned her focus to getting a few personal memorabilias.
“Mari! Come here! Take a pic of me with Chat, please? I want something for my desktop background, this would be perfect!”
Marinette agreed, to the annoyance of the cat in her lap. She managed to get the photo, a cute scene of Alya, her nerdy school friend, and Chat Blanc, her dorky friend-but-only-because-she’s-secretly-Ladybug, doing a silly pose with their arms linked, wings flared out, and several cats surrounding them.
She gave a thumbs up, and Alya whooped, standing to take back the phone. Marinette stepped forward, only for the clingy black cat from earlier to entangle himself with her ankles.
With a squawk, she went tumbling, but was deftly caught in the arms of Chat before she could meet an untimely end via a floor of cats.
Marinette flushed scarlet. Chat Blanc smiled shyly. The black cat jumped up on them, getting his lap-seat back. Alya, of course, got another photo.
All three of them managed to laugh it off, but not without Alya demanding another picture of the two and the cats before she would let them stand up.
“Marinette, I’m texting you copies to keep for yourself. Sorry, Chat, I’d send you some but-”
“No worries,” he chuckled and rubbed his neck, waving her concern away with his other hand. “Secret identity means secret number. You’ll be using your own pictures on your computer, though, right? Consider me honored by that,” he bowed dramatically and the two laughed as he straightened. “And Marinette, I’d be more than happy to let you do the same if you wanted, too,” he played the comment off with a wink.
“Time for me to go,” Chat Blanc continued before either girl could respond. “Chat out!”
They watched him dash out the doors and off over the rooftops.
“Girl...Did he just flirt with you?” Alya looked at Marinette, awestruck.
“What? No! There’s no way! Nope!” Marinette flustered and started walking out in a feeble attempt to escape the accusation.
“Uh-huh, because feeling ‘honored’ to be a screensaver for one girl and being ‘happy’ in case it were to happen by a second girl, is totally the same thing,” Alya followed after, determined to tease the life out of Marinette.
“Yes, exactly! Completely the same! It would have just been awkward to say the same line twice, so he just reworded himself, that's all! He was just giving permission to use his picture for personal use, nothing more, nope!”
Alya laughed before winking playfully. “Yeah, girl, sure. That was all, nothing more, nothing less. Whatever you say.”
“Thank you,” Marinette nodded in finality, ignoring the teasing sarcasm from her friend.
Later that day, Marinette saved one of the café photos as her phone’s background, making sure to put a completely different photo as her lockscreen to avoid any further notice or teasing about her and Chat Blanc.
Gosh, I really love your posts💜😍 Always the right dirty talk in the right sexy moment 🤤 That's why I want to request something too 🙈 (your asks are open, right? If not, just ignored this here) What about the reader wearing secretly a buttplug under her skirt/dress and the boys slap teasingly her ass, not knowing what she's wearing, and she yelp because of the sensation and get red cheeks, panting (unusual behaviour) and then she confess or the boys feel it while grabbing her ass🙈 💜💜💜
Hmm I guess I can answer this one just for you Tipsy 😜💕
Namjoon
Smacking your ass to tease you and hearing one of your delicious moans leave your lips left Namjoon a bit confused. You usually only yelled when he smacked your ass? He knew something was up, especially with the way you pulled down your skirt more and walking a bit oddly next to him. He didn't push on it though... Later you were making out, kissing and Namjoon's hands were gripping your ass tight, kneading the thick flesh and spreading your cheeks under your skirt, that's when he felt it... You had.... Something up your ass... A plug... He grinned. "Baby girl, " he said in a deep husky voice, "why didn't you tell me you were wearing such naughty things today?" He gripped the head of the plug and pulled it out of your ass making you gasp before he pushed it back in making you even wetter than you already were from it "you know what happens when you don't tell me what you want, " he lightly growled, gripping your hair and pulling your head back far enough to make you gasp. "Y-yes, I get punished, " you said, knowing full well... "Good girl, now take off your clothes, I need to give my baby girl a few spankings." And he did, leaving the plug in which had you crying out. Only when your ass was beaming red and throbbing sore did he satisfy the need of your dripping cunt, fucking it with his cock, filling you up with himself rough and deep to have you screaming in pleasure... Fuck, you came hard, many times... Namjoon was just... So fucking good to you... So fucking good at sex... And his big cock was so great to be fucked by.
Tumblr media
Seokjin
He was.... Surprised, pleasantly of course, but still surprised... He saw you bed over in your short skirt to pick up something you dropped and there he saw the pretty purple gemmed plug, buried deep in your little hole... He swallowed hard but he didn't mention it... He was starting to notice your odd behavior though... Taking deep breaths when usually you wouldn't need them. Yelping when he had smacked your ass earlier and of course being more careful to sit than you usually were while wearing a dress.... Later when he asked you if something was going on (knowing full well what it was) you were already at the end of your rope and needing him. "I-I wore a plug today! While we went s-shopping!" You blushed deeply and covered your face. Jin blushed too but he just rubbed your upper back and kissed the side of your head. "I know, " he whispered and your heart stopped for a minute before he smiled at you. "Care to share what inspired such a dirty trick?" He asked and you whined before burying your face in his chest and he chuckled and hugged you to his chest, smiling and comforting you, promising to help with the pool of arousal that was practically a puddle between your legs by now.
Tumblr media
Yoongi
Walking to up the stairs to how studio he walked behind you, so he obviously took advantage of that and smacked your ass. This made you yelp and blush. "Min Yoongi stop it!" You scolded and he stood blank for a moment seeing how red and panting you were. What the... "Hey, are you okay??" He asked helping you to his studio where you cautiously sat down, your hips moving a bit once seated. You stayed quiet for a moment as he just looked at you, and then you covered your face and admitted what you were wearing. His eyes widened and he blushed before seeing you shamelessly grind against his couch now. "Oh I see, baby girl has been needy, " he sat down next to you and squeezed your thigh. "Lay on my lap, I wanna see it, " so you laid over his lap and he pushed your skirt up before pulling your panties aside to see your darling plug in your ass. "Fuck, " he swore his cock hardening at the sight. "Don't worry, I'm gonna take good care of you.... As long as you take care of me, "this had you nodding while whining and it was a done deal, 69 all the fucking way.
Tumblr media
Hoseok
When he found out he grinned pushing you up against the wall rubbing his hands over your body and down to your ass where he squeezed your cheeks and spread them apart under your skirt. "Damn baby, such a bad little girl, wearing a plug... Do you want my attention down there? Hmm?" He pulled the plug out and fucked it in and out of your hole as you stood in the corner of their dressing room together. "Hos- Hoseok!" You gasped your legs becoming weak making him chuckle and kiss you, licking his tongue into your mouth. "Shh, just be quiet and let me fuck this into your ass like a good whore, " you whimpered hearing those words. So you let him, and he let you grind against his thigh as he did. This made you cum really fast and hard. But you were even more excited for when you got back to the dorms tonight and he would fuck you for real this time.
Tumblr media
Jimin
He was kissing your bare shoulders, grinding against your ass as he had your front pressed against the wall in an alleyway. It was just... You were both feeling pretty desperate. So he was grinding between your ass cheeks when he felt something hard through your skirt and his pants. But what intrigued him even more wa the fact when he bumped it you yelped "YES! yes please, Jimin!!" So lifting your skirt he pushed your panties down your ass just far enough to see the pink gemmed plug... "Oh fuck baby that's so hot, " he whispered "I might have to actually fuck you in this alleyway now, " he said and your eyes widened. "W-what?" But Jimin was already unbuckling his pants and pushing them down just far enough for his cock. He bent you just right before pushing into you and beginning to fuck you outside in a dark alleyway. "Fuck fuck fuck, " you whimpered and he groaned against your ear, "feels so fucking good baby, " he whispered proceeding to keep fucking you in the alleyway until you both came.
Tumblr media
Taehyung
Taehyung was concerned. Your cheeks we're red and your forehead was hot. You were panting occasionally and you could never seem to be comfortable, always shifting around... Taehyung thought you were sick, and he was treating you as such. You let this happen for a bit, not understanding what he was doing until he mentioned the way you were acting. Your eyes widened "no! I'm not sick it's just that...." You swallowed hard and Taehyung pushed a strand of your hair behind your ear. "Just what?" He asked softly and you blushed. "J-just that I'm wearing plug..." You whispered and his eyes widened before you looked up from your lap to him. You were sitting in the back of one of BTS's transport cars together. "A plug?" He whispered back and you nodded. He gulped and looked down at your lap... "Can... Can I see?" He asked and you blushed deeply "when- when we get back!" You whispered back and he nodded. "Right, of course... Right...." He swallowed hard. The ride home was embarrassing, you yelping at every bump, the plug pushing against all those deliciously sensitive spots, and Taehyung subconsciously rubbing your thigh in anticipation because you both knew you were going to fuck as soon as you showed your plug to him, cute with a green gem sticking out for him to look at as he'd fuck you. And boy did he.
Tumblr media
Jungkook
you were with the other boys when you decided to tease jungkook into a but f a friendly wrestling bit. he ended it by spanking your ass a few times. a mistake... a big mistake. oh god, you gasped and moaned from the way the slaps made the plug move and then your cheeks reddened because all the boys clearly heard. if the sudden silence was any indicator.... jungkook heard too, and he was red, biting his bottom lip and blushing hard. so when everyone went to bed he took you to his room and asked what that was about... so you showed him... you had been wearing it for him to see anyways.... you bend over and pushed up your skirt over you bum before pulling down your panties to reveal the blue head of a gem in a metal plug, snug up your ass.... fuck. jungkook swallowed hard. "i wore it for you, " you said and he pointed at himself. "for- for me?" he asked and you blushed, nodding bashfully. "we can uh, do things while i wear it if you want... i've read it makes things feel... tighter..." you admitted and his eyes widened. it was a split second later you were being thrown against the mattress, kissed passionately. you two didn't even take your clothes off, your panties hanging off of your ankle and his pants and shirt unbuttoned just enough to breath and let his cock through so he could fuck you. "fuck baby, the plug looks so fucking good, so fucking good for me and so fucking tight, nnngh god!" he fucked you fast and hard making you squeak and whimper in pleasure, cumming a few times on his cock. so whenever you wanted to be fucked really good and hard, you leaned to wear the plug for him. you both loved that little thing. it gave you both so many orgasms.
The Fate of the House of Thorne
Inspired by my secret santa from last year, what a timing am i right and the Dead!MC challenge by @dat-silvers-girl (i think). I recommend checking out the info about Lith’s curse before proceeding, tho it’s not necessary.
Warnings I guess: character death (no shit sherlock)
Tumblr media
Lith was dying. She hadn’t been able to tell where the bird ended and where the woman started for a while now. She had taken spells and fangs and claws, without the slightest hesitation. Her body felt tired, beaten and utterly broken.
Dying felt like shit, she decided.
