Plot: Halloween Party Couple Costumes

MAX VERSTAPPEN:

You both went to the party as the characters from Kill Bill, it was one of Max's favorite films and you were excited to dress up as the Bride. Originally you were going to go for the full latex outfit but because Max had a few parties in the same night you'd both be travelling between you had to do a bit of makeshift work.

"You look hot" he says looking over you as you unzip the bright yellow top you had on, just to show off a little more cleavage for him.

"Yeah?" you ask pulling the katana up and holding it in positions being goofy as he took some pictures of you.

"And i think dying your hair blonde ... good shout" he grins running his hands through your freshly dyed blonde locks just so you could pull of this Halloween costume without a wig.

LANDO NORRIS:

You wanted to be funny and go as Gru and Vector ... but no McLaren thought it was too 'silly' and wasn't a 'good image' for Lando as a now championship contender.

So you guys decided as you were only going to a small Quadrant Haloween party that you guys would go lowkey and just try and use as much stuff as you could from home.

Naturally you were both at home when he had the idea of both going as the game characters from Subway Surfers, out of all the games both you and Lando played you didn't expect to go as mobile game characters, something from Valorant or even Tarkov but no here you were with a red beanie, hitched up red underwear under low rise jeans and an empty aerosol can.

"Cant believe you convinced me into this" you shake your head, knowing all the girls there would be going as either really hot people or would be very funny like you'd intended ... but at least you were with Lando and you guys both couldn't escape the costume police you knew would be at the party.

"You love me babe now come on lets go jump some trains"

OSCAR PIASTRI:

When Oscar had met you when he first came to England you made of point of forcing him to binge your comfort show, Peaky Blinders with you which led to this years Halloween costume for the both of you.

While Oscar was the gentleman and got his outfit as show accurate as possible you took the hot slant on it despite having a shirt, waistcoat and jacket covering up the majority of your upper body leaving your legs to do all the hot girl work.

"We look good" Oscar smiled looking at you guys in the long full length mirror in your apartment as you guys were about to leave.

"You're right we do" you smile reaching up to kiss his cheek forgetting the bright red lipstick that was covering your lips.

"AH AH. Let them dry first" he says putting his finger on one showing the stain.

When you got to Logan's party you were met with such a different vibe. You and Oscar had decided to stay in America for Halloween which was a good choice as they were crazy for any kind of holiday celebration.

"Will anyone here know who we are?" you ask wondering if you're costume was too niche.

"Lets hope they don't, quick and easy conversations so we don't look rude and unimpressed" he kisses the side of you head, knowing how introverted you both are/

CARLOS SAINZ:

Of course you had to go as young Morticia and Gomez Addams. It was something you knew for a fact Carlos would look incredible in and you had the perfect features to pull of Morticia.

You guys were attending a Halloween Party that actually had a lot of the drivers at, it was in a club that had invited you all as a brand deal with F1 and you guys all didn't really have an excuse not to go.

You guys got an uber, which is a strange experience when you have a boyfriend who drives for a living.

So many of the other wags were there and a costume competition had been held which you and Carlos had ended up winning, you think Lando most defiantly forged the votes but you couldn't deny that you and Carlos looked like you both put the most amount off effort in.

CHARLES LECLERC:

Charles didn't ever really understand the hype for spooky season, enjoying other more family oriented holidays more such as Christmas or even birthdays.

But when you said that your sister was hosting a small party (that of course ended up being not so small at all) that she was dying for you to make an appearance at you had to go despite the late notice.

So there you guys were two days before ironing patches to blue and red tops you'd brought from the most accessible shops in Monaco and because you were bringing Charles and you wanted to match but with the lack of time options were thin.

So of course doing a really bad attempt at Sally and Lightening McQueen was the option Charles decided on and everyone at the party found you guys so funny especially once they realised who Charles was as a famous racing driver.

To say despite the 5 minute crafts outfit you guys put together you were everyone's choice of conversation both at the party and after.

