In this chapter: Pooja and Ethan spend some cute moments and the talk of the trip begins.

A/N: This has been sitting in my drafts for a long time as I figured out the storylines I wanted to do for the various pairings. Now that I have planned everything, I can finally start posting. This chapter is Poo & E. We meet the others in the next chapter💛

Derry Roasters was abuzz with enthusiasm, but it didn't seem to act on her. To her, it felt like someone had turned the hourglass of her life, let the sand flow and forgot to turn it back. Her time had stopped there on its tracks.

Around her, people rushed through their day, not waiting for anyone. She felt like the still picture amidst a fast-motion video. Sonder was the word Pooja would use to describe the way she felt. Sonder, for her, is Surprise and Wonder intertwined in a single word. Wonder, at how life changes every minute of every moment. And Surprise at how, even after so many afflictions, tribulations, one will find the happiness that destiny had in store for them.

The thoughts in her mind swirled and asked for all her cognizance. Transfixing her mind in them, she let her emotions engulf her with leaden steps.

Ting Ding Ding

Pooja's eyes tardily broke contact with the empty bone china coffee mug as she picked up her phone.

Brookline Rejuvenate sent you an email.

But for her, it manifested being a testament that all of it was happening.

That she was not tumbling around in an atrocious daydream, which would vanish the instant, she fluttered her orbs agape.

Yes.

Edenbrook, the nonpareil hospital in the entire States, was closing down.

Every day of operating there, felt like she was relishing in the will-o'-the-wisp of her aspirations.

The thoughts of Edenbrook made her mind travel to the day when it all began. The elegant calligraphy on the envelope with the Cerulean and Lime Green Logo that bore her name. The message that turned her life upside down forever.

Then the Diagnostics Team. The extreme cases they had solved. They saw its end too. They were working their free hours at the free clinic or in the ER. Everything, every day, seemed to rush around her.

The days seemed to fly past, and so did the time remaining for Edenbrook.

Everyone had started looking up places to carry on with their medical careers & residencies. But no one wanted to leave Edenbrook before it closed down. They wanted to cherish every day before the ticking clock struck midnight and supply the last of their best healthcare to as many people as possible.

The thought of leaving everything behind was painful for Pooja. You are taking away the most valuable of things, she convinced herself. You are taking away memories. Beautiful memories. Painful memories.

But there was another nagging thought that piqued her time and again.

The Gala was everything she ever imagined. But the most memorable of the moments was The Kiss. He had kissed her.

In front of everyone.

Her mind went to the embedding touches Ethan left on her that night.

Now, as Edenbrook's time came to an end, and she planned about the rest of her residency, she thought of her and Ethan's relationship.

Were they meant to be? Were all those feather-light touches, the kisses in the rain, the tears they shed together, going to end in vain? Were their lives only connected till here?

Was it the beginning of the end?

"You're here."

You will live a hundred years, Ethan Ramsey.

Tearing away from the colossal reticulation of her thoughts, she turned towards him. His summery blues, meeting her ambers.

"Hey You"

Ethan came over and sat in front of her.

"You didn't tell me you were coming here. I had to ask Alex and Sienna to know about your whereabouts."

Pooja let out a tiny laugh. "Whereabouts? You are making me feel like a criminal."

Ethan chuckled. "If so, then you would be the most beautiful criminal I have ever seen."

This made Pooja giggle harder. "You are talking as if you have met hundreds of criminals."

"I will never win any debate with you. So let's just...let it be?"

"Accepting Defeat, Dr. Ramsey?"

"If it makes you smile that, then I will always accept defeat for you."

A blush crept up her neck as she said, "Okay, too much. Now stop"

Ethan let out a last chuckle as his order arrived. A Vienna, a coffee and black forest cake for him and a butterscotch one for her.

Taking her piece in hand, Pooja said, "All I need is you."

"Hey, what about me?"

"Ah, you know you can never win the battle against this" She held up the cake.

"You're ridiculous."

A subtle tee-hee, and they were surrounded with a perfect silence as they got lost in each other's world.

A world where all the hustle-bustle inundating them evaporated. There were no questions asked, no side looks given, and no stops in the world of their love. In this world, their coffee, cake and their memories were their sole companions.

There were no catechisms, no side looks given, and no obstructions in the world of their love.

"So…umm..." Ethan began.

"Yeah?"

Oh, C'mon Ramsey, it is obvious that you have fallen real deep for her! Alex's usual tease came ringing in his ears.

Oh Lexandra, why don't you leave me alone?

But she is right.

Ugh! Since when did The Ethan Ramsey, the man who could make an intern tremble with fear, start to fumble?

He took a deep breath, centred himself and began again.

"Can we go on a tour? With all of your friends or the Invincibles as you all ridiculously like to call yourselves.

"Wait. You Remember That?"

"How can I forget when you are singing the name in front of me every 10 minutes or so?"

"Or maybe you need a membership to the Invincibles? Which, I should make clear, you are not getting."

"You are ridiculous-"

"-ly smart. Ya, I know, Thank you very much. And speaking of the trip, I would go on a trip at any time, anywhere, you don't need to ask. Just tell. I will be ready in 10 minutes."

"You know I am not talking about a trip from here to Brookline. We could go on, you know, an international tour. To a place of your choices."

Pooja's face became Stoic, expressionless. A sudden flurry of anxiousness spread through Ethan's Heart.

Then he remembered. A tip Alex had given him "free of cost" as she would like to say, a few days back.

"Anytime you are asking Poo to go on a trip to one of her favourite places, just count till five after placing your point."

"Five? Why?"

"Just do as I say, and you will see for yourself" Alex winked and left.

So he did.

One, He saw Pooja's eyes widen a bit.

Two, Her Amber eyes were full of joy and excitement.

Three, A light blush and the faint dimple on her left cheek appeared, adding a shimmer to her beauty.

Four, Her lips crept up in a faint smile.

Five, Her face and expression fully express-

"YAY! YAY! YAY!" Her cheer came along which earned her side-glances from the other customers. But who cares when it's an international trip you are talking about?

Of course, Ethan thought, Lexandra was right.

"That is a Thantastic idea!!!"

"I am sorry, but Thantastic?" Ethan couldn't help but chuckle. She was a source of his never-ending amusement.

"Gawd Thanie! Thantastic is just an Ethan version of Fantastic. Duh!"

She bent over the table.

Deceiving him to think that she was going to kiss him. In front of the entire coffee shop.

Only for her to smack his forehead lightly and comedically.

Since when did you become a sappy idiot like that? Ethan mentally ridiculed himself.

"Stop making a comedy show out of me in front of the entire coffee shop."

"Stop acting comedically, and I will stop too" Pooja shrugged and flashed that one dimpled smile that he had come to be a fan of

The things the girl does to me! And I thought love didn't exist. Even Ethan's mind was satirizing him.

The snap of two fingers brought him back from Ethan-land to the Derry Roasters, Boston, Massachusetts.

"I thought Ethan-land doesn't exist. Glad to be proven wrong." Pooja's mocking giggle was a melody he wanted to record on a vinyl and play on a record player time and again.

He thought of presenting a counter-argument.

You still won't win.

So instead of wasting his energy in vain, he decided to save it for later.

"Hmm. Coffee done. Now let's head home. We will ask them to pack the cakes."

"Buy a few more."

"Hmm?"

"You know trip planning? And I am pretty sure I said that you can bring along your fri-"

"I think you mean The Invincibles?" Pooja cut him off, cocking her right eyebrow.

"Whatever." Rolling his eyes, Ethan didn't let his amusement seep through his features.

They both got up. Ethan bought a bunch of cakes while Pooja giggled, nearly tripped and sprained her left ankle lightly, and finally succeeded in texting her mates to join them for trip-ing plan.

When Ethan came out of the coffee shop, hands full, he saw her slight limping as she walked towards their car.

Shaking his head, and having a mental peal of laughter because of her clumsiness, he went to the car. Opening the rear door, he kept all the goodies on the back seat.

Then he turned towards Pooja. She still had all of her attention transfixed in reading something fascinating on her phone. She didn't even notice him.

In a quick motion, he went up to her, and before she could process the whole thing, picked her up bridal style and seated her in the front passenger seat.

The next minute, he was behind the wheel and was driving them home. More specifically, The condo of the Invincibles.

Mental eye-roll.

"Ahem, Ahem"

Of Course. She was yet to speak something.

"So what are you now, Super Ramsey? Picking me up in the middle of the pathway?"

"You were limping, Poo."

"You know I can manage myself just fine."

He stopped the car. The condo was still a block away.

"Why did you stop? This is not where we live. You know that."

Ethan turned towards her and caressed her cheek softly.

She melted into his touch. Her eyes closed momentarily, her beautiful eyes and alluring shadowy eyelashes reflecting the serenity her heartfelt.

"Poo. I know you are a strong, independent woman. You like to be self-dependent."

He paused a short breath. Taking her hand in his and kissing the top of it, he continued,

"But I cannot see you hurt, be it a slight limp or a broken arm. I will always take care of you."

"I know you will. You always do. But a limp, a broken arm is faint compared to what I have been through. You don't need to worry about me all the time."

"I will always worry about you."

"Eth-"

He placed a finger on her lips. "No more ifs, or buts. It is something I wanna do. Not something I have to do."

And with a look of assurance and care, Ethan started to drive again. His features were calm, his blue eyes had hues of red and golden of the traffic in front of them.

The unsaid string of words that dangled between the two of them was what had tied them together so strongly. Which made him believe she was meant to be his and her to believe that he was meant to be hers.

Pooja waited for that day, impatiently, when he would be hers and she, his. Angst in fiction was her love, but angst in her real life? Not really. At least, not with Ethan Ramsey.

Stop being melodramatic.

She snapped at herself.

It took them an additional five minutes to reach the condo. Once there, Ethan was the first one to get out of the car. Pooja followed. She stood next to Ethan, who was now taking out the pastry boxes.

His senses called out to him, informed him of her presence. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the exact spot where she stood.

Then, as if it was a second nature to him, he swept her towards him by the waist and kissed her in four steps.

First, He kissed her dimpled cheek, earning a gasp from her.

Then, he kissed her forehead and left silent praises for her heart to hear.

Third, His suck on her neck felt like the touch of a feather to her.

And Lastly, His soft pink lips meet her rosy moist ones, full of passion and a love so pure that threatened to overpower their senses.