The strength was leaving her lungs and she thought of Talbott. Her poor beloved, lying as an eagle, motionless. Before they got separated, they had promised to meet up in the Great Hall after everything was over. That, of course, never happened.
She thought of their last meeting, prior to the battle, years ago.
They had fought. Lith wanted to help Undesirables. Talbott had tried to dissuade her from that. She had gotten angry and asked him to quit as an auror instead, now that the Ministry was obviously in the hands of Death Eaters. Talbott refused and Lith banged the door on her way out. She had gone back to Mexico to check on her family and when she came back she did exactly what she had intended.
What an awful thing it had been to see him for the first time in 3 years in the familiar hallways, surrounded by the enemy. The flood of emotions had threatened to let out a torrent of tears. Relief, happiness, fear. She was obviously happy to see him alive, she had wanted to apologize for a long time. But at the same time he was about to get attacked, she couldn’t rest just yet.
If Lith had known that he was going to die anyway, she would have hugged him so tight. She would have kissed him with tears in their eyes and she would have told him how sorry she was; not for doing what she did, but for leaving him behind. Sure, there hadn’t been much time for that, but they should have risked it. At least they might have died together.
The black feathers slowly crept over her neck, getting closer to her face. She could even feel a few behind her ears.
She had heard stories of how past Divideds had died. Getting murdered through their Companions, using too much energy until they collapsed, dying while being in their Companions bodies, merging fully into them till death. There hadn’t been a Divided in the Thorne bloodline for so long, that it all sounded foreign. Yet it was happening to her. Her grackle Companion had disappeared into her chest the moment she let go of Talbott’s body and lost it. Lith knew he would not come out again.
“Thorne? Is that you?” Someone called out for her, yet it felt so, so distant. On a closer look, Lith distinguished a familiar mess of brown hair rushing towards her. “Hey, get it together, idiot!”
Merula fucking Snyde. And in Death Eater’s robes nevertheless. Lith would have laughed if there had been any energy left. What came out instead was a choked snort.
Merula got down, leaning closer to inspect her.
“Battle’s over, Death Eaters retreated to their master.”
“And you’re still here.” Gods above, her voice sounded terrible. Merula glared at her.
“Does it matter? I’m the one who’s saving your sorry ass.”
“No, you are not.” Lith coughed and looked at Merula’s startled face.
“Say again?”
“You are not…,” coughing again, “saving me, I’m going to die no matter what you do.”
Merula decided that arguing with a half dead delirious freak was going to get her nowhere. She grabbed one of Lith’s feathered arms and attempted to lift her up.
“Leave me, I’d rather spend my last moments lying down than being dragged like a doll”
“Were you always this dramatic, Thorne?”
But Merula laid her down. She got her wand out, probably resorting to healing her there herself. Not that it would work, a simple spell would not break a curse she had unsuccessfully tried to get rid of for years.
“I’m scared, Snyde,” she admitted. “Terrified as hell.”
“Shut up”
“I don’t want to die”
“And you will not, now shut up!”
“I’ve always been… so afraid of death, even before Rowan. I was also scared of growing all wrinkled and old, but I suppose that won’t be a problem anymore.” Now that it was really over.
“I will make it your problem, don’t you worry about that.” Merula looked like she had something to add but stopped when she eyed Lith.
She was now sobbing uglily. She found out she still had energy to feel stupid for crying before the person who had hated her the most in their school years. “I’m scared, hold me…”
“I said you are not-”
“Please…please, I’m scared” Lith pleaded, weeping. “I don’t wanna go, I don’t wanna go…”
In that moment, Merula recognized there was nothing she could do but give in to the dying witch’s request.
Merula held her rival’s hand one last time before it went limp. There was no need to close her eyes, for they had been blocked by the black feathers that now covered the entire body beyond recognition.
Lith had died.
------------------------------------
I...never intended to write this whole thing. It just happened. Merula’s appearance was a surprise to me too. Also, don’t worry this is not canon she will not die in the Battle of Hogwarts.
After thinking about it a while, I decided I do not want Lith to break her curse, I won’t allow her. Both in the canon storyline and in this AU, she will die from it. It just seems...right.  She will live a good life but die to the thing she is afraid the most. someone’s gotta take one for the team as in someone gotta stay cursed to balance the ones who do break theirs jk.
I also projected a lot with this, I myself am very scared of death. I even wrote a whole paragraph explaining the reson behind the way her curse works and how it relates to my fears and desires when I was feeling really down earlier today, but I won’t post it because I’m okay now.
Jotaro - Lonely
This is cross-posted from Wattpad and available on AO3. This is an old work, the writing has improved ever since.
Enjoy~
The bell rang, signaling the end of morning classes. You gathered your things, and took your bento with you as you were heading out of the classroom. Some of your female classmates called out to you.
"Hey Y/N! You come eat with us?"
"Ah, not today, sorry! I'm eating with someone else." you said to your friends sheepishly.
They came closer to you to not raise their voice and attract attention to their next words, as they may provoke some crazy fangirls.
"Are you eating with Jojo again?" the first one dead panned.
"Jeez, I really don't get what you see in him. I mean he's hot, but that's it." the other added.
"Yeah, he's an asshole, and violent too, and knowing you, you wouldn't even hang with a guy like that even if he was Mr. Worldwide Handsome."
You frowned at their words. You liked these girls a lot and they usually were sweethearts, but you hated when they acted like that. Disrespectful and judgmental.
"Hey, if you hate him that's on you, but please don't disrespect him to my face..." you said softly but sternly. Seeing the upset look on your face, they felt bad.
"I'm sorry Y/N, but really, we don't understand what you like about that guy."
"We're worried about you, you know? What if he does something to you, or gets you in trouble? Did you know he sent Kowasaki-kun to the hospital?"
"And you remember how he told Sayaka-chan off when she confessed to him? She cried for weeks! No respect for women, that guy!"
You understood their concerns, but you started to get tired of all this. You turned to face them properly and snapped.
"How dare you, you don't even know him to judge, maybe if you gave him a chance and tried to actually talk to him face to face, maybe you'll know what's so good about him. He may look intimidating, but he's the nicest guy I've ever met with the purest heart, and he doesn't talk shit about people..."
The girls fell silent, guilt obvious on their faces. You continued on your rant as other students that walked by or entered the classroom, stopped to listen to the whole drama happening.
"Put yourself in his shoes for one sec. If people kept staring at me, followed me all the damn time, spread rumors about me, and started fights with me, I'd want to skip school too and not talk to anyone either. Learn to know people before you make assumptions. And stop cutting him in front of my own two eyes. You damn know he's my friend." you finished with venom in your voice.
You didn't know but this whole time, a very tall edgy boy was waiting outside the classroom, listening to the whole conversation. He had a tiny smile on his lips. He was gone before you could get out of the classroom and notice him.
As you walked away, the people who witnessed the whole scene were astonished by your rant. Some of them also felt guilty, along with your two friends. After all you were right. People kept judging Kujo Jotaro, but who could actually say they knew him? He had a reputation, yes, that's for sure, but nobody actually tried to approach him and check for themselves.
The only ones who tried were thirsty fangirls who only cared for his looks and body, and either ended up hating his harsh personnality, or just got even more turned on by getting insulted by him.
You walked up the stairs, on your way to the rooftop where your tall friend was probably waiting for you. You took a deep breath to calm down your nerves, but you couldn't help the pang of sadness in your heart.
Why were people so mean? To insult Jotaro so freely, only judging the book by its cover, and trying to get you away from him like he was the black plague or something.
As you got there and opened the heavy metal doors, you were greeted by the stone look of your lunch buddy.
"Hi Jojo!" you put on a fake smile, trying to forget the ordeal "Did you wait long? Sorry!" you stepped towards him.
He didn't say anything, just scooted a little further from where he was sitting, a silent invitation for you to sit beside him which you did.
You both opened your lunchboxes and he noticed how little you actually packed. Only some veggies and a salad.
"Vegan?" he asked with his deep voice. Startling you a bit.
"What? Ah no, I uh.. I'm trying to lose some weight haha..." you admitted blushing a little, scratching the back of your neck "It's embarassing."
"Bullshit." he commented while taking some meat from his own cutely prepared bento -bless you Holly- and giving it to you, putting it in your own box.
"Eat. I'm not dealing with your anemic ass again".
You blushed at the nice gesture as you muttered a little 'Thank you'. He actually remembered your little health condition. You only mentioned it once when you felt particularly dizzy, but he actually paid attention and cared.
That's exactly what you were talking about. If people saw this side of him, they would never even glare at him. They would know how sweet and caring he was.
You fixed your skirt after you finished eating, and stared mindlessly at his wandering blue gaze. He always seemed like he couldn't care less what other people thought of him, but you wondered how he felt deep down.
It must be so lonely, being rejected by everyone.
He noticed your staring, and looked back into your sad eyes. Before you could break contact he asked.
"What's wrong?"
You didn't want to talk about negative stuff and spoil the calm mood, so you just shrugged it off and told him it was nothing important, but he pressed further.
"Tell me what's going on." In fact, he knew exactly what happened, but he wanted you to actually tell him. See how you were going to word it.
You knew you couldn't win against him when he was like this. You let out a tiny chuckle as you gave up.
"Jojo... Don't you feel lonely sometimes?" you paused a bit to let you both think. "Even if you pull out that strong exterior, I can imagine how it must feel. People talking dirty all the time, being the center of the attention, having a bad reputation, being assaulte-"
"I'm not lonely." He cut you off as he heard enough.
"Huh?" your eyes widened in disbelief.
"I don't need anyone's validation anyway."
You still wore a painful expression on your face. It was like you were carrying all his pain for him. To be honest, you'd rather wear that burden on your shoulders than him.
"But Jojo..." your voice cracked and you stopped talking. Not trusting your voice anymore as tears welled up in your eyes.
"Yare yare daze.. Why are you the one crying?" he then wrapped his strong arm around your shoulders and pulled you against him so you could cry freely on his chest.
"Because... Because you never cry Jotaro! Are you okay?" you managed to say between sobs.
It amused him how you were the one to ask if he was okay when you were the one sobbing. He'll never admit, but he was actually grateful to have such a caring friend, that will cry in his stead and stand up for him, even if he didn't need any of that.
Also, he thought it was cute how emotional you could be just for him. Sometimes he wondered if he even deserved you.
"Stop worrying so much about me. Worry more about yourself. Good grief your empathy will kill you one day." He took out a handkerchief and proceeded to wipe your face roughly making even more of a mess, like an inexperienced dad.
"Pffft Jotarbbrrbrprpr Staapppbbrbrpbrrb pfffft" you desperatly asked him to stop since he was harshly scrubbing your face and spreading your snot and tears all over your skin.
You just grabbed his wrist and cleaned yourself properly this time, your composure returning.
"...I heard everything back there." he suddenly started after you calmed down in his arms.
"Heard what?"
"What you said about me to those girls in the classroom."
You got up from you leaning position against him and looked at his face with wide eyes. "You were there?"
