Aside from the usual shittalking and inability to take any form of criticism.

(Where has he been the last few months, he just sort of dropped off the radar after his last video from what I could see)

Has something happened?

Hi. He’s mostly just been the same old tbh. The only two things worth mentioning are he and his fanbase pretty much celebrating during the whole Alex Kirster situation, in which Urban was treating a pretty serious situation as a joke. He also somewhat called another horror creator, Chezzkids, a pxdophile. I say somewhat as it wasn’t like a full out accusation but at the same time he was pretty much comparing Chezzkids with Alex. So yeah pretty bad shit.

The other thing that inspired my post is a recent interaction with another horror creator, Vibingleaf. I’ll just let the images explain themselves honestly. Cw just in case. It’s pretty insensitive.

In short. UrbanSpook has the emotional intelligence of a brick to the face and I don’t want to talk about him anymore. His series is apparently nearly finished despite not having a new episode in months. I honestly think it’s for the better once this guy finishes his series and leaves. This guy brings out the worst in people. Thanks for asking.

based on your interpretation of the military Yang ask, i find it absolutely hilarious that Yang just casually knows government secrets, due to ironwood just telling her. Does Ozpin know he tells her?? Like, during the Mistral bandit can arc, Raven is just giving her the whole 'Grimm has a master' speech and Yang's like, 'duh. I already know. Next your gonna say you can turn into a bird and the sky outside is blue or something??'.

And I love the thought of Penny and Yang being friends, it'll give Penny more *human* interactions and mean she won't act as stilted as she does in canon.

My most favorite part of that au is that she knows stuff she shouldn't. I wonder if that's why I like the time loop and MitC verse's so much....?

As a mesh of my interpretation and the actual original askers actual AU i think ironwood eventually kinda recruits Yang and sense her whole family was part of ozpins inner circle for a while he probably sees it as fine if he tells her certain things that are definitely secrets probably not everything but enough that he would think it gained her trust and loyalty because Yang is a VERY loyal person (one of the things that would make her a good soldier) but the way Yang is loyal isn’t the way that he’d want which is individually and relationship based so she’d be loyal to ironwood if he helped her and told her this stuff but as like a friend not as a general of the army or like her boss and she’d never keep those secrets if it posed a danger to the people she cared about

And if she knew the army was doing some messed up she’d offer that information whenever it came up cause she has a very solid sense of right and wrong

I don’t know if he’d tell ozpin he told Yang these things but if it ever came up that she knew ozpin would probably assume it was any of the people related to her that told her like maybe qrow when drunk so I doubt he’d get caught

I love the idea of Yang being like “Sky’s blue, moms are birds, government is evil, nothings new, one(1) portal please”

yo, that previous asker was pretty harsh so dw too much about spamming tags! (the jirai kei fans especially can be toxic sometimes).

a kinder way to explain what they were trying to say is that tumblr tags are more about cataloguing posts/describing what's in posts than anything else. ppl on tumblr will often stick very closely to the fandom they're in, and tags are an easy way to see posts that are relevant to *only* that fandom. so if you've posted something that really is jirai kei, feel free to use that tag. i'll generally only use a particular tag if a) that tag is actually in the post (i.e. i posted mlp fanart so i tag #mylittlepony), or b) it relates to whatever aesthetic i'm in — since you're an agere/cutecore blog i'd probably also tag agere, cutecore, ponycore, cute, pink, etc.

also, if you're worried about reach, tumblr is actually pretty good with recommending related blogs to people. if you regularly post or tag a particular aesthetic, your posts and blog will get recommended (and your posts will show up in the "new" tab which ppl actually use here).

Consider this: Damian Wayne comes to scare you away from his brother but ends up your biggest defender (I’m picturing him as a very imperious 11-year old btw).

At your first meeting, he appears at Jason’s apartment uninvited and without telling Alfred where he’s going. He’s concerned your appearance in Jason’s life is a nefarious plot to gain access to the family and learn their weaknesses and he is intent on scaring you away. He is the first of Jason’s family that you’ve met and you’re delighted to see him. By the end of dinner you’ve got him all shy and eating out of your hand.

The second time you meet, it’s more intentional, a family dinner with all the Waynes. Damian surprises you (and Jason) by redirecting some of the more invasive questions with a scoff and an insult directed at the asker. He gets a bit bashful when you say goodbye and promise to see him again soon.

In between meetings, Damian casually tries to fish for information on how you’re doing or when you’ll be coming around next. Jason teases him about it and Damian storms off in a huff.

The fifth time you meet, it’s because you received a handwritten note in the mail, inviting you to attend Damian’s class art exhibition. Damian is a little embarrassed by how many pictures you take of him in front of his drawings. He’ll tell anyone that will listen that you’re going to be his big sister one day, even if his idiot brother isn’t worthy of you (Jason is spluttering in the background because, one, hey, he’s NOT an idiot, and two, you haven’t talked about marriage yet even though he’s already got a ring hidden in his sock drawer)

Gonna change the name of this au because it’s not the poly au. The poly au is were the bedfic, and Ingens rapax takes place.

In that au, (the poly au!!) the A’s are unrelated to the main cast and are in the polycule. They aren’t siblings and are entirely different, unrelated characters from the ones in the main au. Shoutout to that one asker who put a nasty surprise in my inbox because they couldn’t fucking read or confront me about this. You caused me to dissociate + triggered me. This au, the au were Axo child is born stems from the main au. Everything is the same but Seek, Rush, Ambush and Figure are dating and nobody else is in their polycule. The entire hotel isn’t dating each other like in Poly au. The A’s are siblings here.

Poor Figure wouldn’t carry regardless, its body is pretty messed up post-Snare and the many attempts that came before it.

Snare is a miracle in itself. (Seek carried mystery entity + Screech and had no problems.) Though, it nearly killed Figure from bleeding..I’ll go into entity anatomy someday.

Usually, the most dominant OR most healthy OR most willing OR a combination of the two/three in the relationship hierarchy will carry offspring. (Dominant and Breedable.)

Ambush is (debatably) the best killer and most experienced (having carried the A’s and possibly..?? The twins??) so therefore.. ideal candidate.

Plus in the later months of being preggers it gives Ambush a nice little break from hunting and it can take all the naps and eat all the food it wants. <3

Pregnant entities very much still hunt btw. The danger does not go away and arguably increases when a baby is on the way because the parent wants to get as much food in storage as possible before they’re born.

Fun fact for the newer followers. Baby entities are almost parasitic to those who carry them. Slowly sapping their energy (this can actually kill the parent if they don’t have enough food + energy to sustain themselves.) so entities get super duper exhausted especially during later phases, so they will usually just take naps.

Can I have a source for the claim that you can’t have alters without trauma? I hear it a lot but that doesn’t actually even seem like something you concretely prove. Let me know if it is and link any studies that did prove it, though! Also, if you have to look that up, maybe you shouldn’t be saying things in such black and white terms if you actually have no reason to think it’s true other then “I figure it must be because that’s how I learned about multiplicity”.

Cause here’s a passage from literally the International Classification of Diseases:

“The presence of two or more distinct personality states does not always indicate the presence of a mental disorder. In certain circumstances the presence of multiple personality states is not experienced as aversive and is not associated with impairment in functioning. A diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder should not be assigned in these cases.”

As for why endo systems form, it varies. Personally, I see a lot of people claim they were born this way or formed for some unknown reason that they don’t believe to be trauma.

Some people do intentionally create headmates (I don’t know very much about that process or how it works, but I’m sure you could find out more pretty easily), but it’s not all endos and it’s not “giving yourself a disorder” since most intentionally-formed systems don’t identify as having DID or OSDD.

