If Vash had been there, he would have given a speech about bringing love and peace to the downtrodden. But Vash was gone, not even a body left to bury, and there was no meaning to be found. He stared up at the suns, the light burning his retinas even through his sunglasses. There was no higher power, no life after death. Just this barren rock of a planet and its infinite physical tortures. “It's hot out here,” he said, because of that at least he was certain. Wolfwood grieves for Vash.

Let me set the stage. Credit to @viviarts-c for the original idea, and then I fleshed it out the rest of the way! If viviarts-c would be so kind, I'd be most happy to write this out on AO3, when I get the chance!

Titanic

Lucifer is still the king of Hell in this, but he decided to just spend some time on earth. This is shortly after Lilith left with Charlie, so he just needed some time to himself. Lucifer chose to possess the body of a young man who's arranged to marry Vox.

Alastor is still a serial killer, more like an assassin. He is there in search of Vox, who is his target. He finds Lucifer trying to go back to Hell that evening, as he realizes that the massive ship is doomed and didn't want to be there for the chaos.

Possible twist...maybe instead of wanting to go back to Hell, lucifer was just hanging off the side of the boat from morbid curiosity. He is the King of Hell, after all. He's not aware of what will happen, at least, not until a few days in, but by that time, he just wanted to spend time with Alastor.

Alastor is seeking out the potential spouse of Vox, finding him on the edge. Convincing him was relatively easy- easier than he was expecting, to work with him to eliminate Vox. Lucifer agrees.

They began to spend time together, learning things and learning each other. Alastor promised that he would entertain Lucifer in exchange for assistance with the assassination. So they spend time together

The scene in the old times car, but it's biting and blood consumption instead cuz Alastor is still a cannibal.

Lucifer introduces Alastor to 'his family'. Afterall, he's still gotta act like he is the man whom he possessed.

They dance in stern! And meet Alastor's best friend Rosie!

The night of the iceberg, Alastor goes to kill Vox. Vox had been tipped off

Vox manages to just barely evade death, handcuffing Alastor to a wall as the ship sinks

Lucifer follows the energy Alastor gives off, the fear, and rescues him

They fight to the surface, and Lucifer tries to get Alastor to leave with everyone else, but Alastor jumps back into the Titanic. He fell in love with Lucifer and doesn't want to leave him.

Lucifer thinks he's an idiot, especially considering who Luci really is, but it doesn't matter. They get to the front of the ship where they met, and fight to stay alive. Lucifer and Alastor end up in the water, and Alastor sacrifices himself for Lucifer on the floating door.

Alastor dies and goes to Hell. Lucifer gives up his possession of the soul he was in, and travels to Hell. There, he meets Alastor one more, and the truth comes out.

Possible angst, but overall, a teary reunite! Alastor becomes the other king of hell, and makes a deal with lucifer to boost his power and ability.

The end?