YUKI TSUNODA:

Chef Linguine, absolutely not Chef Tsunoda and you as his Remi. It meant you got to dress up as a sexy mouse while Yuki could live his dreams of being a chef, dressing up in the whole outfit that you were surprised to see he just had in his closest already.

"You look like a cute mouse" he smiles looking over the white corset and sort grey skirt you'd opted for.

"Do i make a good Remi?" you ask sweetly and he nods.

"I still don't get why you didn't go as Collette" he sighs, thinking it would be odd for him to kiss you tonight when this was your outfit.

"Because canonically Collette is a better chef than Linguine because actually Linguine cannot cook without the rats help ... so I'm still not sure why i went as the rat. Maybe i should have gone as Chef Skinner" you groan now overthinking the whole costume.

FRANCO COLAPINTO:

Franco's nickname for you was 'princesa' so of course you going as one of the Disney Princesses made sense however when he said you guys should do Flynn Ryder and Rapunzel you almost lost your shit.

You were going to suggest the little mermaid as you'd love to see him in Prince Eric's soft pirate outfit but the Flynn outfit was just as exciting and you of course looked great in purple and could use your naturally blonde hair.

"Are you ready my Princesa?" he asks from the bottom of the stairs. You were expecting to turn round the corner with a soft graceful smile to see HIM awestruck at your costume.

Unfortunately god had other plans and it was you who was gobsmacked at your incredibly sexy boyfriend.

"Fuckkkkk Francoooo. Lets skip the party" you say running down the stairs to grip onto his arm.

FERNANDO ALONSO:

As an older couple on the grid who still loved a party and having fun you and Fernando decided old school was the best way forward. And for Fernando seeing you in sexy leather pants and a tight black top he was all but happy to keep pulling you away for sneaky kisses once you'd got to the club.

Nando was normally very ... sexually driven but this outfit of yours had turned him into some kind of beast and you were not complaining.

Especially when you guys got home that night.

ESTEBAN OCON:

Being the Marvel nerd that he was he'd asked if he could do Deadpool and you do Wolverine, which you did want to at first but when you couldn't find the right hairstyle and decided the outfit just didn't look good this year it fell through to be picked up another year.

Which is where his next idea came in, you'd both decided to go as Spiderman's he'd worn some grey joggers with him as the suit was pretty tight on him and he didn't want anything to come out in the media however you took the Spiderman look the whole way and for the whole night Estaban had to stay close to you warding off all the other guys who were watching you with what he explained to you as 'fuck me' eyes.

Preview: A look into the guilty-pleasure games the boys would have on their phones and what they would generally what is in their phone.

XAVIER

“Yeah I play them every once in a while.” The blond boy lifted his phone screen up, directing it to your face and it revealed the home page. Of course he would have your FACE ID registered into his phone. He is a man of privacy most of the time so having his phone to be locked is mostly to restrict strangers from accessing his phone. His phone applications are neatly arranged into folders, he has a lot of them, separated and boxed away according to their usage. Useless Apps, Useful Apps, Socials and Games. These are about the amount of folders he would have on his home page, featuring a silhouette picture of you staring off into the dark of the night, admiring the moon and basking under its silvery light. That picture of you is one of his favourites out of the other pictures he has of you in his photo album. “You can try playing this.” He pretty much has all of the classic games one could think of in his Games folder. Subway surfers, Temple Run, Angry Birds, Minecraft and many other classics.

You were stunned at the amount of games that the folder holds. It took your around five swipes to reach the end of the folder. When asked with why he has so much games that it filled up more than half of his storage, he flashes you an amused grin. “I spend a lot of my time on my phone if I am alone or not sleeping. So I like to keep myself entertained.” He is the type to watch you play the games on his phone, seemingly entertained by how hard you were trying to beat his score when he himself has worldwide rank of #1 across all games. You are definitely in shock and low-key wondered how long does he actually spend on playing all of these games in order to gain such a rank. When you lost within the first few rounds, you realised you flashing him a frown was a mistake when he said. “It’s hard to gain my score right? My advice is that you can stop trying to beat me and just enjoy the game.”