Honestly, what I’d recommend is to just look into it more and acknowledge that just because something doesn’t sound right to you (especially if you only just heard about it), doesn’t mean it isn’t true. But yeah, maybe don’t look for information about endos on a blog called antiendovents, lol. You seem to be coming at this with genuinely good faith, which I appreciate, so go do some more research and see if you can find people talking about their own experiences being endogenic and come to understand (or at least not flatly disbelieve) them. I also was skeptical at first (cause we’re taught that DID is only formed from trauma even though there really isn’t any evidence of that), so don’t feel too ashamed or anything. These are complicated topics, and difficult to study, so information can be somewhat lacking especially when misinformation abounds.

I’m So lost why would someone support endos they say they have the symptoms of a disorder without the disorder? yeah. Endos are really,, odd. It's not possible for a system to form without trauma and you can't have alters without having DID/OSDD. Can you assemble some posts about mundane and more practical meanings of the 78-card tarot?

Let's say one asks about precise location or time or explicit physical attributes, maybe profession etc and I'm not talking about vague, way too generalized correspondences like the one given by astro signs and planets. I'm talking about something in the fashion of: which exact card or arcana combo indicate let's randomly say, a bar and which one is talkimg about a night club or a Michelin star restaurant or a golf club, a private club etc? Which card/s can indivate a cruise and which one are talking about Paris? Does the soulmate cooks for their significant other? And so on and so forth, I think you can understand somehow what I'm asking. Tarot is too fuzzy for every day, average person with sh*tty life that we all can relate with. Sure spiritual, deep meanings are welcomed and absolutely great and necessary, but let's try to use tarot a bit more practical. Think about it and see if you can come with something, I tried to do it myself for some time now but got away frustrated bc my experience with tarot is close to zero. That's why I dared to send you this ask, you seem experienced with tarot. Tysm anyway, I'm sending you lots of love 💜💜💜

You see, tarot never has a precise answer. The reader has. The cards only guide the reader. The reader’s job is to understand and make connections between the cards and the situation the one asking the question is in. It’s not like, for example, I got The Star card and the 6 of Cups so it’s something related to France. Tarot is not at all astrology. Different systems. Astrology is a pseudoscience, tarot is divination. Tarot is far more spiritual than astrology since astrology doesn’t have to do anything with spirituality.

I did make a post in which I literally explained the court cards (kings, queens, knights and pages) and gave personality types. I basically brought the cards to life. Here’s the post: court cards

I use a lot of intuition and I normally connect to the cards energetically. Let’s give a situation in which the one asking is asking “How Will stuff go with my mom?”, so I start shuffling, waiting for the cards to fall and once they fall I look at them and I’m like “ok fam, what’s happening” and then I see that the cards falling are:

Knight of Pentacles

Queen of Cups

Page of Swords

9 of Cups

10 of Swords

7 of Wands

Ok, we firstly analyze the images of the cards. Which theme dominates? (Masculine or feminine?). The theme is neither masculine nor feminine because we can see that the number of feminine cards(cups, pentacles) is equal to the number of masculine cards(swords, wands). That means the energy is very balanced. We look at the court cards if we have any. In this case, we have 3 court cards, we have the Queen of Cups, Page of Swords and the Knight of Pentacles.

Something’s odd, right? What could it be tho? Well, the queen of cups normally represents an emotional woman. It can represent a mother, an emotional person, a grandma, an aunt and so on. The reading is about this person’s mother so of course the cards are saying “this is the mother we are talking about, this woman right here is the subject of our conversation”. You connect to the asker’s energy and it gives you a very young vibe, maybe even childish and you look again at the cards. Oh wow, we have a Page and we know that the pages are the youngest and most inexperienced characters from the court cards. The asked is the page of swords, they are willing to learn a lot from you. They want to hear what you have to say. We see the 10 of swords and the 7 of wands and we see two men in difficult situation. Most likely the asker had a fight with their mom over something, over what? The “last” card we have is the Knight of Pentacles, the answer is money and the way the asker is managing their money. The queen of cups is worrying about the Page of Sword’s way of managing money and the page of swords is a very stubborn person. The mother could’ve not treated the asker right when they were a child and now the asker feels the urge to contact a psychic in order to understand their mother better.

Now, if I’d start making posts of how different card combinations work, I’d work at least 50 years to analyse, calculate and predict the fate of someone. If we take each card and pair it with another random card, we’ll have 6084 posts or analyses. Yeah, fine, it doesn’t sound so much but if we add all the possibilities and the situations the askers could get into we can as well multiply it to the number of possible situations and personality types each asker on earth has, which would make around 83780647 possibilities, which will make 509721456348 possibilities.

No sane tarot reader takes each cards meaning with a grain of salt because it wouldn’t make any sense.

Do not try to study tarot like it’s a science or something like that because it’s certainly not. The correct way of “doing tarot” is to mix 1% representing the cards with the 99% representing your own intuition. The reader is the one making the connections. Tarot is basically training your mind, that’s why you have to be quite intelligent to practice it accurately. I know things are very confusing at first and the cards can seem intimidating or mute but trust me, the cards never spoke, the higher self of the reader and the reader’s mind did, and when it did, it did accurately.

Btw, tarot isn’t a tool to entertain the reader and it cannot tell you how a normal day would happen, that’s why I don’t really like doing general readings. General readings don’t have a question so tarot can answer, they give too much freedom of interpretation, especially if the asker is known to be lazy lol. I mean, sure, sometimes the answer to those general readings are interesting but many other times they’re just boring.

So yeah, I didn’t really answer your question but I wrote a little. I tried doing that in the past but it never worked out since I didn’t know how tarot worked. It’s a lot based on experience.

Doc if Jeff Bezos offered you 250k a year to work for Amazon, what would you do?

These questions are always interesting to me, because really they ask one question: What’s your price? 

We all have one, and I’m not stupid enough to think I don’t, or that mine is somehow high enough that I truly have the loftiest and best morals of all, there’s only the question of: How much can I be sold for, and on what values? 

$250,000 over, let’s say just for the sake of argument, ten years, is $2.5M US/$2.12M Euro/$1.9 GBP. That’s not a small sum of money, at least in my world. Michiru would be over here writing out a check like, “Yes, yes, another yacht for father” but for me that’s wild ass money. 

CLEVER ASKER, btw, not saying “to work for him” perhaps figuring I could weasel my way to a sort of job working with Bezos where I could feel, at the very least, neutral on the subject. But no, working for Amazon, who I believe to be a major destructive agent of worker’s rights and local business, and the source of my constant frustration that so many liberals who were like, “BAN WALMART” have suddenly discovered that their price to go against the American worker is, in fact, two day shipping. You don’t get to reblog about organization and labor day while clickin that prime, in my mind. 

But still, there’s levels of “making this country actively worse”. So like, if I sold a novel, and that novel sold on Amazon, and my Amazon sales brought me to $250,000 a year, I may not feel GOOD about it, but I will sure as shit feel RESIGNED about it, because Amazon is the bookseller now. I cannot possibly sell a book but say “You can’t sell it on Amazon tho” (If I were the next JK rowling however, ideally with better writing skill and politics, I would do this, however. At that point, you can and should call the ball.) 

COunter this with “I run marketing for the expansion of Amazon warehouses, selling the idea to cities that I will bring good jobs while forcing cities to prostrate themselves with huge tax cuts while workers have timed bathroom breaks” I think that is a significantly bigger evil. 

And it’s not even, on some level, a question of “would I take it?” but could I do it. The highest paying, best benefits job I ever had, was working for the Wells Fargo Legal Dept. But I felt like the bad guy ALL THE TIME. I knew I was the bad guy, a lot of the time. I was using the law to protect a corrupt bank’s money and legal reputation, and there were a small, small handful of times in my working life I got to feel I did anything good. I couldn’t do it. It was too hard for me to work for Big Money and feel like a decent human. I would never go back. 

So I guess the boring version of this is, “I don’t know.” I would hope my price is higher than that. Jeff Bezos isn’t standing before me with a check, so its very easy to sit here and say I wouldn’t do it. But I don’t know. I’ve worked for a bad company doing a bad thing for less, so clearly when the rubber meets the road, I CAN be bought like that. But right now in my life, I am safe enough. I have a roof over my head and food, and I can do fun things. So right now, it’d be easier for me to say no.