He nodded, his deep blue eyes soft on your own. He was so beautiful. The more you looked at him, the more handsome he seemed. You could only reciprocate his look as you apologized.
"I'm sorry you had to hear those horrible things they said about you... They're not bad people, they just... misunderstand you."
You tried to justify your friends' behavior to reassure him, but the male didn't give two shits if your friends meant what they said or not, all he saw right now, is how pure of heart you were.
To try and make your classmates look good even when they were openly rude. The way you defended him back then, and how you defended the girls now. How you didn't see the bad in people and only highlit their qualities.
He didn't even notice that he was running his hand to the side of your head and brushing your beautiful hair. God he was so enamored with you.
Lonely? Him? How could he ever feel lonely with someone as magnificent as yourself by his side?
You grabbed his hand gently in your own small one with a soft pink hue tinting your cheeks. Words were needless. These small ministrations of love said everything for you both. Slowly you approached the hand that you were grabbing and gently placed your lips on his wrist in a angelic, feathery kiss.
He shuddered as his cheeks lit up at the pleasurable feeling. You were so cute, he couldn't help but respond by cupping your cheeks and kissing your lips in a silent confession.
If only people knew this side of him.
This was inspired by and old friend of mine. He had the reputation of a violent delinquent, and people didn't like me being around him. Even the teachers called my parents to tell me to stop hanging out with him. I tried my hardest to convince everyone that he was very kind and polite and with the nicest heart. Nobody believed me obviously. Funny thing though, my parents loved him!
You’re Lucky I Love You So Much Pt. 2 -- Sonny Carisi
Notes: The second half of this fic! You finally meet lots of Carisis and Sonny dances like a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man. Also a little bit of tooth rotting fluff because it’s what we all (including Sonny) deserve.
--
Spending a couple hours in a Catholic church packed full of hundreds of chatty Italians wasn’t your ideal way to spend a Saturday morning. Though you’d certainly had worse. Like the one proceeded by a Friday night in which your roommate convinced you eight shots of Bacardi wouldn’t be a mistake.
It was.
And even though this Saturday morning was already leaving a similar churning feeling in your stomach, you knew that this wasn’t a mistake. Sonny had his fingers intertwined with yours and was leading you through the crowd to an open pew. Well, he was trying to lead you. The two of you were being stopped every few feet by some distant relative.
“Sonny! How’ve you been?”
“How’s work?”
“Who’s this?”
“Aren’t you two adorable!”
“How long has this been a thing?”
By the time you finally sat down you’d met twelve cousins, eight second cousins, a handful of aunts and uncles, and Sonny’s mother who, very sweetly and simply, wrapped you in a gentle hug and told you you looked lovely.
“See?” Sonny said, raising his eyebrows and tilting his head forward a bit. “That wasn’t so bad.”
“No. It wasn’t bad at all,” you replied. “Except you could have warned me about all the strangers that would be kissing me on the mouth today.”
Sonny laughed, “Yeah, it’s an Italian thing.”
Then he got more serious and added, “If it makes you uncomfortable just tell them. They won’t be offended. Except my Uncle Tony, but you already met him.”
You certainly had already met Uncle Tony. It was like meeting a mobster straight out of the movies, gold chain and all.
“It’s fine. I’m just not used to it,” you replied with a smile.
He returned the smile as some Bach began to play, signaling that the big event was about to begin.
The ceremony was as lovely as it was long. You were up and down on your knees more times than you had been in months. Sonny’s cousin Gio was a mess, unable to stop a steady flow of tears. And at one point you glanced over to find Sonny shedding a tear as well. You just smiled and squeezed his hand a little tighter.
At the reception you were overwhelmed by the uproarious and joyous noise. Not anxiously overwhelmed, but more so awestruck by the swell of music and voices. A couple family members gave speeches as you waited for dinner. Gio’s father told a sweet story about the groom as a boy and ended it by thanking God for bringing the Carisis and Millers together. You caught Sonny tearing up again and it made your heart swell.
He didn’t always show it, but he cared very deeply for people. Especially his family. He had an endless supply of empathy that he learned to cover up after too many years of being pushed around. When you first started dating he was even a little brash because of it. But over the months he had opened up to you. Now he was crying unconcealed tears of joy in front of you and plenty of others.
And when the speeches were finished and dinner was sufficiently scarfed down he grabbed your hand without hesitating and pulled you out to the dance floor. To be clear, Sonny Carisi is not and has never been a good dancer. But get a couple glasses of champagne and the celebratory spirit in him and he is unstoppable. It was like watching one of those floppy, blow up guys in front of car dealerships try to maintain a beat. It was insanely adorable and weirdly a little bit sexy.
After a particularly energetic bout of flailing to “Lay All Your Love on Me” by ABBA you convinced him to take a break with you. You grabbed the cuff of his dress shirt and led him through a set of glass doors to a small patio. As you stepped out into the night air Sonny took an exaggeratedly deep breath and draped his arm over your shoulders.
“Care for a little stroll, doll?” he asked.
You closed your eyes, felt the breeze wind through your hair, and nodded your head as a reply. You and Sonny wandered outside of the reception venue for a bit before finding a good place to stop and sit. Sonny reached out a hand to lazily draw circles on your knee and the two of you rested in companionable silence for a few moments, just watching his finger move on your skin. Then you looked up to find an almost solemn look on his face.
“Penny for your thoughts?” you nearly whispered. You were suddenly and inexplicably a bit afraid of what he was going to say.
But his continence quickly slid back to a pleasant state and a small grin ghosted on his lips. “I’m havin’ a great night with you. I’m just hopin’ you’re feelin’ the same.”
Then he slid his hand away from your knee to grab your wrist and squeeze lightly. Then it slid further to intertwine with your own hand. It was mostly light and calming, but there was an undeniable weight to it. Like he was trying to steady or anchor himself and his thoughts.
When you didn’t immediately respond he continued, “I know you were nervous about this. You felt like people wouldn’t like you or maybe that we were movin’ things too fast. But I know everyone loved you. Ma and Pa and Bella and even Mia. And she doesn’t really like anyone. I- I just need to know that you’re okay. That you’re having a good time and that you’re happy you came with me.”
It almost made you cry, the way that Sonny let his insecurities slip out sometimes.
You turned as much as you could to face him. Your knees were pressing almost uncomfortably into his thigh when you said, “Sonny I’m more than okay. Looking back I can’t even fathom why I turned you down in the first place. Your family is amazing. A little over affectionate, but amazing. And you’re amazing. I can’t think of a better way to have spent my time today than with you, here, making a complete idiot of yourself on the dance floor.”
“Hey!” he jokingly poked at your side. “I’m an excellent dancer.”
You laughed, “Sure, Sonny. I’m sure everyone in there would agree.”
He beamed back at you for a moment then leaned in a little closer to ask one more time, “Are you really happy you came?”
You nodded and to reinforce your answer you closed the distance between the two of you with a kiss. You felt him relax under your touch. His hand that wasn’t already holding yours reached up to brush your hair behind your ear and rest on your jaw. The two of you stayed like that, tender in each other’s hold and kissing, for what felt like an eternity. Then a somewhat aggressive song started to seep out from the reception hall, you guessed something by Muse from what you could make out, and Sonny quickly left your lips.
“Hey, I think it’s that song from Twilight,” he mused, turning to look over his shoulder.
You couldn’t help your mouth from dropping open and your eyebrows knitting together. “Twilight?” you nearly croaked.
Sonny quickly twisted back to face you, the blush already spreading to his ears. “Yeah. Yeah Mia once put it on while I was watching her years ago. It’s- I wasn’t watchin’ it on my own or anything!” he retorted. “I don’t have to explain myself to you. It’s a good song and we both know which one of us’s seen Twilight more times.”
“Alright, that’s fair,” you relented, standing and pulling him up with you. “Let’s see some more of those sweet moves of yours before the night is over.”
--
Weird to think that this was inspired by the thought of slow dancing with Sonny. I got too caught up thinking about those lanky limbs trying to move rhythmically. Maybe I can just write about slow dancing another time…
Thanks again and again to anyone that read through this whole thing (especially to @the-baby-bookworm for letting me know someone wanted a part 2! I took it as all of you guys wanting a part 2). I’m planning on writing more in the coming weeks when I have the time to. We’ll see if my university moving online makes me write more or less...
In the future when I’ve (hopefully) started writing for more characters than the sweet Sonny Carisi I would LOVE to take requests. I’ll be sure to say something if I do!
Additional note in these turbulent times: avoid packed churches with hundreds of chatty Italians for a little while folks! We all need to do our part to keep ourselves and those at increased risk safe. I’ll try to post more frequently so we all having something to keep ourselves occupied and INDOORS.
Cal noticed that you have been awfully quiet the whole day ever since you two got back from Dathomir. You couldn’t help but keep recalling the moment where you flunked a move that allowed the Nightbrother to strike you with his mace. You feared that you’ve lost your touch, your skill, and grace and lost to someone with a crude fighting style.
Asking you if you’re okay didn’t exactly do much, whenever Cal looked away, you’d go back to skulking; now, you’re whiling away your time reading BD-1’s databank entries uploaded to your datapad at the couch. He pretended to go to the galley, fixed himself a glass of water, and peered over your shoulder and found you reviewing lightsaber combat forms.
He didn’t say anything, he finished his glass and marched back to the cockpit, leaving you in the solace of your privacy. Cal went to the holotable and typed the coordinates of a planet. It was a planet that he had heard from Master Tapal as a child.
“Setting course for…” Cal shushed Greez before he could say the name of the planet out loud. The captain got the hint. “Aggio? Never heard of it.”
“It’s a planet my master told me about, I’ve never been there myself,”
“And we’re going here because?”
“It’s a surprise,” Cal smirked. “For her.”
Cere and the captain exchanged glances as soon as Cal stepped out of the cockpit to join you at the couch. He casually settled himself next to you on the sofa, propping his foot over his knee and slouching his back against the backrest.
“Hey,”
You turned to face him and parroted his greeting.
“What are you up to?”
You stammered, “Oh, um, studying… reading…”
“That’s a new thing I’ve heard from you,”
“I was a bit of a study bug when I was a Padawan whenever Master and I are back at the temple,”
You heard the humming of the ship and saw the flash of blue light through the windshield.
“Where are we headed?”
“Oh, you’ll find out soon enough,” he cooed.
Now that he has piqued your interest, the first phase of his plan is proceeding accordingly. You took his statement with a grain of salt and continued studying. Hours later, you have completed the learning modules of the lightsaber forms from Form I to Form IV—all that time you spent studying and figuring out if one form is compatible to mix with the other was the exact travel time the Mantis needed to get to Cal’s secret planet.
When you felt the suspension bounce against the surface, you put the datapad away and joined Cal by the cockpit. The Mantis landed in a high forest clearing, in the north, a town can be reached with just a short trek. Cal abruptly grabbed you by the hand and dragged you out of the ship, clearly, he was excited to show you everything there is to see about the planet.
You stand at the edge of the small rise of land that overlooks the town. Even in broad daylight, the town radiated a certain kind of brightness around it—as if its aura pooled and then burst for everyone to see.
“Where are we?”
“This is Aggio, it’s a planet that I’ve only heard from Master Tapal, the stories he used to tell me about this planet was something straight out of a fairy tale,”
“Oh?” you cooed, your curiosity obviously more piqued than earlier.
Not once did Cal ever let go of your hand as he brought you into the town. Left and right, colors flooded your vision—the sparkling blue of its lake, the vibrant colors of the flowers that are too many to name, even the most neutral of colors like white and beige pop out just right in the spectrum! All the townsfolk—diverse as they are—were in all sorts of cheer, it was the contagious kind and you can’t help but smile as well.
All of a sudden, you forgot all of your worries drowned by the colors and the music.
Street musicians filled with the air with their instruments, artists joined by children color the streets with paint and chalk, and vendors offered you their trinkets. For each and every thing the two of you pass by, BD-1 was there to scan everything he could get his lenses on.
“Slow down with the scanning, buddy! I don’t want you overworking your processor!”
“Boo! Bee, trill woop!”
“This place is so beautiful,” you gasped. “I’ve never seen anything like it!”
The two of you came across what ought to be the town’s main plaza, you were separated when a group of children tugged you by the hem of your shirt and asked you to join them in painting the road. You drew the Shyyyo Bird and told its story to the children, enamored with the fantastic beast, they decided to draw their own versions of the bird in different sizes and colors.
Meanwhile, an elderly vendor has been noticing Cal fawning over you as you play with the children; he then offered Cal a bright-colored flower and spoke in his native dialect, it was a foreign one that Cal wasn’t fluent in. Luckily, BD-1 was there to translate it word-for-word.
“Give it to the person with whom you share a deep, special connection to,” Cal repeated. “Since when did you have a translator?”
“Bee, woop!”
“[y/n] did that, huh?”
He stared at the flower and then spotted you sitting with the children, continuing to draw pictures on the street, this time you were drawing BD-1 for them and then explained to them what it is. He smiled to himself and the elderly vendor spoke to him again adding more bits to the lore, shortly after, a woman approached the two of them.
“My apologies, my father is not used to Galactic Basic,” said the young woman. “He said that it is in Aggio’s culture, especially during the Pabena Festival, for a lover to give a flower to their beloved. It’s what makes the celebration all the more special—it deepens the lovers’ relationship.”
“I see, I’ve only heard much from someone. I didn’t know about this one until now,”
“I see that you are a traveler, this is my first time seeing you,”
“Frankly, I didn’t know there’d be a festival. I only decided to bring her over,” he returned his attention to you. “Though, I do know that this place was very festive. Please, let me pay for this.”
“No, no need. It’s a gift. My father likes giving them often. Besides, we have enough from this month’s harvest!”
One child walked up to you and tied a ribbon strewn with flowers on your hair. The woman spotted you as she glanced past Cal’s shoulder and she got the hint.
When the parents from the crowd began waving their hands at their children, beckoning them to come to them, they towed you along. The children were so small that you had to lean a bit lower so you could understand them when you’re spoken to.
“It’s time for the parade!” the little boy chirped as his tiny hand held onto your three fingers together, but his mother snatched him up and settled her boy on top of his father’s shoulders.
“I’ll watch it, don’t worry!” you cooed.
You found Cal in the crowd. He showed you the flower that he had been hiding behind his back. It was a pleasant surprise to you, Cal’s heart fluttered when he saw your smile.
Your eyes lit up as you held the flower close to you, “I’ve seen this flower before, but only in pictures at the Jedi Archives. It’s so much more beautiful in person.”
“They said it’s part of their culture to give flowers to their beloved. It gets extra special when they do it during the Pabena Festival,”
“Really? That’s such a beautiful tradition, perhaps the best one I’ve heard by far!”
The entrance of the parade began with a rhapsody of trumpets, drums, and whistles. A chorus of singers marching in the frontline of the band. A column of dancers brandished their colorful costumes and lithe movements on both sides of the marchers.
You held onto the flower as you hooked your arm around Cal’s, the two of you continued to watch the parade until its last segment. When the energy from the town subsided after the performance, Cal decided to be your tour guide and strolled along the town. BD-1 is still having his fill of scanning everything you pass by in the town. The three of you came across a mosaic mural depicting the first dwellers of the planet, possibly hinting how the festival came to be.
You were enjoying your time in Aggio so much that you didn’t realize that it was already dusk. Although the sky was still so clear, hints of golden sunlight began to deepen in color as the sun sank.
Cal leaned closer to your ear, “Come on, there’s another thing I want to show you.”
He led you to the docks by the town’s vast lake and bought a candle fixed in front of a water lily on a pad.
“They said these candles and flowers are offerings to keep the land fertile so they can still grow more crops and flowers,” Cal explained as he inched it closer so he and you hold it on both sides. “And we have to make a wish before we set it out to the water. Ready?”
The glow danced about in your faces as the candlelight flickered.
“Yeah,” you beamed, even in a whisper.
There was brief moment of silence between you and him. He peeped his one eye open and watched you solemnly saying your wish in your mind. It was only a few seconds’ worth and then you’re ready to sail it to the lake. Carefully setting down the lily pad on the water, you and Cal gently push it at the same time so it flows along the current with the others.
You and Cal sat down by the shore, he wrapped his arm around you as the sky began to darken and the candles illuminated the lake. You snuggled close to him with a smile that you can’t seem to take off of your face even if you wanted to.
“This has been the best evening I’ve ever had, Cal,”
“Really?”
“Yes, really. Thank you,”
He inched closer to you until your lips met, he shifted in his seat and caressed your face as he locked lips with you. He’s certain that he felt your smile in between kisses, your heart fluttered, goosebumps pelted your skin, and your hand wandered to his cheek. When you pulled away, you kept your gentle hands on his face, nose-to-nose with each other, the two of you exchanged smiles while watching the night drift by the sea of candlelight with your fingers intertwined.
Sunrise with You (+minor update)
7000 words and counting... this little passion post definitely set me back more than I’d like to admit. But then again, I’ve never really felt this passionate about writing in a while. I have a number of people to thank obviously. Like the devs at LifeWonders for making such a world where these kinds of fanfics are possible. And you, dear readers for giving me a platform to share these cheesy stories and for indulging me so much. Seriously, you guys are the best! And I think it’s about time we let that one guy out of his cell...
~~~
Sunrise with You (Peace)
~With the endless game finally at an end, and the past behind you everything felt… fresh. Everyone in your life was no longer bound by the rules of any game and could live as they wanted. Even the wall that closed you all in no longer stood in your way. Weirdly enough you couldn’t sleep so you had stayed awake staying off at the night horizon. The Tokyo skyline seemed to go on forever with no boundaries to hold you. Just what did lie out there in the world? It was all so exciting. But then, the door to the roof opened and you turned to find…
Zabaniyya
~“Oh, Summoner. It’s unusual to see you out this late.” You explained you had trouble sleeping. Tomorrow was a big day after all. “It will be indeed. Even now the heaven’s give me a sense of peace…” He murmured. The two of you remained stargazing for an immeasurable amount of time, but you knew sunrise was only a little while away now. You then started to ramble a bit. You didn’t know why but you wanted to clear the air as much as possible. You also expressed how much of a relief it was knowing you finally have a place to call home… “I understand the sentiment. To be quite honest, the world beyond those walls always felt… alien in a sense. Just how far does it stretch? Where does it end? If anything, these horizons only seem to grow with each passing moment…” You muttered his name, unsure of how to comfort him. “Lately, I’ve been considering something… Lord Arsalan would always desire me to make a decision of my own but for a long time it felt impossible. Could one such as myself really yearn for a life beyond penance? A torture specialist really living a life of his own?”
~You finally told him that regardless of his past he was still Zabaniyya and every decision was for himself. Even divinity allowed those with their own wills determine their own fate, after all. “Yes, you may be right. And I believe I finally did something about it.” You asked what he was going to do. “That’s… well, remember that day we vowed to one another? Even though it was fake the idea never quite left my mind. What if we were to one day pledge ourselves to one another and just… run away? Be reborn in our own way. Would a life like that be truly acceptable?” For what it was worth you told him it was his decision to decide that. “I see… I feel I’m understanding his teachings after all.” But since he brought it up, now might be a good time to finally ask… you asked him to hold out his hand as you placed an important keepsake in his hand.
~“This is…!” He held Sal’s ring, the same ring he entrusted to you when everything was over. Since it was powerless he teased you to give it to someone special. Those words couldn’t ring more true now. “I’m… I’m speechless.” Was all the fallen angel could say. “Or rather… I’m still afraid to accept this.” You finally just came out and said that you wanted to be by his side and to make a future together for a change. But only if Zabaniyya desired it. He was silent in contemplation for a moment. As the sun rose Zabaniyya pulled you closer to his side and held your hand in his. “Perhaps this is too good to be true, and perhaps I am indulging myself like I did all that time ago. But this once, it no longer matters to me. I feel… genuine happiness knowing you are right here with me. And just as you pledge to me, I swear my oath and gratitude to you. This body, this heart and soul of mine- loves you with every ounce of my being.”
Gunzo
~“You’re still up?” You confirmed it for him and he joined you on the roof. “I couldn’t really sleep either. I tried jogging a bit but that barely did anything.” Gunzo sighed. “I thought maybe I might get tired looking up at the sky instead.” You told him you had a similar idea. “Well, I guess two great minds do think alike.” You sat with Gunzo staring up at the stars and the horizon. You were up for quite a bit, unsure of how much time passed but you enjoyed it. You made sure to tell him that. “Oh, same here. I like doing these sorts of things when it’s just us. Um… what do you think it’s like? Out there I mean.” You told him you weren’t quite sure, and that all you could say for certain was that it was big. “That’s a relief… I can’t quite wrap my head beyond the idea that there’s a whole world yet to be seen. It’s… scary… I’ve grown up here after all, it’s where I met all my friends too. I can’t just leave so easily.” You agreed it was scary to step out into somewhere unknown.
~Gunzo laughed. “The others would probably just laugh at us for being scared, right? It’s over something so simple too…” You did remind him the world could expand an eternity. “Don’t remind me. But, weirdly enough… I wonder what they do in other places? Do others play rugby? Do they take it as seriously as me? Where do I even start?” Gunzo shook his head. “No, I… I have to finish school here at least. Then I can worry about studying abroad like my seniors. Or maybe I’ll get a job… ugh, this is so hard…” You reminded him to take everything at his own pace and that rushing himself would get him nowhere. “You’re right… I’m glad I’ve got you here. I think I’d be pulling my own hair out right now if… n-no forget I said anything.” You took a moment to think and finally decided to give him that.