Slowly, he turned her around in the rhythm of a dance, and hugging her from the back, he sensually pulled at the tip of her ear as his soft words warmed her heart.

"Shall we?"

Not what she wanted to hear, but the feels in her heart didn't let her feel disappointed.

"Of Course." A reply she made with an unvoiced wish that the next time he kisses her like he did today, he says those words which will make her, his forever.

All My Sins - Chapter 15

Pairing: priest!Cas x demon!Dean

Summary: Dean fights back. But what if he just can't stop? Meanwhile, Cas has to run for his life. And the hellhounds are near...

Warnings: angst, lots of blood, strong violence, torture, murder…let's just say, it's pretty graphic. XD

A/N: Welcome to chapter 15! Gawd, I have so much fun writing violent scenes...I'm sorry. XD There is some extra heavy stuff going on in the next chapters, so be prepared. I literally can't wait to write all of this aaaahhhh :D Oh, and "Sweet Tooth" by Marilyn Manson is like the perfect song for this chapter, just if ya wanna know what inspires me from time to time - his music is THE SHIT.

Meg screams in surprise as Dean hits her right between the eyes. She cuts herself at her own blade, crying out in anger. "How-" The other demon tries to hold Dean to the ground, but the young man isn't going to stay there. No freaking way. He pushes backwards, until the other's back slams against a tree. The demon curses, struggling not to let go. But he will. After a few moments of fighting, Dean actually manages to overwhelm the creature, bringing it on the ground. He manages to free one of his arms, and immediately uses his fist to crush into the other's humanoid skull until the demon lets go of his other arm. But before he can make it, there is Meg right behind him, trying to stab him in the back. Dean winces, rolling aside in hurry. The blade almost stabs the demon that is lying on the ground, bleeding. Sadly just 'almost'. Meg growls in frustration. Blood is running over her face, making her features seem bizarre and grotesque. She jumps forth, the bloody blade in her hands. Dean tries to grab it, and makes her to let go of her hold, but she manages to push him against a tree, brutally. For a moment, pain pulses through his back, quickly followed by another feeling like his damn insides are being ripped out by an unknown force... He sinks to the ground, crying out. Nononononono! I knew that she was gonna use her freaking super - powers - And suddenly, he realises. If she can do this sick stuff, and she is a demon just like I am...well, partly... Dean breathes in deeply. Stay calm. Focus. The he rushes forward, getting everything out of the inhuman parts of himself. He almost flies, well, at least that's what it feels like in the moment he jumps in Meg's direction, his body filled with fresh strength and power. He lands on top of her, and they both fall to the ground. Within seconds, Dean grabs the blade, sticking it right into her forehead. She screams. Inhuman, loud, dark screams. The other demon cries out, rushing to her side as fast as he can. Still too slow. Dean turns around while he pulls the weapon out of Meg's skull with a quick gesture. She screams and screams, even louder as her partner gets simply beheaded by the deadly blade. His body falls to the ground with a muffled noise, blood spitting literally everywhere. Dean has literally no idea where that unbelievable amount of strength suddenly came from. But don't fucking care anymore. I want to see them bleed. Even more. It feels so fucking good. Meg attacks him again, but he just pushes her away like a single leaf has touched his shoulder and tickled him what made him to brush it off in annoyance. She falls to the ground, and gets up again. It's like a funny game. A game in which I'm making the rules. My rules. She winces and goes back a little as Dean steps closer to her, slowly. Her dark eyes are filled with nothing but fear - if that's even possible, well, she's not even human. The hole inside her head is bleeding, heavily. Her face is just a red painted mask with two black spots. Two spots I'm going to carve out. Now. "I...I'm sorry, Winchester. I...I may have underestimated you, I - " she stutters, almost in tears. The young man just grabs her by her throat, looking up and down at her 'human vessel' with his now pitch black eyes. "That's exactly what I was trying to tell you before, sweetheart. But you just didn't listen to me. I guess, now I will have to punish you," he says, his voice as sweet as honey. She closes her eyes for a brief second. "You have to...to stop," she rasps, "When you keep murdering others your demonic part will just get stronger and stronger. Look at you! You're just like me. Like us. You have already changed. It's  -" "Fuck off!" he growls, "Time to pay, bitch!" He can feel her thin neck almost break under his touch. I like that. "Dean...,"she whispers, but then he runs the blade over her throat, slicing it open, fully. Her gasps are music in his ears, as her body hunches over in pain. The blackness in her eyes flickers. And suddenly, Dean knows what she will try to do. She will try to leave this body, to leave the sinking ship! That's sad. I really would have loved to torture her in some different ways before killing her. But well, let's get this over with. He stabs her right through the heart, ripping her chest open with a quick movement of the blade. There is a strange light coming from her insides as she falls to the ground, and Dean knows that she is dead. Finally. In this moment, he hears a terrifying growl behind him. It sounds like all tortured voices of hell would scream in pain at the same time, awfully. The young man winces, turning around - just to stare into a pair of horrible demonic eyes in the colour of flashing red. Fuck. I guess the hellhounds are here.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Castiel's back is pressed against the wood of an old tree that he bets to be already rotten inside. Like I will because of the marks on my chest. Well, if I actually survive this. He is hunched over a little, trying to control his constant shivering. As he woke up about twenty minutes ago, he just knew that something wasn't right. Not right at all. Dean was gone, and he had no idea where he would have disappeared to. It was cold as hell, and his body was aching, but Castiel tried to look around as good as he could. But he found nothing. Well, except an pretty evil looking demon that was trying to kill him, obviously. All he could to was run deeper into the sea of trees, hoping that the creature though that he has headed for the street instead. Or was that a bad idea? I bet that it was! He closes his eyes, trying to ignore the pain that is caused by his wounds. I'm such an easy target, damn it. And what, if the police found Dean? Or what if Meg is back and - "Where are you angel?" a deep voice scoffs. Terrifyingly, the speaker doesn't seem to be that far away... And why is he calling me angel? Oh shit...he must be working with Meg! The priest tries to duck into a couple of bushes, looking around, his eyes wide and filled with pure fear. His heart races, and the smell of wet leafs is driving him insane, slowly. Sweat is running down his forehead, and he bites his bottom lip. Where did he go? Is he - "Found you!" Castiel jumps and turns around, just to get pushed to the ground by the man who just seems to simply appear out of the shadows. No! Before the demon can overwhelm him, the priest gets up to his feet again, stumbling deeper into the forest as far as he can. The other is right behind him, walking with slow, relaxed steps... As if he knows that he will catch me anyway. I'm practically dead. In this moment, he hears some terrible howls coming right out of the forest. And these sounds don't stop. They're are just getting louder and louder, followed by some creepy growls that are sending chills down the priest's spine. None of them sounds slightly human, they're deep and absolutely terrifying, giving Castiel goosebumps all over. Hellhounds. That must be some freaking hellhounds. What else could it be? And suddenly, there is only one thing he can think about: Dean! Ignoring the pain, he accelerates, running into the direction the noise is coming from, blindly.

