Now all Kaeya has to do is just pull out his card (cough he’s constantly got it in his pocket, the one he asked u to sign cough)

Rosaria just looks the other way like if she can’t see it it’s not real, Diluc will literally be in the middle of making a drink for one of them and just leave it halfdone and attend to somebody else, Venti’s eye twitches-

i never rlly post anything in tumblr since im usually on the kpop side of tumblr and rarely ever use it, but here i am. hello everyone 😭 anyways, i was rewatching disney’s peter pan 2 return to neverland ( a REALLY GOOD movie, i highly recommend you watch it ) the other day and something just clicked-

so for context, in the end of the movie, there is this once scene in which peter pan reunites with a grown up Wendy. I was never the one who enjoyed disney sequels that much, but this. this scene. oh my GOODNESS. it was soo 😭😭😭😭😭 so 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔

IT WAS SO SAD I CRIED. anyways. When Peter first reveals himself to her, he kinds of jumpscares her ( not rlly, i just dk how to describe it LMAO ) in which she flinches/move backwards

AND THIS. THIS SEEMED SO FAMILIAR TO ME. ITS LIKE “wait where have i seen this before” AND THEN IT HIT ME LIKE A BUS.

Peter was a figment of her childhood, and their reunion is a sweet and heartwarming reminder that growing up doesnt mean loosing her inner child.

yeah thats all sorry for the random yap 😭😭 i grew up with the first movie so seeing this small detail imo, really captures Wendy’s growth as a person🙏 well done to the storyboard artists !!

Oh this boy gets jealous badly.. all of these feelings are new to him, so can you blame him for being a little possessive of you! Now sure, he might not do anything to cause problems. Primarily because there isnt much for him to do.. but he does sour a little when he hears about someone trying to make moves on you.. imagine the drama if one of the parents tried to flirt with you while they were trying to pick up their kid! Very firmly says that it is not the appropriate place or time for such talk in a passive aggressive tone oversaturated with sickly sweetness. Goes into a sort of denial when asked about it, his rays clicking around

KISS:

Said this before but I'll say it again. He very gently boinks his faceplate against your face.. usually he tries to aim for the mouth or cheek, but due to how his face is built he kind of bumps into your whole face.. it's still sweet though! He loves when you kiss his forehead and nose! Kiss the back of his hands and he will mock fan himself with his free hand. Bonus points if you bow when you do it, he loooooves theatrics

YEARN:

Does not handle it well. Hes antsy waiting for you to come on your next shift, often bouncing from one foot to the other while he counts down the minutes. Working with the kids does help take his mind off of it, though! Just as long as he has something to keep him occupied, he can function well enough without you around!

Fully imagining Kate turning into peak Season 1 mean girl cause she isn't getting enough sleep and is making it everyone else's problem too and then Lucy also can't sleep and it's effecting her performance out in the field so Jane tells her to take a long weekend and catch up on sleep but she can't cause she can't sleep without snuggling right up into Kate

and holy shit wait i can 100% see the vision for the sleep one? like. jane notices that lucy isnt doing her best and tells her point blank “whatever you need to get well-rested” so when kate opens her front door at midnight she is understandably very, very confused. totally imagine the scene going like this:

Kate answers the door with an (appropriate) amount of apprehension due to the time of night, but it melts away into soft, plain confusion when she sees Lucy standing there. “Lucy,” she says, quietly, sounding vaguely hopeful and relieved and—Lucy absolutely cannot allow that. 

(The hope, anyway).

“Hi,” Lucy says firmly, “I need to sleep here. Tonight.” She reconsiders her words a little and amends, “Please.”

“Is there something wrong with your apartment?” Now Kate looks concerned. “Are you okay?”

“Everything's fine. Can I—can we take this inside? Your neighbors will really hate me otherwise.”

“Yeah, of course.” Kate steps back to let Lucy in, watching her with that patient, perplexed furrow of her brow, and Lucy is extremely mad that she still finds it cute.

“Jane told me to come here,” Lucy says, once they're standing together in the living room and Lucy is pointedly avoiding eye contact. “Well not here specifically, she just made me take time off to get some rest and…well, she might have mentioned that you're a little off yourself. In her usual cryptic way.”

