Illidari: Korrinth hasn’t had a home, or people to call family, in a very long time. Even before she became an Illidari she was fairly isolated for almost a decade. After her turn, however, she grew into the found family trope surrounding the Illidari and their band of misfits. Not only is she far more friendly to others of her kin? She will go out of her way to help them, almost* indefinitely. In addition to that, she is usually quicker to open up to them, finding other Illidari the only people who would truly understand what she goes through. It also opens up a few more doors as far as interaction; Korrinth was one of the first few batches to go through the process, she basically has seen it all and may even know your Illidari from their time on Outland. Also she is well versed in the application of runic tattoos, and often will offer to touch up or add to Demon Hunters who need an update. On top of that, she is passively looking for a master of the Glaive to give her some pointers.

Former Mage/runeweaver: Before her descent into the demonic, Korrinth was a very talented mage who hailed from Dalaran. Magic is still very much a big part of her life, even having learned to circumvent the fact her body automatically converts Arcane to Fel. Having such a deep passion and love for her craft is perhaps one of the only things that survived the transformation, and it is still something very close to her heart. Having specialized in runes herself, she has a lot of broad knowledge of arcana as a whole, but she truly excels at runic arts and has extensive knowledge on the topic. It’s truly a sight to see her face light up when someone brings up a spell or tome, or takes the time to debate magical theory with her. One of the few delights she has left in her cursed existence. It’s also not uncommon to find her among ancient ruins, libraries, or wizard towers looking for secrets and information both new and old about any number of magical topics.  

Odd Jobs: Being a travelling slayer with no home to call one’s own is tough. Especially tough when one doesn’t have a lot of coin to pay for the necessities. That being the case with Korrinth, in between her adventures in the occult or slaying, she has been known to pick up side jobs with a pretty wide range. While she can be a little picky on a case to case basis? It’s fairly common for her to take strange requests or odd jobs to pay for her room and board, food, and other travel expenses. 

Occult: With her years spent as an Illidari, her love for magic has taken on a bit more of a focus into the occult. There are several rituals, rites, sacrifices, and superstitions that she practices or utilizes, and it wouldn’t be uncommon for strangers to pick that up about her even at a glance. She holds with her an air of the supernatural, whether it be because of her demonic features or just the way she carries herself. While she doesn’t openly practice more wiccan-esque things out in the open? It can pretty regularly be worked in to her job slaying the things that go bump in the night, and the knowledge accrued from her time spent doing such.

17- what is your oc weapon of choice?

Hi there 👋

Good question! Kirollis is a rogue, through and through, and can definitely be classified as one who walks around with a small (if hidden) arsenal. But that being said he does have a few favorites or leads.

Generally Kirollis is known for his smarts in a fight coupled with ability. As such he generally picks weapons that would be good against a specific opponent. An advantage afforded to him, usually, because of the aforementioned rogue component.

Anyways, his boilerplate is a long sword (main hand) and a short sword (off-hand). Sometimes he does opt to have one long curved sword, as he can certainly still fight while two-handing a light sword. On top of that he always has at least two daggers hidden on his person. He’ll often start off gauging his opponents with the sword combo, before switching over to daggers (something he’s better with technically) to go in for a kill. Often by abandoning a weapon or two in a ploy before breaking out the pokeys.

I’d honestly be remiss not to mention that Kiro, the scoundrel he is, has a penchant for improvised weaponry and has killed people with a bevy of weird shit (like a frying pan). I’m sure there’s stories about him killing folks with a pencil, ala John Wick, being told forebodingly around a campfire as we speak.

Wanderer: Soriya travels. Like a lot. It’s not all that uncommon to find her… well, just about anywhere. Whether it’s sunny beaches, withering swamps, rocky mountain trails, winter wonderlands, exotic locations, or cities big and small? She likes to see it all, and actively tries to make that goal happen. If you ever had a character who’s in the more remote locations of the world, or even just getting away from the cities for a more vibrant setting? She’s easy to put anywhere in the world.

Martial Arts/Competitive streak: Being a monk by trade (And lifestyle) Soriya is practiced in several hand to hand combat styles. Having learned from the fable fist fighters themselves, there’s a sense of pride in her craft and a drive to hone it. While she certainly focuses on the healing arts more so than the offensive ones? She isn’t lacking in the other disciplines. She enjoys spars, and will egg them on if she finds an interested party.

Natural Healer: Soriya has devoted much of her young life into practicing the techniques taught by the Jade Serpent Discipline. She uses healing mists to rejuvenate and heal those who need it (Including but not limited to her foes). It’s not a stretch for her to offer this line of help to anyone she notices as injured, or will take it upon herself if the other party is unconscious. Her healing arts are deeply rooted in Nature and Life Force magic, and as such are far less invasive then Light based spells and abilities. Her magic helps to boost natural recovery, making it less instantaneous but easier on the body in the long run. A great caveat for characters who are weary of the Light or can not handle that brand of magic.

Pandarian Transplant: After coming to the Wandering Isles at the tender age of 18, Soriya has since become engrossed and equally engrained in their culture. It’s not uncommon for her to be among the temples there, having studied among many of them she often times goes back to train or even teach. Though unrelated to her monkly duties, she does enjoy the culture more so then she enjoys her own. That includes the food, and Halfhill market, where she can be found. Or the various scenic or cultural points in Pandaria as a whole. Anything in that broad category is palatable to her.

Headcanons Nobody Asked For

Whenever Soriya sees an animal she doesn’t immediately recognize she just calls it a ‘weird dog’. Couple that with the fact that she’ll use seeing a dog to get out of a conversation and you get this:
