You ever get that feeling like you're f/o-ing characters by proxy? Like, you don't necessarily want to f/o them yourself, but you still want them to be f/os to someone and see other people self ship with them? Well, because I think I do ...

So I started rewatching Star Wars Rebels a few weeks ago and oh boy I think my dormant Star Wars hyperfixation is no longer dormant but instead coming back full force - AND NOW I WANT TO SEE THESE DORKS GETTING KISSES GODDAMMIT

These are just the first few that came to my mind but there's more (it's just that it's half past 5am and my brain is soup), but I'd love to see some self-inserts (or OCs) being shipped with them! And even if you don't like Imperials you could also just make them defect with/for you😌

I wasn't quite sure about including Kallus (bottom left) and Thrawn (bottom right) in this list, because 1. they're not nearly as underrated as the others (although I haven't really seen them around in the self ship community), and 2. I also very much ship Kallus with Zeb (I'm rarely crazy about canon x canon pairings but those two are really cute), and well Thrawn is also on my own f/o list anyway xD (I usually don't mind sharing though)

Bonus: Admiral Yularen, however I prefer his look in The Clone Wars, but he makes an appearance in Rebels too!

(I really want to rewatch TCW as well once I'm finished with Rebels it's always been such a joy to watch when I was younger😭 I hope I can get my sister to watch it together with me like we used to)

I need people to understand that my hyperfixation ships are limited to one thing: a man who is usually in full control of himself meeting 1 woman and losing complete and utter control over absolutely everything he does.

I just like to watch when they go full feral for a woman who could literally chew them up and spit them out, but choses to let them stick around because I don't know, it's nice to have someone carrying their bag or whatever.

Djura is still OBJECTIVELY the best Bloodborne character for me tbh. Like, removing simping for Micolash, removing my deep personal attachment to Rom and Edgar the way I made them, removing how me and Gehrman are basically besties now

Djura makes an actually good point - there is no reason to hunt the beasts when they won't harm anyone unless approached. Seeing how beasthood is essentially falling for men's darkest side of nature and crossing no return point, it is darker than 'beasts are innocent and he is a wholesome beasts dad', but? He basically says that if the harm they might cause is prevented - it is OVER and pointless comeuppance will give nothing. Like, some people like Valtr or Alfred would go 'b-but if they are so bad they don't deserve to live, if you protect the (now harmless) beasts then YOU are the beast!' like bitch, shut the fuck up and think of something besides the hunt just once! Not your business! Let them be.

He also respects your OWN autonomy - if you sneak to him without alerting him, he tries to reason with you instead of attacking, and if you agree to mind your own business - he gives you a badge for extra weapons from Dream he knows exists and blesses you to go hunt. Something he no longer wants to do or approves of, but he recognizes that there are still dangerous beasts outside of Old Yharnam that people NEED protection from, besides there is no need to force his lifestyle on someone else - as long as direct conflict of interests can be avoided, everyone should mind their own business. If everyone acts like Djura - society will cease to exist, but society needs someONE to take Djura's role. He is like... the respect for autonomy and neutrality I value very highly and aspire for, manifested in one character. What an absolute CHAD. Absurd how items narrative calls him foolish when he is one of the most reasonable people in the setting.

Besides Powder Kegs burned Old Yharnam, so he committed quite a character arc. Instead of wallowing or keeping up the hunt because it is 'too late' to change anything, he just changed his course of actions to a better one. It is never too late to do better! He also doesn't tell us a sob story about how he used to be a goddamn menace like us in the past - that old version of Djura is no more! No need to dwell! And he is still in a great shape when so many equally long lived and experienced hunters like Valtr, Eileen, Gascoigne and Henryk fall apart before player's eyes.

You might think she'd be intimidated by his tall, intimidating stature— she's not.

"Oh- You're Noah's brother? Hello! I'm Everlynn, but my friends call me Lynn!"

She's generally a little ray of sunshine, but I swear she gets brighter when & each time she seeing him. She just thinks he's so cool! (and he reminds her of Raine a bit)

She'll also work up the courage to ask about his scars, not that she's scared to act him questions, she just doesn't want to accidentally pinch a nerve.

Esra would be the a big brother figure to her. When and if he shows up at the bakery, she'll whip up some of the best damn batter and basically make some cookie-cakes. (she can make some obese cookies)

When and if she meet Ayla, she'll be a bit nervous. She doesn't want to seem too energetic and accidently hurt her. She'll follow Ayla around like a lost puppy, she's just making sure she's safe!