I’m dying to share my heartache with someone as no one else I know is into it!!! 

I actually just started watching it two days ago XD but the beautiful gifs and artwork people put on tumblr had me intrigued since basically forever so I’m really glad it’s finally on netflix! 

I watch it in chinese with english subtitles (and yeah, neither are my first language but I just love to hear the original and I prefer english over german so I always end up chosing the english subtitles instead of the german ones XD) and omg omg omg you totally have to watch it!!! 

BUT I can tell you that you’ll have to brace yourself because the very first episode will KILL you! Like the very first minutes are THE WORST especially when you find out later who those people are and why it happened and adsfhgshasfdhbjd and then the whole series will continue to break your heart. So yay for heartbreak XD 

It’s all worth it though because Wei Wuxian is just so damn cute and pretty and talented and adorable and you just want to fluff and protect him and wish for him to be loved and cherished - which kinda should be Lan Wangji's point of view as well but SPOILERS!!!! he does an awful job at it in the beginning of the flashback so I really can’t wait for those fond looks of him to come through in later episodes.

Yes, I’ve been receiving your asks perfectly, I think!! The problem is that I tried to focus this week at answering my PMs, and recently some anon came back (and I say came back because I think I know who they are lol and off anon they told me they had left but came back and it was pretty obvious because after they told me so, I suddenly got the kaload of asks again). I appreciate it a lot, it had been such a long while since I received asks, but for each I answer they send me 5 more and I can’t seem to finish answering, but I also don’t wanna ask them to please slow down because I don’t want them to lose confidence… ;w;

Appmon quick FINAL thoughts

Wow! What a 7 months that was...I know I could have finished this series waayy sooner (especially if my blog wouldn’t have taken a break in July-August), but I had a life and future to worry about outside this tumblr bubble and in the end I’m glad I was able to find time to watch this series whenever I wanted to relax. Overall I really thought Appmon was good! I never really found a problem wit the episode pacing for important plot points, and I didn’t really find the beginning to be that boring really. At least it was better than Xros Wars’s first arc in my opinion. I can understand why maybe some people didn’t get into this because of maybe the humor it presented, or how much “filler” plot it had in certain episodes. I didn’t really see any episode to be filler (well maybe except the clip show in episode 26) because each episode at least addressed the main plot and how they could get one step closer to Leviathan. The series definitely wasn’t perfect, and I wished they would have used more of Appmon they gained throughout the series. At least with Xros Wars, you saw multiple appearances from many of Taiki’s Digimon that he had in his Xros Loader. At the same time, it really took me a while to understand how evolution worked and why the super grade needed to have a link most of the time. I just went with the flow and enjoyed what was shown to me on the screen lol.

I also have a few picky questions that really isn’t that significant but left me wondering...was Dantemon ever freed from being stone? Poor fella. Did L-Corp really just dissolve like that? No repercussions from its employees like Yuujin’s “mom”. And speaking of Yuujin...was that final scene confirm him to be alive again? If so, then I don’t get it lol...but I think it seemed to be like a dream or a fantasy from Haru? And Knight Unryuji man...I was a bit disappointed they didn’t bring him back for the final arc besides that short cameo in the end. His character had so much potential from what I was saw in him

Anyway with my minor complaints being out of the way, I pretty much love everything what Appmon was about. The theme of artificial intelligence taking over our world is interesting itself, and by using modern smartphone applications to this story presents a good example of how we today really so much on our phone and the internet to do everyday tasks and even in relaxing outside school or work. Honestly you don’t even have to be a Digimon fan to get into this series, because Appmon can stand alone on its own for being that unique. Sure it has some Digimon references (like the buddy partnership), but if you compare this to previous installments from the franchise it really gives off a different vibe from the characters and humor alone. Any sci-fi enthusiast would love a concept like this, and could easily get into this series.

I pretty much loved everyone from the main cast! Unlike other Digimon series where it actually took me a while to get in to the characters, I was intrigued with each one from the start (excluding Yuujin since I thought he was a side character in the first half of the series). From Haru’s adorkableness to help others (probably the most kind-hearted goggle protag out there), Eri’s badassery with a spice of elderly respect, and Astra’s eccentric attitude filming himself doing funny things while trying to follow in his family’s footsteps. BUT REI OH MY GAWD, he’s probably my favorite character! Episode 42 has to be my favorite episode from the series hands down. From being this punk hacker kid that drinks jelly juice we get to see a caring brother who wants nothing but to be cook good food for him...that drinks jelly juice too lol. And of course the best character of them all in everyone’s book the NOOOOOOOOOOOO guy. Probably one of the funniest gags I’ve seen in a series in quite a while. Pokémon typically does this stuff, but I’m happy to see Toei trying to format that with this goofy character. Too bad we never knew his name :(

For the Appmon, everyone was great! At times I did find Dokamon a bit annoying, but in a funny way xD He always made me laugh trying to get Eri’s attention. Offmon has to be my hands down favorite...I mean who doesn’t like Offmon?! JUST LOOK AT IT :3 Too damn adorable for this show.

I also really do wanna try and play the 3DS game too...then I realized it was only realized in Japan and I would probably need a 3DS emulator to get like an English translation -_- Oh well...maybe one day. But by looking at the cover art from the game, all I recognize is Haru, Gatchmon, and Offmon and I’m like WHO ARE YOU ALL YOU PEOPLE???? Probably the game’s AU xD

Anyway I don’t want to ramble too much about this and make this post long as it already is, but man what series that was...a highlight of 2018 for sure! And even though I am done with this series, that doesn’t mean that I can’t bring it up on my blog from time to time 👀I CAN FINALLY REBLOG STUFF FROM THE TAG NOW YESSSS (and I already saw similar posts of mine that were already GIFed and I wasn’t aware of it lol...was expected). To my new followers that I gained from this series (or old ones that liked Appmon too), please feel free to ask me questions or send me messages if you’d like to chat about it since I won’t be talking about it that much anymore moving forward after today. I don’t want to mention names, but I’m sure some of you are aware of a certain user that isn’t too fond of Appmon based on the reblogs on some of my posts. To each their own opinions, but please if you want to be critical and do nothing but hate, bash, and pull up ignorant arguments, don’t even bother getting a serious conversation with me lol....just putting it out there :^) I don’t hate anyone here, but I will ignore the ignorance, and hey you should too!

I know that a few Digimon Elitists and certain other folks feel a bit indifferent with Appmon (and some just judging a book by its cover), but you shouldn’t let that get to what you enjoy! This same goes for the Pokémon fandom as well, so I know the feeling. I personally will be an ambassador for Appmon to help spread to others (especially Digimon fans who don’t even know of this yet) when I get the chance to talk about it. I think I’ll start with my friend from college who watched Adventure to Frontier only...let’s see how he likes it xD

Again, I want to thank the Appmon fandom for all their kind words especially to @latiwings who always chats with me after each episode. It’s amazing how you can make friends by watching something! There are countless others too I want to mention, but it could be a long list lol...YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE <3 I am also grateful to have some of my posts being reblogged by @digi-egg who (if some of you didn’t know) is probably the biggest Digimon blog on the tumblr fandom. Basically the equivalent to @shelgon in the Pokémon tumblr side of things. Finally I want to thank Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, for teaching me how to be a protagonist in my own life. 1: What part of the anime/manga piqued your interest? Like, what did I see that made me want to watch it? TBH I don't know! I guess it was All Might lol. I just saw that a bunch of people on my dashboard were talking about it and about him and I was like "Okay, I'll watch it." (A few people IRL had reccommended it to me before but I was like 'eh'.)

2: Did you think Midoriya would be a good protagonist in the first few chapters/episodes? Answered before. I think the gist of it was that I thought he was gonna be fine, I just didn't know if the story was gonna be any good.

3: How do you think Midoriya’s conflict with Bakugou will end? Honestly I think it'll turn out fine. I mean, I think that they'll repair their friendship (if you can even call it that). I think Izuku has to stop focusing on Bakugou and Bakugo has to start respecting Izuku. I think it'll happen just fine as they grow into themselves. I would be surprised if they didn't repair their relationship, just based on common shounen tropes.

4: What was your first reaction to Bakugou’s treatment towards Midoriya? First reaction? Hmm, let me see if I can remember. I guess I didn't think about it much because I wasn't sure he was going to be an important character. But when I realized he was... I guess I was just surprised that Izuku put up with it all that time. Of course it could be because of his lack of confidence, but I guess I see it more as him having faith in Kacchan actually being worth maintaining a friendship with, despite the bullying? He's too sweet for his own good ^^;;

5: What do you think of All-Might as a hero? Pfft, well he's great, obviously! Isn't that like... the one thing you're supposed to know when you start the series? "The sky is blue. All Might is great." He's a good guy. He does what he can and he does it well.

