i never rlly post anything in tumblr since im usually on the kpop side of tumblr and rarely ever use it, but here i am. hello everyone 😭 anyways, i was rewatching disney’s peter pan 2 return to neverland ( a REALLY GOOD movie, i highly recommend you watch it ) the other day and something just clicked-

so for context, in the end of the movie, there is this once scene in which peter pan reunites with a grown up Wendy. I was never the one who enjoyed disney sequels that much, but this. this scene. oh my GOODNESS. it was soo 😭😭😭😭😭 so 😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔

IT WAS SO SAD I CRIED. anyways. When Peter first reveals himself to her, he kinds of jumpscares her ( not rlly, i just dk how to describe it LMAO ) in which she flinches/move backwards

AND THIS. THIS SEEMED SO FAMILIAR TO ME. ITS LIKE “wait where have i seen this before” AND THEN IT HIT ME LIKE A BUS.

the symbolism. the reference. THE PARALLELS 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔this is probably old news to many and is most likely intenionally done by the animators and storyboard artists- but omg. i know this small detail probably went unoticed by many, and you might be thinking

"eh? so what? its not a big deal💀”

"yeah we already know Imao" well then heres just me ranting then: i feel, to me atleast, this detail symbolizes how Wendy has grown up, no longer the same girl she was in the first movie. Peter was a figment of her childhood, and their reunion is a sweet and heartwarming reminder that growing up doesnt mean loosing her inner child.

yeah thats all sorry for the random yap 😭😭 i grew up with the first movie so seeing this small detail imo, really captures Wendy’s growth as a person🙏 well done to the storyboard artists !!

I FORGOT ABOUT WORDGIRL THAT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS AS A KID!!! I remember dr2b being my fav villain, I guess I was always destined to love mad scientists (hmm maybe I should go back and rewatch some of the episodes I remember almost nothing) but anyway. Peppermint Cheesecake is one of my all-time favorite crackships now <3

And oo, W*rdgirl episodes are a bit of a struggle to find. There's the pbs kids app, but that only gives you like 3 to watch and only changes the episode selection every one or two weeks?

Theres also a*mazon, which you have to buy the PBS kids subscription, it's like 5 dollars a month? But as usual for a*mazon the episodes are a bit jumbled and with a few missing. (You have to get the subscription as renting the actual series is like 50 dollars)

Those p*rn ad filled sites tend to not have it at all,,

But there is hope! Idk if this website is 100% trustworthy but it's what I've been using :p. Sometimes it says video error to me but I just keep trying and it ends up working

There is one thing I keep hearing while watching Hatari's icelandic interviews. It sounds like "og hetna" or something, what does it mean and when it's meant to use?

That would be “og hérna”. (In Icelandic, rn is pronounced rtn unless it’s on the word boundary in a compound word, which starts to sound like just tn when speaking quickly.) Og means “and”, and hérna means “here” - but the reason you’re hearing it a lot is that hérna is a filler word, used to fill the gap when you need a moment to think of what you want to say. If I were translating it, I’d go with “and, uh”. Other common Icelandic fillers include “þarna” (there), “þú veist” (you know, often contracted to sound like “þúst”) and “ég meina” (I mean).

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS MUSE:  tbh my bro introduced me to ‘naruto’ in general  &  he had all the films aswell.   after watching through the series he told me to watch the rtn one  ( that was his fav at the time )  so i did  &  WOW !   i just found it hilarious , how all the characters were backwards but then seeing the concept of a dark naruto , just had me hooked !   i’m always drawn to the bad boy , darker muses ¯\_(ツ)_/¯    also in a way , i feel like menma is underrated  /  overlooked in favour of the series main which yes i get makes sense  &  menma only existed in a fake universe but   STILL i wanted to give menma some backstory , really delve into his character.  make him more than just evil naruto .. look i just love my angsty emo bois  fITE ME.