Infinity train au?

Yesss...

It’s still very much in the rough draft stages as an AU, but here’s a basic run-down of where the OCs are at!

The main character is 14 year old Charlie, from an AU where her sister Chel was still alive and Brutus was her best friend at that age. One day, she runs away from home as she frequently does in canon, and hops onto the train as she sees it passing. At this point, she thinks it’s just a standard train that will take her far from all her problems

Brutus and Chel never end up on the train, and so are basically never seen ‘live’ throughout the AU, but they do feature prominently in Charlie’s tapes

Sid is there as a passenger, and as you might expect, his number is huge, covering most of his body. He doesn’t make any real effort to get it down and just wanders through cars trying to keep himself occupied. Charlie pretty much stays away from him, but he’s still relevant because she knew him (or at least, knew of him) before either of them boarded the train. In this AU, it turns out he wasn’t captured by the NCR at Boulder City, but instead saw the train parked in the train station there and got aboard to gather intel about this mysterious new NCR vehicle...

Canon Tibbs has plenty of trouble with trains, so it’s easy to imagine how he ended up boarding this one lol (summary: Infinity Train accidentally does a prison break to pick up a passenger). At the point when Charlie is on the train, he’s been there for a long time. His number wasn’t even particularly high when he boarded, but he’s taken up residence with the denizens of a science lab car and now considers himself one of them, to the point where both he and they sometimes forget that he’s a passenger. Has no intention of ever leaving the train, and tries to hide the fact that he was a passenger from other passengers that pass through ‘his’ car

Sigrid (Charlie’s mother) became a passenger shortly after she got thrown out of Arroyo. Obviously she left the train and carried on with her adventures as the Chosen One long before Charlie entered the picture. Charlie learns about Sigrid having been a passenger whilst she’s on the train herself, and inadvertently discovers the truth about her past at the same time

Natalia the Vault Dweller was most likely also a passenger in her time

Now, onto denizens! Naturally, JJ is here. He’s a statue from an art gallery car originally, but he mostly hangs around in a forest car with the aminals <3

JASPER IS A CORGI. This is very important information

Violet’s a denizen who lives alone in a painted world which she controls with her mind, inside of a literal painting in the art gallery car (inspired partly by Priscilla from Dark Souls). Ashlen and Grace can appear in the painted world, but they’re almost caricatures of themselves as Violet sees them and are being controlled by her, so it’s not really them if ya get me

I’m not sure exactly where they’re going to fit into the plot yet, but Ness is a denizen in a weightless space car

Also no idea how he’s going to become plot-relevant, but Victor Presper is 100% on board as a passenger somewhere, with a number the size of the freaking Milky Way!

Plot twist A: JJ is not actually a statue from the art gallery car at all. He was once a passenger, who ended up dying on the train (this is JJ we’re talking about, of course he’s going to die hgdsgh) and was reincarnated in a ‘faded’ form in which his entire body is grey and his number no longer changes. He lost most of his memories, and now believes he’s a statue simply because he looks a lot like the real statue denizens from that car (he thinks he’s a statue of a passenger because of the fixed number on his hand, btw)

Plot twist B: Tibbs now has a daughter, who’s a denizen. She desperately wants to leave the unpredictability of the train and see the ‘real world’ that she’s heard about from him... but she can’t

Thank you for asking, I have not conquered the sickness, only got my antibiotics yesterday so while I no longer feel like I’m about to keel over and die I’m still pretty terrible. Also my voice is 99.999% gone so that makes communication fun (sarcasm). I am currently oscillating between having enough energy to WANT to answer asks/do a thing/head bob slowly to music and regretting my own existence because What Is Energy. We Know Only Pain and Cheap Hot Tea.

So far it is fitting very nicely with that Pacifist Corling ffxv/undertale crossover that keeps body-checking me at random moments (I’ve never even played Undertale, I’ve only read like two (2) fan comics, one (1) fanfic and seen a few AMVs/comic dub videos. Yet here I am, picturing a Corling child who goes to Undertale and has Adventures and then returns to Eos very thoroughly pacifist and semi-magical and that’s why his first instinct would be to play folk music for the Nightmare Monsters of Eos. Because violence is never his first answer and everyone likes music right? Right. Apparently.).

