I randomly had a thought on "Hey, I wonder what will happen if Dazzle were to ever meet the other (named) kids who disappeared in July 16th?" And then I realized I'm an artist so :D

(I personally made all their designs as different as I could just to test my drawing skills—ESPECIALLY when it comes to animals because I suck at drawin em)

[SMALL HCS + LORE AND DESIGN MEANINGS]:

Evelyn/Dazzle: last to go that day — added bracelets that represented the others (Jack, Sun and herself //given by Jack//) — has a stripped leg warmer similar to Sun's pants + more freckles — sunflower design her clothing rather than just the pouch

Jamie: represents her shy behavior/always hiding away somewhere when met with interaction + now she can hide anywhere easily — has her one remaining organ stuck with her — James's older twin sister

James: sleeps a lot so one eye + he doesnt even know "Sun" did it, mf was sleeping the entire time — the parts where his body parts is cut is where he was chopped, and the ghost like effects are the body parts that were never found (/head and legs) — scared of snakes (or reptiles in general) + never liked Monty because of said fear

Huey: his easily crying nature is the opposite of his animatronic body (a kangaroo as they are known for strength) — tucked in hair in scarf as if to "hide" — droopy ears because hes always sad (ever since the incident) :(

Jackie: "noodle" arms because her arms were chopped off — was a very optimistic person before she disappeared, now shes so silent — her pattern represents her vitiligo (yey wholesome!!) — she is afraid of ghosts (imagine her horror when she turned into one...)

Howei: I like to think that hes the eldest among them—12 Y/O to be exact, and tried protecting all of them + very much HATES Sun — wont let the other move on until Evelyn joins them — is kinda the leader so I made him into a dragon — hes just a kid still that didnt really know what happened that night.

The reason why Huey and Jackie are animatronics are because their souls entered recently scrapped animatronics as soon as the animatronics were thrown away (creator of said animatronics are unknown). They take care of their new bodies a lot to prevent it from damaging further.

The kids thankfully dont have to recharge or worry about hungry since theyre ghost and/or animatronics.

Fun fact: James's design was actually made months prior all the way back in 2024's August. He was initially Moons ghost child and I may actually keep this piece of lore, who knows??

Traintober Day 24 - Accepting

It is now midday in the moderately busy city of Siófok. Since the morning rush hour, the city has considerably quieted down, the only noise being that of the trains, buses and birds passing by. It's during these mostly silent moments that Hektor's thoughts wander. His brethren... the lines they worked on... The happy faces of passengers and the recipient of whatever goods they happened to pull... The little tank engine almost feels... Homesick.

But he is home. Right next to the station where he once whistled with joy as he came to a stop, dropping off those smiling people. But that was years ago, and now... He's merely a footnote on Wikipedia and a few photos on Google.

As the rusty tank engine wallows in his self-pity, he spots... Someone, pointing at him? Smiling? It's a little kid, with his parents. "Gőzös! Gőzös!" the child beams with a toothy grin on his chubby face as he runs up to Hektor. His parents take a few photos of the boy with the engine before they continue on with their day, all giggles and smiles.

And it's those little kids, so eager and excited, that give Hektor the tiniest bit of hope that maybe one day... One day he can return to his former glory. Even if only on the outside. But for now, if he can bring a smile to just one kid's face every now and then, he's content to stay as is.