Enjoying the best Persona game?

((MY DUDE, THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS I'M ENJOYING WITH PERSONA 3!!!

Maybe it's my love for Greek mythology coming through, or the fact I studied Latin for 2 years in high school and 4 years in college, but I absolutely LOVE the themes I'm seeing while playing through P3. The theme of accepting death is, of course, HIGHLY PREVALENT in the game as I've seen through many social links and the main protag as well, but I know there's going to be more to it that I haven't seen yet.

I mean...I'm looking right at you, Orpheus and Eurydice. A classic Greek tragedy like that? I'm wondering how P3 takes that story and applies it into the game, because I am looking at the protag possessing Orpheus as their Persona, and I'm wondering what kind of potential death or tragedy they're going to experience in the later part of the game. BECAUSE I HAVE A FEELING IT WILL COME!! And because I know the story so well, it makes me wonder if the protag somehow causes this tragic event because of their own doubt. Whether it's doubt about themselves or doubting the trust they have with the others, I'm willing to bet I'll find out eventually.

Another aspect of this game that I LOVE and that I didn't see in P4 or P5 is the use of the Shadows in the real world. Like dude, some scientist somehow FOUND OUT about these Shadows, about these creations made by the doubts and undesirable emotions of humanity, and decided he wanted to harness that power they had FOR HIMSELF!! Maybe for power and authority, or to start a war, but it's just so fascinating that they managed to obtain these Shadows, and they KNEW about these Shadows and decided to experiment on them to make them stronger. It's a nice blend of supernatural and sci-fi-esque that I absolutely adore.

And on top of it, THESE SHADOWS ARE REALLY REALLY SMART AND CUNNING!! Which makes them absolutely DANGEROUS to any humans when the Dark Hour arrives. They possessed a monorail, they were able to manipulate and toy with non-Persona users EVEN OUTSIDE THE DARK HOUR!! That's the part when Fuuka gained her Persona. So...I guess what I'm saying here is I like how they made the Shadows a WORSE threat to humanity in P3 than what I've seen in P4 or P5.

At this point, I'm really thinking whether or not P3 is going to overtop P4 and take first place. P4 Golden is my top favorite out of the mainline Persona games, but with the way I've been so invested and have been critically analyzing P3, that may change pretty soon.

all of homra going to ayumis/kamamotos wedding

Aw this would be cute, they’d be very supportive I bet (except Bandou keeps loudly crying about why can’t he get a girlfriend). Ayumi is fine with Kamamoto inviting all his friends but imagine he has to tell them to maybe tone things down a little, like he wants to look good for Ayumi’s parents. Kusanagi notes that haven’t Ayumi’s parents known Kamamoto since he was young so it’s no big deal, they know what kind of guy he is, and Kamamoto laughs a little sheepishly. 

Anna definitely gets to be flower girl, all dressed in red and taking this very seriously because she wants to do a good job. Meanwhile the Homra guys all get to be Kamamoto’s groomsmen and Kusanagi has to keep them in line with pointed looks during the ceremony. Yata gets to be best man and is super proud but also very nervous, just imagine him all red-faced and standing stock still because he’s worried he’s gonna mess something up. Kusanagi tells him to relax, there isn’t much he needs to do, and Yata gives this very loud ‘Right! I’m relaxed!’ which makes everyone stare at him. Once she’s done being flower girl Anna has to stand next to him and hold his hand so he’ll relax. The Homra guys manage to be well behaved until the kiss the bride part when Bandou gives a wolf whistle and Yata loudly threatens to beat him up, while Kusanagi just sighs all ‘boys…’.

The reception is a bit wilder, since Homra can let loose a little more. I imagine the Homra guys all cornering Kamamoto so they can have drinks together, which makes everyone a bit more rowdy. Imagine Kusanagi and Kamamoto’s parents worked together to plan the open bar, so of course they only have the best alcohol and Kusanagi mans the bar for a while charming all Ayumi’s relatives. Chitose brought his girlfriend along so they have a dance while Bandou once again sobs over being alone while Akagi pats his back sympathetically. Eric and Fujishima probably found a cat wandering around and have been quietly following it to avoid the crowds. Yata at some point gets drunk enough that he’s hugging Kamamoto and crying loudly over how much Kamamoto’s grown while Kamamoto awkwardly tries to console him.