6: Do you think that Midoriya deserved to get OFA? Of course. He's clever and determined and passionate and kind. Who else would have been that appropriate?

7: Aside from Midoriya, which character in the series do you think has had the most character development? I'm gonna SKIP this one, since I'm still only a lowly Season 2 graduate. I haven't seen enough change in any of the characters to say.

8: Favorite unpopular character? Honestly? Mineta. I know everyone hates him, but I like him for the same reasons. Yes, he's dumb and sleazy, but I think he acts as a sort of balance, and it's good to have a character that occupies peoples' soft-hatred but isn't a villain. Not every 'good guy' is unproblematic, and I think he has the greatest capacity for growth because he's starting so low on the likeability chart. XD

9: Favorite overall character? I mean, that's an easy tie between Izuku and All Might. Obviously. If I had to pick someone else though... Tsuyu. She's precious. Or Ochaco. She's also precious. Or Iida, who is (surprise) also damn precious.

10: Do you have any OC’s? Describe them! If you don’t, create one on the spot. Create one? Yeesh. Uh. Okay, I'll port some original OCs over. Addisson: chivalrous lesbian hero, dresses like a knight. She conjures 'light-weapony' (or other items; made of light/air/whatever, they function as intended until she lets go of them. Only for melee weapons though, not projectiles unfortunately.)

Pink: What are your main/favorite ships? As surprises nobody: Dekumight, for sure. But side ships? Erasermic, and anything involving Ochaco. (Roughly in order: Ocha/Iida, Ocha/Bakugo, Ocha/anyone else. Oh! Never seen it before, but how about Ochaco/Gunhead?!)

Blue: Do you have any NOTPs? By principal, no. I don't do NOTPs. But if you're asking which ships I just don't really like or don't really get, the winner would have to be TodoDeku. It's very popular? but it just doesn't pique my interest at all.

Yellow: Favorite fanfiction about your OTP? Ooh man, it's only on chapter 2 ATM but @thenightisdarkandfullofbooty’s "Fettered" is really really great so far! Other than that, I don't generally recc explicit fics, but Motte-Gwappo and Jabor pretty well cornered the market with good E-rated oneshots.

Green: Any preferred rarepairs? Ahah yeah, I main a rarepair. And from what I understand, pretty much everything that doesn't include Todoroki or Bakugou is a rarepair, so... uh huh.

Purple: Do you have any works centered around your OTP? HELL YEAH. Anyone who's reading this probably knows. I've got 11 posted Dekumight fics so far, and *counts* 4? WIPs? and... uh... roughly 30+ more ideas? *sweats*

Red: What do you like the most about your favorite ship? Aaaaaaahhh gosh. Everything. *sighs dreamily* Did you see me the other day, comparing them to freaking Christian worship music? Gawd. They have SUCH a great dynamic, and it's one that has a lot of potential for shifting in various ways too. I guess what I really love most about them is how genuinely devoted to each other they are. Shipped or not, they really love each other! It's so wonderful. =]

Turqoise: What do you hate about your favorite ship? Alright now this is silly question. Why have an OTP if you don't just adore every fiber of their being? In the case of Dekumight, despite what I think a lot of other people would think, I don't even hate the things that make it a controversial pairing. I don't hate that Izuku is underage, and that there's a fairly massive age gap between them, and that there's a 'power imbalance' between them, because that all adds to their dynamic. It makes them very interesting. I don't wish that Izuku was older. I mean, I've written that fic, and I think they're still interesting together, but honestly, the fact that they at least met when Izuku was young is pretty important to their dynamic and-- *goes on forever and ever* ADDENDUM: One thing I do hate is that the majority of the fandom can't (or isn't interested in even trying to) see how goshdarn much sense the ship makes.

Lavender: Does your ship get a lot of hate? If so, why? Hahahaha yes. I don't pay a lot of attention to the fandom at large, but I'm fairly certain it's the most hated ship in the fandom? And it's the only ship I've ever gotten hate over! (Wonderful. Wish I'd get more. It'd be a good outlet for my blabbering haha) I understand /why/ it gets hate though. It's underage. It's frequently read as a father-son relationship. Oh, and it interferes with other popular ships, of course.

Grey: Realistically speaking, will your ship ever become canon? I guess there's a remote chance. Like, top of Mt. Everest remote. haha wouldn't that just fuck with people. Naw, look, I'm fully accepting of the fact that there are at least 5 other drastically-more-likely options, which are, in approximate order of likeliness: 1. Izuku/Ochaco, 2. Izuku/nobody, 3.Izuku/another girl, 4.Izuku/Bakugou, 5.Izuku/another guy. I give Dekumight a .01% chance haha and I think that's a liberal estimate. XD; BUT! I would be more than happy for there to be at least a throwaway line somewhere about Izuku having (or having had) a crush on All Might at some point, and I give that a very generous 5% chance of happening haha.