RAFAYEL

“Oh, finally you want to see if I have any secret contacts of girls stashed away in my phone? It’s gonna be disappointing for you my love.” The artist teases, lips curled into a smirk when he hands you his phone and you familiarly typed in the passcode. The phone clicked and it brought you to the home page, featuring a picture of you and him taken during one of his most recent exhibitions. The both of you stood next to one another, his arms around your waist and posed in front of the huge canvas of abstract art. His phone applications however, are not organised, just like his house most of the time when things gets too busy on his end. As an artist, he always calls it ‘beauty apparent within a mess’. He only owns one game on his phone and it is an RPG dating game. He is so down bad at missing you some times that he had to result to games to suffice his own needs of needing to be around you. The RPG dating game is the typical choice making game that affects the results of the game and he puts in an insane amount of money to make his character look as similar to himself and the crush in the game to be as ornamented as you.

Teasing him about his game choice drives him into a blushing frenzy. Denial at first but eventually succumbing to his own guilty pleasure when you started asking about the character models he had spent an insane amount of time to sculpt in game. “I just wanted to play this game whenever I do not get to spend time with you either it’d be in a different time zone or you’re just busy. A man has his own needs and I see this being a healthy way of missing you without bothering you on a daily basis.” His bashfulness reply made you smiled, for he is a genuine man afterall and he expresses his love to you in the weirdest yet most caring method. “If you see any clothes in the store, you can just buy it so I can get the in-game you to wear it. If they said that I do not have enough gems for the transaction just reload it for me yeah?”

ZAYNE

“Here. You can try and play it if you’d like.” He unlocked his phone with his fingerprint and handed it over to you. He has your fingerprint and Face ID registered into his phone’s security system but since you asked out of the blue, he might as well just do you the favour to unlock the phone for you, as he is a proclaimed gentleman. You asking for what games he has on his phone makes the all-time serious man cracked a thin smile on his lips, fancy seeing you embracing your childlike image. His wallpaper is a picture of you and only you, sat in the middle of a flower field with a smile as bright as the sun that hung above in the clear skies. You remembered this image, it was one of those days where a planned trip was interrupted and so the both of you ended up with spontaneous plans. This specific flower field being one of the result of the spontaneity. His home page is ridiculously minimal, with each page dedicated to specific apps. He has only two games on his phone; Tetris and Sudoku.

You were even surprised he has any games on his phone. When asked for the reason, the doctor who was focused on his paperwork paused for a moment and looked at you with bewildered forest-like orbs. “Such games are researched to be stimulating to one’s brain, it aids in relieving boredom and also exercise it. Statistics has shown that it helps in improving one’s logic sense, problem solving skills and pattern spotting skills. You should try it as you always seemingly can’t use your brain whenever you’re caught up in a situation that requires you to use one. It might teach you that brute force may not be the answer to all.” His strict tone made your gaze narrowed at him, taking his words towards the side of offence. But he does make a point as you are the one that is always going into his office with physical injuries. Furthermore, him spitting facts for educative purposes effectively diminishes your will to rebut him. “I have already taken the liberty to download the games I had mentioned into your phone, perhaps you can play them whenever you are free.”

cannot stop thinking of chat noir having a spam tiktok.

we talk a lot abt lb and cn having official twitter accounts, but imagine chat making a tt where he's not verified and just posts the funniest shit. ppl try to keep it a secret, so if you stumble upon him it's usually by chance.

i can picture him forcing ladybug to make tiktok dances with him, making thirst traps/capcut edit templates of his bugaboo bc he loves her soooo much, taking a video from his pov jumping around paris in 2x speed with subway surfers music in the background, etc etc.