(Also possibly Blind because there’s a Seeing Eye Flowey AU floating around the internet that makes me laugh my head off because PICTURE COR meeting his kiddo and not only can kiddo apparently tame daemons with music but carries a flowerpot in a backpack everywhere and when he asks about it the FLOWER RAISES ITS HEAD and badmouths him (”What? You got a problem with a Seeing Eye Flower? Buzz off human, we don’t need you!”).)

Let me preface anything else by saying I’m grateful for the support you offer not only my work, but that of *so* many other talented writers on WRA, as well. All this said, and in reflecting upon the previous ask where you’d noted individuals were not necessarily seeing the posts you’d hoped they’d see, what would you like the focus of your blog to be? IC? OoC? Writing? Æsthetic? Meme? Keep up the good work, btw. Thanks!

You know what’s really funny about that first bit? I think that frustration just comes from being here long enough, or facing these situations, or having it all pile on for so long without anything in the way of a break. Like I look back a lot to how I approached it when I was fresh faced on Tumblr and my mindset was very.... different. Truth be told I often look inward with this stuff first, I like to know what I’m doing or if there’s anything I can do to change my approach to get those desired results or to tighten up something that’s been getting me down. Because that’s what it’s always all about to me, improving on who I was yesterday. It’s just weird to me that in these spaces I seem to backslide more often then not, or things that didn’t bother me way back when bother me now. 

Anyways, I want to preface this by saying that I’m not usually currently frustrated when I’m making a post about a frustration. It’s more of an eye-roll, I gotta answer this question, what in the bag of all the things that slightly tick me off can I pull out. Especially in those ‘whats a pet peeve’ or the ‘give me an unpopular opinion’ I just try and focus on the things that actually bother me sometimes, whether they’re currently bothering me or not.

That being said I don’t think I meant to say that people were missing them, more so that I get kinda >.> when I note another RPer only ever shows up to reblog something (Usually without even a like! Jerks). I mean just because it bothers me sometimes doesn’t really take away that there are valid reasons for it (Like I often have to remind myself other people use a queue too). But sometimes it just becomes a pattern, where it does feel like a select few people who more often then not talk to me and tell me they like my characters or how I do things here, and then just never really translate that love into support. It’s always just randomly reblogging something that fits them, and less engaging with the content I put up. It just always felt like a weird mixed message way to go about things here, and yeah, it’s definitely been a pet peeve when it’s like ‘dude you just raved about my character the other day. How is it that you don’t actually engage, like, ever?’ And then the thought passes and I go about my day. That’s really all there is to it. Like I mentioned in that last post, too, there are often very valid reasons for these things that I’m just overlooking (which is more so my problem then anyone elses), and I try and keep that in mind. But it doesn’t always work out that way for me lol, sometimes i’m quick to cease on what I thinks wrong rather then the reasons why it may be that way. I swear I’m working on that.

But to answer your question, and sorry for the tangent I just wanted to clear some things up; On any given day I would like them to be all of it. I never made a blog and said ‘you’re going to be purely aesthetic’ or ‘you’re just going to have IC stuff all the time’. To me that’s so one dimensional. On my monk blog i’m gonna post about monk stuff, whether it’s a wise and airy line or a meme about how my character would interpret said wise and airy line. I like posting references or characters that inspire me to write them, I like answering posts both IC and OOC. I don’t really like to limit myself to just one pure style of posting, and I think that maybe that hinders me in the sense that there isn’t a clear way to go about interacting since I’m all over the place. While I think maybe some focus or more discipline in my posting habits would help some areas I get frustrated about, but at the end of the day, I don’t think it would be enough of a change to fix this particular problem as I don’t really see them as related.

I do appreciate you taking the time though. I mean, it says a lot that you would take a minute to try and help me out with something I was struggling with. That’s mighty kind of you @joci-w
