hi my darlings 🤍 sorry for disappearing on you — a lot happened at once. often i turn to writing when life gets tough, but now i’ve just needed a breather.

i’ve just been hospitalised for a while because of my chronic illness and disability, which was hard, but at least i’m getting the help i need. i’m officially back on the streets! the downside is i’m now too ill to work and am scrambling to get some sort of financial support to pay my rent lols:,)

my lovely lovely dog and companion also passed away. she is one of the best things to have happened to me 🫂 i will miss her always.

i’m alright and will be back whenever i get my bearings — i just had to get off any and all social media for a while. i’m doing better and have thankfully been able to defer my exams, so i’ve only got to crank out some essays, which i can do from my bed 🙏

Zelos literally uses a term, in reference to Yuri's chest, that means things like captivating, alluring, charming, enchanting, and bewitching. Zelos is talking it up like Yuri’s purposely being sly to be a ladykiller and that he finds the “tactics” detestable.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I need more crossover fanfictions in my life man there like. My favorite kinda of fic.

I like seeing characters getting thrust into wildly different situations and conflicts than what they’re used to. I like seeing characters react and compare differences between the world they’re from and the world they’re in. I like seeing characters with similar struggles getting to interact when they wouldn’t otherwise because they’re from two different worlds. I like seeing characters from different media clash with each other because they have differing perspectives on something, or seeing characters from different media learn from each other by interacting. I just feel like we need more of those, for funsies y’know?

For example, what if Edward Elric ended up in Dungeon Meshi. How would he react upon witnessing or discovering Falin’s resurrection and finding out that it worked. Other than absolute anger (which is a given with Ed’s temper), would he be jealous, just a bit, because Marceille succeeded in bringing back the one she loved? Why did she succeed while he and his brother failed and said failure has horrifically impacted their lives? How would learning about a SUCCESSFUL resurrection impact the actions he takes in the future? Would he relate to Laios, as both of them are dedicated older siblings who feel responsible for their younger siblings? Especially considering both of them feel directly responsible for their siblings becoming horrifically altered due to their actions. How does he interact with Senshi? Do they bond over similar views on seeing humans as small, but vital parts of the world’s ecosystem? I bet Senshi would love Ed’s appetite, what with him having a bottomless pit of a stomach (due to human transmutation shenanigans).

I dunno, I feel like there’s a lot of untapped potential in crossovers, both in terms of angst and in terms of just, general chaos and comedy. Like, imagine Sailor Moon in one of the Souls games like Elden Ring. Or putting Kirby in Disco Elysium? Can you imagine the insanity?! Cuz I can, it’s hilarious.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people shit on straight couples in shipping and in general as a "joke" lately, particularly in the Dungeon Meshi fandom. Friendly reminder that, besides the evil straights, when you mock or put down straight couples for being straight/"not queer enough", you also make bi and pan people, and trans and ace people who experience hetero attraction feel unwelcome and lesser. Negativity hurts, love is love, happy valentine’s!

- so, I finally folded and made a Pikmin oc

Even though my love for pikmin goes really deep, I’ve never really made one til now. I didn’t really make one til now because with fan OCs, I like to add stuff from my own interests to the actual canon without ruining the vibe I had with the canon, and I didn’t really know to do that with Pikmin til now.

This is Pulp. I don’t have too much of a backstory for her except for her leafing ver. (Basically she basically got got from the Quaggled Mireclops so bad that the only solution was to make her a leafling. Because of her long exposure to the wet and muddy environment, her leaf-thing started to wilt from waterlogging. The suit on her left arm and leg got ripped from the fight lol skill issue *crying how the Quaggled Mireclops was how i and my brother first lost our deathless run*)

Anyways this was really refreshing and fun to make 10/10 would recommend Pikmin shenanigans and what not 👍👍👍👍👍👍