“Off?” Kate echoes, frowning. “Off how?”

“Well you've been a little—prickly. More than usual. At least, that's what my team has been saying, I haven't noticed anything.” That's a lie, but Lucy is trying very hard to show she doesn't care what Kate Whistler is up to nowadays. 

(Showing up today is just. A brief lapse in judgment). 

Kate crosses her arms. “I've been nothing but professional. If they sent you to complain—”

“That's not why I'm here, okay?” Lucy pauses to exhale deeply. “I can't sleep. I'm driving my team crazy and Jane finally told me to take some time off and…I think I just can't sleep without you.”

“Oh.” Kate blinks, outwardly stunned, and her frown falls entirely. “Does this mean—”

Lucy doesn't let her finish. “I don't want to talk about us,” she says. “I don't want to listen to you explain, or…or anything. I just want to sleep, and obviously, it needs to happen in your bed or it won’t happen at all.” She pauses. “If you’re fine with it, anyway.”

Kate just stares, for a moment. “Is this…wise?” she finally asks. “The ramifications of getting used to being around each other could be…” 

“Don’t analyze it,” Lucy protests. “And don’t look at me like I’m crazy. I just need one night of sleep or I’ll actually kill someone. Can we just, take it one day at a time here?”

“Okay.” Kate bites her lip, looks down and doesn’t look back up. “Sure. We can just stay together tonight and figure the rest out later.”

The act of giving in is very uncharacteristic for Kate Whistler, and deep down, Lucy knows why Kate is agreeing. She knows why Kate is so willing to let Lucy back into her bed despite their issues. And she knows why Kate is currently gently clearing off Lucy’s side of the bed that is so obviously slept-on instead of Kate’s usual side.

But Lucy pushes those thoughts deep, deep down, and instead buries her face into a pillow and listens to Kate’s uneven breathing. “I can hear you thinking,” she says, feels Kate shift behind her. “Relax, okay? We’re just two people…sleeping next to each other…to get one night of rest. It doesn’t have to be weird.”

Kate gives a huff of a disbelieving laugh. “Right,” she mumbles. “Not weird at all.”  

Already, Lucy feels like this is working, all exhaustion melting out of her body as she sighs. “You can touch me, you know.”

Kate coughs. “What?!”

“It it helps you sleep,” Lucy yawns, eyes already closed as she pulls the blanket a little tighter. She has an explanation on the tip of her tongue about how she knows Kate likes the grounding ability to touch, but it fades when sleep comes.

(She swears, though, that she feels the faintest brush of Kate’s fingertips at her waist right before it does).

I’m ngl lmao I genuinely did like a quintuple take when I saw your tags on the “what do you remember by as a writer?” post say it might be a long shot bc you haven’t written a ton. I think your fic masterlist is one of the longest I’ve ever seen on snzblr, and the fics are sooo good!

From time to time, I’ll go back and reread some of my favorites or just all the Sh/ado/w and B/one fics (despite never having seen or read the series!), and I always end up being extremely tempted to try getting into the fandom sometime just bc your fics are so enjoyable and you make the characters, their dynamics, and little glimpses into the plot/missions/etc seem so fun! They always come to mind whenever I see the names Ka/z or In/ej anywhere lmao

“Bound” is probably the one I remember best and, ig I’m not sure on the Statistical Accuracy, but I honestly always tend to think of it as one of the most iconic fics in snzblr, esp since I remember seeing it be reblogged a lot and people absolutely dying in the tags lmaoo. One of very few fics I know by name without even needing a second to try to remember it. And I’m usually really not a pollen girlie! But it’s SO well-executed and hot. “Tease” comes to mind for me a lot when thinking about snz while hiding scenarios, esp ones where 1+ character has supernatural/magical abilities