basically the whole miraculous team endorses it except ladybug and is determined to make chat viral (which usually works). rena is always the most eager to make videos w him bc she's so used to acting professional on the ladyblog, so it gives her the chance to loosen up. chaos ensues every time they pump out content together.

chat also enjoys commenting under random videos as most people don't realize it's him until they go to his account. he'll comment "real" under vids trashing him but will go ABSOLUTELY FERAL under any videos trashing ladybug. i'm talking starting full on wars in the comments. he basically comments like duolingo's official tiktok acc (iykyk) and is chronically online, whatever that may mean.

not to mention HIS REPOSTS. they're either super funny or reveal serious chat noir lore. varies from "me when she doesn't want me😍😍😍" and "is it too much to ask for a life as a cat bathing in the sun with belly scratches" to "hearing 'i'm so proud of you' from a man that's not my father🥰🥰" and "how it feels having a father that lives down the hallway but is absent in your life". that typa stuff.

when ladybug eventually stalks his account and finds his reposts she LOSES IT. she doesn't even care that he revealed personal info to his 300k followers because HER KITTY IS IN DISTRESS. AND HE HAS A FATHER. THAT MUST BE STRANGLED. WITH HER YOYO.

but that is a story for another day.

The battery life is hammered thanks to the hours of temple run his siblings play on it whenever he goes home for holidays.

Either that or he’s using one of his sister’s hand-me-downs that’s an iPhone 13. (just like me fr).

The phone’s got a small crack in the screen from when Cheka dropped it but it wasn’t a big deal so Leona never bothered to get it fixed or replaced.

He’s got a leopard print phone case and his wallpaper is a selfie Reggie took with him sleeping and set it on his lock screen that he never bothered to change.

His little sister killed the battery life with her 500 cumulative hours on Roblox and Among Us.

He doesn’t really mind since he doesn’t use his phone more than like 4 times a day.

He sports a Samsung Z Flip5 in lavender. He also has a baby blue phone case with a little seashell on it.

The twins tease him about his cutesy design choice but he shrugs it off since he knows it looks good.

It’s a shame he rarely uses the phone when he’s not going to send emails, do schoolwork and post on the lounge’s social media, though.

He also watches food ASMR videos. His wallpaper is a picture of the sea in the usual daytime lighting.

His phone is in pretty good condition.

Though, he’s got a few spots of soil trapped between his screen protector and the end of his phone case.

There’s only like a single, tiny crack on his screen protector for dropping it on the floor face first when in the Botanical Garden talking to his little plants.

Can’t really blame him since he looks up tutorials when handling new spores. His phone case is transparent with (you guessed it) a pattern of little mushrooms littered on the back.

His wallpaper is a pic of him and Floyd when they were in their first year at NRC. It’s a strangely cute phone for someone as shady as Jade.

When he isn’t tormenting people with his deadly hugs, he’s sat perched in a corner gargoyle style with his eyes glazed over as he plays Block Blast with a score of 10,000.

Floyd’s pretty diverse with his phone case and he changes it depending on how he feels that day. Most of the time, he goes for his pale green one with an eel drawing on it, like the bag he used during the Camp Vargas event.

His wallpaper is either matching with Jade’s or a random photo of the sea he took a few days ago.

He’s not that bad though, since he gives his old one to his sibling and they pass it on to the next sibling like One For All.

His phone has no cracks on it too. He makes sure to take good care of it since he knows it’s gonna be his younger sibling’s phone in about a year and he doesn’t want them to have to use a broken phone.

He’s just nice like that. His phone case is orange with little peach circles dotted all around the back.

He’s another notorious mobile gamer with his number 1 game being Where’s My Water. His lock screen is a particularly nice-looking spread from one of the many parties he’s had over at his dorm.

When Vil takes away Epel’s phone, I imagine Rook allows Epel to use his phone to play Subway Surfers or Roblox.

Lives risky life and doesn’t use a case or a screen protector.

His phone somehow isn’t shattered especially after the billion times it’s fallen to the ground at the speed of light when he watches people from trees.