~“A-A ring!? Hold on, what are you-!?” You told him to hold onto it as a promise ring, and you confessed then and there. You might have broken Gunzo then and there as he simply couldn’t comprehend the magnitude of your statements. “Is… Is this a joke…” He asked before you confirmed it’s the real deal. It was then that all of his emotions came up at once and he pulled you into a tight hug. The embrace was very tight, but loving and genuine. “Please… Please tell me you aren’t joking…!” You reconfirmed it for him and used the L word to seal the deal. As the sun began to rose he started crying a bit in your arms. “Having you… knowing you… heck, LOVING you was the one thing I always felt sure about in a long time! I… I need you to keep me balanced otherwise I’d always forget certain things, be rather clumsy still and get ready to be apologized to a lot! I’m… I’m sorry for needing you!”
Takemaru
~“Hey.” The oni greeted you with a warm smile. You asked what he was doing up so late. “Well, I just finally finished a project I was doing with the rest of my guildmates. I let the others go on ahead to bed, just couldn’t sleep, ya know?” Takemaru walked to your side. “Mind if I stargaze with you a while? I just need some air…” You nodded and proceeded to look up at the sky. Each star seemed to immaculately twinkle tonight but somehow it felt familiar. “Heh, it’s crazy. It’s like no matter where we go, the sky is always the same. It just expands forever. No matter how far from home I am, I always feel like I can get back somehow just by starin’ at the stars.” Takemaru chuckled a bit to himself and crossed his arms. “Still, the past few years have been great. But I’ll be leavin’ again soon, I want to study abroad and learn about all different types a’ architecture. Maybe I’ll get some inspiration for the home I want to make for myself.” You told him that sounded hard but not impossible. “Heh, maybe. But I do know one thing. I want to build my home right here.”
~You were a bit surprised at that. “C’mon it’s not that surprisin’. My friends are all here, along with all the people who were nice enough to a guy like me, even you…” He trailed off. He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts so you asked him what was on his mind. “Hmm… I was just thinkin’ about the future. This place really is like a new home to me. I couldn’t just leave it behind so easily. You especially made sure a’ that. Thanks.” His face reddened a bit but he kept a comforting smile on his face. You thanked him for giving you the chance in the first place. It was a nice change to be on the giving end for once. “…Uh, t-there’s one last thing…” He fumbled with his words a bit. Without saying much else he held out his hand to you and in it was a wooden ring. “I-I want you to have this. J-Just as a keepsake of sorts, i-it’s not anything official but… it would mean a lot if you kept it.” You were shocked to say the least as you took the ring from him. It was even your size. “Just promise me you’ll wear it as often as possible, even if it breaks I’ll come back and fix it right up!” You smiled and told him to take it easy. In fact you were a bit embarrassed since he beat you to it as you handed him a ring of your own.
~All Takemaru could do was stare at it with utter shock. He trembled as he stared at it, the Oni’s face turning a whole new shade of red. “Y-You serious…?” You nodded and told him he was someone who mattered to you a whole lot. You couldn’t just let him leave without telling him how you felt. Takemaru winced with that statement and before you knew it you were pulled into a tight embrace where he stroked the back of your head gently as the sun began to rise. “I love ya too. No, I love ya so much. I promise to come back to ya as often as possible. I can’t wait to start our lives together. Do you like kids? How many kids should we have? Oh, and our home is gonna need lots and lots of pets and- well, let’s take it slow for now, ‘kay?”
Moritaka
~“Hey there.” Moritaka greeted you. “Another night under the stars together…” He said as he joined you. “Sorry if this sounds sudden, but do you have any plans for the future now that we’re free?” You told him you had a few ideas and said you wouldn’t mind hearing any of his. “Well, first I intend to finish my studies in Tokyo. I see no need to rush out like the others do to be quite honest. But after that’s all done I wish to broaden my skills around the world. I want to see new things and places. Tokyo has given me so much, I can’t wait to see how much stronger I can become beyond the walls.” He explained with genuine excitement. “If I meet more people and test my skills against new foes, then I can definitely grow out of being filial…” You told him that it was an admirable goal. “Thank you.”
~“But first, I have to make sure I have all I can from here first. After all, there’s still so much in Tokyo I have yet to see and experience. But thanks to you and all our friends I’m not worried. At least, not anymore.” You told him that he helped you feel bolder after spending so much time together, and how dependable he is. “S-Stop, you’re making me flustered again… a-actually, I don’t mind this time. In fact, it’s rather nice to get a compliment such as that from you. Thank you.” Moritaka’s face went from embarrassment to a more somber one. “There is one worry I have though… I’m afraid that in my pursuit for a future, I may leave those I care about behind. I don’t want to do that… I wish you- … you all could stay by my side.” You may not be able to speak for the others, but there was one thing you knew for sure as you handed Moritaka a precious keepsake, the ring Salomon entrusted to you to give to someone you cherished.
~Moritaka was stunned. “W-Wait, me!?” He was shocked, furiously flustered and downright confused. “Surely you of all people could give this to someone else!” You told him it was your decision to make and that this was what you wanted. “I don’t understand you sometimes…” He sighed while smiling. “Thank you my fr-” Moritaka shook his head. “Thank you, my beloved. Yes, that’s right. My beloved. I never realized before but, this was probably what I wanted… I was just to afraid to say it…” You gave Moritaka a pat on the head and brushed your hand against his cheek fur. While you rubbed his cheek he brought his hand to yours as the sun began to rise. “This joy I have… did you know it all along? Or perhaps someone is watching over us… let’s see the world together, side by side. My feelings for you ever grow deeper, my beloved.”
Shino
~“You should be resting, it’s quite late.” He told you. You tried explaining you couldn’t really sleep and wanted to get some air. “Fair enough. If you’ll excuse me I’ll get back on my patrol.” Patrol, this late? “Yes, even with our victory, peace is still relatively young. Not to mention any remnants out for your head.” While he had a point, you don’t think they’d be a problem anytime soon. “Better safe than sorry.” Well since he was going to be up now might be a good a time as any to stargaze. “What part of patrol do you not understand? Oh, never mind. Fine, I’ll indulge you a little.” He blushed as he conceited to your request. “Perhaps there won’t be any issues if I stay for a few minutes.” And you both did just that, watching the sky and feeling that night breeze brush right by.
~“When was the last time I saw the sky like this? It must’ve been… that night before…” He pondered aloud. You asked him if he’s still thinking of “her”. “Yeah… ah! Forgive me, that was rather insensitive of me… you seem all prepared for tomorrow and I’ve still got my head in the past. I know she would disapprove of such talk as well.” You didn’t mind the talk since it was something important to Shino, it wasn’t something that could be forgotten so easily. “Maybe not, but… there is one way I think it’s been made possible.” Just what would that be? “Being close to you, of course.” It must have been because of him seeing her inside of you somewhere. “No, not that. At least, not anymore. For a while she was the one I’ve been longing to see ever since that day I failed. I desired to apologize and repent for my failure. She was the one I longed to see most. If I had been reborn then surely she must’ve… But I quickly realized how fruitless of an endeavor that was to even begin with, especially now that I know who it was I’ve been searching for all this time.” Oh? “Don’t make me say it…” His ears drooped as he blushed visibly under his fur and turned away. You told him you wanted him to say it, while presenting him with a ring
~Shino stared in shock at Sal’s ring. “T-This isn’t right… I’m just a lowly beast! Why would you want to make their mistake…?” You asked him if he thought this whole thing was a mistake. “N-No I didn’t… ugh…” He smiled and finally turned to face you as the sun rose. “I did say I’d indulge you a bit. B-But please don’t make this a regular occurrence.” He took your hand with the ring in both of his and looked straight at you with a serious expression. “I promise to never fail you, no matter what may come. I wish to keep this dream going just a bit longer, maybe even the rest of our lives. I know with you… the pain in my chest truly leaves. That’s why I am swearing to you, here and now. Not as a beast or as an image of someone else, but as the one you see before you. Please accept me, my beloved.”
Jambavan
~“W-What are you doing out so late? Shouldn’t you be getting your rest?” What about him, shouldn’t he be resting too? “A-About that… It seems Leib somehow talked me into finishing all of the previous work again…” You made a snide comment about Leib’s work ethic and bad practices as Jambavan’s expense. “I-It’s really not like that. Leib has definitely been putting a lot more effort into work as of late, but I think it’s so he can spend his days of freedom slacking. Then again he constantly worries about me nowadays. I’m not quite sure how to handle that on top of the work I was already doing.” Comments aside, you asked Jambavan to rest with you a while. “Sure, I was taking a break anyway I would appreciate the company.”
~You and Jambavan admired the vast sky together and just let the moment take you away. “Even after everything, it’s hard to imagine it’s all coming to an end… It feels like only yesterday I was running around tirelessly helping my guildmates and Alice, that now that I have the freedom to truly choose what I want to do for a change that… I’m downright scared.” You asked him if he truly had no plans for the future. “N-No it’s not that… the truth is, I wish to help as many as I can. And the only way I feel I can do that is if I become a well-versed doctor. To do that, I’d need to seek study outside of Tokyo. Which means I’d have to leave everyone who’d be staying here for a while. Alice, my guildmates, you…” You told him you understood, but it was clear the decision broke your heart a little. It was all for the sake of pursuing his dreams. “There’s… something else too… since I’m leaving I’ve got no use in hiding it anymore. I… I’ve absolutely fallen for you.” Jambavan told you boldly. “Sometimes I lie awake wondering if I’m going mad thinking about you. You’ve become someone… irreplaceable to me. One that can’t just fit as a friend in my eyes, but something more. I just felt you needed to know that before I left. That’s all…” Jambavan’s words surprised you, but made you incredibly happy all the same as you now had no reservations about giving it to him.
~“A-A ring!?” Jambavan gasped with shock. “I-I hope you’re not just throwing that thing around… wait, it’s… for me?” You nodded. “You’re serious…” His eyes began to water as the sun began to rise. He couldn’t contain his emotions anymore and Jambavan reached for you and pulled you into a tight embrace. “It’s… it’s such a wonderful gift! I love you so much! I just… I hope you’ll be alright if I leave…” You told him you’ll be supporting him every step of the way. “I-In that case I… I hope you don’t mind me being a bit more bull headed from now on! Of course I’ll be supporting you too in whatever you want to do. Thank you for showing me I can stand on my own two feet for a change…”
Hati
~Hati walked onto the roof and practically ignored you as he came to stargaze. You commented on the gentle breeze and clear sky. He didn’t seem particularly interested in speaking. So you tried shifting the topic to how late he was. Even then he still remained silent, staring up at the sky. You were starting to get a little frustrated with his silence. Still nothing. Fine then, if he was going to act that way you may as well up and leave. “Wait.” He said, while now looking down at his feet. “I don’t want you to go.” Then why won’t he speak to you. He hesitated. “Because I can’t…” What did he mean by that?