Generally, I definitely remember your writing for being SO good with characters teasing/flirting/being charismatic and smooth (all things I feel like can be really hard to pull off!), kink!chars, struggle to keep composure (love seeing all the ways in which Ka/z, resident composed and collected man, ends up disheveled and a lil pitiful lmao), power dynamics, snz while hiding, wide variety of causes and scenarios that are all bangers, and snz that is Very Well Done and I am Looking So Respectfully at ahdjhajdhsjsba

im going to kcon la next month!! unfortunately skz isnt part of lineup and i wont be able to go friday so ill only be able to see the saturday+sunday conventions and concerts, but i hope itll be fun nonetheless. my uncle is some kind of manager in the entertainment industry (idk too much abt it but he usually gets me signed albums every year so im not complaining!) and he usually helps out at kcon every year, so he always has at least 2-3 free tickets.. whenever he visits so im usually able to head to kcon if my schedule fits!! 

i think for other life updates on my part theres not tm.. i ended up going on a diet the past month because ive been really wanting to lose weight for a while now but ive never been able to do it in a healthy way because ive had an ed for as long as i could remember.. (growing up with asian beauty standards is pretty tough unfortunately 😞) i used to be 130lbs at 5’1” so i always considered myself overweight because of my height, but i recently lost 10lbs and im hoping i can reach my goal of 110 within the next month asw 🤞

aside from my life update rant though, ive srsly missed you so much star you dont even know !!! im so happy youre back 🥺🥺🥺

🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).

i have two! i recently finished my Ronance Mermaid AU, and i feel soo proud of that one! it's just cozy little thing about healing and found family and being gay and only women allowed and i have so much love for it. and also!! i just finished writing a "nancy wheeler choose your own adventure" story and i'm soooo excited to post it!!

technically i think i'd be happy to write at any time of the day. wait no. probably not the morning. but after noon everything is valid lol usually i've been writing only after diner bc i've been so busy with life. so it's kind of becoming a habit to write at night!

i'm not sure? like, something i'd like to get better at? well there are action scenes. and definitely not being so lazy about it all 😭 i'd like to expand my vocabulary and try more words and like for example use more idioms, but i have bilingual anxiety hgsdjfhgjf i'm like oh this isnt a real word/i'm using it wrong/no one actually says that, and so i end up deleting that probably nice word/sentence and writing it in a more simple way. i should probably stop doing that

I LOVE. TO MAKE MY LITTLE GUYS DO THINGS. I LOVE PUTTING THEM IN SITUATIONS. no but fr i just find so much joy in writing them particularly in situations that will never happen in canon but would fix me if they did. like those little guys r never gonna really have a deep heart to heart about their trauma on screen but TO ME. THEY HAVE AND I WILL WRITE IT. or even like for not angst/hurt comfort stuff its like oh writing them having fun with their friends or being in love and being happy is so !!! GOOD

sorry for choosing such a long part of this fic but its like. the most recent fic ive written that has anything worth explaing ig?? anyways this def isnt like crazy impressive or anything but this chapter has so much dialogue and i fucking suck at dialogue so this end portion was rlyyyy just an excuse for me to write tommy freaking out a bit without having to include dialogue and i think it was also a good end to the first chapter of this fic in terms of setting the tone for the rest of the fic 👍

almost all my fics start as a handwritten draft (i have almost all my fics in some notebook somewhere in my room dating all the way back to like the 5th grade when i started writing beyblade self insert fanfiction) and then i retype them in docs and use that as my chance to edit as well ig? and then when i paste them onto ao3 i do a final edit there. uhhh if its a chaptered fic i usually have a doc with all the important details with the exception of like my umbrella academy dsmp au which almost all the details are on a post somewhere on this blog under the tsmpa tag i think? but they havent been updated in awhile, i need to change some major stuff for that au before i go back to writing it 😭😭

1. Since when have you been a P1ece? I listened to Siren for the first time like early last fall, and found That's It a little later, and i remember thinking ok this is probably some well established group like their rapping and sound overall just really impressed me. (cut to surprised pika face when i found out OH THEY'RE LITERALLY ONLY A YEAR OLD)

2. What made you decide to stan P1H? i knew i liked their music but i decided to officially stan when i found out they were at FNC because n.flying is my ult, so i was like this must be a sign??? lmfao

3. Who is/are your bias(es)? jiung!

4. Your favourite era so far? in terms of music, Siren/Stand Out is my fav but in terms of looks/concept, Do It Like This/Find Out by a long shot.