Sometimes he stays up until 3 am playing COD mobile with Deuce and hides his phone under his pillow every time Vil opens his door to make sure the first years are asleep.

His wallpaper is a really cute selfie with him and the rest of the first year group. No phone case.

Lilia and co had spent hours looking for him. After that, Lilia got him one of those “my first phone” gadgets for kids where the only contact numbers are emergency services and parents and the “parents” can easily access his location.

That way, they can prevent any accidents that creates their very own “Finding Sebek” franchise.

Mike - Twitter. That boy has Twitter Blue and 95% of his tweets are quote tweets.

Will - Instagram. He follows a lot of art accounts, posts art himself. He wants to do commissions at some point.

Dustin - He is someone who refused to use TikTok until he was convinced into it and the algorithm put him on the nerdy D&D side and now he’s addicted.

Lucas - Lucas isn’t a big doomscroller, he posts stuff occasionally but he’s not the kind of guy to spend hours on his phone. So, audiobooks. Or, Pokemon Go. If people still use that.

What made me smile this week?

Monday, 8/19/24 - today, we chilled for most of the day, and I was standing using our catheter box. During that moment, I fell over and smacked my face on the side of Luz's wheelchair! It made me start dying in laughter! And we just chilled on our tablets and we had a pretty good day in Catheterization wise! Sadly a butter knife almost fell on my foot! Poor my feet! but today's chill day made me smile!

Tuesday, 8/20/24 - we're on our third vitamin gummy! I tried a new flavor it was good! We washed a squish mellow that hadn't been washed for six months lol! It made us start dying in laughter! Then we chilled for the rest of the day. Sadly, our mom had a rough night and was hitting the headboard of her bed. It scared us, but thankfully, she's doing ok! And it didn't make us smile; however, Luz, our friend, had many Catheterizations, like 7 of them, which sucks! But we smiled, heading to bed at 1:00 a.m. Goodnight!.

Wednesday, 8/21/24 - today is my wife's six-month anniversary of living with an SCI! It made me smile! As she has made this far into her journey I am beyond proud of her ❤️! Lots of love to my awesome baba, then we headed to an open house since school is starting on August 26th! Scared yet excited! We went to the Open house, got some of our supplies and lots of papers, and I found out I have a class with my friends!! Hooray 🎉 made me smile! I got to say hi to Mrs Lawson!! Which is good! We got home and tried on my green button-up shirt for senior pictures!! September 3rd anxious yet excited! Made me smile! At the beginning of the day, I had my 38th round of chemotherapy! Thankfully, no symptoms. It made me smile!

Thursday, 8/22/24 - we chilled most of the day and played Subway Surfers for most of the day. We had a fun time hanging out with friends. It was a fun but chill day! Sadly, our friend Luz had a meltdown, and the other Luz kept having tic attacks and seizures! That didn't make me smile but the nice day certainly made me smile!

Friday, 8/23/24 - today I woke up around 7:48 Am! Which is early, and I woke up around 4:00 Am, but considering the time, I did not want to start my day just yet, lol! We chilled on Subway Surfers until Big Donny got a jackpot!! On his tablet! Which is amazing! It was amazing to see on the screen! And it made me smile! We soon chilled and laughed for a few to a funny choking audio from Instagram! (Obviously, the audio was made for laughs)! We were laughing and now we're just enjoying the rest of our summer! It made me smile! For dinner, we had yummy chicken, Alfredo!