~“Every night the thought of the moon drives me mad until I see it and puts me at ease. For a while, it’s all I could think to do. I thought it would work this time but… it seems as though I can’t…” Was something driving him mad. “Yes. At first I thought it was my beloved Gabriel. While he still has my heart hostage with her music and compassion, I don’t think that’s what’s driving me mad anymore.” He seemed sad. “I… I think you’re the one driving me insane…” W-What? “The way you smile, the way you’re always putting others first, the way your skin is so soft, the way you smell- the way you… well, just the way you are hasn’t been able to escape my mind! Is this a new kind of love!? I thought the moon would calm me down but you… you just have to keep being you and never letting me have a moment of sanity! Just what’s wrong with you!?” He snapped. “Why did you have to go and make me love you!?” He now turned to you. “I don’t want to hurt you… I… I’m scared…” His feelings weren’t something you could control, but maybe there was a way you could put his fears at ease… with this…
~“What are you saying!?” Hati asked with confusion. “Weren’t you listening, why do you-” You told him you had fallen for him too. In fact hearing that those thoughts drove you mad filled you with joy rather than messed you up. It was weird but… you wanted him to have you for a while but were always afraid you’d play second fiddle to his moon. “Ah… I’m… I’m sorry…” He said with a deep breath. “I love you too much to ever want anything bad to happen to you. Which is why we can’t… if Gabriel is my moon, then you are undoubtedly the sun that gives me light to my life… will you…” The sun began to rise. “Will you still have me even if I were to hurt you?” You told him that would never happen, but your feelings are the same. Instead of words, Hati pulled you into a gentle embrace and closed his eyes, finally seeming to calm down. “Thank you, I… I don’t know what I’d do if you weren’t… you.”
Kurogane
~“Oh Junior, you’re still up?” Kurogane addressed you as he joined you on the roof. “I’m guessing you couldn’t get to sleep either. It’s alright, I won’t tell anyone you’re up here.” You asked what brought him up here. “Me? Well…” He turned to the sky. “I do this sometimes. Reach for the stars and space is the final frontier after all, right? To me, it feels like the end goal that gets closer each day. Plus I just like the way the stars twinkle on nights like this. With a view like this, do you blame me?” You guessed not and you both began to ponder what space was like, from zero gravity to the constantly shifting temperature. You were a little scared of it but that only seemed to spur Kurogane further into going to space and conquer your fears.
~It made you wonder what he intended to do after everything the Crafters were repairing was all done. “What I’d do? Huh… I never slowed down to think about that. I guess I’d need to enroll into a college somewhere. I could just apply somewhere here in Tokyo and leave later. Actually, as much as I want to I don’t think I can ever reach space…” But why not? “You remember how I lost my arm in an incident a long time ago? Well, what if they don’t want me heading up there because I’m technically missing an arm. It probably wouldn’t be the safest plan.” You told him that defeatist nature wasn’t his style, and his prosthetic looked just like the real deal. “Oh, I’m not giving up. Even if I can’t make it to space, I want to be a part of a team that can get people there. With that at least I think I can say my dreams have been accomplished.” Well you told him you had faith he’d make it to space no matter what. No one could stand in his way, especially if he keeps training his mind and body. “Right! Thank you, I feel even more fired up now! Is your optimism something that comes this easy? I wonder if we could find a way to channel that…” You were a bit nervous at that suggestion. “D-Don’t take it literally!” Kurogane laughed nervously. “I’m just… glad I have you is all.” You were glad too, and you wanted your senior to know that, especially with how reliable he was.
~You handed Sal’s ring to Kurogane. “This… Why?” Well, you rely on your senior. Especially now more than ever now that you both have a future to craft. “I see…” He smiled. Kurogane wrapped an arm around you as the sun began to rise. “In the end that’s what I want. I don’t ever want you to feel like there’s nothing we can’t overcome, Junior! With my ingenuity and your drive there’s nothing beyond our reach! Not even the stars!”
Daisuke
~“Oh, Bro- erm…” Daisuke stopped what he was saying as he came up to you. “I…” he cleared his throat. “I couldn’t help but notice your restless nature earlier, so I decided it might be a good idea to check on you. Then you went and disappeared…” You apologized for disappearing suddenly but you really wanted to see the stars in the sky. “Ah, yeah…” He said, realizing that the stars were out in full view tonight. “Tonight really is pretty…” You two didn’t speak for some time as you grew lost in the sight. “Staring up at these make me really worried sometimes…” Worried, how? “That one day the real stars are gonna get forgotten and left behind. Not just the ones up there, but the whole reason I became a wrestler in the first place. Will his actions be forgotten? And would I ever be able to inspire others the way he inspired me?” It sounds like he’s been wrestling with these thoughts for a while. “Yeah, I- hey wait a minute! Are you making fun of me!?” Not particularly but you couldn’t resist the joke. He just made it too easy sometimes.
~“Ugh, you’re the worst sometimes…” He laughed. “Then again, I guess that’s why we make such a great team. You help me when I’m being too dramatic and I thank you for it. Really, Brother- uh…” You asked him what was wrong since he seemed to be holding back. “Lately, I’ve been wondering if calling you my soul brother is the right thing or not. It’s not because I think you and I aren’t still like that… we are, it’s just… we’ve seen so much together and “Brother” feels out of place now… but, what is this feeling…?” You pondered it yourself and asked him to explain a bit more. “W-Well, whenever we’re close m-my chest pounds like it’s about to burst. Standing next to you gives me more confidence as myself rather than as Taurus Mask… and… I just don’t want to lose you… I can’t… I don’t understand… No, I do understand. It… It scares me…” You smiled and told him that was entirely natural as you handed him your keepsake.
~“Wait, what is this?” He asked with genuine surprise. You told him you wanted nothing more than to be his partner both on and off the ring. That standing by his side has given you new feelings too, and most of all… he was your star that gave you hope again. He was absolutely speechless. You were worried you broke him in some way until he shook it off. “No, I won’t…” He grunted. “I won’t freak out again! I need to keep on being your star after all! You need to keep looking up to me and I don’t want to lose that trust you’ve put in me. Daisuke got as close as he could to you and held your hand all the while the sun began to rise. “From now on, we’re a tag team duo! I’ll keep the solo flying to a minimum, just for you. Not just because I’m your star, but well… you’re MY star too.”
Tsathoggua
~Having his minions open the door for him, Tsathoggua stepped out. He stretched and yawned as though he had just woken up from a trademark nap. “Eh? What are you doing up so early?” You quickly spun this around and told him he was just up too late. “Not really. When you play MMO’s sometimes you just have to be ready for the long haul, so I’ve trained myself to be up as late or early as possible. But, I guess I can’t do that anymore…” He seemed downtrodden by this fact and you asked him why he looked so upset. “Hakumen says that with the walls around town gone, we’re gonna start getting more and more guests at the Casino. And with such a large number of guests coming she said she might make me start working. Can you believe it!?” Well, it wasn’t that far fetched necessarily… “Seriously, me!? Do I look like the host type to you!?” You did tell him he was still courteous to whoever visited him and that no matter what he always went out of his way for you. “W-Well… I tend to make exceptions… Guess I got no choice now, sadly. I might as well try getting in a slightly better shape… you think they make any good fitness games?” The two of you pondered video game ideas while under the gentle gaze of the stars.
~Which reminded you to ask how Tsath felt about the walls. “There’s tons of games I can get express delivered now.” He put plainly. “I’ve always wanted to try the games they have overseas, cuz while we have plenty of good ones over here there have been rumors saying the games in the west are so different. I want to play em all.” An… admirable goal if nothing else. “…Thanks…” He murmured while looking away bashfully. You noticed his distress and asked him what was wrong. He remained silent about it for a moment before finally answering with another question. “…How many co-op games do you think have been made?” The question confused you, but with so many people in Tokyo alone there had to have been a good number. “That’s… good. Maybe… we could play some of them together sometime? If you have the time for it that is…” You said his name, completely taken off guard  with the question. “Aaaaaaah…” He groaned out. “No amount of Visual Novels have prepared me for this…! Not even the hardest difficulty quests made me this nervous! Are there seriously no guides for this kind of stuff!?” He cursed to himself. You were starting to get an idea and realized what he was trying to say. So as a response you handed him a precious treasure.
~“A-A ring already!?” He gasped in shock. “H-Hold on, I don’t think I’m quite the guy for that stuff so fast! And- oh? A… A promise ring?” Tsathoggua seemed to relax at your explanation. “That makes more sense, ehe… um. C-Can I… hold your hand? I… I don’t think I know how to right now…” You took Tsath’s hand in yours as the sun came up and you both finally looked up at it together. “Is this… what you call a good ending? Or maybe it’s the start of the sequel? Either way, I’m glad it’s with you.”
Someone who deserves more credit
~“W-Why are you so surprised!? Don’t give me that look!” Li Cho barked at you. “Gimme a bit a credit, will ya!?” You apologized and asked why he came up to the roof. “I-It helps me think. I didn’t think you’d be the type to be so suspicious.” He huffed and you sighed. You told him to give you some credit and offered a spot with you to stargaze. “Sure. I’ll scare that loneliness away for ya!” You played along and pretended to be afraid of the man-eating tiger scaring away people. “H-Hey!” He snapped, face blushing furiously. “I can be super scary for real! Don’t joke about those things…” He seemed more embarrassed than angry so you agreed to keep the teasing to a minimum. “Thanks. Actually, now that I have an audience what say I serenade you with some of my lovely words, hmm~?” You responded dryly by saying just reading them would be enough. “Heh, is my musical talent too much for you to handle then?” What musical talent? “That’s just cold!” After getting all the snarky remarks out of each others system, he did read you poetry that he wrote himself and with the atmosphere you couldn’t help but be swept away by the imagery.
~Once he had finished indulging himself by showing off his poetry, he took a deep breath. “S-So, it was awesome… right?” You told him it was very good. “Just good, eh?” He chuckled. “Y’know, I did write all these before the walls around us came crumblin’ down. So maybe that’s why they don’t sound as good? But, that’s just me making up excuses and not fixing the damn things…” You told him there was no rush now that you all weren’t operating on a time crunch anymore. “S-Sure, but I still gotta take care of student council work alongside my studies. So it’s definitely gonna be hard to find the time right now.” You reassured him that you’d both be able to make it work. “Heh, I guess.” It then hit him. “Wait, us?” That’s when you dropped the facade and handed him the ring.
~“Y-You’re just messin’ with me right? P-Please say you’re just playin’ around!” He seemed panicked. “There’s no way I can do this!” You asked if this wasn’t what he wanted. “O-Of course I want it!” Li Cho replied. “There’s just… no way you’d ever want a beast like me…” His tough guy act seemed to crack just a bit. “There’s no telling when I’m prone to snap or lose myself completely. I… I don’t want to hurt you if that happens…” Then what was stopping him from not doing it? “Eh?” He was still him under all that fur. No amount of appearances could change what was inside. “Inside, huh?” He pondered this for a moment. “I get it… Fine then.” Li Cho pulled you close to him and nuzzled your neck as the morning light came to view. You told him that Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, but bears it out even to the edge of doom. “Heh… since when did ya become such a poetry buff…? Did you really memorize that just for me? Maybe… Maybe I won’t lose myself if I have you there… I want to rewrite our lives.”