5. Your favourite title track/MV? I like the MV for scared the best because the concept for it is really artistic, plus the falling rocks genuinely made me nervous so A+ for the immersive experience alkdflsdkjs

6. Your fav P1H choreo? the intro to Reset is so amazing, they are literally so in sync its mesmerizing to watch

7. Your fav b-sides? That's it is one of my favorite kpop songs ever, and idk if this counts as a title or a b side but i also love breakthrough a LOT

8. Your fav cover of theirs? MANIAC MANIAC MANIAC oh my god if you havent listened to it yet you have to. i love it even more because they were in charge of the creative direction for the video and they talked about how they had to put moodboards together and stuff. it makes me glad that they have some creative control for their content!!

10. Have you watched their little STAGE + performances? What’s your favourite? i havent seen all of them but this one with seob and intak is my favorite that ive seen. im usually not a fan of lyrical dancing like this but the beginning part is so good and i can just watch it over and over

13. A P1H moment you love? when they did the portrait drawing contest on Jongseobs birthday live, and keeho gave this big speech about how some artists arent appreciated in their time just bc he lost sldkfjlsk😭

16. A collab you’re hoping for? in their daebak show interview keeho and jiung said that they want to try more bandy music, so i think them working with n.flying would be so cool!! it would make my n.fia heart so happy

23. Something you love about being a P1ece? I always love being a part of smaller fandoms because theres such a strong sense of community and dedication that sometimes gets lost in groups with huge fanbases. (in terms of like, when fanbases get bigger there can be lots of weird drama about voting or who should have won what or which fandoms are "fighting" one another but with smaller groups its like "woo!! we got a comeback!!" lmfao)It's a difficult balance, because while you want them to become successful and reach a larger audience, theres something special about stanning a newer/less well known group and feeling that camaraderie in fandom spaces.

so basically my voice teacher works thru my school but isnt like an employed staff member she just has an agreement w the choir teacher that she can use the classroom space and has cheaper prices for lessons and obv offers them to students at my school ETC. and she's really chill and ive known her for a while so she always sort of starts the semester of lessons (they run by semester) asking ppl for what their goals are and what they want to sing. so usually she's taking students who have like some sort of audition coming up (thats not a rigid rule but a lot of ppl who do lessons are musical theatre kids etc so) which means she has to focus on like preparing pieces for auditions and everything

for me though i like. don't do jack all auditions wise for singing so im like Yeah lets just go funky and sing whatever. preferably songs in lower registers tho i need to expand that part of my voice

we talked and i mentioned that i was into six the musical which is why im singing that song all you wanna do but if you don't know the song its um. Very heavy and also. explicit 😭but she's letting me sing it the thing is Um. we have a concert so i told her at voice lessons today Hey if we do a concert with all the kids in the lessons i CANNOT sing that in front of my mother

so she was like oh yes of course okay we can get u a second piece and she played me a bunch of songs and at some point she scrolled past "we don't talk about bruno" so she started singing it and i told her "I've never watched Encanto but i have a friend who LOVES it so I listened to the soundtrack and Surface Pressure always makes me cry" (guess who the friend i was referring to was :D ) and she was like "YES okay. Do you want to sing it." and i was like. holy shit YES

and it works well bc (1) mare's mother approved aka not explicit (2) character piece and in musical theatre so it works for what i was trying to do for voice lessons (3) has a lot of low notes which is entirely what i wanted to go for (4) very cathartic to sing

so yeah :D i used to get TERRIBLE anxiety with singing like. thats what made me realize i was Quite a worrier by nature was cos i could not do it but. kind of forced myself to many times over the years and like i don't recommend brute forcing everything exposure therapy is a delicate thing 😭😭😭 but now like. im not the best eprformer or anything im still awkward and anxious as hell BUT im way more confident so ya :D

TLDR some miraculous combined effort between my mother, you, and bootleg exposure therapy