Pear: What was your reaction to Todoroki’s backstory? I... didn't have a strong reaction. I'm not a huge fan of Todoroki to begin with. I mean, I felt bad for him, of course, but I guess I wasn't surprised or anything, so it was like, "oh. huh. poor kid." I'm more interested in what happens next.

Kiwi: Should the BNHA girls get more spotlight/recognition? Of course! They're all great.

Pineapple: What do you like the most about BNHA, as a whole? Well, I guess what I like is the characters! That pretty usual, for any story I get involved in. Blueberry: What makes BNHA unique from all the other shonen animes/mangas out there? I'm not sure. I think it's in the small details. I mean, I'm not sure it really IS unique from other anime, any more than they're all unique from each other. TBH I feel like it actually take quite a few elements from other popular series and puts them together in an effective way.

Nice, hope you enjoy them this weekend! And cool, I'll try not to gush TOO much, but wow, there was so much to love! I was kinda nervous about what the memory loss would mean, but they actually all retained their growth, like they deeply imprinted on each other in soul and not just mind! Eleanor was brilliant as always (and bi as always, I'll never be over either of her ships). Small thing, but also as an aro I appreciate them introducing platonic soulmates (still to torture but I'll take it).

Sorry ran out of room haha, just after I said I wouldn’t gush too much. Anyway, the episodes were funny and clever as always, full of well-placed references to S1 (I’m thinking of one with Chidi that still makes me giggle). And I was really not expecting where the episode ended up. So yeah, that’s it for my report haha, but I’ll be checking back if there’s anything that stuck out or if you watch them and find stuff you love/dislike/want to talk about as well. :D             

OKAY! So, true to my word (and despite the fact that I worked an 18 hour shift between yesterday afternoon and this morning), I came straight home and watched the premiere of season two of The Good Place.

I’m super excited about the fact that all four of our main characters (and Janet tbh) still feel something about each other, and I’m honestly really interested in why Janet brought Jason to Eleanor straight away - does this mean that her second reboot instilled her with enough knowledge to realize that Jason’s questions would be answered by meeting Eleanor privately? Does she remember more than she lets on about the first go-around (because we can only be 100% certain that Michael has been erasing the main four characters’ memories each time)?

Omfg, Chidi and his stupid almond milk issue. And I can’t believe Tahani got drunk off her ass in Eleanor’s place and made such a rich fool of herself. Such a stark difference from season one, though her ego when she has her intro scene with Michael about making it to the good place at all is just perfect. Lol.

I’m glad they sped up the second go-around of this fake good place plan though tbh. I remember at the end of season one feeling like, Wait, what happens now? They go through all the same motions? We have to go a whole nother season waiting for these characters to band together and figure it out?? And now we also see that Mastermind Michael is looking to be in pretty hot water too with his boss so I can’t help wondering how long he’ll get to keep playing with his little toys before Shawn gets wise about his insubordination…

The reviewer whose article I read online (right before you’d started sending me your asks about the second season) said that they’d already seen the next episode and, to quote their reaction, “OH MY GAWD!” so… good things, it seems like! Lol.

I’m really glad for the specific mention of “platonic soulmates” too. Truthfully, I had felt that something really lacking the first season was non-hetero/non-romantic soulmate examples. I’m still waiting for a LGBT+/poly/etc-friendly one myself. (I had seriously wondered if Gunnar/Antonio were supposed to be soulmates because they seem so intimately close/glued at the hip when they’re first introduced in Flying but it’s never actually touched on in the canon.)

Also, just a quick thanks to you, anon, for sending me these asks at all! I’ve been steadfastly keeping my eye on the season premiere dates for all my currently-airing favorite shows - Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, Bob’s Burgers, Fresh Off the Boat - and, having noticed that TGP was the first one to get their season premiere, I’d already been rewatching season one to freshen up my knowledge before you sent me your asks about season two. It was a real treat to learn that you got yourself invested in the show because you saw the GIFsets I had been reblogging, and always fun to have someone to talk to about a rare interest.

Here’s hoping we get to talk some more! If I missed a specific point you wanted my opinion on, I’m sorry, I’ve been up for about 24 hours now and I’m, um, pretty dead. Yeah. Pretty dead. I’ll be hitting up the bad place pretty soon myself if I don’t go get some sleep. Hehe.

15: go google a weird space fact and tell us what it is!   *Do constellations look different other planets?*  The planets of the Solar System do revolve around the same central body, but they do so on different orbits, so they will observe the stars from slightly different angles. This will make the constellations we see from here slightly different from the ones you see from there.

17: what color do you really want to dye your hair? I’ve always wanted to go completely blonde, or smurf blue.

18: tell us about something dumb/funny you did that has since gone down in history between you and your friends and is always brought up. That fucking time I sat on a goddamned apple pie. It was a Christmas party, and I had excused myself to the porch to have a cigarette. I sat on a chair, and it occurred to me that it was warm, and didn’t pay it any mind. I don’t see well in the dark, and there was a towel on the seat, covering the pie, so I didn’t notice it until I got up. SO fucking embarrassing since I knew literally, two people, at this party.

19: do you keep a journal? what do you write/draw/ in it? I tend to doodle spirals, or repetitive lines, kind of like concentric circles. I write about how I’m feeling in that moment, the things that are randomly floating through y head, stuff I need to remember, grocery lists, phone numbers and appointments, and other random bits. I carry a hard covered spiral bound book or a children’s school notebook at all times with a pen.