Saturday, 8/24/24 - today, I woke up around 7:15 Am but then fell back asleep, lol, and then woke up again around 7:39 Am, which is good since I've been waking up later recently! We watched reels in the morning and discovered another paraplegic! T9! It was cool how she transferred in and out of the pool! Now we're chilling just hanging out and talking about paraplegic struggles and how if I went up a steep ramp my head would tip backward and I wouldn't be able to get it back up recently we've been talking about my strength since my third month of ALS is approaching don't worry I already have a long lengthy post for y'all to read :) And we saw a lizard in our window. It brought us immense joy! As we laughed and filmed the lizard, sadly, I have my 39th round of chemotherapy tomorrow! Which sucks but I'll push through it! And big Donny got another jackpot. It was amazing indeed! And it made us all smile! Then we chilled for the rest of the night. Sadly, our friend Luz, who is in the red wheelchair (since we have two friends named Luz), felt sick and was probably having Autonomic dysreflexia that night since she had a runny nose. She was coughing a lot and had a headache! Which sucks and that did not make us smile :( our other friend named Luz had a rough day in Catheterizations. It was not as bad as before, but she managed to get to 5, which is not normal, and kept needing to transfer out of her chair, which did not make us smile! But chilling the rest of the night and having a good night's sleep made me smile!

Sunday, 8/25/24 - today I have my 39th round of chemotherapy! I don't have much of a weekly vlog put together lol! So it will be very short! But I am happy to almost be 40 rounds in! And I am excited/nervous to be hitting my third month with ALS! And school starts Tomorrow!!! So I'll be nervous then but we are prepared! And cannot wait to see our friends! That made us smile. And I got a little greedy, lol, and ordered a chicken with egg biscuit with starry, hash browns, and a peach cobbler, but I am very grateful for our parents buying us a yummy breakfast! Thank you in advance! We chilled for a long time and had yummy potato soup! It was very good! Well, I won't keep y'all waiting! So, I will end this entry early. Number 1 hc here, absolutely incredible cook like he could beat gordon ramsey with a “oh it’s not much bro” meal. He would cook for himself when he was younger and he got better at it over the years and he’d get more creative with it. Then when he lived with his grandma when he was a bit older her cooking was so bland he’d choose to cook for himself. The band would never let him cook assuming the kitchen would be on fire by the time he’s done but then he pulls out with the gourmet cheese soufflé.

Mario doesn't NEED the testing period because EVERYONE knows Mario. There is nothing remotely challenging or hard to grasp about Mario he's the one character your grandma knows, he's the mickey mouse of video games, he's THE Mario. Even if you had never seen Mario before you'd get the picture really quickly. Bowser is the bad guy; Mario saves the princess. Easy, classic story. Sonic doesn't have that kind of precedence.

Also, as an Angry Birds enjoyer the movies didn't need to struggle to be game accurate because the games are so bare bones in their story you could add anything on top of it and it not contradict or change anything from the games. It'd be like making a subway surfers movie where Jake is an inner-city kid with a tough relationship with his mother and an absent father and making graffiti art is the only thing that keeps him grounded. I mean, there's nothing in the game to say otherwise so everything still works because the story is so simple that it's super easy to expand upon without changing the core elements AND making the story appealing to general audiences.

Pokemon is an even BIGGER franchise than Mario with one of the most recognizable mascots ever; Pikachu!

And yet it too, STILL suffered the same fate as Sonic. Of all franchises to fall into that, Pokemon is the last one I’d expect!

I hear your point but I don’t think it answers the question from before. The only answer I can think of is it’s because Nintendo went to an animation studio DIRECTLY with Illumination instead of going to a studio like Paramount that specializes in live action, not animation. Paramount had to contract various small animation studios for parts of the movie they’re needed on. Which is what led to that whole debacle of hundreds of animators getting laid off when their studios folded right after Sonic was wrapped up. :0/

How do I know about that? Because I was living in Vancouver when it went down. The fallout was ENOURMOUS guys. My school hosted job fairs to help get those animators rehired. Flyers were posted EVERYWHERE with a drawn Sonic that said “Sonic says pay your workers!”

That I think is the main distinction. Same for Angry Birds. They went to specific animation companies to make their movies and who specialize in producing plus distributing said animated movies. I’d imagine they cost quite a bit to do that but I guess they decided it was worth it for Mario but not Pokemon??? The biggest media franchise in the world????????
