"fnaf is the scariest game ever" "no its silent hill" "well i think its resident evil" everyone shut up!!!!!! youre all wrong. its actually zack & wiki quest for barbaros' treasure (on the nintendo wii) but only the level "keeper of the ice". that level scared me so bad as a kid and you can tell because its the only individual level i remember the name of off the top of my head. like there is nothing scarier than a) being chased and b) being on a time limit. and you know what this level has? BOTH OF THOSE. this level is still scary to me im like AHHHHH!!!! and then i die

#i had to google horror games after i thought really hard for silent hill and fnaf #because like. resident evil is just not a horror game in my mind... its just cool zombie game...#to be fair though. the only one i actually played a portion of was re6 which is probably the least scary one in the whole series #anyway do the kids still find silent hill and fnaf scary. i dont know.#well the former id say yes given how prevalent ps1 horror has been in recent years #fnaf i have no idea. im a massive wuss so its scary when i play it for myself #but watching someone else play them especially when i know them well isnt scary #and ive watched fnaf videos for YEARS #so i dont know. This is like legit kind of stressing me out. I own all these games, bought them nearly 10 years ago. How are they all worth $100+ each?!?!?

Also yes I know the p2 innocent sin is with the cd soundtrack. That is the version that I have. I still have the cd in a box in my living room 😭

They all still have their booklets, too... if I decided to sell them, I could get a pretty penny for them...

#im gonna fucking kill myself im so fucking angry #i gotta go to work in like 30 minutes and im so fuckin pissed off at a video game #baldurs gate has gotten more auto saves since the game launched but you what doesnt fucking autosave?#the entire fucking gauntlet of shar apparently #i killed the orthon explored the whole fucking temple got all the way to the shadowfell and remembered i forgot the halsin shit #so i went back to do that #and lost that stupid fight and apparently at no point in that like entire hour and a half did anything save #and im too fucking stupid to save it on my own #so now i gotta redo everything #im so fucking pissed #cause the gauntlet of shar is actively my least favorite part of the game cause its boring and annoying and more importantly #this isnt the first fucking time ive had to do this #ive had game crashes and other fuckups that have made me redo that entire area #multiple times #youd think id fucking learn my god damn lesson but no #im so angry right now how am i supposed to go to work like this #wasted my fuckin morning #i hate video games

There's no joke here.

Subnautica is one of the only games that has made me panic quit a game before.

No other games has done that other than Skyrim when I was like 6...

im so done with seeing articles about kids and screen time that doesnt mention parent behaviors even once. “kids are always on their phones” so are the parents! which the kids look to for how they should behave! ipad babies didn’t chose to only play on their ipads, thats what their parents gave them!

an anecdotal example: when i was a kid, all my parents would do in their minimal free time was watch tv and then they would be surprised when in my sister and i’s minimal free time we would also only watch tv/play video games. they scolded us for not reading books, but they never read books. they scolded us for not going outside but they never went outside.

“kids are always on their damn phones” my mom is in her 60s and opens up candy crush anytime she’s sitting — it isnt just the kids

#side note but ipad babies are such a rich people thing too #like you’re gonna give your kid something that cost $400 and has an easily breakable screen?#that goes for smartphones too

Bro I'm losing my god damn mind and I haven't even messed around with the new gameplay shit like at all. Ive spent the past like 5 hours just reading and looking at shit I haven't even played the damn video game

#rat rambles #oni posting #and unfortunately playing the damn video game will have to wait til tomorrow because its late bug holy shitttttt #this isnt even all of the new content that will be in the full dlc like holy shit #now one bit of sad news for the gamers is that the mysterious machine does not appear to be the temporal bow but it still seems neat #its currently locked tho so I cant comment too much on its full deal #based on in game disriptions tho it appears to be a geothermal generator of sorts #which is actually super cool considering the environmental storytelling surrounding it #well what I assume to be I have only generated one world so it could be some wild coincidence #but Im pretty sure the magma biome is mostly obsidian with only bits and pieces of magma which combined with the geothermal generator #situations and said building being on the cold planet paints a cool pocture #also I wasnt able to 100% comfirm this but uh. erm. I think we Might be getting one extra new dupe once the dlc comes out proper #lets just say I have reason to believe that harold might not be the only moreson to have gotten his dna stolen #its so jover guys how the hell am I supposed to sleep tonight #and worst of all Ive seen like 2 ppl talk abt the beta and it's been minor stuff hello is anyone there can anyone hear me #Im losing my god damn mind someone at least make a video where they just talk abt the new plants and critters and such #like we might Finally have a new oxygen method even if its low key just a cold oxyfern #I forgive it tho because of the context of it using ice as fertilizer #like that doesnt mean a whole lot on this planet but on most other planetoids that provides a rly interested challenge #ultimately it's not That hard to make ice if you have access to any level of cooling but its still cool to imagine how one would go abt #automating the whole process and making it more applicable to late game oxygen demands #also this is a massive update for nosh bean enjoyers as we finally have a second way to get ethanol lol #also the deep fryer is a fun concept even if Im not sure how worth it it'll be to go for it

ADHD tip: if u need to remember something, inconvenience urself with it.

works best with physical objects obviously but just. oh i keep forgetting my lunch box before work? now after prepping it i set it in front of the door so i cant leave without moving it. dont wanna forget to take my pills? well in about to eat dinner so im gonna set the pillbox down right where my plates gonna go. gotta deal with x before bed? well, ill set it on my bed so i cant sleep without moving it. make it so that u cannot proceed with another task without interacting with the forgetfullness object.

u can also sub in an object that maybe isnt the task itself but is a related reminder object (detergent for laundry, trash bag to replace bag when u throw out the damn trash, etc)

and not in the VICINITY of another task, like. the reminder object is On Top Of my game controller and i cant play video games without being reminded "oh i had TASKS".

#adhd #adhd tips #i dont do this very often but its helpful when i do and some of them are habits now #like the lunch kit. havent forgotten it in like a year!!
