Been thinking about what Ashton's FCG-inspired vest might look like, so here is a sketch based on that! I'm not 100% happy with it and I feel like it should maybe have a quote from FCG on it or something, but I'm posting it anyway because not everything has to be perfect.

I did make a long sleeve variant because they need warm clothes for the journey to Aeor, but I don't think it looks as nice.

I did do a color draft and fix up the linework and I'm excited to get back to working on it!#I know my process for art is kind of weird. I usually sketch on paper then fix the lines in Clip Studio and print it out and trace it #then I usually do a digital color draft and sometimes a traditional one as well before coloring the actual piece.#this sketch is a bit unusual because the back view is just coloring in a photo I took of the sketch in Clip Studio #and for the front view I flipped that and traced it in Clip Studio kind of rushed and then drew in the front of the outfit.

hearing that arcane had more seasons planned but it too got axed by riot is just so .... ugh, not even a show like arcane is safe from season cancelling :/

i was wondering how the hell they are going to managed wrapping everything up in just 3 more episodes and how extremely dense and even rushed some parts felt in the previous ones already so im honestly rather worried about what im gonna see next saturday ..

(just to add this in an edit; i saw conflicting things, i read they wanted to do more seasons but got stopped by riot and then that they didnt plan more actually- in the end its still just extremely condensed and rushed and im sad about it bc theres so much stuff in there you could make entire episodes out of ,,, and it doesnt change how i am worried they will wrap it up nor about them wanting to make more similar stuff)

Rei x Jadeite Week - day 1: Pride

For this first prompt I give you art and a headcanon to go with it!

So I think that in the Silver Millennium, Jadeite had a very hard time trying and getting closer to Mars. Even in the midst of all the plans and efforts to strengthen the bond between the Moon and the Earth, while the Moon people and the senshi were generally welcoming of the Earth people and doing their best to promote good relations between the two Kingdoms, Mars would mantain an unfriendly and detached attitude towards them. She would refuse to interact with them in any way except for the bare minimum courtesy, even in formal circumstances—she wouldn't accept a dance at a party, she wouldn't make small talk during meetings etc. Just to remind them that the favour and friendship that was being extended to them weren't to be taken for granted. So Jadeite had to think about something less conventional to approach her. Lucky for him he's the Knight of Perseverance (and bad ideas) so he wasn't going to give up easily! :D

She was the Princess of Mars, so her domain was battle and war. He thus started to boast about his exceptional and unmatched fighting techniques whenever she was close by. Making sure to be extra pompous about it. Being the prideful warrior that she was, of course she took the bait. She had to teach this arrogant man from Earth a lesson. So she challenges him to show her his supposedly amazing fighting prowess, planning to thoroughly humiliate him and put him back in his place. They start sparring occasionally, and he finds out that she is in fact much more inclined to communication and to physical proximity in a fighting context. She is not completely unapproachable anymore. So he obviously uses these opportunities to try to impress her (which mostly fails—he's the one more and more impressed) but most of all to at least start a conversation (even if it's mostly snarky little banters at first) and of course to be a little flirty now and then.✨

I was planning to make a second piece from a different perspective so that the pose and dynamics of the scene would be clearer but couldn't make it. I was never fully happy with it and I didn't want to waste any more time on it and decided to just post this and be done with it. ;_; I'll just link the music video I used for reference so you can check it out to have a better idea (the fighting sequence is at around 2:40)!

not to be true crime posting on main but i think i'm falling down the wm3 rabbit hole again

#xenia.txt #when i tell you this case keeps me up at night to this day #not even the murders themselves as much as the general public's reception to and opinions on the case 3 decades later like #i get why it;s always been so divisive especially after the pl docus came out (lots of opinions on those btw none of them are good #from the bottom of my heart fuck you joe berlinger and bruce sinofsky)#but it's truly baffling how no one is willing to do the research on what is arguably THE most well documented true crime case in recent #history like. everything that's ever been released to the general public is available online and i mean everything #you can find all the court files trial transcripts depositions interogation tapes aerial photos you name it it's out there for anyone with #internet connection to access at any and all hours of the day #and yet people are still foaming at the mouth fighting on reddit abt their innocence based off nothing but a couple of movies like #bffr with me right now!! almost every point the innocenters make can be easily debunked by scrolling through callahan for 15 minutes #'but they've been pushing for dna testing since their release so they can't be guilty' baby the case is closed!#it's been closed the second they took the plea. they can be striking under that courthouse and it still won't change a thing and they knowi #that's why they're pushing for it in the first place but that's just my opinion #^ and i say they but it's really only echols which makes a lot of sense to me personally #and if you want to talk abt dna testing let's talk abt the one that was done in 2011 and how the defense hurried to propose the plea as soo #as they got the results! let's talk abt those cause no one's ever seen them and i would very much like to #braga share the results the people want to know!!#makes me wonder which pieces of evidence they even submitted for that 2011 testing because if i'm remembering correctly #there was one that would've closed this case instantly and maybe that's why the results were never disclosed and the plea was rushed #but that's also just my opinion #and it's also interesting how the majority of people who have in fact deep dived into this case #(and i'm not talking abt big true crime youtubers as i'm very sceptical abt their research abilities)#all collectively lean towards guilty. much to think about #i was hoping someone would make another ~actually~ unbiased documentary for the 30th anniversary and go over all the case files #but i don't think that's even realistic at this point seeing as everyone and their mother has some sort of an opinion on this case #hbo deserves another lawsuit for this. they should've never won the first one in the first place #true crime tw

#bumblebeeweek2023 #bumblebee #transformers #maccadam #my art #sparkpulse au #i love how this art comes after the bad day art bc this is what happen when you dont learn the lesson and keep poking the beast with a stic #this is probably the worst time for Bee as he was trapped first and then seriously injured and then his spark shattered into pieces #and this fight was a huge mess because even his allies were confused and thought Bumblebee got corrupted and Windblade was unconscious #so she couldn't tell anyone to stop fighting Bee bc its literally just him #so Bee is very upset and he's hurt bc all his terribly memories rushed into his minds and remembering what exactly happened #meanwhile receiving help from below from another planet titan as she thought he was in danger #and she gave him some of resources so he can take on his actual form #anyways this is probably the most dramatic and intense moment in the whole story and cant wait until I get to this #like the fact I made this story because I envisioned this scene and it stuck with me ever since

i understand why people wanted (and still want) jujutsu kaisen to be darker and more tragic than it turned out but, not going to lie, pulling a tragic end now, in the last chapter, after delivering a conclusion consistent with the main theme and yuji's character development, just for the sake of cynical shock value would be EXTREMELY stupid of gege, and i do hope he's not going to ruin his story like that

#and ngl it would probably ruin the series in my eyes #idk i have a feeling that people are so desperate for edgy bloody ending that they are missing the simplest explanation #of rush in recent chapters #and its WSJ not giving yet another title of theirs enough magazine time to wrap things up neatly #everyone forgot mha even if its basically the same process?#and earlier naruto and bleach to name a few older madly popular titles?#this is a very ugly habit of their and gods i wish jjk was given time to breathe #and deliver a detailed ending it deserves no matter if good or bad or something in between #but it is what it is and series get chopped there as soon as they reach their climax and i don't think it will change any soon #and that it's basically expected of WSJ titles at this point #and yes i mean one piece too sadly #bas mumbles