HorkeuKamui
~“My Hero, you’ve done it.” Kamui praised you as he quickly joined you on the roof. “Not only have you completed your own goals of saving all your friends, you’ve also torn down all the walls between the people and have found a way for so many to connect.” You said while that was true there was still a lot you wouldn’t know. Would the rest of the world be so accepting of everyone from Tokyo? Besides, it was only thanks to everyone working together that you accomplished these things. “Very true, indeed. However, you are the individual responsible for bringing such individuals together. That alone is worthy of some praise. I’m proud to have you as my Hero.” You asked him to dial back the praise since you were starting to get flustered. “My apologies. It’s just… you’ve done what many others considered to be impossible. That alone has my admiration and joy.” You thanked him again but still couldn’t shake your flustered emotions. As a way to relax Kamui agreed to watch the stars with you, which was certainly relaxing.
~After a while, Kamui seemed lost in thoughts. His look went from glad to pensive. You took notice and asked him what was wrong. “While I am glad that we have reached such a point in time, I can’t help but feel a little… lost.” He admitted. “With so many content, is there even a reason to call you my Hero now? Is there a purpose for a Hero’s sheath if there is no longer any Hero? If not, then where does one such as myself go? I’ve dedicated my whole existence to raising a Hero properly that I have not realized if I had succeeded… what’s left? Can I even continue, knowing that my own selfish pursuit ended so many lives?” You were afraid that you didn’t have all those answers for him. Those were things he’d need to solve on his own. “I’m well aware. But still, I feel fulfilled all the same. I have you to thank for finally satiating my insatiable drive…” While you didn’t have many answers for Kamui, you did have one important question to ask. You handed him something that helped you through the darker times and asked if he’d be willing to stay by your side. As more than a sheath… as HorkeuKamui, the wolf that snatched your heart.
~“Your heart…” Kamui paused for a moment. He smiled realizing what the situation meant. “I see… yes, your heart. With you… I am willing to make such an important oath. Not only will I treasure your heart…” The wolf pulled you into a gentle embrace and gently stroked your hair as the sun began to rise, signifying the start of something wonderful. “I will safeguard it with my life. Not only that, but I also wish to entrust you with my own. After all, I have nothing but boundless love for you… My Dear.”
Wakan Tanka
~“There you are, my friend.” Wakan Tanka greeted you with relief. You returned his greeting and asked if he had been searching for you. “Yes, actually. I couldn’t help but notice how restless you’ve been as of late so I wanted to make sure you were alright. I’m glad that you’re okay, guess my worry was just overreacting.” You thanked him for his concern. “Yes, but… it’s weird. Why was I so upset in the first place? Maybe I just wanted to look at the sky again…” You asked him if the stars at night helped him relax. “At first, they made me sad… but now, I don’t have a reason to be sad anymore. Would you mind if I saw them with you again?” You told him you’d love that and both watched the stars, reminiscent of that time on the beach…
~“So… this is the end of the road for the game in Tokyo… or rather, it’s the start of a new path for everyone to take…” He pondered aloud. “Seeing everyone talking about the future with such hope makes me happy. Really happy, even. Is it even allowed to be this happy for your friends?” You told him you saw nothing wrong with such joy. “I would agree, but… I can’t help but feel sad… knowing that everyone’s ready to move on and leave behind the place that brought us together in the first place. Would they remember all of the good times we had, or just the bad ones?” There wasn’t a guarantee that all the memories would be happy, but you can give him comfort by offering the idea that the happy ones would win out. “I think you’re right.” He seemed a bit sullen still. “For a long while, I would remember the sky in my world. I always thought it was beautiful and made everyone glad they saw it. All but them. They would stare at the sky with such sadness in their eyes, and I couldn’t help but feel sad too… but, looking at the sky now. Maybe it wasn’t sadness… maybe it was their own happiness that made them cry?” There was no way to know for sure now. “Yeah. That person is no longer with us. Instead I have someone who brings me both immense joy and sorrow.” Really, who? “You, of course.” He put bluntly. You were shocked by Wakan’s bold claim. “You make me feel more things I would never have hoped to dream. I don’t understand all these feelings you give me… One moment I’m sad about you, but then you go and make me extremely happy. Then all I can think about is being next to you and… I just turn into a mess of feelings!” You just told him that’s how love works as you handed him a sign of your love.
~“Love…” Wakan asked. “Is that really all there is? A word so simple could have such a chaotic feeling?” You nodded. “…Hey, can I see your hand for a moment?” You gave him your hand as he clasped it with both of his, with him now wearing the ring you gave him and his warm smile making the rising sun shine that much brighter. “I promise from now on that neither road we walk will be lonely. I promise to share this burden and blessing of life that we live. And I also promise… to show you just what my love is capable of doing. I promise to you that it can open a path where we can both be equals, side by side in the same direction. Only… if you’ll let me walk beside you til we pass on to the next…”
If not, then who?
~Weirdly, no one came through the door. You could have sworn you heard something. “Geez Master, do none of your friends really care about us!?” You jumped in surprise as Salomon now stood beside you. You quickly asked what he was doing here. “Master, how come you’re always so mean to me!?” You didn’t mean it like that! You thought that he might’ve… “I told you I’d always be with you! I don’t wanna leave you, Master!” Salomon cried. “I was scared… but, it was almost like taking a nap… I think? I dunno any more than you do! I just… I’m happy to be able to see you again.” You shared in that sentiment and wondered when the last time you two had spent a night together like this. “Too long!”
~“But seriously, does no one care about you this late?” You told him that wasn’t it. “Oh? Ooh, Master. You sly fox. Perhaps you’ve strung together one too many hearts instead of no one at all?” You couldn’t deny the number of people captivated by you, but you were positive there was more to it. “Sure, sure. Though you try to keep cool, deep down I know how passionate you truly are. I always knew one wouldn’t be enough. You’re just too wild.” You asked him to stop or someone might hear. “Heh, I know…” He gave you a cheeky grin. “You just make the cutest expressions sometimes, Master. I couldn’t help but tease you a little~.” Despite all the teasing, you did miss him. You felt it was an appropriate time to give that back…
~“Oh, this?” He pondered. “It… It’s worthless to either of us honestly. I let you keep it as a way to remember me. But now that I’m here it almost seems wasted…” Not entirely. You could use it to make an everlasting vow to trust in Sal more from now on. And… and to promise to keep him close. You don’t want him going anywhere without you from now on. “Oh Master…” The sun began to rise as Sal brought his head to rest on his arm and smiled at you mid air. “Sometimes you take even me by surprise. Still, that’s what I like so much about you. All that there is to do is ask: Where to next?”
~~~
So yes, as of this moment onward I can finally feel confident releasing projects involving Li Cho. I know not everyone will like it and it hasn’t felt that long since i made that post saying i wouldn’t. But I feel I’d be doing a disservice to Housamo’s main message if I kept that sort of content ban up for any longer. Thank you all for being so patient with my while I made this and worked up the courage to finally post Li Cho content.
The Moment I Knew
Hey! This is the first thing I’m going to be posting. This is for any female readers, with no description. There is no name for your MALE s/o or friends. So if you wanted a Tom Holland x reader or Tony Stark x reader, or whoever you want. It is NOT in chronological order for the memory bits, just warning you. I did my best to base it off of the song by Taylor Swift and I’m quite happy with what I created. Hope you like it <3
Pairing: anyone x reader
Summary: y/n’s boyfriend was never on time and barely showed up when he was supposed to. It became a constant thing, that it started to hurt when he went back on his word.
Warnings: a lil bit of swearing, quite a bit of angst, crying, disappointment
Word Count: 3,458
Song Inspiration: The Moment I Knew, Taylor Swift
Note: Italics = memories, Bold = song lyrics
youtube
y/n had checked her phone one last time, as the last few guests walked through her door. a quick look and there was no sign of him. instead of showing her disappointment, she smiled and greeted the others, leaving her phone on the counter as she started to mingle with her guests. after all they were here for her, so she might as well put on a happy face and wait.
her smile was forced as she caught up with old friends. she was tempted to pick up her phone and look for any messages that would have her heart leap into her throat from seeing his name on her screen. but she resisted because of his silly smile on her lock screen would have her giddy and her heart would ache with no reply from him. y/n didn’t want too much heartbreak on today of all days.
You should've been there
Should've burst through the door
With that "Baby, I'm right here" smile
y/n was waiting for him to meet her at the park. she had to wait for half an hour until he responded, saying he got caught up in practicing his guitar. she tore her attention from her phone as she looked around the park for any sign of him. her breath hitched in her throat as she met his warm eyes. his hair was tousled as he ran another hand through it, walking straight to y/n. a small smile graced his lips, embracing her in a warm and tight hug that made her heart leap into her throat.
“hey.” he said softly, slowly pulling from the hug.
“hey.” her voice was quiet and small, still recovering from hugging him. he always had that starstruck effect on her, even after all these years of knowing each other.
“i’m sorry i was late, it is inexcusable and i kept you waiting. i get so distracted that it’s sometimes hard to pull my attention away from things.” he apologized quickly, his arms still around her, but there was distance. distance that y/n wanted to close because he was so warm and comforting.
“it’s fine. i’m just happy you’re here.” she replied, a soft smile gracing her lips as he kissed her cheek softly.
“well, where would you like to stroll, miss?” his voice mocking a posh british butler’s with his chin up, a mischievous glint in his eyes. her smile was brighter than the stars that were above them as they did their weekly nighttime stroll.
And it would've felt like
A million little shining stars had just aligned
And I would've been so happy
y/n and her friends all had different colors on their faces, reflected from the christmas lights hung around the house. she turned away from the group, saying she needed another glass of champagne and offered to get anyone else a refill. she headed towards the kitchen, facing away from the front door as she poured more champagne into the glasses.
a small sigh escaped her red painted lips, as she looked over at the front door with the porch light on. just waiting for someone to walk through. the sky turned into a beautiful sunset, nearly time for dinner. and no sign of him. so she headed back to the group, trying to force the ball of hurt in her chest to disappear as the night carried on.
Christmas lights glisten
I've got my eye on the door
Just waiting for you to walk in
But the time is ticking
“you know how next week is my birthday right?” y/n asked, looking up from her book to the man on the other side of the couch. he glanced over, nodding with little attention towards her. she moved her legs from his lap and crawled towards him. “are you going to come over early?”
“i don’t think i will. i have to finish up a few things for work, but i should be there.” he responded, a small frown on his face.
she ignored the stab towards her heart, from him going back on his word but focused on the positive. “just as long as you come.”
“i will be there, y/n. don’t worry.”
a reassuring smile in her direction, had the two of them back to focusing on their own things and the topic dropped with no worries.
People ask me how I've been
As I comb back through my memory
How you said you'd be here
You said you'd be here
there were only a few decorations around her house, with a small tree in the middle of her living room. it had just been decorated earlier in the day, after y/n had tried waiting for him to show up earlier. like he said he would. she shook away the disappointment and called her friends to dinner.
y/n watched her friends, standing in her red dress and matching red lipstick. she realized that her dress didn’t have the purpose she wanted with the people who had shown up. she wanted to impress him tonight. to make him as starstruck as she always is around him. turns out it wasn’t going to go as planned.
And it was like slow motion
Standing there in my party dress
In red lipstick
With no one to impress
“come on, y/n. let’s go together. just forget about him and the whole male species.” an old childhood friend said, pulling her towards the small gathering of old friends.
“i really don’t want to. he will explain why he didn’t show up or reply to my messages. he isn’t as technology based as we are.” y/n defended him quickly. an upsetting feeling landed in the pit of her stomach as she started to dwell on the possibilities of why he wasn’t responding.
“just have some fun for a few hours, and then you can go back to moping about him.” the friend replied and y/n decided the best way for them to get off her case was to just agree with no complaints. so she made her way inside, the cool air of the AC running, relieved her of the hot from the summer air outside.
within a few hours the small group of old friends were laughing together, y/n feeling like she was the black sheep of the group. every time her phone buzzed, she quickly looked to see if it was him, but it resulted in just a social media notification which was irrelevant to her. she looked around the room, her heart aching for the man who was missing.
And they're all laughing
As I'm looking around the room
But there was one thing missing
And that was the moment I knew
an hour or two after dinner, she was busy cleaning up from the recent attempt at beer pong. all of the others were outside on her deck, chatting and enjoying the cool night air. she wanted to have the rest of the night alone to mope around and cry, but didn’t want to kick out her friends for her own selfish reason. after cleaning the dining room table and the kitchen, she was about to finish drying the last dish, when she dropped the glass.
the sound of glass breaking was heard through the house, followed by a shriek. a few of her friends, who were his friends first, came to see what had happened and found her holding back tears as she swept up the mess.
And the hours pass by
Now I just wanna be alone
“meet some of my closest friends, sweetheart.” he had taken her for a kayaking trip, inviting his close friends to join. he had already met her close friends so it was about time she met his. not to mention they had started to date only a few weeks ago, so he thought that if the relationship was going to have a future, his friends would help determine it.
a shy smile graced her lips as she introduced herself and they introduced themselves. and within a few minutes they were laughing and joking like old friends, and y/n couldn’t help the feeling of her heart swelling with happiness.
after their kayaking adventure, which had nearly all of them fall into the lake at least 3 times, y/n decided to ride along with her newfound friends since he had to head home then straight to work and she had ridden in his car. she was quiet during the car ride, tipping the kayak was more work than it should’ve been. the others were talking about her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriends and ex-flings, joking around about them. one of the friends sat beside her, looked over and saw the tears threatening to fall.
“hey! stop with all that now. it isn’t funny for her, alright?” a small ‘thank-you’ smile was all she had to give to them to show them that she was grateful that they understood. some people don’t.
But your close friends always seem to know
When there's something really wrong
y/n finished cleaning the glass from the floor, ignoring the questions and proceeded on rushing down the hall towards the bathroom. she leaned against the sink, trying to reassure herself. she tried holding back her tears, letting out small hiccups and her breath catching each time.
it was silly. she was getting overworked because of a small glass breaking that had no significance towards him or her heartbreak occurring. yet something about that glass breaking caused her to feel like there was a crushing weight on her heart, threatening to crush it even more. she started to overthink, blocking out everything else which meant that she didn’t hear the footsteps of his friends that had followed her.
tears threatened to spill and she silently cursed herself for not using waterproof makeup. but in the end it didn’t matter because the sinking feeling of being nothing to someone started to whirl in her stomach again as she said 5 words in a broken voice.
“he said he’d be here.”
So they follow me down the hall
And there in the bathroom
I try not to fall apart
And the sinking feeling starts
As I say hopelessly
"He said he'd be here"
“what the hell?! you said you would be at the party yesterday and you didn’t show up!” y/n yelled at the man who casually was lounging on the couch. his eyebrow raised and a hand came up to run through his hair.
“i’m sorry. i was just-”
“busy. yeah i know. but you should know that small things like showing up or communicating if you are going to show up or not, matters to me! and it should matter to you as well.” she said, tears slowly falling from being disappointed once again by him.
“let me make it up for you.” his voice softening, standing up from the couch and making his way towards her.
“no.” she held her hand out towards him to stop him from coming any closer. her makeup ruined from her tears, dropping on her dress. “get out. i don’t want to see you right now. and you are not going to be able to make up for this with sex. i don’t want your damn body, i want you to show up and stay. and since that’s too hard for you then i want you to do what you’re best at and leave.”
a sigh was heard, her head down as he gave a quick kiss on the top of her head. “i’ll text you tomorrow.” he told her right before he closed the front door. once she heard his car leave her driveway, she broke down and fell onto the ground.
tears streaming down her face as she tried rubbing them away, resulting in her hand stained with mascara and red lipstick. She had no idea why he never showed up when he was supposed to. he seemed so perfect at the beginning, sure showing up late was a bit of a flaw, but at least in the beginning he had texted her about why he showed up late.
he was a package deal of happiness and disappointment.
And it was like slow motion
one of her friends, grabbed her and embraced her in a much needed hug. and that was when she broke down all the way from trying to keep it inside for such a long time. her loud sobs caused her other friends to follow the noise, still laughing until they saw her crying. it didn’t stop them from asking about him. about why he wasn’t the one hugging y/n, where he was, what he was doing nowadays, why he was missing from the party, why he was missing from her life so much. it hurt hearing the whispers over her loud sobs about how they were never going to work in the end anyway.
 “i-i just need a little time to calm down. i’m sorry. we ar-are going to have cake once i compose myself. c-can you guys please get it all ready for me, please?” she asked, trying to control herself from bursting out into tears as she wiped them away. they nodded, giving her reassuring but also pitying looks towards her as they left.
And they're all laughing
And asking me about you
But there was one thing missing (missing, missing)
And that was the moment I knew
she was crying behind the door that led to all of the guests at her parents’ house. a strangled sob forced its way out, as she held the back of the chair, trying to control herself before she approached the guests. but her thoughts running through her head made it harder and harder to compose herself and had her breakdown even more. her head was heavy and her eyes were droopy as she cried, her weight against the wall with one of her hands still clutching the back of the chair as the other one was covering her mouth. she didn’t want to be seen as broken and vulnerable to her extended family and she wanted to stop crying. but it was just so hard.
the door opened, her cousin’s face being the first to be seen until the door was opened wider and the rest of the family was there, staring at the crying y/n who was absolutely mortified to be found in such a vulnerable position. the pity from their faces was clear, they all knew the cause of her pain. and that she would never learn quick enough about when to stop before she was ruined.
What do you say, when tears are streaming down your face
In front of everyone you know?
y/n calmed herself down within a few minutes, wiping away the smudged makeup and telling herself to be brave and be strong. she slowly opened the bathroom door, walking down the hall slowly. she was scared that they would judge her. and that was when his voice appeared in her head and a memory overtook her thoughts.
And what do you do when the one who means the most to you
Is the one who didn't show?
“what if they hate me?” she asked, right before meeting his family. it was an official meeting, at their new years eve party, and this was the next step they decided on.
“then we elope when we want to get married.” he joked and her hand squeezed his tightly, making him wince. “calm down, sweetheart. they’ll love you. or at least like you. i dunno about my cousin though, he’s a tricky one to impress. but then again, your knowledge of completely random and irrelevant things will come in handy when trying to impress him. in fact, you will probably be his favorite one.”
a reassuring smile towards her made her heart soar above the clouds. then when he turned back to the road, she started to overthink again and tried to analyze everything that would happen.
“but i don’t want them to just like me. i want them to love me. is that too much to ask? yeah probably. after all, i’m not the smartest, nor prettiest, nor nicest person anyone will ever meet. not to mention i’m a bit clumsy when i get nervous. what if i spill red wine on your mom’s favorite couch or your dad’s dress shirt? or even the rug? or something white?! there are about a million things that could go wrong at this party alone!” she rambled on about the possibilities, not realizing he was grinning ear-to-ear about her nervousness. he pulled into the driveway of his childhood home and turned towards her, intertwining their hands.
“it doesn’t matter if they like you or not. because nothing they will say will make me upset and leave you. i love you too much for that. maybe to them you aren’t the smartest, nor prettiest, nor nicest, but you are you and that’s better than anything else… okay that didn’t really make sense, but what i’m trying to say is that being yourself is perfectly fine. you aren’t perfect but you’re you and it’s a good thing too. because i would not want to date steve jobs. if you’re this nervous about a party, which is your actual element, then repeat after me. i am brave.” he nodded for her to repeat.
“i am brave.” she said timidly.
“i am strong.”
“i am strong.”
“i am smart.”
“i am smart.” at this point, a smile broke out on her face.
“i am beautiful.”
“i am beautiful.”
“i am okay and i will stop overthinking so i can live in the moment.”
this made both of them let out a small laugh, smiles wide across both of their faces. “i am okay and-”
You should've been here
And I would've been so happy
And it was like slow motion
“and i will stop overthinking so i can live in the moment.” y/n muttered under her breath as she turned the corner. the only light being the candles on her birthday cake that was on the counter. a wide, genuine smile was on her face at the sight of the cake. then they started to all sing to her, not the best, nor the prettiest, nor award winning, but it was brilliant. because it showed that they cared.
“make a wish, y/n.” someone called once they finished. closing her eyes, she thought of the one thing she wanted out of anything and she blew out the candles. a loud cheer erupted from everyone. someone started to cut the cake into pieces as the others gathered around her and gave her birthday wishes and hugs.
"Happy birthday to you"
“we need to talk.”
But there was one thing missing
“please, just listen to me!”
And that was the moment I knew
“it really hurts and i want it to stop. so please make it stop.”
Ooh, I knew
“i’m so sorry. i never wanted to hurt you so i will stop…”
“please don’t leave me!”
Ooh
once everyone had cake and ice cream, they slowly left y/n’s house one by one. it was finally a peaceful night, being alone. she changed out of her party dress, slipping into her pjs and wiping away any remaining makeup from her face. after making a bag of popcorn and slipping under her covers, she decided to look at her phone. finally, after ignoring it for half of the night.
a scoff came out of her mouth when she read the text message on her screen from him.
i’m sorry, i didn’t make it. he had sent it just 20 minutes ago
y/n thought about sending him a large paragraph saying how he manages to break her heart at the smallest things and how he never shows up. but she was done caring for the day. she was done worrying an wasting all of her thoughts about him and getting anxious when he never replied. her feelings would probably change in the morning and she would send the paragraph about her feelings, but right in the moment she wasn’t going to open up to him. she’s done it too much before, so in the moment currently, she sent 3 words instead. i’m sorry too
You called me later
And said, "I'm sorry, I didn't make it"
And I said, "I'm sorry too"
And that was the moment I knew