20: what’s your favorite eye color? I really do enjoy all eye colors. No one in particular. Each eye is different, and I rather enjoy looking into them and noticing the variations. But I rarely do this.

21: talk about your favorite bag, the one that’s been to hell and back with you and that you love to pieces. I don’t have one in specific that I think of in these terms. I pitch any bag that carries a major association with. I do, however, have a green duffel bag that I’ve had since my first trip to the states with my first husband. That’s nearly 20 years old now.

22: are you a morning person? I can be. But I prefer waking in late morning.

23: what’s your favorite thing to do on lazy days where you have 0 obligations? Nap. Listen to soothing music. Watch the leaves moving in the trees. Curling up on the couch. Watching a favorite movie. Eat yummy food. And then nap some more.

24: is there someone out there you would trust with every single one of your secrets? My followers, of course. I haven’t given my tumblr address to anyone in my family, or my close friends. There’s actually only two people whom I’ve shared this site with that I know IRL. You’re all privy to my worst secrets.

25: what’s the weirdest place you’ve ever broken into? An old Jail? I dunno, breaking into something isn’t really my forte.

26: what are the shoes you’ve had for forever and wear with every single outfit? Nada. Crocs from the dollar store, hahaha. Not a fashonista at all, and gave up matching shoes before I had my second child.

27: what’s your favorite bubblegum flavor? Excel Green. Whatever flavor that is. Spearmint I think?

28: sunrise or sunset? Depends. If I’m with someone I love, Sunrise. If I’m real fucking down, Sunset.

29: what’s something really cute that one of your friends does and is totally endearing? Christ. This is a thing?! I dunno, they banter back with my sarcastic insults.

30: think of it: have you ever been truly scared? Yup.

31: what is your opinion of socks? do you like wearing weird socks? do you sleep with socks? do you confine yourself to white sock hell? really, just talk about socks. OMG. I’m a toe sock junkie. I prefer the fuzzy, soft kind of socks if the floors are cold. I like Toe socks because I can wear flip flops with them, and I call them my campfire socks. Less Mosquito bites if I wear those during an evening campfire. I have a lot of crazy patterned socks because my ex and the kids tend to steal them if they’re plainly colored.

32: tell us a story of something that happened to you after 3AM when you were with friends. Uhhh…I sobered up? No, really. There aren’t a whole lot of people I’ve stayed up all night with. It’s my time. It’s private.

33: what’s your fave pastry? Strudel.

34: tell us about the stuffed animal you kept as a kid. what is it called? what does it look like? do you still keep it? I have two stuffies I got as gifts as a kid. I don’t know why I keep them. There’s no association with them at all. Maybe because most of the things I had as a child were so often thrown away…Huh. I haven’t named them. Both are bears. One is on all fours, on is sitting on it’s backside. Now that I think of it, I really should just pitch them out.

35: do you like stationary and pretty pens and so on? do you use them often? I <3 comfortable, smooth writing pens. And when I find one, it stays with me until it goes dry, and then I miss it for months, and mourn it’s loss. I once had a pen I kept for seven years before it dried out, no joke. Stationary makes no diff to me at all.

36: which band’s sound would fit your mood right now? Umm. The Cranberries.

37: do you like keeping your room messy or clean? Clean. I feel good when my room is clean.

38: tell us about your pet peeves! I fucking hate wet towels on my bed. When people refer to the USA as “America” and not the United States, they aren’t the only goddamned country on this continent.

39: what color do you wear the most? Black. I love bright happy colors, but when I had my first child, my husband and mother in law insisted they help me build my wardrobe. It was all pastels or white & black, and a lot of khaki. So, I gave up my own sense of style. I wear a lot of black.

40: think of a piece of jewelry you own: what’s it’s story? does it have any meaning to you? I have a diamond and Ruby ring that my kinds’ dad gave me as an “I’m sorry” gift. He didn’t take my side in an argument with his parents. He didn’t agree with me.

41: what’s the last book you remember really, really loving? Mo Willems Don’t Let The Pigeon Books.

42: do you have a favorite coffee shop? describe it! Not at all.

75: tell us about your pets! I have a white, Californian bunny, named Mr. Benjamin. One of my children is allergic to cats and the other dogs, and I had a terrible experience with a Hamster once. Traditional pets really aren’t our forte. Mr. B travels well, and is typically well behaved until you piss him off.

76: is there anything you should be doing right now but aren’t? Finding something for dinner, since mine was scooped by one my sons’ friends. Or cleaning because our home will be shown by a realtor tomorrow.

Thanks for asking! I haven’t had a fanfic rec request in awhile. 

However, as far as “good L/L fics,” that is wholly and wildly subjective. The danger of recommending any fic runs the same risk of doing those Follow Forever posts, which I don’t do, because I’ve seen ppl who were left out feel hurt and excluded. 

Recommending fic feels slightly different to me bc it’s up to every reader whether they like something or not, and I don’t read every fic with that pairing. My closer VC friends and I happen to agree on many favorite fics and that’s been wonderful, but please ask other ppl for recommendations, too. Anyone is welcome to reblog/comment with recs!
